Introduction to Orange Spa and the Moroccan Bath experience
Orange Spa is a luxurious oasis of relaxation located near the famous Mall of the Emirates in Dubai. It offers a range of rejuvenating treatments and experiences, but one that truly stands out is the Moroccan Bath The Moroccan Bath, also known as "Hammam", has been used for centuries as a traditional cleansing ritual in Morocco. The bath not only cleanses and exfoliates the skin but also aims to purify the mind and soul. At Orange Spa, you can experience this ancient tradition in all its glory with a modern twist.

The Benefits of a Moroccan Bath
The Moroccan bath, also known as hammam, is a traditional bathing ritual that has been passed down through generations in Morocco. It is not only a cleansing and purifying experience for the body, but it also holds many health benefits for both the mind and soul. At Orange Spa, we invite you to experience the luxurious Moroccan bath near Mall of the Emirates and discover its ultimate relaxation benefits.
1. Deep Cleansing:
One of the main benefits of a Moroccan bath is its ability to deeply cleanse the skin. The steam and heat from the hot water help open up pores, allowing dirt, toxins, and impurities to be removed effectively. This results in glowing and radiant skin that feels smooth and rejuvenated.
2. Exfoliation:
During a Moroccan bath, an exfoliating scrub made from natural ingredients such as olive oil and organ oil is used to remove dead skin cells and reveal fresh new skin underneath. This process not only improves skin texture but also promotes healthy blood circulation.
3. Relaxation:
Incorporating elements of aromatherapy, a Moroccan bath offers an unparalleled level of relaxation for both your body and mind. The warm steam combined with essential oils creates a soothing atmosphere that helps reduce stress levels while promoting mental clarity.
4. Detoxification:
As mentioned earlier, the heat from a Moroccan bath opens up pores which allows toxins to be eliminated from your body through sweating. This detoxification process can improve overall health by boosting your immune system and reducing inflammation.
we are waiting for your visit in the best health place in Dubai.

What Is It Like in a *Posh* Moroccan Hammam? 🫧

When I say "posh," I mean upmarket hammams in a wealthy residential areas, not hammams in hotels. This post is about authentic hammams used by wealthy Moroccans, not ones aimed at tourists.
Decor
One of the first things you'll notice in upmarket hammams is that the decor is far more elaborate than in basic hammams. Decor will of course vary from place to place, but to use the example of the hammam next to my great-aunt's place in Casablanca I always make sure to go to:
The walls in both the main washroom and the sauna room are made out of blue and white marble in a traditional zellige pattern. There are also ornate sinks jutting out of the walls also of blue and white marble, whereas in basic hammams there will just be faucets. The sauna has long benches made of marble across the length of each side of the room, and the massage tables are slabs of heated light grey marble.
Regardless of the individual decor choices of each hammam, each building will always be spacious, with high ceilings and curved arches.
Ambience
Upmarket hammams feel luxurious, but understated, focusing on relaxation and subtle elegance rather than opulence and "wowing" people.
The lighting will normally be natural, but if artificial lighting is used it will be subtle and non-intrusive. Whereas in basic hammams it will be bright and practical, and in tourist hammams it will be dim with lighting coming from lanterns and candles (ambient, but not practical for visibility).
Although some may have private areas, authentic hammams in wealthy areas will generally follow the tradition of communal bathing.
As they are located in residential areas rather than tourist hotspots, and as they are a lot larger than basic hammams, they don't feel overcrowded and the experience is more intimate.
Services Offered
Upmarket hammams offer more services than basic hammams, but unlike tourist hammams, all the services are based in authentic Moroccan traditions, whereas in hotels the hammams offer a blend of the basic Moroccan services (sauna, sabon beldi, etc) and services similar to what you'd find in Western spas.
Authentic services you will find in upmarket Moroccan hammams include:
The usual sauna, cleansing with sabon beldi, deep exfoliation and ghassoul clay masks you'll find in every hammam in the country
Massages with argan oil, ghassoul clay, jasmine oil, amber oil, olive oil, honey, or herbal compresses
Herbal steam baths with tabrima, eucalyptus, lavender or mint
Rosewater and orange blossom water rinses
Henna treatments (it's not just used for temporary tattoos but has benefits for the skin and hair)
Facials with products like argan oil, sweet almond oil, honey, and saffron
Foot baths with herbs, oils, and/or milk
(Services will depend on each individual hammam)
The treatments are all high quality by staff who really work for their money. The attendants will scrub off absolutely every bit of dead skin on your body, and I have honestly never been as thoroughly massaged as I have been in these hammams.
Relaxation Lounge
In basic hammams, you just put your clothes on and leave after adjusting to room temperature, but in upmarket ones, you relax in the hammam after towelling off.
After you're dressed, the staff will lead you to another room. To use the hammam local to my great aunt as an example again, the relaxation lounge in this one:
Is full of white chaise longues, one facing another so that you can chat with your companion. They each have a low table in between them, on which a staff member will put down a silver tray, which will have a lit candle which will also have ghassoul clay integrated into it. There will also be glycerin preserved rose petals scattered on the tray, and of course refreshments - a bottle of cold water (much needed after all the heat and steam) and refreshing peppermint tea in a floral cup and matching saucer.
In other upmarket hammams they might have leather couches or armchairs instead of chaise loungues, regular candles without the clay, and Moroccan mint tea instead of peppermint herbal tea, but they'll all follow the same format.
Would I Recommend Trying One of These Hammams?
If you want a luxurious but 100% authentic hammam experience, absolutely! Although hotel hammams are surely fun with their swimming pools, etc, if you want to really experience true Moroccan culture and feel classy while you do it, I'd recommend finding one in a middle or upper class residential area.
They're also inexpensive if you're on Western wages - the one I described in the post is €4 for entry and €15 for a massage, and pretty much all similar hammams will be in that general wheelhouse. Whereas I have no doubt that the ones in hotels are way more expensive - the tourist price vs the local price.
Tips For Going to Authentic Hammams
Whereas in hotels the staff will speak multiple languages, in ones the locals use usually they'll know just Darija and French, maybe basic English but there's no guarantee. If you know French it will be fine, but if not get a Moroccan friend to accompany you.
Shave before going. The attendants will only exfoliate you if your skin is hairless, as the kessa glove can more effectively remove dead skin and impurities without hair in the way, and with smooth skin there's no chance of the rough gloves tugging on your hair and causing your skin to become irritated. The subsequent skincare products applied to your body will also be easier to apply evenly and will be better absorbed. If you haven't shaved beforehand they'll just give you a razor.
You can buy toiletries like soaps and towels, but it's also acceptable to bring your own.
Don't be afraid to get naked. Moroccan women strip down to their panties. Nobody will look at you, everyone is concentrating on bathing (wearing your bra or swimsuit is honestly more likely to bring attention to you than going topless as that's how people will know you're a tourist). You'll see many different body types and all ages in the hammam, so don't worry about being judged if you have stretch marks, extra weight, etc
Men and women bathe in separate areas or buildings, so don't worry about the opposite sex seeing you. You might occasionally see a mother taking her young son with her (as in, toddler age), but never older boys and men.
You can talk and laugh, but don't shout or giggle loudly or anything. It's meant to be a relaxing experience for everyone, and as the rooms are so spacious, loud noises will carry across them.
The massages are really thorough, so be prepared. I've been massaged everywhere from the insides of my ears to my privates in these hammams. If you have anywhere you'd rather they don't touch, communicate it with the massage therapist before getting your massage done, as the norm is to massage literally everywhere.

HLAW: Day 5—Hana(ra)’s Perfect Wedding!
Like several members of the fandom, I too ship Hana and Kiara together, and though I have yet to write the fic where they fall in love, I’ve long since come up list of head canons about their wedding. I originally meant to share this for Kiara’s first appreciation week, but I wasn’t able to finish on time. Fortunately, one of the benefits to being a Hanara shipper is that their romantic content can work for both characters’ weeks! 😆
Tagging @hanaleeappreciationweek and the stupendous hosts @lizzybeth1986 and @sazanes!
~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~

This moodboard was designed to reflect the Pinboard that Hana would 100% make for her wedding to Kiara given the numerous ones she’s crafted in canon.
Bridal Ring Sets

The ring on the left is the one Hana chooses for Kiara; I initially searched for a ring similar to Hana's ring for MC in canon but didn't want a one-to-one match, and then I diverged further by selecting one with a vine design to reference Castelsareillan (aka Rowan’s tattoos which I head canon were tribal in nature and design). The side stones are diamonds since they’re both the ducal stone and Kiki’s birthstone, but Hana went with moissanite for the central stone since it's not as hard and refracts more multi-colored light, representing how there's more to Kiara than what the surface may show and that she is a lot more kind and sweet and thoughtful than her tough facade leads people to expect.
For the ring Kiara gives to Hana*, resetting a family heirloom is very popular in France, especially with traditional affluent families. The ruby was originally from her late maternal grandmother’s engagement ring, and Kiara had it reset in a rose gold band to match her own since Hana proposed first. Due to the canonical Cordonian tradition of lovers throwing a copper, a silver, and a gold coin into a well to guarantee that they stay together for eternity, I head canon that rose gold—which is made of those three metals—is a popular choice in Cordonia for engagement/anniversary jewelry. The wedding band is inlaid with opals since they're the ducal stone of Hana’s duchy, Chrysopolis.
*I was also partly inspired by @masked-alien-lesbian’s beautiful pick to find a more floral design than my original choice, and when I found one with embellishments that mirrored butterflies as well, I knew it was the one.
Bridal Party
In Chinese numerology, 8 is considered one of the most auspicious numbers, with 2, 3, and 6 also being lucky in general. As such, the bridal party is a total of 6 people (3 for each side) who combined with the 2 brides equal 8 in total.
Hana's Bridesmaids: Ally (MOH), Olivia, and Ganga
In my version of events, Olivia actually does offer a genuine apology to Hana in the beer garden scene at the end of TRR2, and so by the time Hana’s planning her wedding, the two have grown close enough for her to ask Liv to be her bridesmaid.
The name Ganga may be familiar to anyone who read Hana’s character page, as she’s one of Hana’s second cousins on her mother’s side. They meet and bond over the course of my reimagined TRH series Silver Spoons.
Kiara's Témoins: Penelope (MOH), Zeke, and Savannah
Instead of bridesmaids and groomsmen, French couples have témoins (witnesses) of any gender/age that stand next to them during the ceremonies. While Penelope is still courteously given the MOH title, Ally is the one who provides the most support in regard to the planning/corralling.
Wedding
Following Moroccan and Chinese traditions, the wedding celebration is several days long. I also head canon that many western regions of Cordonia outside of the five major duchies have three-day-length celebrations, including the regality from which Hana’s maternal family hails. The negafa (wedding planner) is Kiki’s paternal aunt Leïla, who is assisted by Hana’s own aunt Yawen.
Day 1: Castelsareillan
Hammam
In Morocco on the first day of a wedding celebration, the bride spends a day in the hammam (a type of steam bath or place of public bathing akin to a spa) with her companions, treating themselves with multiple body masks, scrubs, and massages as part of a bridal ritual of purification and beauty. Hanara chooses the baths and spa in Applewood visited in TRR2 and attend with their bridal party sans Zeke.
Bachelorette Party
Their joint party is thrown in Côte d'Or, the Cordonian gambling district visited in RoE which in my verse is located in one of Castelsareillan’s vassalages off the coast. Aside from the standard night on the town events, Ally also arranges a series of chuangmen (Chinese door games) for the couple to play: an alcoholic version of the Four Flavors of Life, Q&A Tests, and a Sweet Serenade karaoke session.
The theme is a rainbow, with everyone wearing a different colored dress: Ally in red, Ganga in orange, Kiara in yellow gold, Olivia in green, Penelope in blue, Savannah in purple, and Hana in pink. All of the bridesmaids wear the same cap-sleeved sequined style, while the brides’ outfits are pictured below:

Day 2: Samsara
Henna Party
Both Morocco and India have wedding traditions involving decorating the bride’s hands and feet with henna (mehndi being the South Asian term for the body art itself). Lorelai’s cousin Aparna offers her estate in Samsara (a western regality in Cordonia) as the venue, and the party is a long affair filled with food and music.
Hana wears a pink sari while Kiki dons a green kaftan. Since the brides plan to walk down the aisle the next day, they’re carried to their seats in the amaria (an elegant roofed platform) by four men: Zeke, Drake, Bertrand, and the male cousin Kiara mentions in TRR3 who I named Patrice and head canon is Joëlle’s nephew.
Having forgone a wedding shower, the brides open their gifts during the party, some of which revolve around the traditional “something old” rhyme (with the givers corresponding to whose side they walk on):
Something Old: received during the tea ceremony
Something New: white lotus hair stick (Ally), silver and onyx Berber necklace (Zeke)
Something Borrowed: Scarlet Handkerchief (Liv), Golden Tiara* (Penelope)
Something Blue: garter set (Savannah), nagapadam mala (Ganga)
*The Golden Tiara is the House treasure that was granted to the Amaranth’s when they were elevated in 1600 C.E. It was rumored that while donned, the makeup of any who wore it would remain flawless.
Rehearsal Dinner
The ribbons and bows from unwrapping the gifts are turned into two giant bouquets that the brides use for the following wedding rehearsal in place of the garlands they’ll be using for the real ceremony. They also incorporate some elements of the nischayam, an Indian Malayalee engagement ceremony generally held to formally announce the marriage, which includes exchanging horoscopes as well as the mothiram maattal (ring exchange). Since pigs are favored animals in Chinese culture, Kiara’s pet teacup pig Tambour acts as the ring bearer. At the end of the rehearsal dinner, the couple signs their marriage license following both French and Moroccan tradition (the latter of which call this ceremony Drib Sdak).
Day 3: Chrysopolis
Shutou & Jing Cha
The morning of the third and final wedding day begins in Hana’s manor in Chrysopolis with the Chinese shutou or hair combing ceremony performed by their mothers Lorelai and Joëlle. Immediately afterwards, the two change into their traditional formal wear (Hana in a qungua and Kiara in a takshita) before heading downstairs for the jing cha or tea ceremony, where their aunts have built an ancestral altar for the occasion.
The ceremony is done with both families at the same time, and in return for the tea that the couple offer, their families offer them golden jewelry and red envelopes filled with money called hongbao. They also receive from their fathers the “something old” gift that’s been passed down by their late grandmothers: a set of golden phoenix & dragon bangles for Hana and silver Berber bracelets for Kiara.
Vow Exchange
The exchanging of vows takes place outside in the sunflower garden. Kiki’s four-year-old cousin mentioned in TRH2 serves as the flower girl, and the bridal party are all dressed in a reddish mulberry and adorned with golden jewelry*. The brides change into their white outfits (Hana wearing the same dress as in canon and a veil, while Kiara dons a jumpsuit with a cape) and walk down the T-shaped aisle on the arms of their fathers to meet each other.
Hakim place Kiara’s hand in Hana’s and Xinghai hands them a pair of scissors before leaving the two to continue their march together. In a slightly altered French tradition, they must cut through the rows of white ribbons stretched across the aisle to reach the dais, where they exchange a set of garlands made from roses, fire lilies, jasmine, sunflowers, and Vescovi (magic) flowers in the Hindi jayamala ceremony, a pledge which substitutes their “I Do’s.”
Liam acts as the officiant and joins the couple’s hands together following the Agni Hito tradition of using a red string to represent their fates being bound. He hands them each a lambatha (Greek taper candle) to hold as the brides recite their individual customized vows to one another. They then use the lambathes to light a brazier filled with Heartoak wood which is placed before them.
This functions as the sacred fire for the saat phere, a Hindu wedding ritual continued by the Agni Hito where the couple walks around the fire seven times while reciting specific vows. Each circuit holds a certain meaning. Once the seventh one has been completed, Liam pronounces the two wives, and butterflies are released as they share their first kiss as a married couple.
*One of the bridal party’s statement pieces is a golden pin in the design of Hanara’s onnamon, pictured below. Mon are Japanese emblems that function similar to heraldic charges, and onnamon specifically are created by women after marriage through modifying her original family kamon. The Agni Hito, being of Japanese lineage, continued to use them within Cordonia. After becoming the Duchess of Chrysopolis, Hana adopted a new mon by turning her mother’s kamon/charge (the cherry blossom) into a butterfly-shape.

Reception
The rice toss is performed while the newlyweds exit down the aisle before everyone heads inside, where the vin d’honour (the French equivalent of a cocktail hour) is held. Kir Royale cocktails made with Cristal champagne and chocolate-coated almonds called les dragées are served, and both mahjong and mancala are played. Once all of the ~200 attendees have been greeted, they drive to the banquet hall with a liberal use of horns preceding the “just married” limo.
Each guest upon their arrival signs the livre des visiteurs (guestbook), delivers their hongbao, touches a set of oranges for good luck, and washes their hands in the orange blossom water. Ouzo and Moroccan mint tea are offered until everyone has been seated for the grand entrance, where under a shower of petals and sparklers, the newlyweds perform a TRR 2.0 Olivia-style change into their reception dresses pictured below (Hana on the left and Kiara on the right):

Thanks to @lizzybeth1986 for sharing the tumblr post with these lovely designs!
They step onto the floor with their fathers for the first dance, which they finish as a couple following French tradition. The song is one that Hana composed titled Le jardin de l'amour and performed by Kaitlyn Liao. The feast itself is a ten-course affair that contains a vast variety of cultural dishes, including drunken shrimp, butter chicken, Peking duck, pork jiaozi, tangine, bird’s nest soup, and seffa. Maxwell serves as the emcee, and toasts are given in between the various acts.
Friends provide most of the entertainment, including a ballad sung by the Cordonian Quartet, but there are also lion dancers and firecrackers following Chinese tradition. Halfway through, the couple changes into their final outfits for the night (a red qipao for Hana and a kaftan jumpsuit for Kiara). Once the last course has been served, the croquembouche (a French dessert that serves as the wedding cake) is wheeled out along with a Cordonian Ruby for the apple-cutting ceremony.
After feeding each other a slice of both, the dancing begins. The party lasts long into the night, but just before the newlyweds retire for the evening, they take part in another French tradition: eating a dish from a brand new pot de chambre (chamber pot). The bottom is lined by bananas and covered with melted chocolate before the leftover alcohol from the wedding is poured in. After the couple’s takes a drink and eats a spoonful of the gooey contents, the rest is left to be finished off by the bridal party.
Honeymoon
Lorelai’s wedding gift is the most expensive home in China, and it is here in Shanghai where Hana and Kiara spend the first week of their honeymoon, which ends with the Mid-Autumn Festival. The second week is spent in Tours, France where they go cycling and visit the famous châteaus before returning to Cordonia just in time for the Last Apple Ball.

5-Day Morocco Itinerary: A Journey Through Culture, History, and Natural Wonders

Morocco, a land where vibrant cultures, stunning landscapes, and ancient traditions collide, offers one of the most diverse and enriching travel experiences. Whether you’re an adventurer, history buff, or cultural enthusiast, this 5-day Morocco itinerary will take you through the heart of the country, showcasing its rich history, captivating cities, and natural wonders. From the bustling streets of Casablanca to the golden dunes of the Sahara Desert, this journey will leave you with lasting memories.
Here’s your ultimate 5-day itinerary to explore Morocco, from Casablanca to Marrakech, with everything you need to know to make the most of your Moroccan adventure with Morocco Tourism Agency.
Day 1: Arrival in Casablanca, Visit Rabat & Head to Fes
Your Moroccan adventure begins when you land at Mohammed V International Airport in Casablanca, Morocco’s largest city. Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted by your private driver-guide, ready to guide you through an unforgettable experience.
Start your journey with a visit to Hassan II Mosque, one of the most iconic landmarks in Morocco. As the second-largest mosque in Africa and the seventh-largest in the world, it stands majestically against the backdrop of the Atlantic Ocean. The mosque’s stunning architecture is a mix of Islamic and Moroccan styles, and its 210-meter-high minaret is a true feat of engineering. Non-Muslims can explore the mosque’s exterior and the surrounding grounds, which offer breathtaking views of the ocean.
After exploring the mosque, head to Rabat, the capital city of Morocco, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Situated along the Atlantic coast, Rabat is a mix of ancient history and modernity, offering visitors the best of both worlds. Begin your tour of the city at the Kasbah of the Udayas, a picturesque fortress with stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean. Then, visit the Royal Mausoleum, which houses the tombs of the Moroccan royal family, including King Mohammed V. Nearby, the Hassan Tower stands as a symbol of the city’s historical importance and its Islamic heritage.
After a day of exploring Rabat’s historical sites, continue your journey toward Fes, one of Morocco’s most renowned cultural hubs. Check in to your riad, a traditional Moroccan guesthouse in the heart of the Medina. This peaceful oasis will provide a restful night as you prepare for the adventures of the following day.
Day 2: Fes, Ifrane, Cedar Forest, Midelt, Ziz Valley, Sahara Desert
On day two of your Morocco itinerary, depart from Fes to discover Morocco’s stunning landscapes. Your first stop is Ifrane, a charming town often referred to as the “Switzerland of Morocco” due to its Alpine-style architecture and lush, green surroundings. Ifrane offers a refreshing change of scenery, with cool temperatures and beautiful parks and gardens.
From Ifrane, continue your journey to the nearby Cedar Forest, home to the famous Barbary macaques. Take a stroll through the forest, where you can observe these playful monkeys in their natural habitat. The tranquil atmosphere of the forest makes for a relaxing break during your journey.
Next, head to Midelt, a town known for its apple orchards, where you can stop for a quick break and enjoy the picturesque scenery. Afterward, continue your journey to the Ziz Valley, renowned for its sprawling palm groves and dramatic gorges. The views of the valley, with its vibrant green oasis against the backdrop of rugged desert landscapes, are breathtaking.
As the day draws to a close, arrive at the Sahara Desert. Here, you will embark on a camel ride through the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi, one of the largest and most impressive sand dunes in the world. Watch the sunset over the desert, as the sky changes colors and the dunes are bathed in golden light. Your evening will be spent at a traditional Berber camp, where you will enjoy a delicious Moroccan dinner and be entertained by local music under a starry sky.
Day 3: Sahara Desert, Khamlia Village, Nomads, Meffis Mountain
The third day of your journey begins early with a sunrise camel ride in the Sahara Desert. Witnessing the first light of day illuminating the vast desert is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. After breakfast, head to Khamlia Village, a small village known for its rich Gnawa music, which blends African, Arab, and Berber influences. The villagers will treat you to a live performance, allowing you to experience the cultural heritage of this remote desert community.
Next, visit the nomadic Berber tribes who call the desert home. These tribes live in the Sahara’s harsh conditions, relying on traditional methods to survive and thrive. Spend time with these families, learning about their daily lives and customs. This visit offers a unique and authentic experience of desert life that few travelers get to witness.
In the afternoon, head to Meffis Mountain, where you will be rewarded with panoramic views of the desert landscape. The stunning mountain range, which contrasts with the endless sand dunes, provides the perfect backdrop for a memorable photo opportunity. During your visit, you’ll also have the chance to explore a nearby oasis and learn about traditional desert agriculture, where locals have harnessed the power of water in this arid environment.
Finish the day with a traditional Berber lunch at a local restaurant and relax at one of the luxurious hotels in the area. The combination of adventure and tranquility makes Meffis Mountain an ideal place to unwind.
Day 4: Sahara Desert, Rissani, Todgha Gorge, Dades Gorge
On day four, rise early to witness the sunrise over the dunes once more before leaving the Sahara behind. After breakfast, head to the town of Rissani, a historic market town known for its traditional souks and vibrant atmosphere. If you happen to be visiting on a market day (Sunday, Tuesday, or Thursday), you’ll experience the bustling activity of local merchants selling everything from spices to textiles.
From Rissani, continue your journey to the Todgha Gorge, a series of towering limestone canyons that rise to over 300 meters. The lush oasis that runs through the gorge provides a striking contrast to the dry, arid landscape surrounding it. The stunning beauty of Todgha Gorge makes it one of Morocco’s most photogenic spots.
In the afternoon, head to Dades Gorge, also known as the Valley of a Thousand Kasbahs. This scenic valley is dotted with ancient kasbahs and fortified villages, offering a glimpse into Morocco’s rich history and architectural heritage. The dramatic rock formations and winding river in Dades Gorge create a truly stunning landscape, perfect for exploration and relaxation.
Day 5: Dades Gorge, Kalaat M’Gouna, Ouarzazate, Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, Marrakech
On the final day of your Morocco journey, continue your exploration of Morocco’s breathtaking landscapes. Start the day by visiting Dades Gorge, where you’ll marvel at the dramatic rock formations and lush river valleys. Afterward, head to Kalaat M’Gouna, known as the “City of Roses,” where you’ll find fields of roses used to make rose water and essential oils. Take some time to explore the local markets and pick up unique souvenirs.
Next, visit Ouarzazate, often called the “Gateway to the Sahara.” This small town is home to the famous Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of Morocco’s most iconic landmarks. The kasbah, with its unique architecture made of clay and straw, has been featured in numerous films, including Gladiator and Game of Thrones. Explore the kasbah’s narrow streets and learn about its fascinating history.
Finally, end your journey in Marrakech, one of Morocco’s most vibrant and culturally rich cities. Take in the sights and sounds of the bustling medina, visit the historic Jemaa el-Fnaa square, and explore the beautiful Majorelle Garden.
Conclusion
Your 5-day Morocco itinerary will leave you with an unforgettable experience, rich in history, culture, and natural beauty. From the bustling cities to the peaceful desert, each stop on your journey offers something unique and extraordinary. Whether you’re interested in Morocco’s fascinating history, vibrant culture, or stunning landscapes, this itinerary provides a perfect introduction to the magic of Morocco.

Moroccan Spells for Beauty and Love ❤️🌹💋
Some of these are still practiced today, while others were practiced 100+ years ago. This post is for entertainment and educational purposes only. Although some spells are suitable for home use, most should not be attempted for both legal and health and safety reasons and are only included for historical interest. Post compiled mainly from Pratiques des Harems Marocains and Essai de Folklore Marocain.

Beauty
🌹Leave an agate stone in rosewater overnight and then pass it through incense smoke. Wear it as jewellery. This increases your natural charm and protects you from envy. To keep it charged, soak it in rosewater under the moonlight on the night of a full moon.
🌹To make your skin beautiful, light a white candle and mix 1 cup rosewater and 1 cup milk in a bowl, slowly stirring together. Add in a handful of rose petals if desired. Stand in the bath and pour over your body starting at the head and working downwards. As you pour, recite an incantation for however you want your skin to look (e.g brighter, smoother, more even, etc). Let it sit on your skin for a few minutes while visualising the skin you want, and then rinse off with warm water. You must let your skin air-dry. Repeat once a week.
🌹Soak 2-3 strands of saffron in warm water for 30 mins, letting it turn golden. Apply to your face and hands and say, "Ya Rab, bless me with beauty like the saffron's gold, radiant and glowing." Leave it to absorb and recite the Qur'an or say Bismallah. Do once a week.
🌹 To have a beautiful voice: eat a nightingale's heart
🌹 To always be beautiful in the eyes of the man you love, repeat the following incantation every morning while washing your face:
I greet you, oh washed face, Favour, charm comes to you Sent by Lalla Fatima, daughter of the Prophet May charm fall on you Like dewdrops fall on broad beans.
🌹 For your child to be born with beautiful eyes, pregnant women should look at a gazelle. Drink a glass of water above the head of the gazelle for your child to be born loveable and kind.
🌹For your child to have thick eyebrows and long eyelashes, put kohl on their eyelashes and eyebrows from their seventh day until their fortieth day. This also helps them see very clearly and never have sore eyes.
🌹To stop hair falling out and make it grow as long as branches, make offerings of candles to the carob tree of Lalla Quadfa and hang your fallen hairs in its branches (to cure headaches and neuralgia, hang amulets and charms written on paper from the tree).
🌹To prevent aging: Pound ginger, cloves, nutmeg from the Sahara, and galangal root. Add oil or honey. Take two spoonfuls every morning and every evening.
🌹 To reduce the size of the breasts (1): Get up early in the morning; rub the breasts with salt, which you then throw into the well. As the salt melts, the breasts will shrink.
🌹To reduce the size of the breasts (2): Strike your chest seven times with the slippers of a young unmarried man.
🌹To increase the size of the breasts: Rub the breasts with beans, which are then thrown into a well, saying:
O beans, when you swell,
They too will swell...
🌹 Invoke the jnun Lalla Malika and Lalla Mira to increase your beauty and charm
Singlehood
🌹A young woman, widow or divorcee who nobody wants to marry should wash her face and hands with the first water that comes out of a newly dug well. She will immediately find someone to marry.
🌹In Rabat, to help find a husband, women visit the hidden marriage well on the beach near the Udayas casbah. Mixing water from the well with rosewater helps to change a woman's luck in finding a husband. You should then light a candle for the djinn, as they can prevent people from getting married. Afterwards, leave old underwear behind for a symbolic change in sexual fortune. There is also a shrine to the local saint Sidi Abouri there, which you may also use as an intermediary through which to ask God to change your luck.
🌹In Marrakech, young girls who do not marry are taken to the tomb of Lalla Oum Biied Saad: Madam the mother of white luck. It is a small wall surrounding a square of land in the district of Assouel, near the zaouia of Sidi Bel Abbès. The young girls comb and wash themselves next to the tomb and throw into this small enclosure their comb, their fallen hair and a piece of cloth torn from their clothes; in addition, they make an offering of light to the saint on Friday. They also go on pilgrimage for the same purpose to Moulay Ibrahim, near Tahannaout. They spend three nights near his tomb and on the third night, the saint makes them see in a dream the face of their future husband.
🌹Remedy against singleness: The girl or woman who wishes to marry will cut, in her chemise, a strip of cloth to her height, from head to toe. She will cut it into seven pieces and will enclose in each a little of the powder of the seven "male spices" pounded together. At night, when no one else passes in the street, she will place the seven strands of cloth in a night light lit on the threshold of her door, and, seven times in a row, she will repeat:
O my husband! Come to my house.
So that she will not be long in being asked to marry.
🌹 Take an old mill rope and burn it on a Friday. At the hour when the muezzin sings, the single woman, in a hurry to get married, passes a little of the ashes of the rope, in the middle of her chin and forehead, saying:
Allah is the greatest!
Celibacy falls...
Someone came to the door. (The husband.)
She repeats this three times, on her terrace, remains standing there until a man of her house, - father or brother, - returns from the mosque, Then she asks him:
Have you prayed?
According to custom, he answers:
We have prayed. Allah will complete.
But, in her soul, she says quietly: It is he who comes who will complete... And she goes to wash her face.
🌹 Write a talisman wishing for a soulmate, and hide it in the foliage of an olive or argan tree.
🌹 Special ink for written love spells: Gently warm rosewater and pour it over a few saffron threads. Strain and add the liquid to existing ink or mix up your own with alcohol and gum arabica.
🌹Light a candle, mixing henna and rosewater in a bowl. Think of your lover or the person you want to attract. Using a thin stick, brush or other applicator, write their name on your body with the henna, and other symbols of love like their initials, hearts or roses. As you apply it, recite incantations for their love and loyalty to be bound to you. As it dries, think about your desires and the special someone. When it dries and begins to crack, gently wash it off, visualising your intentions being released into the universe. Do this ritual on a new moon for the effect to be strongest.
🌹 Write the name of the person who you want to attract on a piece of paper. Alongside it, write either the Surah Al-Fatiha or Surah Ya-sin. Fold it and place it in a glass of water, reciting the chosen Qur'anic verse seven times, thinking about your intention to draw love or strengthen your relationship. Leave the glass in a quiet, safe place overnight, and drink the water in the glass in the morning. Repeat every Thursday.
🌹To get married: take a dead white dove fledgling, wheat grains, barley and flour. Recite prayers over the ingredients and meditate. Wrap the ingredients in a small white cloth or white towel and bury the next day. You will begin to get proposals.
Brides, weddings and marriage
🌹 To split a couple: take a black powder such as charcoal dust, burned incense ashes, or sulfur, a root, and turquoise or green tourmaline broken into pieces. Place the powder and root into a fireproof bowl and light the ingredients. Read the Surah Al Fatifa in reverse. As the smoke carries through the air, imagine the couple breaking apart. After you finish burning them, bury them near their home or in a location significant to the couple or scatter them somewhere they're sure to pass, like their front door. Bury the turquoise too, crushing into powder if you want, or else put them in a small pouch and hide in their home. Repeat twice, "I am [your name]... Within this spell lies the power of [the name of the one you desire]." Do this on a Tuesday or when the moon is waning. Invoke Aisha Qandisha if you are a follower of her. Burn incense to cleanse negative energy afterwards, and perform a protective spell before. Use salt or burn rue to ward off negative energy.
🌹 To give the appearance of virginity to a bride deflorated before her wedding: Pound gallnuts, alum and the "mouth of a pomegranate". The matron sprinkles it on the bride, where appropriate. This remedy only works if she is still very young. For those who are nubile, there is no remedy.
🌹In order that the husband may always be in love, an amulet is made with seven dates, seven leaves of seven fruit trees and basil and sewn into a mattress. This will also bring abundance into the house. It is for the same reason that dates are thrown on the bride as she crosses the threshold of the wedding house. She is offered milk and her right heel is washed with it so that she may enter with wealth and abundance. Honey is put in her mouth so that she may be sweet to her husband. Yeast is put in her hand so that the good of her husband may prosper and increase.
🌹If on the first night of marriage, a taïmouma or black stone used for prayer and replacing the water of ritual ablutions is placed under the mattress of the bride and groom, their fate is linked to that of this stone, so that union will reign in the household, as long as the stone is whole.
🌹 Marriages must be consummated with the lights on, as the lights are a symbol of love and a happy life. The candles must not be extinguished; they are left to burn until the end so that the bride is always before her husband like a dazzling light.
🌹The visit of a sex worker to a young bride is a good omen; it means she will be loved. She must have her makeup, perfume and henna applied by the sex worker, for she has between her eyebrows seven magic flowers that affect love.
🌹 Autumn is the best time to get married, as due to her baraka (blessings), the bride will participate in the prosperity of the country by increasing the abundance of the harvest. The best day for consummating a marriage is Thursday; Sunday is also auspicious. The other days are all harmful and one only gets married on Thursdays and Sundays.
🌹 For the husband to remain faithful to his wife: When her husband is asleep, the wife places a lock of green silk on his lips. The next day, she has this lock buried in an old tomb of an unknown person.
🌹 Fidelity potion: Add a few drops of your urine to your lover's tea. Moroccan tea is typically made with large quantities of sugar and mint, easily disguising the few drops of urine that will ensure loyalty and docility. Just double check who gets which cup...
🌹To brink love back into a marriage, take pure musk, frankincense, mastic, sandarac, dragon's blood, myrrh of Abraham, incense, a dead hedgehog, a few bundles of feathers from a magpie or small bird of prey tied together with ribbon, and fenugreek seeds. Grind the resins and mix them together. Mix some of the fenugreek seeds into the mixture, saving some. Light the incense and wave the feathers through the smoke. Then wave the feathers over the other ingredients. Bury the hedgehog in front of the house or in the garden, as this defends the home from negative forces. Use the feathers to sprinkle the resin mixture around the home, in key areas like the doorway, near the bed, and on personal items belonging to your lover or that relate to your marriage (like wedding rings and photos). Anoint yourself with the musk (if desired you can also save some of the resin mixture to anoint yourself with too), and cook the fenugreek seeds in a meal you and your husband will eat. While you do this ritual, state your intention to remove blockages causing problems in the marriage, heal the relationship and bring love back to it. If you are a devotee of Lalla Mira you may invoke her.
🌹Moonfoam is highly prized in Moroccan witchcraft. As well as ensuring the fidelity of a husband or lover, it instills mad passion for whoever uses it, cures and prevents impotence, and repairs both male and female fertility. To make it, you must approach the cemetery gates on a new moon, strip naked, fill a basin or pitcher with water and place it under the moonlight, and mount an oleander branch, "galloping" around the cemetery seven times while chanting a special incantation (this incantation is a well kept secret, so you must either find an old wise witch to apprentice yourself to, or improvise). If you do this correctly, you will have attracted the attention of the moon's lunar guardians, and as you make your seventh circle around the cemetery, a lunar spirit will manifest and ask you to reveal your desire. You must tell her you want moonfoam. You will have to negotiate with her and make various offers, as she will be reluctant to give it to you. If you are successful, the moon will literally drop down into your water. Eventually the water will contain visible silver foam. Strain it off carefully, like oil from water or scum from soup. Take it home and reserve for future use.
🌹 To find or maintain true love, fill a small bag with earth from a three-way crossroads and wear it around your neck. This also wards off the evil eye.
🌹Love refreshing recipe, for a troubled relationship: take 6 red candles, rosemary, anise seeds, rosewater, black twine, a lump of rock salt and a nail. Place the candles in a circle in pairs in the bedroom, near the bed or a photo of the couple, with the rock salt in a bowl in the middle. Light the candles and state your intention for your love to be rekindled. Let the candles burn down as you sprinkle the herbs under the bed and near the doorway of the house. Sprinkle some rosewater on the bed linens. Use the twine to tie a knot around something that represents the couple like a photo, or to bind some objects belonging to each person together, and keep it somewhere safe like a bedside drawer. Drive the nail into the ground outside the doorway. Dissolve the rock salt in water and sprinkle it around the house to purify it.
🌹To bring back a cheating spouse, collect some of his clothes or semen and give them to a witch doctor (unfortunately there was no more information than this in my source, I would have liked to have found out what steps the witch doctor would take after receiving the artifacts)
🌹 Khamsa for love protection: Light frankincense incense and let the smell fill up the room, as this clears negative energy and wards off the evil eye. Take a small piece of paper, writing down the name of your partner or desired partner, along with a simple wish to protected, such as "bound by love, protected from harm." Fold the paper and wrap with a red ribbon. Take a khamsa charm (hand of Fatima) and pass it through the incense smoke three times, reciting an intention for love and protection. Place the paper in a hidden place somewhere close to you and your partner. Wear the khamsa or keep it in your home attached to the paper to protect your relationship. If you feel your relationship is in danger in the future, light the incense again and pass the khamsa through the smoke while reciting an incantation.
🌹To make your husband docile: Go to the cemetery at night, dig up a recently buried corpse, sit it on your knees and, taking its hands, make it knead a loaf of bread. As soon as the husband has eaten this bread, he will become, in his wife's arms, as docile as the dead.
Getting over heartbreak
🌹To forget an ex-boyfriend, wear trinkets and wear a skirt that allows smoke to flow up it (awakening sexual energy), then tap your ex on the shoulder. After you run away from him, wash with water that has been blessed or collected from a sacred site, and anoint yourself with copal resin. You will find a new man soon, which will help you forget the old one fast.
🌹Mix soil with saffron and rub it over your heart or third eye to unclog them from bad relationships.
🌹 Take wheat dust from the grinding of wheat, mix it with water and divide into two parts. Take care not to spill any; if you do you must find new wheat dust. Use one half to clean your house and dispose of it; take a bath with the other half. After the bath, bring a bouquet of fresh herbs and place in the middle of the house as an offering. This breaks curses, enchantments, and toxic relationships.

Moroccan bath
Stepping into a Moroccan bath, or hammam, is more than just a cleansing ritual; it's an immersive experience that transcends mere hygiene. The warm steam envelops you, inviting your body to unwind while the rich scents of argan oil and eucalyptus saturate the air. Traditionally, these baths serve as communal spaces where people gather not only for relaxation but also for social connection—a sanctuary where whispers and laughter echo off terracotta walls and intricate tile work.
The bathing process itself is layered with significance: first comes the ghassoul clay, lovingly applied to detoxify and hydrate your skin; followed by gentle scrubbing with a kessa glove that reveals fresh layers beneath. This duality of exfoliation—both physical and spiritual—allows the mind to clear while revitalizing the body. Each step offers an invitation to tune in to your senses: feel the warmth on your skin, hear the trickle of water, and absorb not just aromas but centuries of tradition woven into every element of this beautiful ritual. Embracing a Moroccan bath means entering a state where self-care becomes an art form rooted in culture and community—a perfect blend for anyone seeking peace amidst today's hustle.

Discover Hidden Gems: Unexplored Destinations Around the World
In an age where social media and travel vlogs dominate our screens, it might feel like every corner of the world has already been discovered. Yet, beyond the bustling cities and iconic landmarks, countless hidden gems await those who are willing to stray off the beaten path. These lesser-known destinations offer unique experiences, unspoiled landscapes, and the opportunity to create memories away from the crowds. Here, we uncover some of the world’s most enchanting yet unexplored destinations Travel and Tourism Companies in Dubai
1. Faroe Islands, Denmark
Nestled in the North Atlantic, the Faroe Islands are a dream destination for nature enthusiasts. This archipelago of 18 volcanic islands boasts dramatic cliffs, lush green valleys, and cascading waterfalls. Despite its breathtaking beauty, the Faroe Islands remain under the radar for most travelers. Hiking trails lead to picturesque villages like Gjógv and Saksun, while birdwatchers can marvel at puffins and other seabirds nesting along the cliffs.
For an unforgettable experience, visit during the summer months when the midnight sun bathes the islands in a golden glow. And don’t miss the chance to try traditional Faroese dishes like fermented lamb or fish.
2. Sapa, Vietnam
While Vietnam is famous for places like Hanoi and Halong Bay, Sapa offers a serene escape into the country’s mountainous north. This region is characterized by terraced rice fields, misty valleys, and the vibrant culture of ethnic minority groups like the Hmong and Dao.
Trek through the lush landscapes, visit traditional villages, and enjoy homestays to immerse yourself in local life. Sapa’s cooler climate also provides a refreshing break from Vietnam’s tropical heat. Whether you’re a trekker or a culture enthusiast, Sapa’s tranquil charm is sure to captivate you.
3. Valle de la Luna, Chile
Chile’s Atacama Desert is one of the driest places on Earth, but its surreal landscapes are anything but barren. Valle de la Luna, or Valley of the Moon, offers a Mars-like terrain with sand dunes, salt flats, and rugged rock formations sculpted by wind and time.
The area’s unique geography creates stunning sunsets that paint the desert in hues of red, orange, and pink. Stargazing in the Atacama is unparalleled, as the region boasts some of the clearest night skies in the world. This hidden gem is perfect for adventurers and photographers alike.
4. Gjirokastër, Albania
Albania’s charming town of Gjirokastër is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, yet it remains largely off the tourist radar. Known as the “City of Stone,” Gjirokastër features Ottoman-era architecture, cobbled streets, and a hilltop fortress offering panoramic views.
Visitors can explore traditional houses turned into museums, such as the Ethnographic Museum housed in the childhood home of Albania’s former leader, Enver Hoxha. The town’s laid-back atmosphere and authentic cuisine make it a delightful stop for those seeking a quieter European destination.
5. Rurrenabaque, Bolivia
For a raw and immersive Amazon experience, Rurrenabaque in Bolivia is an excellent choice. This small town serves as a gateway to the Madidi National Park and the Pampas, where travelers can embark on jungle treks and wildlife tours.
Spot pink river dolphins, capybaras, and a myriad of bird species in their natural habitats. Unlike the more popular Amazon destinations in Brazil, Rurrenabaque offers a more intimate and less commercialized adventure. Eco-tourism is at the heart of this destination, ensuring that your visit contributes to preserving its pristine environment.
6. Chefchaouen, Morocco
Tucked away in the Rif Mountains, Chefchaouen is a Moroccan town known for its blue-painted streets and buildings. The striking blue hues create a calming atmosphere and provide endless photo opportunities. While Morocco is famous for Marrakech and Fez, Chefchaouen offers a more tranquil and intimate experience.
Beyond its picturesque streets, visitors can hike in the surrounding mountains or visit the Akchour waterfalls. The town is also a hub for artisan crafts, making it an excellent place to shop for handwoven textiles and ceramics.
7. Yakushima, Japan
A short ferry ride from Kyushu, Yakushima Island is a natural paradise that inspired the mystical forest in Studio Ghibli’s “Princess Mononoke.” This UNESCO World Heritage Site is home to ancient cedar trees, some over 1,000 years old, and a diverse ecosystem.
Hiking trails like the Shiratani Unsuikyo Ravine lead through moss-covered forests, while the island’s coastline offers hot springs and beaches. Yakushima’s remote location and unspoiled beauty make it a must-visit for nature lovers.
8. Matera, Italy
While Italy attracts millions of tourists annually, Matera is often overlooked in favor of Rome or Venice. This southern Italian city is one of the oldest continuously inhabited settlements in the world, famous for its “sassi,” ancient cave dwellings carved into limestone.
Matera’s transformation from a neglected town to a European Capital of Culture in 2019 has brought it renewed attention. Wander through its labyrinthine streets, visit cave churches adorned with frescoes, and enjoy authentic Italian cuisine in this extraordinary setting.
9. Raja Ampat, Indonesia
For underwater enthusiasts, Raja Ampat is a hidden paradise. Located in Indonesia’s West Papua province, this archipelago boasts some of the most biodiverse marine life on the planet. Crystal-clear waters, vibrant coral reefs, and secluded beaches make it a haven for snorkelers and divers.
Beyond marine activities, visitors can explore lush jungles and meet the local communities who call this remote region home. Raja Ampat’s commitment to sustainable tourism ensures that its natural beauty remains preserved for future generations.
10. Ilulissat Icefjord, Greenland
Greenland’s Ilulissat Icefjord is a breathtaking spectacle of nature. Designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the area features massive icebergs calving from the Sermeq Kujalleq Glacier into the sea. The shifting ice creates a mesmerizing landscape that is constantly changing.
Visitors can explore the fjord by boat, kayak, or on foot via hiking trails. The nearby town of Ilulissat offers a glimpse into Greenlandic culture and traditions. This Arctic destination is perfect for those seeking solitude and awe-inspiring natural wonders.
Why Explore Hidden Gems?
Traveling to lesser-known destinations not only offers unique experiences but also helps to reduce the impact of over-tourism on popular sites. These hidden gems often provide more authentic encounters with local cultures, untouched natural beauty, and a chance to connect with the world in a deeper way. Whether you’re seeking adventure, tranquility, or cultural immersion, the world’s unexplored corners are waiting to be discovered travel companies in dubai
