Terzo Emeritus: Turin.
Primo | Secondo | Terzo.

We know Terzo spent some time as a Cardinal in Poland (I'm going to do some research on Krakow too, just for fun), but if I had to locate him somewhere in Italy, I know where to place him. For Terzo, the most mystical and mysterious of the Papas, I have thought of the most evil and contrasting city in Italy: Turin. Turin is, literally, the Italian City of the Devil, and it is divided into two sides, one evil (black) and one good (white). Let's see what may have influenced the rebellious Terzo Emeritus.  This will be a long one.
1 - Life and death, good and evil, black and white…

Turin is geographically divided into two sides: the good side to the east, where the sun rises, and the evil side to the west, where the sun sets, divided by the gates of the Royal Palace. Both sides feature monuments and buildings reflecting their predominant energy, and each side counterbalances the magical influence of the other. Turin, with its duality, is both a point of the Black Magic triangle (Turin, London, San Francisco) and one of the White Magic triangle (Turin, Lyon, and Prague).
On the west side, the dark one, the ancient Romans had built the necropolis and the gallows where condemned prisoners were executed. There was nothing but death and darkness.
On the east side, the bright one, the Mole Antonelliana acts as an antenna that gathers white energy from the ground and projects it onto the city through its tip. (Additionally, there is the Sacra Sindone, the cloth with the image of Jesus supposedly printed with his sweat and blood.)
The combination of the two forces creates a coniunctio oppositorum.
Given that Meliora is based on the concept of a city overpowered by dark forces, I believe a whole city where contrasting forces are so strong that they have shaped its aesthetic would have been fitting for him.
2 - Mysterious spectre wrestles power supplies from oligarchs.

The negative fame of Turin seems to stem from the hard rivalry between the Savoy family and the Vatican, especially during the Risorgimento, when Turin was labeled as "diabolical" due to its strongly anti-clerical positions. Turin (and Savoy family) became the anti-Vatican, basically, and we know how controversial Terzo was considered in the Ministry.
So the Savoy family erected five buildings in five different points of the city to form a pentacle: the hunting reserve of Stupinigi, the Moncalieri Castle, the Rivoli Castle, the Venaria Reggia, and the Basilica of Superga. (I have tried tracing the pentacle lines myself, as you can see in the image. Yep, that’s true.) Additionally, the cremation practice was strongly pushed by Turin, in opposition to the traditional burial.
And you are here to stay and burn with me, right?
3 - Lucifer’s statue.

Piazza dello Statuto coincides with the apex of the black magic triangle and the place where prisoners were executed, and it is right here that the presumed statue of Lucifer stands, above a necropolis that is called both la Vallis Occidanum, “West valley” or "where the sun sets" and Vallis Occisorum "Valley of the murdered". The statue is actually a fountain, built in memory of the victims of the Frejus tunnel accident... but looking at it, it's easy to understand that there is something more. The angel placed on the top of the fountain bears an upside-down five-pointed star on its head, and its gaze is not directed towards the Frejus, as one would expect, but towards the white part of the city. Towards the light.
I don’t know you, but to me, He is.
4 - The Masonic headquarters.

Terzo was known to have included many references to the Freemasons, especially in Square Hammer, where many see in the lyrics the tale of a Freemasonry initiation ritual.
In Piazza Solferino, we find the Fountain of the Four Seasons, where the four seasons are represented by four statues: spring and summer by two female figures, while autumn and winter by two male figures. Those male figures are identified with the giants Boaz and Joaquin, supporters of the pillars of Hercules which, in Masonic symbolism, would represent the first step of the initiate in their Masonic journey. Furthermore, it is said that the water of that fountain it’s a source of knowledge.
Continuing on the Masonic path, on via Lascaris, there is now a bank, but in the past, it was the headquarters of a Masonic lodge (curious that in a former Masonic lodge, there is now a bank... Mummy Dust-curious). On the sidewalks of the street, you can notice cracks in the shape of evil eyes. The gaze of the devil.
5 - The first lightning rod in Italy.

Terzo is often depicted surrounded by lightning, so he must have felt at home in Turin. In 1752, in fact, Gianni Battista Beccaria successfully repeated Benjamin Franklin's experiment by installing a lightning rod above his apartment. He created the first lightning rod ever seen in Italy, but since then Beccaria was accused of wizardry for his ability in manipulating electrical energy.
I know that I set a maximum of 5 points, but Turin is so full of occultism that I had to add a bonus point. 👇🏻
6 - the Devil’s door.

This door could have a post on its own for how much there is to say about it, but I’ll cut it short.
Legend has it that it was built in one night by the devil himself to punish a man who had invoked him in vain, and since its installation, terrifying episodes have occurred inside the building, such as the disappearance of a soldier or the murder of a dancer stabbed during a dance that lasted three days and three nights.
The decorations on the door are rich in esoteric symbolism (There is also a little rat…) and in the center, the clapper is literally the face of the devil with two snakes, while in the central column there is a monster holding the world in its claws.
Today, this building also houses a bank… my Mummy Dust.

It was still dark when Arthur and his son set out. It was eerily silent. There was no sounds of birds or other wildlife, not even the howling of wolves. It was only filled by the horses’ hooves crunching down in the deepening snow, or the steam created from theirs or their riders’ breaths. When the cabin was out of sight the feeling of isolation became imperious. Not even the moon was in the starless and overcast sky to keep them company. They held their lanterns close to Arthur’s compass, or to Arthur Francisco’s hand drawn map of the area they needed to travel to.
The trek lasted until the mid-morning when the snow was losing its orange tint from the dawn, higher and higher up the mountains. They stopped at a plateau over looking a small crater that became a deep, frozen over lake that fed the river below. Just off center within it was a small island. In the spring time there was likely still some snow, but not enough for the water to stay icy or to stop the plant life from becoming green. With food and a water source, it was good enough for moose.
“Is this the place?” Arthur asked quietly.
Arthur Francisco looked at the map and nodded.
“Okay.” Arthur continued, “Now, what we’re gonna need to do, is start looking for signs.”
They left their horses in a safe place and went on foot half a mile further up the mountain. They scanned the trunks of the ancient, tall fur trees. They focused upon ones where the branches didn’t start until several feet up. They finally found one with stripped bark and deep grooves in the wood, something a bull moose would do to assert dominance in their territory. While it was a good sign, there didn’t seem to be any recent tracks in the snow.
They curved their way eastward. They found an area with thicker brush that had more things a moose would usually eat in the winter months. Carefully keeping his eyes to the ground, Arthur eventually found something. Near a patch of eaten up juniper, there was a fresh pile of moose droppings and tracks in the snow that weren’t yet erased.
“Seems a way’s off, but not too bad.” Arthur muttered.
They followed the tracks zigzagging through the landscape. Along the way there were more signs like other scraped trees and fur. It led them to the other side of the lake, where there was an almost farmland-like field of bare bushes. At the center there was a great bull moose, its head bent down and making a meal of the twigs. Before it could catch their scent, Arthur and Arthur Francisco backed further away and huddled behind a large rock on the ridge line above the animal.
Arthur sized the moose up using his binoculars. It was massive even for its species. From hoof to shoulder it looked about 10 and a half feet tall. Its body rounder than that of a draft horse from eating so well to survive the season. It was probably close to 2,000 pounds. Its head was thick and solid, especially carrying its monumental antlers that spread farther than Arthur was tall.
“Looks like this is our boy, son.” Arthur whispered, “You ready?”
Arthur Francisco took his Carcano off his back. He loaded it close to the ground so the snow muffled the sound. He stood up slowly and lifted it. Arthur rested his hand on the boy’s back to stabilize his shot, telling him to aim as much to the forehead as possible to preserve the antlers and the pelt. Arthur Francisco focused with his eye in the scope. He took a deep breath and squeezed the trigger.
The shot that rang out echoed through the mountains. The bull moose’s head jerked with a spray of blood as the bullet went through its head. Its body dropped hard on the cushioned ground without any resistance and laid there completely still with vapor coming from the fatal wound where its warmth inside met the cold.
A thunderous and gleeful laugh burst from Arthur's throat, replacing the deafening ringing in Arthur Francisco's ears. He stood up and towered over the boy, excitedly grabbing him by the shoulders.
"You got him!" Arthur cried, "You sure as shit got him!"
The moose was an even more massive beast up close. Arthur whistled for the horses, and then took out his knife. He used the tip to point at where to cut open the abdomen for field dressing. He then gave Arthur Francisco the blade and talked him through it.
"Get the knife through the skin and muscle. Then just slide it in as straight of a line as you can. Nice and easy..."
Arthur Francisco opened the animal, exposing the viscera with the unflowing blood leaking out of his incision.
"Now, we're gonna need to get rid of all them organs. Anything that we can't eat needs to go, so it don't dirty up the good meat. It'll lighten up the load we'll be draggin'."
Arthur helped in removing the unpleasant parts of the animal, then left the rest for the boy to do with his supervision. They kept the heart and liver, wrapping them individually in waxed paper and covering them with cloth and string.
Arthur Francisco looked at his soiled gloves and the mess they left, "What's going to happen to all this?"
"Animals'll get them. Probably wolves or anythin' else around here that eats meat." Arthur said, "A free meal that's easy to come by is much appreciated until Spring."
When the horses arrived, Arthur pulled several feet of rope and large canvas tarps out of his saddle bags. He placed them on the snow beside the moose and spread them out. He and Arthur Francisco took the moose by the legs and rolled it onto its other side onto them. They wrapped it and secured it with the ropes, affixing them to the bodies of their horses in a way that didn't bruise the moose's flesh or damage its antlers.
They slowly used their horses to drag the moose out. Arthur patted Arthur Francisco on the back, "You did real good, son. Your mama will very proud."

Ana watched for them. That and going out to keep the snow drifts from building up at the door. The moment she heard the horses in the distance, excitement and apprehension came in equal measure. It would be a major disappointment for Arthur Francisco if he didn’t manage to catch anything.
She let out a sigh of relief when she saw they were dragging something, and it was much larger than she expected. When they stopped in front of the cabin the antlers told her they found their target before anything could be said.
“My God!” Ana cried, “Look at him!”
“We’ll have plenty of meat now!” Arthur Francisco said with the largest grin.
Arthur and Arthur Francisco dismounted and untied the moose from the horses. Arthur removed the canvas and Ana got a better look at it. She had never seen such a creature. Then again, she wasn’t sure if she ever saw a moose to begin with. She heard of them, she saw drawings of them in books and knew they were formidable, but this one seemed like a giant.
Ana wrapped her arms around Arthur Francisco and Arthur, “Good job you two! Once we take this to the butcher’s everyone in town will be talking!”
They had to hang the carcass high up in a bare tree. Arthur climbed it and threw the ropes over the thickest branch supporting the beast’s great weight. As he got down Arthur Francisco was lashing the horses in a single file, first Delfina, second Josefina, and lastly the Criollo. Ana tied the ropes to the moose’s hind legs, Arthur taking the other end of them and attaching them in a chain-like manner to each horse. Arthur and Arthur Francisco slowly leg them forward, the moose dragging along the snow until it was lifted in the air. They all carefully tied the ropes off to the tree trunk, making sure their trophy didn’t fall to the ground or be accessible to any roving scavengers looking for a quick meal.
Even so, Arthur Francisco frequently checked it from the window for the rest of the afternoon into the evening.
“Are you sure it’ll be fine?” He asked.
“It’ll be fine son,” Arthur said, “Wolves don’t jump that high.”
“And bears are still hibernating, plus mountain lions aren’t this far north.” Ana added, “Now, come and sit down. We’ll play a game until it’s time for bed.”
When they were gone, Ana had found an old and ragged deck of cards on the hearth mantle. They tried a few card games until they somehow ended up with an adapted version of Poker. She didn’t really want to teach her son how to gamble, but it seemed the only game she and Arthur were good at. Since they didn’t have chips, Ana opened and sorted a jar of mixed dried beans. Instead of monetary amounts, they became point based. The white beans were 1, the red beans 5, the orange-ish brown beans 10, the green beans 25, and the black beans were 100. The person with the most amount of points would win.
After a few hours and several cups of gin for Arthur and Ana, they ended up losing miserably to Arthur Francisco, who had every pile of beans in front of him. In any other circumstance, Ana wouldn’t have been amused by it, but she laughed just as hard as Arthur was.
Ana put Arthur Francisco to bed not long after. It allowed the alcohol to take over Arthur, watching Ana climb up the ladder behind their son in a dreamlike manner. He let his mind wander to when they were young. When they spent so many nights together, two lonely people desperate for a loving touch.
Ana climbed down and noticed the way he was looking at her. She smiled, “What’s that for?”
“Nothin’…” Arthur replied, “You just look good, is all.”
Ana laughed and went back to her chair, “I don’t think you drank that much.”
“I’m serious!” Arthur said.
Without thinking about it so he wouldn’t stop himself, he reached over to Ana. He wrapped his strong arms around her waist, lifting her from her seat and into his lap. It was surprising, but Ana was in no way going to protest.
He held her tightly and buried his face in the crook where her shoulder met her neck, taking in her scent and presence. She ran her fingers through his hair. It sent a desperate chill through his body. He lifted his head and his lips found the exposed flesh of her jaw. She let out a soft moan, and tilted her head to the other side. It further emboldened him, moving upwards until their lips met. Both eager to have some taste of the other as Arthur’s hands wandered from her back to her upper thighs.
Through frantic breaths Ana had to remind him how careful they needed to be, with Arthur Francisco just above them to easily hear.
Arthur let out a reluctant, but understanding groan, “Are we ever goin’ to be able to be alone?”
“I would like that more than anything.” Ana replied, “There is an opportunity I was going to talk to you about. Valentine, down in New Hanover. There’s a horse auction in Spring. I’d like you to come with me.”
Arthur nodded eagerly, “Oh, I’d like that.”

Day 61 (1/2)
Shadow Carja Border Pass

A couple hours before dawn, Vanasha arrived with a some hired Carja hunters, along with Itamen and Nasadi. Down from his throne perch, the young king looked even smaller, and more afraid. There were more Carja soldiers from Meridian meant to meet us partway through the pass. They would guide us to the boat that would take us across the river to Brightmarket and into the domain of the sun.
Vanasha told me they were seen by sentries on the road away from Sunfall. Pursuers were on their way.

Huadiv and the other Carja escorted the royals while Vanasha and I stayed behind to face the threat. Not Shadow Carja military, but Eclipse, though after the revelation of High Priest Bahavas, I guess there's little difference except clearance and attire. We rigged the passage with traps and dispatched the Eclipse and their corrupted machines.

The guards arrived soon after, and as soon as Vanasha proclaimed the way was clear, the heavy footsteps of a corrupted Thunderjaw shook the valley walls. It rounded the corner with a band of Eclipse wranglers, and Vanasha took off to check on the royal escorts while the soldiers and I faced the beast.

As the sun began to rise, we took out the cultists and kept the Thunderjaw at bay while the others made their escape to the shore. I tore off its cannons while the soldiers distracted it, then froze it and took it down with discs and hardpoints.

Once it was finished, we raced for the shore and caught up with the others. Vanasha and I kept our eyes on the northern shore as the barge crawled across the river, watching for more pursuers and sentries in the fortresses.

Once I was sure we were in the clear, watching Nasadi and Itamen stare longingly at the port of Brightmarket, I hit me for the first time how monumental this would be for the Carja. As Vanasha told me, this is the beginning of the end of the civil war. The Shadow Carja no longer have their figurehead, no legitimacy of faith to rally their already demoralised people. But it could be dangerous too. If the Shadow Carja have nothing left to lose, they might grow desperate. I can't see the likes of Helis surrendering to the crown.

Avad and his soldiers met the barge at the docks, greeting Itamen as his brother and protected ward of the Sundom. I could see the way the boy's eyes lit up, the heavy headdress forcing his head down, but smiling. Avad acknowledged me, awed by yet another kingdom-saving deed. No such credit for Vanasha, who orchestrated the whole thing, which she pointed out after Avad was out of earshot. I'm sure she'll get the recognition she deserves back in Meridian, but I decided not to accompany them. Avad clearly wanted me to. I can't sit through the ceremonies, celebrations and political squabbles sure to come out of this.
I journeyed west to find the secrets of Zero Dawn, but yet again was swept up in Carja plots, swaying my focus. It's for the best, of course. With the Citadel in shambles I'll have an easier time slipping past the Shadow Carja guards, and defeating the Eclipse when the time comes will be far simpler too with the Shadow Carja cause so weakened, but I can't keep letting the needs of others sway me from my mission.

I headed to the inn for a meal and some rest, catching up on sleep as the village roared with gossip and activity. Many from Meridian had made the journey along with the royal procession to ogle the prince. Then I returned to the docks, watching for retaliatory Shadow Carja forces on the opposite shore.

Gulahni was in the port selling her produce, now with Dekamin at her side. He was earning his keep now, though he still attributed it all to the Sun's merciful judgement. Gulahni's a good influence on him. She even scolded him for calling me a savage to my face...again.

No sign of barges full of angry Shadow Carja. It'd be a foolish errand with all the soldiers waiting for them on the other side. With Bahavas gone, I doubt their forces are even getting clear orders. I wonder what bedlam I'll find back across the border.

I swam across this time, making for the shore of the most eastward-protruding island, surveying the coast and its sentry towers for signs of alarm all the way.

Picked up a mount and made the journey back to Sunfall, wary of patrols. I saw a few soldiers poking around the border pass, as if that could do any good in retrospect. Rockbreakers in the dunes nearly threw me from my Charger.

Again, I took the path to the Citadel on foot. Shadowside was quiet, rife with whispers of hope for the end of the war, wishes for Itamen's safety, and admonishments of the insurgents who kidnapped him and his mother. Whoever leads Sunfall now wasn't able to keep the news suppressed for long.
A kestrel oversaw a group of refugees with weapons thrust into their hands, struggling with training drills. The military really is getting desperate. The city gates were open, strangely, a steady stream of servants, merchants, and Carja nobles moving in and out, shifting stock and valuables. It looks to me like they're pulling their people back, holing up behind the Citadel walls.

No sacrifices in the Sun Ring today, just a few priests looking mournfully over the balustrade.

The palace was fairly quiet, but open to Carja nobles and hunters, who were paying their respects and leaving offerings to the late High Priest and supposedly kidnapped royalty at the foot of the empty throne. I heard mutterings from the guards as I passed through, talking about Itamen in Meridian and how they wished they could follow, if only so they could eat a decent meal. Things are falling apart here. No one to order the men around, and barely enough to guard the palace as it was.

The royal balcony was empty. Making sure no one was watching, I jumped over the railing and scaled the cliffs around the edge of the arena, climbing down to the metal structure enclosing the Sun Ring. There were extinguished torches and a makeshift wooden barricade across the entrance to the ruins. Sylens had been here before. He made sure to give me one of his patronising lectures before I descended into the base. As much as my distraction with Vanasha and Uthid likely irked him, if I'd tried forcing my way through a sea of priests and kestrels when I'd first arrived at Sunfall, I'd be dead or in a cell by now for certain.
I wonder what Sylens had to do to get inside the Shadow Carja's inner sanctum.

Descending into the ruin, I passed more of Sylens’ makeshift structures, making for the door he could never breach. He took the opportunity to monologue about this, unfortunately.

The vault door began its sequence as normal, before announcing a malfunction. I didn't go through all this just to be denied again, as I was back in the mountain. I announced myself as Elisabet Sobeck, knowing the door would see me so. It had no trouble recognising me, but refused to open. Elisabet's station among the Old Ones helped me once again, letting me activate the facility's 'emergency venting' procedure. The ground rattled beneath me as the door shunted open, blasting stale air outward.
The ruin rumbled above as well, likely opening other vents and expelling their ancient, sealed contents. There was no way it would go unnoticed by the Shadow Carja above. Given everything that had happened to their regime, and now the Sun Ring itself trembling and spitting smoke...What would they make of it? Regardless, I wouldn't have the ruin to myself for long.

Ancient holograms sprang to life inside, the Faro logo emblazoned above it all. Why that symbol of death? I suppose Ted made good on his promise to finance Elisabet's project.
Inside, I found datapoints from the people who were brought here by General Herres and his men—those subjects from across the world that Elisabet requested for the project. They were given no real explanation, only asked to wait and enter the following rooms one by one to learn to truth about Zero Dawn. The staff here had to deal with many scared guests unused to secrecy.
Moving on, I entered the first 'holographic theatre' to watch a recording from General Herres, hoping to learn the truth of the weapon Elisabet built here.

Gold scent: Piglin can detect any golden material and sense their status within 60ft. This effect functions like the spell Detect Metal but only on gold.
Greed: +2 bonus on Appraise checks to determine the price of nonmagical goods that contain precious metals or gemstones. This bonus increases of a +2 if they are made of Gold.
Piglin skills: Craft (Gold), Handle animal, Perception, Survival are always class skills for Piglins.
Orc Ferocity: Once per day, when a member of this race is reduced to fewer than 0 hit points but is not killed, it can fight on for 1 more round as if disabled. At the end of its next turn, unless brought to above 0 hit points, it immediately falls unconscious and begins to die.
Frenzy: Once per day, whenever a member of this race takes damage, it flies into a frenzy for 1 minute, gaining a +2 racial bonus to Constitution and Strength, but a –2 penalty to AC.
Weapon Familiarity: Piglins are proficient with Battleaxe, Heavy Crossbow, Longsword, Pickaxe.
Limited telephaty: Piglins possess a crude but efficient form of telephaty. While they cannot use it to perform conversations, they can sense the general emotions of their kin(only of other Piglins) and understand them reacting as a single unit in front of danger. This effect is constant as long as the Piglin is conscious and links any Piglins within 50ft with each other.
Unnatural Fear: Piglins are automatically afraid of all forms of undead Piglin, undead Hoglin and Soul Fire sources(magical and not) and they will never come close to these.(treat this effect as a Fear spell)
Overworld curse: Any Piglin that leaves the Nether will turn into a zombie version of itself within 3 turns with no saves. This effect can be halted only with a Wish or Miracle spell for 1 round. These spells can also be used to return transformed Piglins into their normal forms.
Languages: Piglins begin to speak Orc. Those with higher score in Intelligence can choose from the following languages: Common, Ignan, Abyssal, Giant, Alko, Undercommon and Necril.
Background: Piglins are brutish, greedy, primitive, yet united, inhabitants of the Nether. They live in various locations of the crimson landscape but never in a Soul valley. The Piglins live a nomadic-hunter-gatherer tribe life-style, never still for too long but from time to time setting in a ruined Bastion or a Nether fortress which they consider a monument of their glorious days of the past. They are very superstitious and afraid and keep a distance from Soul fire which traps the very souls of the victim(or so they think). They also run away from any version of themselves that has been turned into a zombie. It is said that in the past there were many wars and at the peak of their civilization, the Piglins invaded the Overworld causing havoc and plundering the land: resources were taken, inhabitants were enslaved, cities turned into rubble, obsidian portals opened everywhere in the land. Mighty fortresses of gold, quartz and blackstone towered in the Nether as testament to their might… however, one day it all crumbled to dust as the very gods cast a curse upon the Piglins: If they ever dared to return, the very land would sunder their being and strip them of any form of life for they greedily stole too much in the past. And so they walk, sometimes equipped with gold equipments and barely remembering the days of old, yet obsessed with gold and willing to do anything to get more… 
Half-Breeds: Since in the past they did breed with some of the inhabitants of the Overworld, it can happen that a half-breed(half-orc) is born: more intelligent, devoid of the curse of undeath and free to walk any obsidian portal(s) it might find. However, these half-breed are rare and usually removed or offered in tribute to their god in order to keep their purity and/or removing pretenders for the seat of chieftain. These Piglins loses the curse racial trait and their unnatural fear.
Physical appearance and personality: Piglins are muscular powerful humanoids with tusks, pig-like faces and features. They wear simple, rugged leather clothes but they seek to get gold as soon as possible to build their weapons and armors. Piglins, are obsessed with gold as it is the only thing to show their status: The more gold one has, the more his status is considered higher, until someone steals it, or worst. Wearing gold armor and giving gold items to Piglins is the only known way to stop their territorial rampage and they will give you something in return(that is not gold). To survive the harsh Nether they learned a few tricks: like how to squeeze water out of mushrooms or Nether wart. No matter what, they are always ready to barter as they are to steal, kill, betray or hunt. Sometimes, they manage to gather into a fortress of old like a Bastion, where they organize and gather their loot. However, these organized groups are short lived as their hierarchy is as fragmented as their long lost empire. One always tries to topple the other and while they try to grow their children they also engage in hunting/training Hoglins or seeking resources while at it. Be forewarned, for they will consider even the gold in a wall theirs as a sort of a “secret stash” only to have another Piglin yell that it was his causing a massive rampage. They worship various spirits of fire, strength, war, riches and death that are all the same God, their creator. However, even these cults disappear as they appear… like a flame flickering in the dark. Overall, they are greedy, warlike, superstitious, survivalist pig-like humanoids that still will protect their clans with a ferocity that cannot be measured with words.

What are the most popular monuments/Landmarks in Ebott?
Oooo I like this question!
1: The monuments of remembrance: in the town called remembrance, at the entrance to the underground, there are a series of MASSIVE boulders making a pathway to the underground’s entrance. On each boulder is carved the names of those left behind in the crash (aka the monster who died before it happened). It’s basically a large mass grave. There’s hundreds of these boulders. Many monsters travel there to pay respects, but it’s been getting some tourism too.
The town that maintains remembrance is also called remembrance lol. The royals suck at names. There’s not much else on that island in ebott except sheep and some fishermen. There’s a few little livestock villages.
2: The temple of lady magic: one of ebotts biggest tourists magnets, and of course a very significant place to many monsters. The temple sits on top of three mountains and is connected through underground passages. The outer temple is made of limestone, mined in waterfall, and the interior bits are literally just the caverns of the mountains carved up and widened some.
The temple is located next to kidney lake and below it on the lakeside and hilly areas are several towns including wheatilly, Maria, Garson, and paddy valley.
3: Metta Land: it’s basically ebott’s Hollywood. The city is super popular because not only is all of ebotts movies filmed and made there, it also has the largest shopping mall in the country and ebott’s only theme park. Metta land gets a ton of tourism as well as local visitors every day.
Technically only the heart of the city is called Metta land. The city outskirts where people actually live is called mechapolis.
4: Rolling grapes peak: located in new hope, in the mountains in the east of ebott. Rolling grapes peak is ebotts biggest ski resort. It mostly only has ebott citizen visitors as tourists usually want to see snowdin in the underground instead. It still is very popular in ebott though
5: the great dam. Ebotts biggest (and only currently) dam. It’s a damn big dam. It’s a world record actually. That one massive lake on top of ebott has a thing for overflowing in the rainy season hence why the dam was needed.
It’s close to Mettaland, and in between the city and the dam are several towns including Pineway, chewsbury, and Whitestone.
5: crimson gate bridge: ebotts largest bridge. It’s not crimson, it’s actually a sunny golden color, but the monster who designed it didn’t want it getting confused with the Golden Gate Bridge in San Fransisco so he called it crimson lol. The bridge is huge and technically in two parts. The right is for cars and trucks, and a second smaller bridge to the left holds the trains passing through
The bridge leads into Goldenvalley city in the east. On the west side are some more agricultural towns including Thistleweed, Harvard, heritage town, and Bluebell
6: mount ivory: the tallest mountain in ebott. It’s in the Ridgeside mountain range and is a really popular hiking spot. It’s 2/3rds the size of Mount Everest.

Sit down kids because I’m off my meds and I need to rant about how the still I fly scene is literally perfect.
Part 1. The music
The music starts out slow, portraying Dusty’s unsureness about the situation. The tone is very much screaming “is this a bad idea?” But as the song progresses, you can hear dusty become more motivated in musical form. Once he enters piston peak, it’s full throttle. Dusty doesn’t just want to help propwash, he NEEDS to help prop wash, which is why it becomes more intense. “Watch me as I touch the sky” is a clever line, because it portrays something from the first movie. The first time dusty flew in the highway in the clouds. “Give it all I got this time” is nodding towards the fact that dusty is putting his everything into this. As the guitar solo starts, you can hear the motivation, the need, the want, the purpose to help propwash. The music slows at cad’s part, because it portrays that he’s much more of a “unaware, rude asshole who has no motivation about anything but himself and his lodge”. Once the scene with him ends though, it increases. As dusty passes the deer, you can hear the beauty of piston peak through the music alone. The music is speaking thousands of words, as he passes by the bridge, the lake, and into piston peak air attack’s base.
Part 2. The visuals/animation
At the start, it’s rather dreary and cloudy. Although you can attribute it to the fact that it’s morning in propwash, it also has another meaning. Dusty is in a dark place. As he passes by the cornfields, it’s lighter, a sign of hope for dusty. As he leaves the confines of propwash once again, the next scene/cut shows it being stormy. As if it’s almost saying “is this a good idea? Am I doing the right thing? Is this dangerous?”. But as it passes to the valley scene, it’s lighter, with only the formations being darkened. I may be overthinking this, but I believe this is supposed to portray little parts of dusty beginning to feel hope again as he escapes the confines of propwash, attempting to find his purpose. The town portrays a full sense of hope. As if he’s almost screaming “I’m ready for whatever the world throws at me!”. As it passes to piston peak, the sunshine glares into the deep valleys and canyons, almost like the lights of some other worldly creature reaching down to tell dusty “it’s going to be okay.”. The scene with Muir (the train) shows that maybe, dusty will fit in, due to the friendliness of the train. The birds are amazing because of the fact that they show you what piston peak is. A national park, with lots of opportunities for a new purpose. We don’t know how long these small red prop planes have lived in this park, but we can concur that they came for a reason. Just like dusty. As dusty flies through the hole in the tree, you cut to other civilians going to piston peak. Harvey and Winnie are the most important, because their exchange speaks a thousand words. “It’s just like I remember” makes you understand that they’re returning, and due to their old, grandma and grandfather like voices, you can tell it might have been a while since they came to piston peak, meaning that many others may have found themselves and their identity inside the very forests dusty flies over. As dusty flies by, passing the welcome to piston peak sign, you can see the monument that’s named the park. The piston peak. As he passes by the lodge, you can see campers, vacationers, any car, plane, or helicopter of any size can enjoy this park. So a small plane like dusty could find a purpose here as well. Fancier cars are there, as well as older cars. Busses, small planes, rv’s, boats, everyone there can enjoy piston peak. The rest of the scene is practically yelling at you, screaming “DUSTY WILL FIND A NEW PURPOSE!” But at the end, you can see a slight bit of unsureness in his eyes, showing that he’s having second thoughts.
