after 4 minutes the song says

and i think i will never be the same again.

but then the next second passes and i realize

i'm just the same as i always have been

and maybe that comforts me more.

obsessed with a new movie,

a new fictional boy,

i'm thinking i should break up with the real one.

he texts me and says,

"can you believe that it's only been 2 months since we became partners?"

and i ignore him again,

wait until i'm ready to respond.

maybe i'm just not built for it.

i listen to the song on repeat,

blink my eyes because i want to cry
