On a completely unrelated note, how are we dressing these days? Every morning I have no idea how to put together an outfit.

I used to have a formula that I followed much of the time: blouse, jeans, blazer. But I no longer really need to dress academically professionally (which is different from actual professional dress). I also work from home, and I live in a place that is warm, so really structured clothing and layers aren't always a good option. I like fashion but would like to have a firmer idea of my own internal sense of style, but because of my age and the playfulness and anything-goes-ness that seems to have permeated fashion recently, I feel like I'm adrift. Throw in fluctuating weight, and it's difficult to figure out what to wear that makes me feel good.

Maybe it's good I don't know how to get dressed. It suggests that I'm still open to experimentation. But, still, I don't know how to get dressed in the morning. Much of my clothing just doesn't "feel" right to me.

I'm wearing terra cotta colored trousers, a Montgomery Biscuits baseball t-shirt, a long white and gold striped duster, and tan huaraches today, and it's a crazy combo, but maybe it works??? I don't know!

me in hell: it sucks that mitski is grouped with artists like cavetown and ricky montgomery all because they’re all people on tiktok. like say what you want about all of them but they all make such different music. tiktok should be a social media app not a music genre. it also puts a bad taste in my mouth when people lump her in other female musicians like lana del rey and lorde for the same reason. we claim we don’t compare women or pit them against one another until they say or do something that doesn’t fit socital ideals of what women should be. and while some of her fans are definitely weird i feel like the polarizing reaction towards her fanbase is largely rooted in the fact that it’s predomiantly made up of teenage girls. like not to bring up a touchy subject but nirvana fans have been saying that courtney killed kurt with barely any evidence for YEARS and it hasn’t gotten nearly the same amount of pushback in the nearly three decades since he passed away that mitski’s fanbase has gotten in the three years since she went viral on tiktok for doing annoying teenager things

WELCOME TO THE ATLANTIS GEORGIAS BRACKET: ROUND 1

I wanted to call it "The Cup of Water," but I wasn't sure if that would be as clear.

Since it's March Madness, and the people of Tumblr have fallen in love with making brackets for pretty much anything, it's time we settle once and for all who the most popular Georgias player is. Sixty-four will enter, but only one can win. (Since there have only ever been sixty-one Georgias players who have seen active play, however, three NPCs have been picked to fill in the remaining slots.)

The bracket was largely seeded based on how I perceived each player's popularity to be within the Georgias' fanbase (with some margin of error), but anyone is allowed to participate in voting! Simply vote for whichever player in each matchup you like more, and winners will proceed to Round 2!

Me and Chloe from Biscuit Fund Games have started a podcast. We take two words and figure out how to mash up them as a TTRPG. It's called Game Soup and we heavily overuse laboured kitchen comparisons throughout.

The first two episodes are out now where we invent Frogtographer, Flirting with Danger, Skyward Shell, Jury of Our Peers, and Projector: 24 Frames a Second.
