shovel knight having an option to change all the important characters' gender, with pronoun and sprite changes, is super rad, but its also kinda funny since it meant in my playthrough, every important character was a woman

#the whiplash of experincing a story that HEAVILY favors female characters especially one that had nothing to do with gender is such whiplash #i played the first two missions before running into ONE male character and he was tucked away in a corner surrounded by women #mole knight and tinker knight where allowed to remain men #only because i dont care about them #“you can stay a man (derogatory)”#shovel knight
