Blog Title: 10 Simple Swaps for a More Sustainable College Life
"Small changes, big impact: Transform your campus lifestyle one step at a time."
Living sustainably in college doesn’t have to be overwhelming. By making simple swaps, you can reduce waste and contribute to a greener planet. Here are 10 practical changes to get started:
Reusable Water Bottles: Ditch single-use plastics and invest in a durable water bottle.
Eco-Friendly Stationery: Opt for recycled notebooks and refillable pens.
Digital Notes: Go paperless by using apps like OneNote or Evernote.
Thrift Shopping: Find unique outfits while reducing fashion waste.
Compost Bins: Turn food scraps into compost if your dorm allows it.
LED Bulbs: Replace old lightbulbs with energy-saving LEDs.
Reusable Shopping Bags: Carry eco-friendly bags for groceries or supplies.
Second-Hand Furniture: Furnish your dorm with preloved items instead of new ones.
Carpool or Bike: Reduce your carbon footprint by sharing rides or cycling to class.
Sustainable Diet Choices: Incorporate plant-based meals into your routine.
By integrating these habits, you’ll not only save money but also inspire others in your community to adopt eco-conscious practices. Sustainability begins with everyday choices, and these small adjustments can collectively create a significant impact.

Sustainable Promotional Products
Promotional products are a great way to get your brand’s message out, but they can also be a potential source of waste. With an increase in demand for eco-friendly and sustainable products, the use of sustainable promotional products is becoming increasingly popular.
Sustainable promotional products are those that are made from materials that are renewable or recyclable, such as bamboo, organic cotton and recycled plastic. They are also usually manufactured with minimal energy consumption and have minimal impact on the environment. Furthermore, many companies are now offering biodegradable and compostable promotional products as well.
Using sustainable promotional products can help to promote your brand in a positive light, as it shows customers that your company cares about the environment. Additionally, sustainable promotional products can help to reduce your company’s carbon footprint and minimize waste.
When selecting sustainable promotional products, it’s important to consider the source of the materials and the company’s production processes. This can help to ensure that the products are truly sustainable and that they will have a minimal environmental impact.
By choosing sustainability over convenience, you can make a positive impact on the environment while still promoting your brand. Sustainable promotional products are a great way to show your commitment to green practices and demonstrate your brand’s values.

Slow Fashion Season 2019
Tumblr media
Slow Fashion Season started two days ago and I am so excited about it! And I finally decided to upcycle old men’s shorts to shorts appropriate for me. I am really pleased with the effect!
Recently I think about #buynothingnew more. When I have an opportunity I always choose buying things secondhand. Sometimes I cannot but I buy what I really need. For example last week I have bought new sewing threads. I was looking for online announcements but I have not found anything. I am sewing a lot and my old ones was so old that they crack all the time and it irritated me. So after that I decided to buy new threads, forgive me :D
Tumblr media
My tip about “fashion” is to know your wardrobe. I always try to remember what clothes I own and I take care about them. I repair my clothes and I can sew so it makes my life much easier 😁 I am not a shopaholic so I do not consider buying new clothes as my problem. On the other hand I still try to convince my sister to stop buying as many new clothes as she does. I can see some progress and I urged her to sell online some of her things. She found a lot of new ones in ther big wardrobe. I am happy that she is on right way to change and I am proud of her!
I am also very grateful that 14487 participants (including me) joined the action. I hope that the following 3 months of challenge will be an interesting experience for us!

Hello!
I just wanted to say how much I love making letcho! 💛
I love the taste and the colours of it! ❤
As a child I always enjoyed letcho made by my mother and now I can make my own. The only difference is that I don't use any meat to cook it. My mom always added sausages. I only use zucchinis, sweet peppers, tomatoes, onions and spices like pepper, salt and spicy pepper powder 🥒🍅🌶
But there are lots of letcho recipes to be honest I enjoy making my own vegetarian one 🌱
