I don’t know if you watch kdramas or not but there’s this really cute kdrama called Terius Behind Me(2018)/My Secret Terrius and it’s so retired Ghost coded with a few changes of course. But anyways just imagine retired spec ops ghost ending up as an unlikely babysitter(and future stepdad) for his next door neighbor’s kids, who’s also a single mom and unintentionally involved in a conspiracy because of her dead husband.

WAIT A DAMN MINUTE. I DON'T WATCH K DRAMAS. BUT THIS REMINDS ME OF:

this is SO dramatic, but still... my greatest fear if norrix/kirsi end up together is if it feels like a case of pair up the spares. like i want them to end up together bc they're fascinating characters individually and i'm beyond curious to see them interact more and spark off each other, and i'm v. taken in how they're opposites and similar to each other.

like i want them to feel right for each other! not... oh norrix has to get over lucia ~somehow~ and oh, isn't it convienient that reimund is dead?

like. the problems of a small cast. it annoys me so much. and like!!! i can be done! like fruit baskets did an excellent job with yuki/machi, (despite my otp yuki/tohru being motherzoned, le woe) where it's two fascinating characters at an impasse, and the crossroads where they meet, again and again and fall in love over time. (tbf, fruits basket cast was huge, but i think yuki/machi falling in love felt organic and not 'well i guess we should date now bc no one should ever end up single and we gotta get rid of yuki/tohru side of the triangle through motherzoning'. and the kdrama my secret terrius/terrius behind me, where i was annoyed that fl's husband died in the first episode... but by the end i was SO charmed by ml and fl's friendship that i was actually rooting for them to kiss.

i mean, i guess it's fine if suitor armor ends with kirsi a widow and norrix single. i can write the fanfic, ig! i can construct an elaborate headcanon bc i do nothing else.

but like. one fear, among many.

I just finished My Secret Terrius which I think I've watched more quickly than any other kdrama!

It was sooooo good.

I heard that they were thinking of a second season. Where is it, dammit? You can't set up a couple with a spy-fake-marriage-in-New-York plot in the final episode and not expect me to want more??

At the very least, I hope there's some good fanfic.

Anyway, it was reeeally good!

I’m so bummed that My Secret Terrius/Terius Behind Me is no longer on Viki.com. It’s where I watched it, twice. It was also on Kocowa but I don’t have that anymore, and I have a feeling it’s not on there either. Turns out it is still on Kocowa, but you’d have to pay a monthly fee to watch. 

It’s 100% worth watching, so if you’d like to do that for free, try dr*m*nice . so (the * are “a”s.)
