Killer Moth is a fascinating character who should really be used way more often. He's the rip-off Batman, a criminal who decided to try and be the evil version of Batman. A Mothcave, a Mothmobile, presumably a utility belt and maybe even a moth equivalent of batarangs. Drury Walker was a great character, and I don't think we need him to be a complete C-Lister now. And besides that, I like the C-List villians. They're often some of the best villians in comics. Like Daredevil and Stilt-Man. Stilt-Man is so bizarre. But is be entertaining? Incredibly so.

For the Halloween theme Mind Control + Cute, I have a new AU with a Moth Mutant Reader!!!

In this au, Reader, at age twelve, had their mutation come in after a stressful event, which in turn led their family to abandon them, and letting the government take them. Reader would be locked up and experimented on for thr next two to three years, with their mutations only growing stronger...

They're a gentle soul, soft, kind, emotional. They don't want to hurt anyone, or make them upset, or get yelled at. But being here, in this cold, sterile place, drives fear deep into their soul. They're scared for their life, and for those who are dragged in (some to never leave). It wouldn't be so bad if Reader didn't seem to cause everyone who's near them to get all weird.

By weird, they mean... blown wide pupils... an odd tone or way of acting... and seemingly doing anything to keep Reader calm, or themselves calm. It's... it's like something out of a horror movie.

It gets worse with each year, each new experiment on some poor mutant or some dumb assistant or mean guard, each falling prey to whatever is wrong with Reader. And Reader can only cry, curling in on themself, praying that they don't have to live like this...

It changes when a few new mutants are dragged into their wing of the cells, locked behind doors so they can't see them, but where they can hear them. Reader tries to be sneaky as they can be, warning them about getting too close, to never enter their cell, if they're near Reader, no matter what happens to them, they can't help Reader or intervene, that if they get the chance to run, they need to take it and not look back. That leads the new mutants to asking how long they've been there, how old they are, do they know what their mutation is...

They spend a few weeks like that, getting to know the teen and the man who ended up in this h*ll with them. They're nice enough people, fighters, strategists, they're clever. Reader just hopes they survive, even if it's over Reader themself...

One day, an experent is held, and Reader... gets to see the two for the first time. And they're so, so sorry. These people don't need to worry about them, they don't need to get attached, it's dangerous-!

But it feels nice, to have someone smile at them, to have a face to their names and personalities. It makes Reader feel like a person, not just a petal in the wind. It makes them feel better.

Except... the experiments continue. Soon the painful ones come, where the guards will tear at Reader's wings, hit at their head, try to get them to scream... and then one of the others is dragged in... and Reader sees the change almost instantly over them. They look away, trembling, crying silently, just wanting to disappear...

But this time, it's just gentle hands wrapping around them, someone hugging them to their chest, and promising their family will come for all of them... and for once... Reader decides to believe them...

The older one is able to explain Reader's curse: it isn't a curse, it's just an unseen mutation, the ability to release pheromones. It's... an odd ability, but it's nice to at least have a name to it now. It's hard not to like these people, the ones who are so nice, who act gentle towards them, who ask how they are, who promise to take Reader with them...

Huh. Who knew they'd be able to keep their promise?

I personally think that if you put Ant-Man into the DC universe as a villain (without the powers and such) and didn’t say anything about it, nobody would notice except for the people that are obsessed with the comics

it’s honestly such a struggle finding peoples’ spider-man interpretations/spidersona universes that aren’t JUST their sonas on art fight… like i love their sonas but i wanna see some alternate universe rogues or side characters!!
