The Trick or Treatment was frankly insane. Those normies were really about to publicly execute a child for vandalism. With no trial. Monster High Ghouls Rule the movie that you are.

I know this is random but I would be really interested to see people's interpretations of Chad and Clair in g3. I like to think if they were in g3 they would get along with Buddy and Yi-Ling so they can have more humans (aside from Apollo) to talk to about the monster world with.

Besides, those two stood out to me when I watched Ghouls Rule for the first time.

literally nobody has asked for this but,,, i'm currently writing a monster high fic!! It's an AU that's basically a mash of each generation -- because i feel like each generation has something to offer in terms worldbuilding and charcterisation ( yes -- even g2 loll).

It's gonna be Jackson and Holt centred + the main ghouls because i said so!! And I plan on doing alot of the worldbuilding coz i feel like the canon worldbuilding is so inconsistent?? Like do they live amongst humans?? or in an alternate dimension?? how do these relations works?? i want more monster politics and lore please!!

Also basically everyone will be some sort of queer because i am physically incapable of writing cishet ppl.

Would anyone be interest in reading smth like by any chance? or should i just leave it in the drafts lol

Whenever I hear things to do by Alex G I think of Holt Hyde but like more specifically during Ghouls Rule because of how he wasnt always brought around because people liked his company but because they preferred to have him around vs. being around Jackson even though they both share the same body and are BOTH half normie and half monster and that Jackson just happens to be normie passing, and how quickly and easily it led to him almost dying over a false accusation about something juvenile and petty and how eager the police and normie school were to kill him even though he was CLEARLY a child and I-

Frankie: So Jackson what was Normie school like?

Jackson: Literally just this but blowing up their science lab gets you detention rather then top marks.

Frankie: Huh I thought it would be so much worse then here.

Jackson: I mean, no one here’s tried to kill me, yet. And Holts actually allowed to exist here. So those are definitely plus’s but as far as welcoming places to be in? Yeah they’re both about the same.

Frankie: But this is monster high the school that accepts eve-

Jackson: Frankie, I cherish our friendship I really do. But if you tell me this place accepts me, I’m going to fry your circuits till you can actually feel pain.

Frankie:…Noted. So what was the food like?

Jackson: Oh you’d hate it, nothing even tried to eat me.

Frankie: But that’s the best part!

You know what’s absolute BS about the Ghouls Rule Movie?

The entire time the main monsters are trying to convince the humans to have equality with each other. Which, in the end, they come to an agreement of course…BUT when JACKSON the “normie” wants to be involved in literally anything at monster high everyone casts him out and is very racist towards him. So??? He never even gets an invitation to anything unless they want him to be Holt. I’m not going into better detail on this but it gets on my nerves.

HalloweenThursdayTreats SPOOKTACULAR: Monster High: Ghouls Rule, Scary Godmother, & The Nightmare Before Christmas!!!

It's time to end October with a BANG and celebrate Halloween with the monsters we all know and love. We've got our ghoulfriends from Monster High, we have a house full of monsters ready for the annual Halloween party hosted by Scary Godmother, and we've got our spooky residents at Halloween Town (not the Disney Channel's HalloweenTown) prepared to scare-it-up led by The Pumpkin King, Jack Skellington!

Let's catch up with our ghoulfriends for 2012's Monster High: Ghouls Rule where Halloween is on the horizon and Frankie Stein has never celebrated before! She believed it was a day for costumes and candy, but wasn't aware of the ongoing tension between Normies (Human Beings) and Monsters. Monster High is constantly getting unpleasant visits and pranks by the normies and some of the students have had enough. They go to "the real world" to give the Normies a little payback, but they unfortunately get into some trouble along the way and one of the students are wrongfully accused of breaking havoc on the Normie's high school, New Salem High. Who was wrongfully accused? Holt Hyde (also known as Jackson Jekyll)! It's up to the Monster High ghoulfriends to clear Holt's name and bring back the spirit of Halloween!

In 2003, Cartoon Network aired a sppoky cute 45-animated special called, Scary Godmother: Halloween Spooktacular! A group of kids led by Jimmy are ready to go trick-or-treating, but not before playing a Halloween prank on Jimmy's little cousin, Hannah who is extremely afraid of monsters. After they trick her into going "The Spookhouse", Hannah is met by Scary Godmother whose come to comfort her and show her how not all monsters are as terrifying as they seem. How does she do that? By throwing a fun cozy Halloween house party hosted by her and her roommates. Hannah soon meets a skeleton-in-the-closet, a goofy/hungry werewolf. a family of vampires, and a unique monster called Bug-A-Boo whose job is to hide under every children's bed. It's a Halloween party full of frights and giggles!

Finally, we've got a holiday classic from 1993, The Nightmare Before Christmas! The citizens of Halloween Town always make sure that each Halloween gets better every year and while the citizens all look to the mayor, they also look to Jack Skellington (The Pumpkin King) who has grown bored of the same thing each year. While wandering off with his ghost dog, Zero, he stumbles into a place called Christmas Town where he finds a new passion. He wants to understand Christmas, experience it, share it, and participate in the festivities by even becoming Sandy Claws himself! Unfortunately, that comes with a cost as Kris Kringle has been held hostage by The Oogie Boogie Man (The Boogie Man) who doesn't plan on letting him go anytime soon. Will Christmas ever be the same again? Will Halloween ever return to Halloween Town? Tune in to find out!

Honestly, I love ALL of these films! I would watch them all the time with friends and family! I felt that the best way to finish spooky season was to look back at three Halloween specials I absolutely love! I hope you've had just as much fun with these as I have! HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!
