Who Are You Texting?
So whenever my mom sees me using my phone, she will ask me who I’m texting. Most of the time I’m not texting (I don’t have that many friends), but if I am texting I’ll tell her who I’m texting and if I’m not texting I’ll tell her I’m looking at something. However, this happened the other day:
Mom: Who are you texting?
Me: Um, this is a calculator.
Mind you my calculator is well over twice the size of my phone and had a big USB cord connected to it because I was charging it.

My “Questionable” Thing
So somehow I got to talking to my parents about boys watching porn or not wanting other people to look at their electronic devices. I said the only questionable or embarrassing thing you would find on my computer or phone is a ridiculous amount of kpop. My dad jokingly said that kpop is my porn or whatever. Well, I do watch kpop videos and videos from a Korean dance studio, which has many videos of beautiful boys dancing to sexy or cute or badass songs. Those boys are a blessing to my eyeballs, I tell you...
But yeah, no porn for me just pretty Asian dudes dancing around and maybe singing.

Questionable Things on People’s Computers
So some of my university friends were at my house and Bunny boy needed to do homework so Noodle boy said he could use his computer. Bunny boy did have his own computer and said he didn’t think it was respectful/okay to use other people’s computers. Especially boy’s computers, because they have stuff on them XD. Oh Bunny boy you make me laugh...

That is How to Be Cool
So the other day I walked downstairs to talk to the RAs and one of my friends was there too. When I walked up, my friend said “you look tired.” I just replied with “yeah.” He looked at me for a second and said “usually when you say someone looks tired, they go into detail about why they are tired. You just said ‘yeah.’ That is how you become cool.”
To be honest there were just a lot of things and I was too tired to think well. Anyway, now I know how to be cool XD

Too Tall
So yesterday I was walking down the street with my friend who is a pretty average sized dude, which means he is taller than me. We are talking and suddenly there is a loud clang because my friend had hit his head on a low street sign. Seeing that he was fine, I started laughing my head off for probably a good minute. He was too tall that day.

Kitchen Door
So in my dorm there is a kitchen on every floor and to open it you have to put your card on the scanner thing and then the bolt keeping the door locked/closed retracts so you can open the door. At some point I either had my hands full or just didn’t want to touch the door, so I kicked it open once I unlocked it. Now I kick the door open every time I open it. I always make sure to check there is no one in there before I kick it and if there is someone in there I just push the door open, but otherwise I’m kicking it open. It’s really fun and I bet everyone who sees me is like “what the hell is that girl doing?”

Arm Hair
I have really hairy arms, especially for a girl. My hair is kinda blond brown so it’s not super noticeable, but I still have a lot of hair on my arms. Like more hair than there is on my legs. It’s almost winter so I’ll be wearing long sleeves mostly, but I’m just kinda confused by the arm hair. I guess it must be some hairy ancestry or something.

Being Weird
So my school has events every Friday in an effort to entertain kids and keep them from drinking. I just like the events and it keeps me from getting bored so I’m happy. One of the guys in my hall has a group of friends he goes to these things with so I tag along with them. It’s a group of 12 people so there is always a pretty good group to go with. Anyway, sometimes at these events I do weird stuff because I just don’t care what people think and I think it’s funny/entertaining. A couple weeks ago I was at an event and they were giving out balloons towards the end so I got one because I like balloons. One of my friends suggested I tie the balloon to one of my braids so I did that and the balloon made my braid float a little. After we discovered that, we got more balloons until there were four on each braid. Proceeded to walk around like that for the rest of the night. The next time was when I got bored so I started balancing my water bottle on my head. This is something I do when I get bored, so I’m rather good at it. I walked around and could turn or walk up stairs and generally move around with this water bottle on my head. Did this for well over an hour and when we were leaving my friends got the brilliant idea to try shooting the water bottle off my head with nerf guns (many of the kids had them with them...it’s a long story). So we did that outside the dining hall for a bit before walking back to our dorms. And lastly, last night I was wearing the yukata I got in Japan for a Halloween event and that event had roller skating so I went roller skating. In a yukata. It was strange but also hilarious and amazing. Roller skating was great.

Sleep Clothes
So I was talking to a Chinese boy from down the hall and he asked me "do you have any sleep clothes?" Yes, yes I do. And you have seen me in them. Probably everyone in this building has. Can't be bothered to wear real clothes on the weekends or evenings and I walk around the dorm a lot.

Y U Lookin’ At Me?
So it’s the smack dab middle of the term and this week is trying to kill me. I’m really tired but trying to stay up to get stuff done. May or may not have mentioned this before, but I live next to the laundry room so random people from all over the dorm will be in my hall doing their laundry or hanging out waiting for their laundry. So I’m in my pajamas and looking like half my soul has left my body and wander out into the hall to stare at the washing machines or something. As I walk past the hall lounge, I see two international students sitting at one of the tables. One of the kids is kinda looking at me. Like dude you are cute but I look like a midterm zombie so maybe don't let this be your impression of me? Anyway, I go back into my room and grab my water bottle to go refill it. I flop my way out the door, lanyard and keychains clanking awkwardly at 12:30 at night. On my way back I see this guy is still kind of looking at me. Only got a short glace at him, but he seemed to be smiling a little or something like "this girl looks exhausted but also fluffy" (idk I wear dorky pajamas). Maybe my tried eyes playing tricks on me. Either way, I decide to smile back a little because generally international students like that and what else am I supposed to do when this guy is looking at me? Smiling awkwardly is a good way to get people to excuse your strange behavior, like wandering around the hall aimlessly at random hours of the day and night.

Lovely Pumpkin
My mom gave me a pumpkin for Halloween and I took it out into the lounge for my wing and showed it to some of my friends there. One of the guys from down the hall thought the pumpkin was the most beautiful pumpkin he had eve seen. He said “if this pumpkin was a person, I would have sex with it” and proceeded to ask others if they felt the same way. He even asked our RA, who said no. However, the RA did hold my pumpkin for a while.

My Mom is Interesting...
So I went home this weekend and because it’s Halloween and we have a farm, we grow pumpkins. Every year, my mom carves my sister and my names into pumpkins so they scar over and last for a long time. My sister and I are both in college now so she literally gave me a pumpkin. I wasn’t sure what to do with a pumpkin in my dorm room, but eventually I did agree to take it and now have a pretty big pumpkin in my room. People really like it and think my mom is crazy and amazing.

Two Kinds of People
So I have two friends who I haven’t seen in a while and I recently got Snapchat and added them. One sends me these cute pictures with stickers and random comments. The other carries a conversation while sending me stupid and unflattering pictures of herself. Guess which one is my best friend? ;P

Drinking Policy
So my college has a pretty strict drinking policy. You have to drink in your room or completely off campus, you can’t smell like alcohol in the halls, and you can’t drink in front of someone who is underage. Earlier in the night the RAs in my hall had to write up 15-20 Chinese kids for having beer in the lounge.
So later in the night there were some Chinese kids being a little loud on the bottom floor (front desk is there with the RAs) and one of the RAs said “do you think they are drunk?” then the other RA, the RA for my hall, just says “I didn’t see anything.” Basically he was just lazy and didn’t care. He’s a pretty cool RA.
BONUS: There is a floor meeting and my RA is literally telling everyone not to come so he doesn’t have to do it XD

Bored at the Front Desk
So on weekends the RAs in my dorm have to stay at the front desk from 8pm to 2am. They often get super bored and just want to sleep. One of the RAs said there was an Xbox so we found it and set it up on the front desk. The RAs can’t leave so they couldn’t plug it into one of the TVs in the lounges so I said I had an extra monitor for my computer and asked my RA (he was on duty) if he wanted me to get it. He gave me a little nod so I went and got it. Another guy from my hall got an HDMI cable from his roommate and we managed to get the Xbox working and my RA and the guy from my floor played some Halo. They got me to play a bit too but I never really played video games so I didn’t do much.
Pretty sure I won best resident for yesterday :D
