Chapter Thirty-One: Being in London for the season does provide this (dis)advantage for Elizabeth - she gets to see firsthand how Miss Bingley and Mrs Hurst act among their friends. If nothing else, at least Elizabeth is entertained. Because she has some serious reflecting to do after the ball, and that dance with Mr Darcy. They might be married, but they agreed to no romantic expectations, and suddenly she doesn't at all understand how her husband is making her feel...
