The universe is aligning to bring positive energies into your life, if you were thinking in doing something new this is time to put your time and energy into it! But even with the universe helping you, remember that you actually have to do your part to achieve your goals, so trust in your abilities and don't try to leave all the work to the universe.

love & relationships: nine of pentacles (reversed)

There would be a lack of stability and/or security, and specially issues regarding money.

If you are in a relationship, you or your partner are acting a little spoiled, in the sense of wanting all the rewards without actually putting in the work, this month is a great opportunity to reflect and communicate with your partner on this.

If you are single, reflect on why you want to start a relationship, it could be in general, or with someone specific in mind. The answer might seem obvious, but there's a chance you or the one interested in you is seeking the relationship to gain wealth or status rather than actually being romantically interested.

money & career: ace of wands (reversed)

There would be a lack of energy and enthusiasm on your work, maybe you are getting tired of the routine or you aren't feeling really creative (if that is relevant for your work). 

There might be some money related issues, like losing money on investments or some unexpected bills.

There might be self-sabotaging and communication problems, this could lead you to stress and serious conflicts. If you are in a relationship, there might be situations that provoke frustration, irritation or competitiveness, which may lead to conflicts and fighting. Now, some people like this kind of relationship so this is not necessary a bad thing, if you prefer a more calm relationship, you might want to take a step back, think about the situation, and once both of you are calm enough, communicate and try to compromise.

If you are single, you love life this month will get a little chaotic since there will be a lot of people wanting to get your attention, this might be good or bad depending on your preferences, but just try to not let things get out of control since it could easily turn south.

money & career: justice

Separate 👏 your 👏 work 👏 from 👏 your 👏 personal 👏 life 👏 .

You have a schedule for a reason, don't take the work home, enjoy your free time; and if you work from home, designate some "me time". I know sometimes is difficult fully separate yourself from work, specially if it's something important, but you have to remember that it's not healthy for you is all you do is work and you don't relax from time to time. Start some new hobbies, spend time with your love ones, anything is okay as long as you are relaxing and having fun.

In terms of money, everything will be fine, your hard work will be rewarded. This is more of a reminder that as long as you act with integrity in your business and other money related affairs, you will be compensated.

If you are in a relationship, this month it might become a little unstable, it could be for lack of effort in the relationship, lack of commitment, or just the routine is starting to make the relationship a little boring, dull even.

If you are single, you might not be ready for commitment in a relationship just yet. This is not necessarily bad, just let the other person know beforehand that you aren't looking for anything serious, so no-one gets hurt in the process. There could also be the case that someone is seeking a relationship with you, but they are the ones who aren't ready for commitment.

money & career: death (reversed)

Maybe you've been thinking of changing careers, or get a new direction on the one you currently have, and you weren't really sure to do it, for any reason. This month take time to figure out what changes you want/need to make for it to happen.

You might go through a rough patch this month, or maybe you already are going through it. Take time this month to plan ahead and rethink how you are going to manage your finances to lessen the impact. Don't freak out though, this will be temporary, maybe you just have to cut some unnecessary expenses for a short while, just be sure to manage your money wisely.

Heey, I'm not really sure if I'll do this type of readings monthly, it mostly depends on if you guys like it or not, and ofc if I'm having fun doing them! Personally, I had so much fun doing this kind of reading, hopefully the next ones will be posted before the month actually starts. So huh, yeah, this month the love readings aren't looking to good, I'm not versed in astrology, but maybe something is going on? I don't really know.

You should stop focusing on materialism and start making a progress with your spiritual path and growth. There's a lot of negativity you were holding back, a lot of what if's and right now, you aren't opening your heart rather you closing it for any opportunity of changes. Your manifestations are being blocked, don't expect anything when you are not making any progress and open for opportunities and healing trauma and karma.

Overall, the main point of your June is to make progress and start a new beginnings. Also, if you are someone who is planning to go on a exercise and diet, it may the right time for you to burn some unhealthy fats you were having because you may have lack of movement.

What Will Your April Look Like?

Pile 1

The Empress, Ace of Cups, Five of Swords, Three of Wands, Five of Wands reversed, Burning Bowl Ritual

Your first week of April, we have The Empress. You may be close to a mother figure during this time, or be embodying the energy of one. For some of you, this could literally mean finding out you are pregnant, or giving birth. For others, you will be taking care of a loved one, or supporting your friends. This card also represents new creative endeavors. This will be a good week to try something new, or start a new hobby. In the second week, we have the Ace of Cups. This is still a very nurturing, empathetic card. The happiness you feel at the very start of the month, has carried into this week as well. You will spend time with a friend, and feel as though you are bonding with those around you. You may meet someone new during this time, or deepen a preexisting connection with someone. In your third week, we have the Five of Swords. This is a bit of a crash, compared to the first two weeks. You could be arguing with someone, or feeling like someone doesn't support you as much as you supported them. This can give us the energy sometimes, especially with the Ace of Cups before it, of someone who is tired of giving someone else all their energy & effort, and not really seeing anything in return. Someone in your life could be belittling the hobby you started at the beginning of the month, not understanding the importance of doing something for fun, instead of for money. Your end April on a high note however, with the Three of Wands. You will be very focused on your goals, working hard to achieve them and not letting other distractions get in your way. Expect the person you got close with at the beginning of your month to still be by your side, helping to support you during this time as well! You will be doing some long-term thinking and planning, wanting to lay down some goals to make your dreams feel more concrete.

The overall theme for your April is the Five of Wands reversed. This indicates that you may be finding out a truth about someone, most likely the person referenced in week three. Your first week of April is represented by the King of Swords reversed. This could either be the energy you are embodying, or someone you will encounter. Regardless, this is a person who is selfish and hurting. You may be sick of being treated like you are less than for something you cannot control, and you wish to take a stand of some kind. You may be feeling like no one ever seems to prioritize you in the way you deserve, so you will spend this first week choosing yourself, above all else. With the Ten of Coins reversed, your second week will carry a lot of this same energy. In this moody feeling, where you think the world is against you, you may make a couple bad or irresponsible choices. Nothing permanent or long-term, but more like... drinking on a work night, or pulling an all-nighter when you have school the next morning. You are just acting out of desperation to feel important or to have time to yourself and away from those that have hurt you. The third week of April, we see this begin to turn around, with the Eight of Swords reversed. This card speaks to freedom from regret and guilt. You will begin to feel better, or at least you will feel more like yourself. You may realize that the expectations or demands that others have for you, truly isn't fair, and that only you know what you are capable of. As you begin to set your own boundaries and limitations, and release those placed onto you, you will begin to feel better in yourself. Your last week of April, with the Five of Cups reversed, will be the best week yet. You will have a newfound sense of peace and belonging. As well, you may become closer with a friend, or meet someone new, who seems to truly understand you and support you. You will end the month feeling satisfied, if not happy.

Your overall month is reflected with the Five of Swords reversed. This will be a month of shedding expectations and limitations unfairly set upon you, and redefining yourself. This could be a month where you come out, and find acceptance, as well. Overall, you can expect this general sense of rebirth during April.

Your self care oracle is Music. This is a good month to listen to new music, or make music! Blast your fave songs in your headphones. Buy concert tickets. Tinker with a new instrument. Write a song you never show anyone.

Pile 3

Death reversed, The Devil reversed, Ace of Wands, Five of Wands reversed, Eight of Wands, Aromatherapy

Death reversed defines your first week in April. This is a card that, when in reverse, indicates a fear of change. You may spend the first week of April knowing that there is something you need to do, but being afraid to do it. This could be applying to post-secondary, moving, talking to your crush, starting a new project, asking for a raise, etc. Whatever it may be, you desperately want to do it, but you are afraid of what it means to commit to the change. You know that once you start to put your plan in motion, things cannot return to how they once were... even if they aren't so great right now. Your second week is defined by The Devil reversed. This is the week where you decide to go after what you want. You decide that your mental obstacles cannot stop you, that you deserve happiness no matter what. You will dedicate yourself to your goal this week. It is important to note, however, that this card can indicate obsessive tendencies or energies. It is important that you try and find some balance, don't push yourself too hard too fast! The third week of April, we have the Ace of Wands. This indicates a strong burst of energy and creativity. You have thrown yourself into your goal, willing to push yourself to the end. You are feeling brave and confident and ready for change. You will be carrying the energy from the last week forward, and will continue to work hard on your goal. We end April however, with the Five of Wands reversed. You may hit some sort of more physical obstacle, aside from your own worries and anxieties, which will stop you dead in your tracks. You won't be sure how to get over said obstacle, to carry down your path, and it may make you feel defeated. You will spend this week trying to build yourself back up and replanning how to return to getting what you want. Make sure you remain committed to what you deserve! Don't let one roadblock stop you for good!

Your overall April is defined by Eight of Wands. This card represents this speed and confidence with which you pursue your goals. You are going to be working hard on getting what you want. And you will be rewarded quickly for your hardwork! If not in April, than by the end of May. This may also indicate good luck in love this month, if that is one of your goals.

Your self care oracle is Aromatherapy. Maybe try out aromatherapy? Or light more candles! Or create candles! Look into essential oils and incense. Spend some time trying to make your living space smell good. Bake with lots of vanilla essence.

Nine of Coins reversed, Knight of Swords, The Magician, Nine of Swords, Temperance, Connect with the Earth

Nine of Coins reversed shows us your first week of April. You may have had something happen in the last week of March, which you are still experiencing the effects of at the beginning of April. Someone may have hurt you, or you felt deceived by someone, and you are spending this first week to lick your wounds clean and get resituated on your feet. Spend this week finding a sense of security in yourself. Take the time and rest you need. The Knight of Swords come in the second week to drastically contrast your first week. You will have new goals and thoughts, and be excited to be back on your feet and trying something new. You may be pursuing a new crush, or going after a different job. You will be feeling bold and brave and ready to get hurt again, though hoping it does not come to that! Expect this second week of April to bring you lots of change. Your third week has The Magician, which is a card of new ideas and the resources required to go after your goals. Things will be going your way this week. The feeling you had last week, follows you into this week. You have your goal in mind, and everything seems to be going the way you want it to go. Your friends or loved ones are willing to help support and encourage you, and you are feeling happy and brave. The last week of April, however, brings us back to the beginning, with the Nine of Swords. Someone may make a small comment, or you may not get the job you wanted, or things aren't happening as quick as you want them to, and it is bringing you down some. This card emphasizes IMAGINED fears. You are anxious or worried that this is all for nothing, or that you cannot accomplish the things you want to, but this fear is not founded in reality. Remind yourself of this when you hit your low moments. Use it to pick yourself back up. And, like your first week, take the time you need to rest and feel more secure.

Your month is represented, overall, by Temperance. People are going to be very supportive and accommodating towards you this month. You may feel somewhat peaceful, despite the energy or sadness you experience. It may seem like a bit of a rollercoaster this month, but when you look back on it, you will acknowledge that you felt more at peace and relaxed than you realized. Rely on those around you to keep you grounded and support you when you need it.

hello!! given that it is the first weekend in june, i'd like to go through everything that i read in the month of may and say if i would or would not recommend it and why. lets go !!

in chronological order of reading:

king of pride - ana huang: YES absolutely! god i loved this book. more specifically, yes i would recommend it if you like opposites attract in romance and dating, or if you like income gap relationships ( he's a billionaire, she's a struggling author ), and yes if you like incredibly hot and well written spicy scenes between characters. i honestly can't even think of a no unless you literally just hate spicy romance as a genre; even then i still think this book deserves a chance for your time. i absolutely adore this book.

2. den of vipers - k.a. knight: yes if you miss reading self-insert on wattpad and like pick me fmcs. the vipers themselves do have a lot of good character behind them, but as far as the fmc...i just really didn't like her. i did finish the entire book hoping that it would get better towards the end, but in my opinion the ending was one of the worse parts of the book and throughout it all it felt very predictable. would i generally recommend this? no. but it's definitely a hit or miss book. you'll either really like it, or not like it at all.

3. does it hurt? - h.d. carlton: yes yes yes yes yes. this was my favorite read of the month of may. i'd recommend it even more if you like witty and funny fmcs; it's sort of a dark romance version of grumpy x sunshine. it has a lot of spice and it's very creative if that makes sense? it's not just boring vanilla missionary, that's for sure. the mmcs character is phenomenal and both of them each have very full character arcs. but i wouldn't recommend it if mentions of incest and domestic abuse trigger you, or if body horror and gore triggers you.

4. never lie - freida mcfadden: yes if you're new to thrillers and want something easy to digest. definitely not if you're not new to thrillers and have read some absolutely breathtaking ones that kept you up at night. to me it had a rather predictable storyline, a twist that falls flat, and characters with absolutely zero depth or anywhere near a completed arc. i really did not like this book at all. also yes if you like a quick read; this didn't take me very long to get through.

5 + 6. there are no saints / there is no devil [ sinner's duet ] - sophie lark: yes if you like a "beginner" dark romance that doesn't stray too far into depravity, but still has a very dominant and demanding mmc. no if you've read things by h.d. carlton or other dark romance authors and that's your expectation level. this might come off as boring to you. however as this was a bit tame for me storyline wise, the spicy scenes were amazing and i did like that they were both artists. i feel like usually billionaires are business-oriented but it was cool to see a wealthy and famous artist. also yes if you like mentor romance dynamics.

7. iced out - veronica eden: yes if you like boys who are very clearly written by women ( in a good way! ). the mmc is perfectly balanced; he's as hot and dominant as he is cute and sweet and nice and thoughtful. he's pretty much the picturesque model citizen for what a girl typically would want in a perfectly healthy romantic relationship. there's very little drama between characters, which i personally liked. but no if parental death or familial death or grief/loss are triggers for you. for a more in-depth response, i did a spoiler free book review here!

Monthly Reading - June

I completely neglected to post my May reading, though admittedly that one got a little personal (yes more than this one), so probably for the best lol. Either way, we're back at it again with my reading for this month, which... is a bit interesting, to tell you the honest truth.

First thing that jumps out at me here is the tarot cards: three of the more "negative" cups cards bookended by two strong intellectual cards. We're dealing with emotional turmoil this month, folks! But the presence and position of the King and Emperor is heartening - this is manageable, and we're going to keep it together.

So, on to the reading proper...

Let's start from the top, shall we? The first rune is Sowilo - the sun. It's indicating joy, success, and good health: a very positive rune, particularly when the most imminent struggle on the horizon is Beansgiving.

The next rune, appropriately enough, is Hagalaz - hail. It's indicating chaos and sudden life-changing transformation, entirely out of my control. Particularly one in which I am being forced to alter my approach to it. [Gestures at Bean, who is still stubbornly slamming that snooze button.] Yeah, uh. Noted.

Finally we have Elhaz - the elk - in the reversed position. Not really the best one to see flipped like this, in context, but not the worst. Normally Elhaz is a rune of protection and good luck. Reversed, however, it's a warning to be on my guard for potential threats and negative influences, particularly from directions I would not normally expect.

The cards, as I mentioned, are telling a story of some inner turmoil on my part, which makes sense given the whole... you know... Bean thing. But going into this in more detail, I really can't separate the King of Swords from the Emperor here because they're kind of the same picture. They're calling for cool logic, and a general masc presence that's almost definitely pointing to my partner, who very much embodies this image entirely. But we're also going to be continuing therapy, which is by nature a compassionate but logical process, so there's a bit of that here too.

Speaking of anxiety, let's take a look at these cups, shall we? Five: we're so fixated on the negatives we can't see the good in front of us. This is in the present position, so... [stares in "past due"] yeah. I'm being the whiniest little bitch right now actually, and having a miserable time. Fight me. Four: this is the depression light card - we're withdrawing from things, we're lacking energy, we're not ready to accept the good in life because we just need some time to wallow and take a long nap, damnit. Being in the future position, yeah I can see why I might want all naps and no socialization. But it is important to remember that people do require basic things like social contact and touching grass, so... hopefully that works out for us lol. Seven: hey remember that time when you said you were going to play this all by ear and not have any expectations? Hahahaha you liar. We still have some wishful thinking to deal with here. Now, that said: this is also a shattering of negative illusions, too. It's a neat little trick we call "reality" and you're about to get checked. In this particular position, the card is indicating this will be a useful tool for me to use one way or the other, likely to help drag myself out of my emotional blergh and connect with my family and friends.

Finally, we have the oracle cards, which are pointing more in that positive direction again (and reinforcing the fact that the Bad is pretty much all in my head.)

Inspire/Wren - the healing power of music cannot and should not be underestimated. Additionally, there's going to be a lot of nonverbal communication and practice with our intuition - makes sense, given that Bean can't just tell us with words what they need/want/feel. We gotta figure that out together.

Play/Monkey - get in bitches, we're healing our childhood traumas. [Points at therapy noted above, and at the entire concept of cycle breaking.] And, pretty obviously, we're being advised to embrace the silly with Bean. Live a little. Play.

And that's all! Overall, not a bad month ahead despite the fully expected and reasonable emotional turmoil and general upheaval, which one way or another will begin this week lol. Fingers crossed everything goes well - wish us luck!

The emperor reversed could mean that an authority figure in your life is either abusing their power or being too authoritarian, but honestly I see it more as someone would try to give you some guidance and just coming across the wrong way because of the way there's phrasing it or taking into account their past behavior comes as not genuine and trying to be manipulative. On the other hand, it can also sign that you are (or will be) overthinking too much, and you need to find a way to get your self-control back, as well as bring more structure to your life.

love & relationships: the moon

If your are in a relationship... you might be doubting your relationship or feeling insecure about it, most likely this is due to miscommunication, which lead to arguments, mostly about old issues or insecurities. I would advice to ask to look into it with your partner and seek guidance before jumping to conclusions.

If you are single... this can indicate that someone you are seeing isn't being 100% honest with you, this doesn't mean that it's on purpose so they can trick you, it could honestly be because they're embarrassed or just want you to see them as someone cool, either way, be cautious.

money & career: nine of wands

In your career... you might feel like going to work/school recently has been more of a battle that has left you feeling tired and questioning if is really worth it, and the nine of wands is here to cheer you on, and tell you that it's okay to be tired and have doubts, but if you continue to give your all you will eventually find success.

It doesn't matter what kind of hardships come to you, you can (and will) overcome it, so don't lose hope.

If you are in a relationship... there are some challenges coming and you will need to put effort into overcoming them and you shouldn't wait for them to solve themselves, or let your partner handle it alone. The problems might come in the form of pointing fingers for who is to blame of certain issues, or come from an external party that is attacking one or both of you.

If you are single... you are (or will be) interested in someone, and you will have competition to get that person's affection, if you want to be with them you might have to put in extra effort to get their attention.

In your career... there might be a lack of opportunities to progress and in your job/business, so you might feel stuck.

Also I find funny that pile 1 and 2 both got almost the same cards, I get a feeling some of you really needed to see the msg and my deck wasn't about to let y'all skip it. Very fun reading to make overall, I'm just kinda sad that I ended up posting it in august already. Also for anyone who cares, I'm starting uni again this monday and depending on how things go, I won't have much time for planning readings, so please be patient and just know that I haven't abandoned this blog.

Whole of your energy: Knight of Swords

I don’t usually remember the past month’s readings (I do dozens of them so…), but I do remember you had this card flipped last month, which that alone shows movement forward in the right direction. This is regarding communication you’re getting from someone in particular, that makes you very happy, it’s everything you’ve been manifesting and dreaming of. For now, you’re keeping mum, because you don’t want to count your chickens before they hatch. You’re keeping very busy, probably continuing the work you’ve been putting into whatever you’re creating. Some of those following a spiritual path have Ascension as the ultimate goal. We are all souls in a human body who are living life on this earth in order to learn and grow at the soul’s level. That is being spiritual.

Each experience, relationship, joy, obstacle, and creation, will bring you one step closer on the ladder to where we all end - with a greater awareness of ourselves than we started out with. July Reading

I was on vacation, then I got sick, then Life, so reading this month is slower. With one exception.

I re-read books of the Alice Worth series and the Jacky Leon series, which I've talked about before. I think both are classified as urban fantasy. Alice Worth series is probably written better, but Jacky Leon holds a very special place in my heart.

Alice Worth is a MPI (Mage Private Investigator) who solves mysteries with her ghost sidekick. There's werewolves, vampires, witches, other mages, and all sorts of nasties. The series is more or less about Alice dealing with her deeply traumatic past to find love and family. The themes and lessons can hit you over the head at times with how obvious they are, but it's a fun series.

Jacky Leon is a loner werecat who gets pulled into Situations involving werewolves (enemies to the werecats), fae (technically allies but...), vampires (eh, just there for Jacky), and more. Like many a protagonist, she is also dealing with some trauma in her past and learning how to be a part of her new world and new family while also building a family of her own. I adore this series for interactions with a cute kid, Big Family Drama, and interesting politics.

Also re-read Dark Age (enjoyed it more this time, forgot about Ephraim and his broom and had to put the book down to laugh, the violence was softened because I knew what to expect but BOY) in preparation for...

Light Bringer

No spoilers

I mean. Holy shit. Pierce Brown had me in a stranglehold with the first three books of Red Rising. I was demoralized and honestly wondering, do I still love the series as much after Dark Age? After all of those awful things? Are these books just too heavy for me, has my brain been poisoned by fun romances? Light Bringer answered that question.

It's a tighter book, with less POV characters all over the place. Events are easier to follow, but that doesn't mean they are any less clever, jaw dropping, or exhilarating.

Both Iron Gold and Dark Age exhausted me while reading, like the characters themselves must have been exhausted. Light Bringer brought me back up. Hope, perseverance, love, and change are big in this book.

Brown mentioned something a while back about getting back to Darrow, remembering that he's the protagonist or something along those lines. You really feel that with Light Bringer. The other POVs are there and they serve a purpose, but I really felt the beauty of Darrow's story. The POVs also sort of...center Darrow? He feels more present throughout the book. Virginia's POV was kind of just...there? In a good way, I love all the content we get from her, but it wasn't the neatest part of the book I think. I didn't mind it while reading though.

Darrow goes on a genuine journey after such a huge loss in Dark Age. And when you reach the end, you sort of understand why the next book is called Red God. Darrow isn't a god or anything-- he doesn't feel or act that way. If anything, he has become humbled. But with the way he moves through the world and what he'll bring to his enemies and allies, it's easy to understand how the world could view him as a god.

And Lysander au Lune broke my heart but I already wrote about that

Light Bringer was also really fucking funny. Interactions between Cassius and Darrow made me grin and cry. The play between Cassius, Darrow, and Sevro was so nostalgic, I felt that in my gut. Lyria is also hysterical and, as always, a perfect sweetheart. And her traveling companions know it too :)

Monthly Reading! ❄️December 2022❄️

This month’s theme is rebirth. Only through love, kindness and courage will we be able to rise from the ashes.

How will the month of December be like? Judgement

Times of transformation await us in this snowy month. This card is telling us that this is the perfect time to experience rebirth and leave behind not only what no longer serve us, but also our old selves. We are being asked to look at our past and present with an objective mind and realize if our actions, routines, and way of being align with our desired future… if not, we need to destroy those old habits and situations that are now weighing us down and allow ourselves to surrender to change.

Like the ancient Egyptian weighing of the heart, we need to go into a process of judgement of ourselves and compare the way we are with the way we want to be. By divine law, everything you desire, desires you. Everything you want to become, you are meant to be. So why deny our blissful liberation by slaving ourselves to negative cycles and useless ego? Weigh your heart in comparison with your universal truth, are they in perfect harmony? Or are they in complete opposite paths?

Collectively, this card marks the beginning of a new era in the world. Like the angel playing his trumpet on the apocalypse, or the beautiful siren singing the melody of our deepest desires… we are being invited to follow our personal calling and new awakening. However, we are being warned that, if we do not follow said calling, we run the danger of remaining stuck in an eternal purgatory where stagnant energy blocks us from experiencing new horizons, making us deny the new visions that want to illuminate us.

At the end of the day, we need to accept new beginnings with the innocence of a child who accepts the magic and nature of things: without our egos.

What challenges will you face? 10 of Swords reversed, The Star

From environmental destruction and cruel governments abusing their power, to hostiles situations or someone we know that wants to put us down. This month’s challenges are about extreme negativity and surrendering to the ego. Everybody is falling for false ideas of their own preconceived truth. If we think the lies we tell ourselves are better that what we actually need to hear, how will we ever transcend and become better beings? New pathways are starting to form, but we need to stop resisting change, for unnecessary fear can make the sharpness of the swords painful instead of liberating. Therefore, we are being asked to transform the negativity of our surroundings and ourselves into something more positive, allowing it to fuel the light that will shows the true pathway to our heart’s desires.

The Star compliments this message by reminding us we mustn’t lose hope, for good things are awaiting us at the end of the dark forest with open arms. It doesn’t matter how difficult or heartbreaking it may be, we must leave behind everything that is impeding us to see the blessings of the future… for it’s only by opening ourselves to the possibilities of our dreams coming true that The Star appears to us and guides us to a new dawn.

How can you overcome those challenges? 5 of Pentacles

The first thought that came to mind with this card was “Damn, some of you need to be humble.” Lmao. Followed right after by remembering the movie Cinderella, which made the message of this card very clear to me.

Whether sentimental, economical or of any sort, hardships are very tough and dangerous for the heart. This is because, while it’s only through them that we can grow, by experiencing them we run into the danger of blinding ourselves with the negativity and pain certain situations are making us face. With heartbreak, we may believe love doesn’t exit or isn’t worth it. With economical problems, fear makes us believe money is all that matters and that we should hold tightly to it, and so on. We have to remember that even though the 5 of pentacles can mean poverty or loss of something that used to sustain you… it’s only doing it for it was build on falsehood and ego, making you come back to the root of what you truly are and want.

It's the way we deal with this grief what marks the kind of transformation we’ll have, either turning our hearts into cold and petrified stones or beautiful blossoming flowers. This card is asking us to not drown in the negativity of our situation and dream of the possibilities of what could be, for it’s only through the perseverance of a kind heart and starry vision that even the hardest winter would never be able to take us down.
