While I'm clearing out old files from my old phone as I'm waiting for my computer to finish its surprise update, I found some nice idea dumps.

More steampunk…? Whatever futuristic magic AU with automata Larshen:

A!Rhen had the idea of collecting mana cores from other machines; A!Lars thought of using them for body mods to imbue mana and spells so that they can fight better.

One of A!Rhen's fave mods is the Callback. It basically transports her to where A!Lars is. (Or vice versa, on his case.)

A!Lars' fave mod is Auto-Heal. Heals regenerate their body stamina using mana. (Basically stamina is their HP as top-notch squirrel-approved automatons that don't easily crumble, but they still need rest to cool down and lessen the strains on their machinery systems.)

Since A!Rhen's physically stronger, she can just force chests, crates, barrels, doors, and windows open. Or walls. She just strikes through walls with her fists. A!Lars is very impressed.

A!Lars probably has volumes of journals chronicling nerdy information about their bodies. Rhen has volumes of diaries relating to their highly personal experiences instead.

Do robots feel love? I think they're very attached to each other, to the point that they never really leave each other's side unless highly necessary to accomplish quests/missions. But does it qualify as romantic love? Hm.

The automatons aren't very fond of their originals. That said, they refer to their originals as their (individual) "parents" and try their best not to feel attached to the other people in the memories that had been passed on to them.

comphet is keeping me from calling myself a lesbian and so i settle with sapphic instead. both labels have history ofc, but theres a pride in the word lesbian that just sings to me, and being one makes me even more proud to be myself, but for the life of me i just cant call myself a lesbian, at least not consistently.

like on my blog I'll have "lesbian" in my bio, rhen maybe a few minutes later or days if ive ridden the high of it for a while, I'll change it to "sapphic" instead and i just.... idk why. part of me like "its safer that way, just incase you do fall for a guy one day" or some bs like that. its annoying.

do you know if theres anyway i can overcome comphet so i can just be proud of who i am?

So- this is my (mod [edit]) personal stance on it- I think you should identify as a lesbian fully until you are proven otherwise, which likely will never happen from what little I know about you. Even if one day you do fall for a guy, there's no shame in changing labels once you've figured out who you are! I used to call myself "bi with a preference" because I find myself most attracted to transguys and butch women, and once I figured out that made me biologically a lesbian it was certainly hard to transition into using that term. I felt a little embarrassed for having used the wrong term for such a long time, but I found myself in a group of really accepting people and realized- nobody cared! (In a good way). people who act high and mighty over the fact that perhaps they knew their correct label all along are not worth hanging around, and there should never be any shame unto yourself for exploring your identity.

Another way you could overcome all this is to know that Sapphic litterally means "relating to lesbians or lesbianism" congrats! You have been participating in lesbianism the whole time. I applaud you.

I don't know if any of this will actually help, but I can hope it will. Other mods might respond to this as well in their own time. If you ever need help with anything else, don't be scared to send us an ask, we love recieving them <3

Modded Life

After what seemed like months of awkward distance, the group had finally come to accept what happened behind the Ruins doors. None bothered to bring the topic up, deciding it was best to leave it back with the antique building. 

It took a lot of convincing to get Pappy out of that reclusive shell again, even more to visit people outside their timeline whom he had feelings for. The one that finally got him to leave home, oddly enough, was Vesper. His other half had threatened to separate from his body, like Rhen could from Rei, just to get to the people he had been avoiding. 

It’s at this point that the observer over the lot decides to tweak a setting or two.

Guided by a glitch and scientist of separate worlds, Rigor erases Vurnan’s option to ‘Continue’ despite death. As for Rei, he permits only 3 Resets. Just 3 chances and no more. It seemed more than reasonable to the serpent. 

One last change was made; the ability to remember the individual that had reset time. From now on, it’d be a completely blank slate where Rei could choose her path from scratch just like everyone else whom held the god-like ability to rewind time.

But he chose the wrong moment to perform such drastic changes. Rigor didn’t account for what Vurnan would do in the lull after Rita Faust’s death...
