Book 418
Otherworldly: Optical Delusions and Small Realities
David Revere McFadden
Museum of Arts and Design 2010
Published to accompany an exhibition at NY’s Museum of Arts and Design in 2011, this book features over 35 international artists, sculptors, photographers, and videographers whose work is focused on the creation of small worlds. The scope and scale of the art is wildly variable, but uniting the artists is their interest in achieving their effects without the use of digital manipulation, instead preferring to use traditional handcrafting techniques.
