Now this is how you make a blockbuster. I must admit I didn't love it as much as Hideaki Anno's cerebral and complex Shin Godzilla, which lives rent free in my head, but this one is still a fantastic piece of popcorn cinema. The human drama is very engaging, and all of Godzilla's scenes are stunning. The CGI is nothing short of awe-inspiring, and it only gets even more impressive when you realize this movie was made for like 10% the budget of most Hollywood blockbusters. So yeah, while Godzilla Minus One will not go down as my favorite movie in this franchise, it's masterfully crafted and undeniably entertaining.

Judgment: Pierre Taki Restoration Patch by Canzah

This is an unofficial patch for Judgment, or Judge Eyes as it's known in Japan, meant to restore Kyohei Hamura's original appearance and Japanese voice to the likeness of the actor that portrayed him in the original, launch version of Judge Eyes in Japan, Pierre Taki.

To explain the reason for this patch existing you'll need to understand the history of what happened with production of the game. Originally, famous Japanese actor Pierre Taki portrayed Kyohei Hamura, who is a very important character in the game. The game came out in December of 2018 in Japan, and mere 3 months after that in March of 2019, Pierre Taki was arrested for possession and use of cocaine. This resulted in what is known as "cancel culture", where all companies and employers of Taki started to erase his contributions out of existence, SEGA being no exception to this. The game was immediately pulled from store shelves and digital storefronts, preventing anyone from being able to buy the game outside of second hand used copy market. In July of 2019, the game was re-released in Japan as Judge Eyes: New Price Version, with the major change in that version being the replacement of Pierre Taki as Kyohei Hamura's actor, whose model was changed to a generic thug not based on any actor and all his voice lines redubbed by the unfortunately less than stellar performance from a Japanese voice actor Miou Tanaka, known primarily for voicing generic "grunt" characters. And, as expected, the western release of the game was based on the aforementioned New Price Version with Pierre Taki removed and replaced. Because I stand against both censorship and "cancel culture", I've decided to create a patch for the western version of the game that would restore Pierre Taki as Kyohei Hamura's actor in the game. Upon discussing the idea with Slow and Timo, we decided to pool money together and order the now rare and expensive original Japanese version of the game with Pierre Taki's inclusion, upon which I took the necessary files from it and created this restoration patch for your enjoyment.

All appearances of Kyohei Hamura in the game, be it cutscene, gameplay, voice or even UI and credits related are now portrayed by Pierre Taki. Patch is for the CUSA13197 release of the game, and confirmed working with DUPLEX release, running on a 6.72 jailbroken PS4.

    Synopsis

  Historically 72% of all the deaths in London are related to dragons, fantastical beings invisible to the majority of the people.

  While unknown to most, some people have been standing up to these dragons.

  Only inhabitants of Reverse London who live in the hidden “reverse” side of London can see the dragons. Even then, only a selected few become qualified enough as witches or wizards to make direct contact with them.

  The protagonists of the story are witch duo Noel Niihashi and Ninny Spangcole. They are protection agents for Wing Bind (WB), an organization for dragon conservation and management. Their mission is to protect and manage the dragons within London on behalf of the people.

  The story of witches Noel and Ninny continue with BURN THE WITCH Season 2 manga, it was announced on September 14 in the final chapter of the limited series which ran for four chapters in Weekly Shonen Jump over the last few weeks. Not much else is known about 'Season 2' of the Bleach spin-off other than the visual below with "draft pages", but we do know it's "coming soon..."

Sega has released new information and screenshots of Yakuza: Like a Dragon introducing Omi Alliance character Mitsuo Yasumura, Yousuke Tendou, and Reiji Ishioda.

■ Omi Alliance

Kansai’s largest yakuza organization. Based in Sotenbori, Osaka, a major entertainment district in the west that rivals Kamurocho, Tokyo in the east. After the fall of the Tojo Clan as a result of the police policy known as the “Kamurocho 3K Operation,” the Omi Alliance took control of Kamurocho.

Mitsuo Yasumura (voiced by Satoshi Tsuruoka)

Also known by the nickname Mitsu. During Ichiban Kasuga’s wakashu days in the Arakawa Family of the Tojo Clan, Yasumura was considered his only brother and the two shared a strong bond. He continues to serve Masumi Arakawa, even after the Arakawa Family switched from the Tojo Clan to the Omi Alliance.

Yousuke Tendou (voiced by Miou Tanaka)

A wakagashira assistant of the Omi Alliance. He was once a famous professional boxer, but ended up in the world of the yakuza after a scandal.

Reiji Ishioda (voiced by Shou Hayami)

A wakagashira assistant of the Omi Alliance. He is a violent yakuza known for his daring behavior, who takes what he wants through brute force.

Personal Comment:

The first experimental production since the Trial Performance as it would be the first time the Musical Touken Ranbu has done a full in-character 2.5D solo live, and it looks the first day was a huge success! Also, I'm loving how so many of, not just the cast, but also the staff and crew showed up to show their support for the franchise, the team and, of course, their soutaichou (loosely translated to “captain-commander” or “head captain”, which is the informal title that the production people and the fans use to refer to Ryuji because he was one of the unofficial company leaders for “Atsukashiyama Ibun” and Kashuu Kiyomitsu was the first Touken Danshi to officially be appointed captain in Toumyu) xD

And, we finally get a reunion of Team Sanjou after such a long while! It's fitting, I guess, that this happened during SatoKiyo's solo live with all of them showing up to support their captain ♥ How adorable is that fan with the comment of "Captain Kashuu!!" written on it (and with Shunya and Tsubatan obviously dressed in Kiyo's colours xD). Also, do I see a hint of red and black there Imarin? LOL!

I'm also kind of aw-ing at how many of them managed to turn up for the Genepro performance. I'm not sure about the rest, but Shunya had a LINE LIVE, Imarin had an evening performance in another production and Tsubatan had an interview on the same day right after the Genepro performance, and they still took time out of their busy schedules to attend as a show of their support ��� ♥ ♥

Also, Digitarou-san xDDDD I’m still not over how he visited the final rehearsal, attended the Genepro performance *and* also attended the first public performance. The best part? He Tweeted about all of it. LOL! Once after the rehearsal. Once after the Genepro. And once after the first public performance.

Funimation Releases English Subtitled Megalobox 2: Nomad Trailer with April 4th Premiere Date

  Funimation has released its own English-subtitled trailer for Megalobox 2: Nomad on Twitter, the sequel to the 2018 sleeper hit Megalobox produced by TMS Entertainment for Ashita no Joe's 50th anniversary. As previously reported, the main cast and staff from the first season will reprise their respective roles, while the following new cast members and characters have been added:

February, 2006—.

Two months since the “10 Billion Yen Incident.”

Yukio Terada, who was nominated by Kazuma Kiryu, the Fourth Chairman of the Tojo Clan, and became the Fifth Chairman, promoted a policy to recruit new blood called the “Tojo Clan Reform” in order to rebuild the Tojo Clan on the economic front following the collapse of its foundations in the previous incident.

Progressively appoint those who can earn regardless of means, and eliminate those who cannot. And appoint the most hardworking person to “waka gashira,” the position of which is currently vacant.

Terada enforced measures for senior leadership, fearing the fall of authority, to push through with heavy restraints. As a result, Majima Family boss Goro Majima, who produced large profits in the buying and selling of real estate, and Uematsu Family boss Akinobu Uematsu, a rising influence, competed for the position of waka gashira. In the meantime, the Majima Family offices were attacked by men who seem to be with the Uematsu family.

Single-handedly, Majima marches into the Uematsu family’s office. But within it was a scene even he couldn’t imagine—.

Makoto Makimura (voiced by Miyuki Sawashiro)

A woman who was caught up in a conflict involving the “Empty Lot” about 20 years ago. At the time of the incident, she was temporarily blind due to a mental illness, but is now recovered. She works as a chiropractor in Sotenbori.

Ryouta Kawamura (voiced by Naoto Takeda)

A young clan member who admires Majima and proactively approached the Majima family. While he may be a little careless, he is loved by the senior family members because of his sociable personality. He was entrusted with driving and taking care of personal belongings, and always acts with Majima.

Kei Iibuchi (voiced by Takehito Koyasu)

A man with a unique background in consultation. He possesses an overwhelming amount of knowledge and the capacity for making rational judgments. Like Uematsu, he was appointed the leader of a sub-clan around the time Terada was inaugurated as Fifth Chairman. He has a mutual, “give-and-take” relationship with Uematsu. He dislikes senior management, who are fixated on old values like moral obligations and humanity.

Akinobu Uematsu (voiced by Miou Tanaka)

A capable man who was chosen as leader of a sub-clan by the wakashu of the tertiary organization. Terada, who is rushing to implement his Tojo Clan Reform policy to recruit new blood, values his ability. He is the man who currently earns the most money in the Tojo Clan. He is aiming for the seat of “waka gashira,” which is currently vacant. He is also hostile to Majima, who is also a contender for waka gashira.

■ Battle

Pocket Weapons

In this game, you can use your favorite weapons at any time by storing them in your pocket. Tke advantage of this system when taking on formidable enemies and large groups to use a weapon best suited to the situation.

Charge Attack

The “Charge Attack” is a powerful and unmatched attack that knocks back the enemy with a single blow. You can unleash this attack by long-pressing and “building up.” Analyze the situation such as the amount and variety of enemies, and use it “from standing,” “from running,” and even “from Charge Attack to Charge Attack.”

Komaki Training

Sotaro Komaki, the legendary martial artist who appeared in the previous title (Yakuza: Kiwami), will appear again in this game.

By “training” with Komaki, you can master the Komaki style of ancient martial arts. By mastering these “soft” techniques, which are different from Kazuma Kiryu’s brawler techniques, and the Komaki style of ancient martial arts, you will be able to significantly expand your range of combat.

There are also Komaki style Heat Actions. The “Komaki Style Fist Reversal” is a strong counter Heat Action used against an opponent’s attack. This is an omni-directional attack that hits the enemy with a counter no matter the direction from which they attack. It sees through the movement of the enemy’s strength and knocks them back with a powerful and unmatched blow. By training with Komaki, you can master this technique.

Friendship Heat Actions

People who have become “familiar” with Kiryu can cooperate with him in battles against enemies. For this, there are dedicated Heat Actions called “Friendship Heat Actions.” For example, the old man who runs the ramen shop or the woman who runs the snack bar will use the tools of the trade to which they devote themselves in order to support Kiryu in battle. Each Heat Action is unique and a must-see.

Example #1: By frequenting the “Kyushu Ichiban Boshi” ramen shop and making friends with the manager, you can unleash a “Friendship” Heat Action that damages enemies with a bowl of piping hot ramen.

Example #2: By making friends with the woman who runs the “Atenshi” snack bar, you can unleash a “Friendship” Heat Action that damages the enemy with… whatever tool there is of her trade (?).

In addition to these two shops, you can become a “familiar face” at various shops in Kamurocho and Sotenbori.

New Heat Actions

Heat Actions that can be unleashed in all sorts of scenes are well and alive in this game. In addition to the updated Heat Actions from Yakuza 6: The Song of Life, a variety of super flashy techniques have been added. Take advantage of the situation and environment to unleash various Heat Actions. Each one is an exhilarating and exceptional attack.

Majima Goro’s Ever-Changing Battle Style – Additional Scenario: “The Truth of Majima Goro”

Majima Goro utilizes his speed to fight with an ever-changing attack style. While keeping alive the feeling of exhilaration offered by previous playable incarnations of Majima Goro, this game uses the Dragon Engine to incorporate a system in which enemy reactions change based on the body part, direction, and angle Majima’s attack hits, and is tailored to give combat a more intuitive feeling than previous games.

Majima Goro’s battle style is characterized by his always-equipped “Chimera Dagger” and long-reaching attacks, and has a completely different feeling of control when compared to Kiryu’s battle style.

New Clan Creator

Legendary wrestlers Keiji Mutoh, Masahiro Chono, Riki Choshu, Genichiro Tenryu, and Tatsumi Fujinami will appear as rival characters in the “New Clan Creator” play spot, and stand in the path of protagonist Kazuma Kiryu. On a construction site crowded with muscular men, will Kiryu be able to defeat these legendary wrestlers?

With the New Clan Creator play spot, you can enjoy dynamic strategy battles in which hundreds of characters participate. Kiryu will become the site foreman of Majima Construction, and in order to protect the facility from outside enemies, he will carefully deploy its workers and issue them instruction.

Workers have various abilities and special technical skills, and whether or not you use them skillfully is the key to either victory or defeat. In addition to legendary wrestlers, many familiar characters from the Yakuza series will also appear. By connecting to the network, you can check the national rankings and take on numerous limited missions.

Yakuza: Kiwami 2 is due out for PlayStation 4 in Japan on December 7.
