Yandere Sim Redesign-Rivals 6-7

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Another ooooonnneee yayyy! This time it's Muja Kina and Mida Rana!

First is Muja Kina! I gave her scrubs since it's more 'professional'(My dad wore scrubs during his time in nursing school so I went off of that). She is a mom who is going through nursing school! Her daughter is Kaguya(1980s) and her sister is the Lingerie Shop Owner(20xx). THE WEEK: During her week, a flu virus will break out into the school! Many students will wear masks(I like to think that if you don't wear one your reputation will go down). Many students will also occupy the nurses office! Since she is an assistant nurse, she will be by the head nurse most of the time. Taeko will heavily like her because of her personality and kindness(I tried to make it less gross, like when you develop a crush on a teacher but grow out of it?). ELIMINATIONS:

Fired-A fun one! Alex said he wanted the faculty to have a different meter than the students for expulsion and such. During her week, you can report her to the guidance counselor about bad things(Like giving kids the wrong pills, not tending to them, an unhealthy environment, ect.). Pills-Since she tends to forget stuff, you can use this to your advantage. When she isn't looking(and if you have the keys), you can grab the pills from the cabinet and switch them for something else(Lethal or non-lethal). This will result in her getting either fired or arrested

Cotton Candy-Since her favorite food is cotton candy, maybe you can use that as well! Taeko will gift her candy on a specific day, so you can switch it out for fiber glass! This will kill her Rejection-You can make Muja reject Taeko, causing her to become more distant from her. After her week, Muja will see Taeko as a prankster who is trying to make a fool of her Needles-I thought of this during the Rival Intro Video! She will have an event where she will run while carrying a tray of needles. You can make her trip using a wire, then you can put acid or chemicals from the lab in the needles. If she falls on them, she will melt from the acid

CANON ELIMINATION: Fired! Fits better I think

Next is Mida Rana! Ew-I tried to make her outfit more appropriate since we can't have her bazongas out at school. THE WEEK: During her week, the school will have exams! That also means after school study sessions! She will be subbing for Senpai's class since the actual teacher got sick from the flu last week. Mida, like the other teachers, has had immense training for protection, so it will be hard to kill her. I want this week to be a little more serious, so after Mida sexually harasses and assaults Taeko, the high schooler will fall into a deep state of depression and kill herself on Friday after school. This won't happen unless you take a peaceful route... ELIMINATIONS: Arrested-Since she is a pedo, you will need to get evidence of her acting inappropriately with students at school. On Friday, Genka will fire Mida and report her to the police. Matchmaking-For this, you gotta use Toga(poor boy-). You will need to make Mida more interested in him, drawing her attention away from Taeko, but this will cause Toga to be more paranoid and antisocial Tripping-Since she wears heals, it can be used to her disadvantage. You'll need to pour water on her, so'll she'll go the the teacher's locker room and change. Steal her heels, chip them(with like a saw or axe) and put them back. As she walks up the stairs to class, her heel can break and she'll fall, busting her head open and killing her

The rivals will never come, let's be honest. So here I am reviewing them as a writer. Buckle up, I'll tackle all 10 of them. We'll give them all a rating and then calculate the arithmetic mean to see how "good" of a writter Pedodev is.

I will automatically take 5 points from a character rating because (except with Osana) their actions aren't shown in-game. The attitude, acts or behavior can tell us a lot about the characters, but with yansim rivals they are just "she's nice", "she's mean".

Osana: 10/10

Why? Sure, she might not be the best character, but from a writting standpoint, she is the best. She has qualities, flaws, internal and external conflict and actions, language and behavior that indirectly characterizes her.

Amai: 3/10

Just qualities no flaws. Boring. And she doesn't do shit in the story. Give characters flaws, those are sexy.

Kizana: 6/10

Gets a pass cause she's a bad character and makes sense for her to only have flaws.

Oka: 2/10

Overloved by fandom. She has like flaws but damn, she just seems uninteresting. Also, from her, I expected qualities. After all, she's a club leader.

Asu: 3/10

Litterally same story as Amai

Muja + Mida: 1/10

Do I even have to explain? Even from a writting standpoint they are dogshit

Osoro: 8/10

She gets a high pass because she has both qualities and flaws and there is some known lore to her. Probably my second favorite. Also bonus point because she has a major flaw that overshadows the good ones. I am a sucker for these characters

Hanako: 3/10

Bro, she is the ebodinment of the word 'cringe'. I'll never stop hating on her clingly possesive ass.

Megami: 4/10

What do we have? Little miss Waa Waa I have bad past but everyone likes me yet still I'm sad waa waa. Cry me a damn river. At this point, I'm just biased. Only one bonus point because she is important.

Now let's do a little calculation

(10+3+6+2+3+1+1+8+3+4)÷10= 4.1

If you are going to make a video game with lots of characters, try to make them compelling

Everyone remembers how when Osana Najimi was being developed it seems her most popular elimination method even with YanDev himself was rejection. Kaguya Wakaizumi canonically gets eliminated by Ryoba through *rejection* and it got me wondering.

What if there were a “Like mother. Like daughter” achievement in YanSim where the player defeats the 202X rivals in the same way that Ryoba canonically eliminated the 1989 rivals?

Like Osana gets rejected, Amai gets burnt, Kizana gets crushed, Oka is poisoned, Asu drowned, Muja gets electrocuted, Mida gets fired, Osoro gets her reputation more ruined than it already was and leaves, Hanako gets matchmade and Megami is befriended

Of course this also includes having a pristine reputation and nobody witnessed your crimes or your rival’s deaths with Amai through to Muja

And after Megami’s befriend scene ends the player would get a rare achievement for being just like Ryoba was in 1989

......Bro Taro was confirmed to be 18 years old... Muja is a young adult, probably in her 20s or 30s... "She did nothing wrong." Stop using her beauty and sweet personality as an excuse so people won't hate her.... she's just as bad as Mida....

Ideas for fixing the problematic rivals in yansim:

Muja & Mida: Instead of them liking Senpai, Senpai has a one-sided crush on them. If the player does not succeed in eliminating them, then Senpai will confess to them at the cherry tree, where they will reject him. Senpai will be so sad from being rejected that he will not want to have anything to do with romance, and Ayano will not be able to pursue him

Hanako: Instead whatever sweet home Alabama is going on in game, she's simply a clingy sister who does not want her brother getting a girlfriend because he'll forget about her (I myself have a clingy sister, although not to this extent, so it's not entirely unrealistic. The game is unrealistic either way) If Ayano fails to eliminate her in time, she will have a conversation with her brother at the cherry tree instead of confessing, where she'll convince him to avoid romance for a while (this especially makes sense if you take into account the past rivals disappearing, perhaps their conversations throughout the week will involve that)

These are just rough ideas, but I think they're already better than whatever Yanderedev has in mind

I hope y’all like my reworking of Muja. I wasn’t rocking with the age gap, so I made him a student taking pre nursing courses. He tends to work in the nurses office so he can get class credit and becomes a love rival whenever Aishi’s love interest comes in needing a first aid kit. This is my first time reworking this character so please be kind 😭😭 if you want anymore characters reworked let me know!

I'll tell you this much. Muja Kina is NOT an adult nurse. And for extra clarification, the only students that should be eighteen are the third years or second years that were held back or something. And for extra extra clarification, student and teacher relationships are not allowed in Akedemi High.

With all that out of the way, Muja is a college student seeking an apprenticeship or entrepreneurship with Mrs. Nasu. So hypothetically, she's probably a year or so older than Taro. And does NOT for the love of God call him Senpai. (I might remove that from most of the students in general.)

I gave Muja glasses not for the sake of her being "different" or giving her a "less popular trope for beauty standards" or anything. Simply because if Muja was an oversexualized, clumsy, and chronically horny nurse, she would be a bad copy of Mikan Tsumiki. I'd rather give Muja a reason to fall over air, and that being her constantly misplacing her glasses.

Outside of that bad habit, she is still a very responsible student. Hence why I think that she should have a couple of unique functions. Firstly, I don't think she, as a student of Nasu, should follow Ayano, leave if asked, or distract someone via Ayano's command, even after befriending her. Rather, I think that Ayano should have to cause some sort of incident that Nasu will send Muja to take care of. Even better, Ayano should have the capability to cause incidents in certain situations.

"Accidentally" injure one of the Martial Arts members while training, hit a student a bit too hard with a ball while trying out some sports, Accidentally trip someone while they're walking down the stairs (let it be one of the cooking club members PLEASE).

Once someone gets injured, Nasu will either send Muja or go herself. It would be better if Nasu went since it would leave Muja alone with only some patients. But to make it a bit harder, I think there should be an extra bench on the right side of the office for some random conveniently sick student to be sitting their and watching. (It would be hilarious if it was just some simp student.)

Speaking of simp, Taro IS very sick, but he doesn't mind at all being cared for someone as pretty as Muja is. I'm not sure if he's particularly in the right state of mind in this week, but if Muja were Mida, she would've been able to convince him to date her while he was in such a bad position. I think if I decide to stretch Muja's week, Taro could possibly get better and then he'll begin interacting with her regularly.

Otohiko and Sakura are regular-ish patients, with Otohiko arriving daily and Sakura weekly for mandatory medicine for her heart disease. A user on reddit (I wish I could find the post and credit them) had the idea that killing someone in front of Sakura could result in her getting a heart attack and dying as well due to shock, which would suck if you want to keep the gardening club open for all of its resources.

I'd also like to add making Muja a bit harder to kill due to knowing how to protect her body, clumsy or not. I imagine that if she was getting strangled, if Ayano isn't at peak physical strength, then she should be able to pry the weapon off just enough to scream for help and get the attention of anyone around.

I think I still have some ideas for Muja, so I might add to this in the future.

My Mida and Muja headcanons:

❌Mida Rana is not a rival in the main mode, instead the sixth rival is Osana, and the first rival is Kokona

⌛Instead of, Mida Rana appears in the 1989 mode, but in the role of a horny and vulgar Akademi University student (who will probably be expelled one week for inappropriate behavior)

🐱Muja Kina is not a nurse, instead she is just a cute student and a member of an animal lovers club, or a member of a gardening or cooking club

❓I have not yet figured out what difficulties will lie ahead in eliminating Muja Kina, perhaps she will have a protector(s), or she will simply spend a lot of time around people, and we will have to get rid of witnesses
