The creature was bound to a tree. Ropes constricted every limb, the coarse rope biting into his flesh as he weakly thrashed. Normally, such restraints would prove useless against him. But his captors had placed an iron horseshoe just a small distance away from him. Just close enough to weaken him. His exhaustion was evident by the sweat upon his brow and the way his chest heaved with every breath. Every movement was a great labor that only tired him further. The sun would rise eventually. He would be completely exposed to its unforgiving rays. He paused for a moment, breathing deeply. It was then that his ears perked, picking up on an unknown presence. He grit his teeth, head hanging low. Perhaps his captors had come to taunt him one last time before his demise.

Leondas' head shot upward and he lunged as far as his restraints would allow, a snarl and sharp clicking filling the air as teeth gnashed at the air.

It wasn't unlike Lucio to stick his nose into the business of others. He'd briefly spied on this creature before when he was haunting the same town that Lucio had been. Of course he'd been curious as to who was hunting around his own haunt!

But he liked this fae creature, in his own way. And though he planned on helping, he may have been watching for longer than he would care to admit in the shadows. Admiring the way he snarled and spat and struggled against his binds.

They'd be back soon though, and who knows what they'd try to do to him. And Lucio couldn't help but being drawn to the idea of being owed. A debt to be paid.

"Shhhhhhh-" It's quiet, whispered, echoing from the darkness. A sickly pale hand wraps around a tree trunk from behind, it's long black nails strumming against the bark. Then emerges part of the face, almost translucent in color, you can see the veins spreading across the one half of his face shown.

A pitch black eye staring at the trapped one, that wide and pointed maw smiling.

"Don't hiss and snap at meeeeeee-" his voice is something airy, whispered. As though shy.

"Don't you want to be f̢̦̞r͖̞͜e͚͔͖e͙͍͎?"

Got inspired when I reread Lucio's route and he was a ghostly boy complaining about how he couldn't eat cookies. My poor goatman. :(

So I decided to make him more distressed by drawing him with his cookies.

Also, first digital piece in a while (I primarily do traditional art) but I want to do more now.

There is a speedpaint for this that I plan to upload, so I'll post when I do.

I made a discord server almost a year ago for The Arcana/Fictif fans to hang out. It's gotten kind of quiet since as I haven't had the energy to maintain it. I plan on reviving it now. So I thought I'd drop the new link in case anyone is interested.

I'm also thinking of expanding to new fandoms such as Obey Me.

It is a very small and quiet space. But the people there are lovely and welcoming. It's also a safe space for queer and neurodivergent folk too.

We currently only have two mods, and are looking for more if anyone is interested after they've established themselves.

There are places to also talk about games, writing, and share art all outside of the games too.

But we'd love to have you come and hang out if you're interested. 💖✨😎
