I want to tell u a couple facts about her from my AU)

- The youngest of the Hosts of the Overworld World.

- She opposed peaceful races becoming hostile.

- Action was categorically against giving Villagers (future Illagers) weapons. However, the other Hosts, especially Foresight, decided everything for her, not paying attention to the opinion of the youngest of them.

- After defeating piglins, she wanted to send the Hero back to where they were called from, but her wish was ignored again.

overall i continue to be unable to come down with any stance on ai art other than if you try to define it as not art on the basis of xyz factors then you necessarily have to exclude many pieces of "traditional" art as well. like in that last post there's someone in the replies saying real art has a time-consuming process - photography immediately makes a lie of that. and so on. if art takes effort then the likes of The Fountain aren't art. what most people seem to want to express is that art by "humans" has a quality which is independent of the piece itself, which makes it art, but also that they Just Don't Like ai art and will retroactively invent any reason to justify their personal taste. and they all sound like greek statue pfps on twitter

I’ve never really talked about it, but SCP Philza’s gender gets weirder the longer I look at it. A conceptual/metaphorical being doesn’t necessarily have much use for a gender (unless human interpretation of the concept involves gender). Nearly all conceptuals encountered in Fault (mostly voidlings) use they/them or the occasional it/its, but Philza distinctly doesn’t. Very few conceptuals are powerful enough to create a physical body, which Philza did in order to become humanish. I think in that quest Phil found it convenient to have a gender when interacting with humans. And he mostly registers as male bc patriarchy and it made things easier, but also societal expressions of gender changed so much in human history so Philza doesn’t have a super firm grasp on it. And given how tied Philza’s physical form is to mental state and self perception, his body’s sex was pretty fluid over the millennia.

So Philza ends up as a genderless being that presents in a way that modern western society would read as conflicting gender markers, such as having a beard and long hair, deep voice and name ending in -a, etc. (Emphasis on characteristics being gendered based on customs, of COURSE.) I think it makes for an interesting contrast with scp Tubbo, who has multiple genders from the hivemind, but who presents with more stereotypical androgyny, ie lacking traditionally gendered characteristics.

what if shad's daughter was absolutely terrified? what if she tried to find her mother amidst the blinding light of the canon and cry for her? what if she begged for help, the best way a little girl can, only to realize no one was coming to help? what if she died terrified and angry at being abandoned and that agony was immortalized in her relic?

and what if this is what makes the relic so volatile? eirene may say all sacrifices are necessary for the betterment of the world, but how is a child going to understand that her mother chose everything else, anything else but her? how is she going to forgive? how is she supposed to let go?

and what if she could communicate this to her father, the only one she knows to be in her corner? after the absorption of the relic, she hears him cry all night. she listens to every prayer and she doesn't understand the fervent hush but she thinks she can answer them. so slowly, incrementally, her fear bleeds into his body, her memories become his, until suddenly

he knows.

he knows she lied. he knows her tears were fake when she wept next to him. he knows eirene killed his daughter.

but most importantly, he knows his daughter is not truly dead.

she's in his heart, hidden behind ribs and meat and flesh, where she can't be reached and can't be hurt. this may not be how he wanted to carry his daughter, but he won't risk losing her again.

even if it means giving everything else up.
