"Thank you, Gohan." The Namekian wasn't used to others remembering his birthday and he was pretty sure that most people didn't even know when his birthday was. Even he had almost forgotten that it was his birthday.

Piccolo gratefully accepted the bottles of spring water, which really were useful for days like today when he was out training in the heat.

"These won't go to waste. This didn't take any time away from your plans, did it?" It was hard to remember sometimes that Gohan had grown up and was no longer that small kid that he had trained years ago.

"I haven't really communicated with Nepgear that much. Although from the few times I've seen her, she seems more hard-working and mature than her older sister, Neptune. It's strange because when you put those two together, Nepgear looks like she would be the older one rather than the other way around. Besides that, however, she also has great potential, which is expected given she was born a CPU Candidate. Unfortunately, the only thing holding her true potential is that Nepgear can be a bit of a pushover. I'm guaranteed if she became more assertive, her potential would shine even brighter."

Surprised by Tater’s sudden boldness, the Namekian could only bring a hand up to his nose where she’d previously kissed. Color is quick to enter his cheeks and he quickly turns away from her before she can see the effect she has on him, cape swishing in the air with the movement alone.

"Hmph...a little warning would suffice." He mutters, dropping his hand to his side as he tosses her a quick glance. Just what was she trying to achieve by doing that? Tch, whatever...it wasn't like it mattered to him. The action didn’t go unnoticed though and he understood well what this gesture was meant to symbolize.

Affection, but not the type he had ever thought he'd receive. Much less, the sort of affection that Videl and Gohan openly displayed. Searching the area, he was relived to notice that nobody had been around to witness Taters sudden surge of bravado. Yet, he didn't say much as he turned to face her, his blush less evident than before as he reached out to tousle her hair, "J-just don't expect me to let it slide next time, got that?"
