For story purposes I looked up world record of pushups done, to see what would qualify as an absurd amount, one result I got was a Japanese guy by the name of Minoru Yoshida who did 10,507 pushups non-stop in 1980 and I want to know what demons was haunting that man

I.
PERSONALITY.
age: twenty-seven pronouns: she/her sexuality: bisexual likes: competitive sports, drinking, cold weather, tabletop/video games. dislikes: horror movies, small talk, technology, early mornings. fears: losing touch of what's real; hallucinating. also, being isolated. desires: to be appreciated. whether that's through her friends or her job, she just wants to know she's doing a good job.
RELATIONSHIPS.
love interest: nanami kento friends: nanami kento, gojo satoru, kiryu tsukiko (@gunslingerorchid's oc), ichiro yoshida (male oc) family: sato chiyo (mother), sato botan (father), sato minoru (grandfather), sato haru (brother), sato ren (brother)
II.
born on may 7th, 1990 in the bunkyo ward in tokyo.
grew up with her parents and two younger brothers in the heart of the city.
was kind of a shy kid up until her father offered her a "job" helping him coach the tokyo university's baseball team. then she became a lot more sociable.
at around age seven though, she started hallucinating monsters, unaware that they were actually curses until about six months after when she was sent to her grandfather's house.
once there, she began to learn about their family history and how some members were, quote, "destined for greater things."
at first, she wasn't keen on the idea of being different. but, as she got older and started taking on more responsibilities, she discovered that she genuinely enjoyed helping people and began to dream of becoming a proper sorcerer.
because of this, she started combat training around twelve alongside lessons in energy manipulation with her grandfather. both of which ultimately led to her further developing her allocation technique, which she can use to collect and redistribute cursed energy.
during this time, she also discovered her love for competitive sports. specifically wrestling and boxing which she started taking lessons for until inevitably enrolling for school at the tokyo technical college.
III.
INNATE TECHNIQUE.
— ALLOCATION; after making physical contact, hitomi can manipulate the output of her target's cursed energy by adding or subtracting a small percentage inside her own body.
EXTENSION TECHNIQUE 1.
—APPENDAGE; hitomi has the ability to extend her technique into whatever objects she touches. meaning, if the target is hit by said object the effects of her curse are still valid.
EXTENSION TECHNIQUE 2.
—ASSIGN; after subtracting a portion of a targets cursed energy, hitomi can reassign it to an ally through touch.
REVERSE TECHNIQUE.
—ADMINISTER; when injured, if enough excess energy still remains, hitomi can use it to temporarily heal herself.
BINDING VOW.
—REVEALING ONE'S HAND; by divulging how her cursed technique works, hitomi can maximize the output of cursed energy into her next attack.
*CURRENTLY A GRADE 2 SORCERER.
#oc: sato hitomi#jjk oc#jujutsu kaisen oc#sorcerer oc#will probably update with more lore as time goes on#for now though#here she is!

Mahouka Fridays are the best.. only a few more left this season!
Things really starting to heat up with the hunt for Gongjin Zhou. Pretty neat seeing all the various families form temporary alliances to deal with him. The Yotsuba, Kudou, Saegusa etc all want buddy gone. And from what we’ve seen of his combat abilities it probably will take all of em working together to do it.
I forgot Minami was even a character it’s been so long since we saw her lol. Getting strong ship vibes from she and Retsu’s grandson Minoru.. speaking of which damn he’s OP. Short but very satisfying display of his abilities during that ambush. Could give Tatsuya a run for his money some day.
Speaking of ship vibes, loving the development between Shibata and Yoshida. Yoshida acting as her body guard is a perfect way to finally get them on the right path, love how flustered the two of them get! I don’t blame Yoshida for confronting Tatsuya, I know he gotta keep some stuff a secret, but definitely would be advantageous to at least give some insight to his friends as to what they’re up against..
RIP Saegusa butler. Tried his best to take on Zhou but uh yea.. at least he tried.
Can’t wait for next week!

Jitsuko Yoshimura in An Innocent Witch (Heinosuke Gosho, 1965)
Cast: Jitsuko Yoshimura, Kin Sugai, Taiji Tonoyama, Minoru Terada, Keizo Kawasaki, Yoshio Yoshida, Eijiro Tono, Takayuki Akutagawa. Screenplay: Hideo Horie, based on a novel by Hajime Ogawa. Cinematography: Sozaburo Shinomura. Art direction: Totetsu Hirakawa. Film editing: Sadako Ikeda. Music: Sei Ikeno.
An Innocent Witch begins like a documentary, with a voiceover narration describing the pilgrimages to Mount Osore, where the faithful gather to ask blind seers to facilitate communication with their dead loved ones. One of the pilgrims is Kikuno (Kin Sugai), who wants to speak with her daughter, Ayako (Jitsuko Yoshimura). As the seer goes into her trance, the film switches abruptly to a conventional narrative in which we learn that Ayako was sold -- willingly, it seems -- into prostitution by her mother because Ayako's father (Yoshio Yoshida) is too ill to continue supporting the family as a fisherman and gatherer of seaweed. (The father is never told about Ayako's work as a prostitute; he thinks only that she has gone to the city to earn more money.) In the brothel, Ayako loses her virginity to her first customer, a wealthy lumber wholesaler named Kansuke (Taiji Tonoyama). Pleased with the young woman, Kansuke becomes Ayako's regular customer. Then one evening a shy young man named Kanjiro (Minoru Terada) arrives with his fellow military cadets and Ayako relieves him of his virginity. They begin to fall in love, but just before he is called up for service, Kanjiro realizes that his own father, Kansuke, has been one of Ayako's customers. Kansuke, it turns out, has been aware that Kanjiro has also been seeing Ayako, and doesn't really mind sharing her with his son. But Ayako has promised Kanjiro that she won't see his father again, and when Kansuke insists on having sex with her anyway, he dies of an apparent heart attack. Soon word arrives that Kanjiro has also died at the front. The coincidence of the deaths of a father and son causes Ayako to be labeled a "femme fatale." But while visiting Kanjiro's grave, Ayako meets his older brother, Kanichi (Keizo Kawasaki), and her involvement with this ill-fated family deepens into further tragedy. The film climaxes with Ayako seeking a kind of exorcism that will purify her of guilt, but that, too, has fatal consequences. The core story of An Innocent Witch is very well handled by screenwriter Hideo Horie and director Heinosuke Gosho, but the framing of it in the context of a documentary about the search for communication with the afterlife feels awkward, as if Horie and Gosho were trying to impose a larger statement about the consequences of superstition on the material. Ayako's story speaks for itself without extra help.
