The house is nice, the grounds are nicer

This abandoned concrete swimming pool was swarming with damselflies and dragonflies, 10/10 best part of the château

The valley below the château, also very pretty. A lot of the paths are barred with gates, which stunts some of the exploration.

My thoughts:

*sorry if this triggers someone* I just constantly feel like this modavation less, insomniac, useless depressing mess all the time. And the only time I don't feel like this is when I find things to distract myself from it. Or I self harm by scratching/pinching myself. When it gets really bad I say this my head: if something happens to me it will make my mom and sisters sad. And I'm just tired of this constantly cycle. But I can't do anything else. I have to live.

Wiele krain bogatych w kryptydy obrosło w legendy. Nie jest jednak tajemnicą, że Madagaskar do dziś stanowi zapomnianą wyspę porosłą tropikalnym światem. Prócz bowiem niezwykłych łaszy-drapieżców czy gigantycznych ludzkich lemurów kraj ten skrywa niejedną jeszcze niespodziankę. W 1648 i 1661 roku Admirał Étienne de Flacourt - gubernator francuzów na Madagaskarze wspominał o pewnej dzikiej  bestii podobnej do konia i zwał ją mangarsahoc.

Pisze on:

W relacji z 1770 roku hrabia de Modave podał w swej korespondencji, że zwierzę to żyje w odległych rejonach jakieś dziesięć mil od Fort-Dauphin. opisuje je tak: "Murzyni bardzo się tego zwierzęcia boją i podają przerażające opisy; w gruncie rzeczy jest to tylko dziki osioł. Żyje ich wiele w tej części wyspy, ale trzeba ich szukać w lasach, gdyż nigdy nie opuszczają miejsc bezludnych i trudno dostępnych." Decary powiada, że krajowcy w Anosy nazywają te zwierzę mangaro - tsaoka ( co znaczy "którego uszy zakrywaja brodę"). Nieoficjalna nauka posiada sporo relacji dotyczących dzikich osłów na Madagaskarze, szczególnie z dystryktów Bealanana i Minikenjy.

Hard to remember that we are about half way thought summer brake now.

The summer solstice party is over and a small amount of sanity has returned to life.

See, May was my personally craft month. With work ending, wisdom teeth removal and then a big larp event at the end. For the rest of the family mid June is the crazy part, as the month becomes prep work for the party. Making sure the house work is done, food is gotten, fireworks and the whole thing. So its always a nice feeling once that party is over, as long as your able to ignore all the dishes and such that need to be finished. (They are in the list, but have to be done in parts and as much as I love housemate but trying to modavate them to do stuff takes a while, and if I try and do it they get upset) Now I get to work in projects and do what little fun stuff that I can cram into the month of July other then the few shifts that I need to work next week. I am thinking that I may go questing next weekend, as there is a fun event that should be happening after helping to run one this month. It would be nice to be able to go out and do that. Thought I have to check to make sure my tent is all good and such before I go to do it, and make a prop or two that where behind because I hadn't been able to play in a while. Thankfully I should have all or most of the parts and all that would be needed is to recopy some things over.

Otherwise, things have been going as well as can be expected this summer. Life is happening and sanity is being keeped.
