Der Verein Wörth8 e.V. ist jetzt offiziell eingetragen und wir sind dabei die Wörth8 Haus GmbH notariell bestätigen und eintragen zu lassen. Unsere Öffentlichkeitsarbeit ist wieder voll in Fahrt: Am Osterwochenende waren wir ganz groß in der TAZ taz.de/Haeuserkampf-in-Muenchen vertreten, vergangene Woche beim Bayerischen Rundfunk in der Abendschau www.ardmediathek.de/video/abendschau-der-sueden/das-ist-unser-haus Wir haben unsere Initiative auf der Bürgerversammlung Haidhausen vor vielen Politiker*innen und Bürger*innen vorgestellt, haben uns beim Mieter*innenstammtisch vernetzt und mit vielen Leuten gesprochen, die wie wir um ihr Haus kämpfen. Dazu Informationen über das Projekt und das Mietshäuser-Syndikat, eine Fotoausstellung im Treppenhaus, Getränke und ein Buffet in Hinterhof. Kommt gerne vorbei! Eure Absichtserklärungen bilden ein starkes Fundament. Dennoch bedarf es wohl noch einige Wochen, um die Finanzierung zu sichern. this week

theatre: fun home, mtc/stc. yes, actual in person musical theatre before my very eyes. the first live entertainment of any kind that i've seen in two years. it was great, the cast was surprisingly fantastic (derogatory to australian musical theatre doing american productions in general), and having never seen it before i felt a few gay feelings in my gay little heart.

tv: inventing anna, netflix. i should not have but did end up sitting through all 10 hours of this. why was it so long? why was it mostly about the reporter? why did characters literally disappear halfway through, never to be seen again? how did it make ripping off uberwealthy idiots who can't keep track of their own money boring? shondaland has a really, really specific vibe both in terms of narrative and aesthetics that just did not work for this story. the shondaland cinematic universe takes place in upper middle class suburbia, even when it's happening at the white house, and anna delvey is none of that. this show had no idea why anyone would be interested in anna delvey, and it didn't bother to try and understand, so instead we got someone literally yelling "it's about class?" and this really odd angle of the reporter and the lawyer coming to think of her as their child or something? 0/10 do not recommend, and in fact shonda rhimes owes me for my time.
