So this summer I stayed in a small town in Japan to learn Japanese and teach English. Our accommodations were a variety of guesthouses in various parts of the city. At the end of the first week a group of us international students were visiting a guesthouse in a village and while there cleaning the front porch thingy this kid drives past in a truck and waves in our general direction. Only caught a glimpse of him, but I knew he was cute. The program director had me ride with him because his car was nicer and a little ways down the road he pulls over and gets out of his car to talk to that guy in the truck from earlier. Now that I’m close to him, I can see he is CUTE AF and knows it. Round face, big round eyes, hair dyed brown, wearing black hoodie and pants and has a black towel on his head because Japan. He looks about 14 but I know he’s older (he’s 20 or 21). My brain just died for a bit from the overload of cuteness. The program director must have said something about me because he looked over at me a couple times. After a minute or so the program director gets back into the car and the unbelievably cute guy walks up to my window, bends down, and says “bye bye” in that frickin’ adorable Japanese accent and I just can’t anymore. My brain died. I was smiling randomly for a week. I was told the story of this kid, which is pretty cool by the way, but anyway he went to America and learned English and is now a translator/helper for a big koi farmer. In my head I call this guy Mr. Adorable even though I do know his real name. So you know how people sometimes ask “do you believe in love at first sight?” Yes. Yes I do. This guy is that. I fell so hard for this kid.

Noir was currently around, leaning against a wall as he sensed a presence. He looked over and saw a female, he didn’t quite recognize her. He proceeded to walk over to her, keeping his senses up in case. “Hello. If I may ask, who are you?”
