considering the concept of "i will find you in every iteration of this lifetime" stories and like. what if it isn't always so black and white as finding soneone as an adult and falling in love with them and living out the rest of your time together until the cycle ends and begins anew, displacing you both into new circumstance and different locations. what if you aren't even human half the time. what would a story like that even resemble, what kind of ramifications would it hold. what would your body remember. what if one cycle you spend years as a wolf chasing the same deer over and over only for them to spring free at the last second, and sometimes in the end you catch them and sometimes you dont but either way you call both the obsession and the sinking of teeth love. would you be a single outstretched arm of sunlight in another life, your only connection being the long hours of afternoon where you can warm the single blade of grass that makes up their whole existence. what if you were two mountains miles apart united only by the scope of land between you and the swath of sky you shared, and you called the clouds which hovered over you both love. what if sometimes they were the wolf instead and you let yourself be caught every single time. what if you were the silence and they were the music which decorates it. i havent slept in two days but that's irrelevant. theres so much more potential for the concept of inevitability and fate and being bound together. if you held someone with two human arms would your body remember what it was like to be a flash of sunshine over a tangle of weeds

People should comment on fanfic bc sometimes the fanfic author has to fix a broken pipe at short notice with a sleeping tablet in her system and what she thinks might also be covid, and so moments away from crying her eyes out she'll read your nice silly words on ao3 and NOT let the broken pipe be the final straw actually.
