Trip Down Memory Lane: MaM

Madara: Meeting Kuro-san, someone whom I can go all out with when we play, is such a stroke of luck for meee ♪

Madara: Hmm, you’re asking about those days, huh… …? A lot was happening back then, and also, I’d been travelling all over the world, you knowww~

I returned to Yumenosaki in the Spring as a third-year student, carrying out activities as [MaM]. 

As you know, MaM is a Solo Unit, so I ended up collaborating with idols from other Units quite a lot!

Take WisteriaFes, for example—I had the chance to share the stage with Kanata-san, Souma-san, Chiaki-san and Shinobu-san, as well as aaall my adorable kouhais from the Track and Field Team ♪

Oh wow, sooo many things went down before we even hit the stage! Like me kidnapping Shinobu-san at the beginning, and then facing off Souma-san in that spinning top battle… …

In hindsight, I reeeally should have handled the situation better, but that was just my way of connecting with others at the time!

… … Oh, that’s right. I can’t forget the fun times during the Restoration Live performance with AKATSUKI, Tsumugi-san and the others!

I was grappling with own motives and issues back then, but when I look back on it nowww, all I can remember is purely “What a fun time that was!” 

Meeting Kuro-san, someone whom I can go all out with when we play, is such a stroke of luck for meee ♪

However, just like how Souma-san was, Kuro-san was super wary of me from the start too. I'm reeeally happy once again that we're able to get along so well now!

And after that… … Oh yeahhh! I can’t leave out the Live performance organised at Kanata-san’s Aquarium! That’s definitely one of my most treasured memories. 

Haha! I never imagined Kanata-san would take over the running of the place, but I’m sure the fishes are much happier having such a loving Manager take care of them, riiight? ♪

… … Whoops! Looks like I’ve been rambling on and on for quite a while, huh? 

There’s still a ton of stories to share about, like the time spent with the “Temporary Units” (1)—

It's such a shame to keep these vibrant memories hidden away in my heart, without revisiting them at least once.

That’s why I’ll share them now and then, when the time is right. After all, these are the youthful days I spent living life to the fullest, the way I wanted… …  ☆

More Mafia AU!

To the gangs that oppose Mika, each boy has a different nickname relating to their skills. They don't know the boys, they really only know what they've witnessed and the rumors floating about. We have:

The Shot- A man with impeccable aim. He's often seen around the manor of Her. Barely anyone has seen his face but many have caught a glimpse of his iron. If the Shot is sent to kill you, your best chance at survival is to stay out of sight. For if you see the golden gun aimed at you, that means the Shot caught you a long time ago. You're a dead man walking at this point.

The Viper- A red-headed socialize with a sharp tongue. He's been known to frequent bars off his turf. If the Viper is sent to kill you, no one will be on your side. He'll slowly tear everyone you love away from you with his inhumane social skills and just when you think you're alone, he strikes. Your cup is laced with his poison. This is why he's called the Viper.

The Brute- A brunette known for his temper and strength. Outside of his job, you can see him hanging around the police that has long been taken over by Her gang. If the Brute is sent to kill you, you better high tail it immediately. Or better yet, off yourself now, before he gets his hands on you. Or else your death will not be pretty to say the least.

The Blade- A black-haired childish boy he is. Barely looks older than a teen, he shouldn't be too much trouble... Or so you'd think. Often in the arcade, the Blade has made it into one of his many stashes of weapons. Do not underestimate this man, he's just as dangerous as the others, if not worse. If you get caught off guard and the Blade is sent to kill you, they'll be finding pieces of you all around the city for weeks.

The Seeker- An orange haired man that isn't seen frequently. You may catch a glimpse of him here or there but his general location is hard to track. Unlike yours. If the Seeker is sent to kill you, there is no place in the city you can run or hide that the Seeker won't find you. You better defend until you can leave because you will be seeing him tonight.

And finally... Her- The leader of gang. The don if you will. Once mocked and laughed at for being a woman, she's now one of the most feared dons around. The ones that pointed and laughed made very good demonstrations of her power. But don't get it twisted. She's not tyrannical, she even prefers to keep to herself and her own concerns. So just be nice, stay in your lane and don't speak too loud and you'll be fine.

“Drink. Sex” Mika shrugged, going to the bathroom, starting to brush his teeth

“I’m too mad to want anyone around me” Michael scoffed, crossing his arms over his chest, looking at Mika through the mirror

“You’re here… With someone around you” Mika said, referring to himself

“You’re different” Michael sighed “You know that”

Mika spit in the sink, washing his toothbrush, wiping the toothpaste off his mouth with a nearby towel

“Go to the hotel bar, flash a bunch of women your famous, handsome smile, and you’ll be fine” Mika sighed. He barely got out of the bathroom before Michael had shoved him up against the wall beside the door

“Michael-“ His name is like an encouragement. Michael had shut up Mika with a rather aggressive kiss

Michael was about to pull back, apologise, leave Mika’s hotel room for his own, never speak of it again, and watch Mika be disgusted with him forever

Well, most of us are pretty small. Biggest ones of us are mom, dad, Nisa, Shard, Fares, and Cobalt. The rest of us are tiny! So most of us don't need too much food or water.

My house is also pretty big, with enough rooms for us all. My parents got it for really cheap because it was supposedly haunted, so we still have enough money to pay for everyone here's needs and wants.

I'm also an aspiring chef, and our kitchen is pretty big, so I can make food for us all!

Mom and dad also make sure to spend at least some time with us all each day. Well, unless we request time alone. Mom's hugs are the best.

Besides that, I also do my best to help when anyone is feeling down, giving hugs and words of support.

It's a bit chaotic, sure, but I wouldn't give up the people here for the world.

(And yes, I said people. For all the fur and tails and scales we all have, we're all still people.)

Charlie - He talks so much more freely when he's alone. A lot of it is just vocal stimming which he largely keeps in check when he's around others.

Sebastian - He's a pretty formal guy when he's out and about in just about every way, so when he gets home he very much lets his metaphorical hair down. He'll bro out a bit, watch some sports with a beer and gripe when his team doesn't do well, or on rare occasions he'll blast some music and dance. Type of music and dancing varies. If anyone were to come over unannounced he would die of embarrassment.

24. Did they take a cookie from the cookie jar? What kind of cookie was it?

Charlie - He made the cookies, they're ginger snaps!

Sebastian - He absolutely did but his poker face is impeccable. Peanut butter chocolate.

45. What’s something unimportant / frivolous that they hate passionately?

Charlie - Broccoli. Hates the texture, the taste, the smell, hates that people put cheese on it, hates that people make soup out of that combination. Everything about it just makes him so cranky lol.

Sebastian - People who turn on their turn signal after they've entered the turn lane/already started turning. "At this point we all know you're turning, the time to signal this was thirty seconds ago. Who gave you a license?" Macau GP 70th Anniversary

YOU. YEAH YOU READING THIS. This is me trying to pursued you to go watch the Macau GP this weekend. This track is historic and legendary. And one of the most fun and dangerous street circuits (imo) with tight corners and varying elevations. It is still the oldest (active) street circuit that still holds F3 (+other races) and isn't part of the F1 World Championship (the other being New Zealand🤝)

Since it’s the 70th anniversary and they are holding two wholeass race weekends with a BANGER entry list this year (full list at the end of the post), so why not take a trip down memory lane and talk about some iconic races and drivers throughout the years. [LONG POST, just saying][Also, surprises underneath]

Macau Grand Prix, Guia Circuit (or Circuito da Guia)—a circuit that spans 6.120km, with different elevations over 30 meters top to bottom (in non-metric terms: 2 small pine trees, or 2 volleyball courts for all non-metric people out there👍). Top speed: 260km/h for an F3 car, which is already a handful. This circuit has had little to no changes since the beginning of its grand opening. While this track serves as a stepping stone for drivers, it remains an independent circuit and race of its own. Though still having an affiliate with the FIA.

Although the first race event began in 1954, they didn’t introduce F3 until 1983. Which they had a strong start for F3 with the likes of Ayrton Senna and Gerhard Berger, respectively taking first and third place.

A few years later; Eddie Irvine, Damon Hill, Jean Alesi also left their marks on this race track.

But the most iconic moment came in 1990. The battle of Schumacher vs Hakkinen. The beginning of their motor rivalry.

Schumi took first place while Mika unfortunately crashed out at the back of Schumi’s car.

Jenson Button (a literal child) in 1999, second place. God works hard but those mechanics work even harder

In 2003-2004, both Lewis and Nico took part, whilst Lewis took pole and they both showed great results in qualifying. Neither of them went on to podium in both years.

2005: baby Seb starting to shine through and took third at the main race, just behind Kubica

They put a baby in a fast car

2009: Daniel, Valtteri, and Jules took the challenge. Jules started near the back end of the grid but was steady racing and finished 10th. Valtteri started 4th, had the opportunity to be on podium until he got a puncture on the last lap that saw him finish fifth. Daniel-not the best start- clipped the wall and punctured his left rear, carried on a little bit more until he crashed out of the race :( can’t find any video cuz apparently no one cared enough about 2009

2011: Valtteri’s third year in a row; the previous got him third place but this one he retired the car on lap 4 due to an accident. Kmag, da Costa, Carlos participated but all in all, half the grid retired in the end.

Bloop! 2014: a wild baby Max appears! Boy had good results in qualifying, placing him third, but in the quali race he lost control and crashed. Main race-7th. Nick Cassidy, Nicki Latifi, Antonio Giovinazzi, Alex Palou finished 3rd, 5th, 12th and 16th. Unfortunately, Antonio Fuoco and Estie Bestie retired :(

2015: Everybody’s favourite! Charles Leclerc has entered the ring. Charlie’s aggressive attack led him to second place and on that podium. Giovinazzi-4th, Lance Stroll-8th, Nick Cassidy-12th and following close behind, my boy, Alexander Albon-13th

2016: we see the introduction of George Russell, Landon Norris, Callum Ilott, Guanyu Zhou and Ticktum (But we’re not gonna talk about him🤭). It was an okay race, António Félix da Costa took first (came 9th in the recent WEC👏) and Nikita crashed.

That year gave us baby Lando and baby George who took his first pole *surprise🎉*

2017: A fucking great racing year, Lando came second due to Habsburg and Sette Câmara crashing out in the final corner. It’s Mick’s first year, though not the best result but did manage to snatch the fastest lap 💨

2018: it was a scary ass race and I remember standing in front of the TV just watching this. Lisboa corner is famously know for a lot of accidents, Sophia Flörsch made contact with another that send her airborne and crashed into the barriers and fractured her vertebrae. Final standing: Mick-5th, Ilott-7th, Schwartzman-9th, Zhou-11th, Vesti-15th

2019: a lot more familiar faces: Richard Verschoor, Jüri Vips (yeah that one), Logan Sargeant, Callum Ilott came back for another year, Liam Lawson with his bestie Yuki Tsunoda, Enzo Fittipaldi, Max Fewtrell🫡, David Schumacher, Felipe Drugovich, Schwartzman’s second attempt and Sophia Flörsch

3 years of absence and we are back! 2023!

This year there’s two whole weekends, from 11-12th November and 16-19th November. And they’ve a banger list of drivers like Bianca Bustamante for F4 and Richard Verschoor taking another stab at it.

Macau F4 race is happening on the 11-12th:

F4 is happening the week after on 16-19th

The FIA is streaming F3 on the YouTube channel (streaming f3 not f4🥲…go watch motor gp too it’s on the same day) but you could probably watch it on other streaming platforms too (you know the ones👀👀)

If you haven’t seen the Macau GP before…give it a go! It’s brilliant!

*side note: if Fernando or Lewis ever retires from f1 and have nothing else to do…I’d like to see them tackle this track (again for Lewis) maybe not f3, maybe something like GT cup or something. It would be verrrry interesting👀

An hour passed quicker than you could say "pancake" and before you knew it, you were upstage, a sea of crowd watching you.

"Welcome to SWEET TOOTH's first concert, everyone! We hope you enjoy!" You put on your cute persona that you showed on social media, and it surprisingly worked; you could tell from the screams.

The instrumental from your first song came up and you tried your hardest not to mess up. You did the same with all the others you performed and the concert soon ended. As everyone was leaving from the crowd, you saw someone's orange hair. The same hair from ten years ago...

History: 1998 Australian Grand Prix

March 8th, 2024 had free practice 3 and qualifying for the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix.

The big news of the day was Carlos Sainz having appendicitis and Ollie Bearman filling in for him. Now is this just another outcome of Alex Albon’s famous appendix? Or will we be seeing a new line of dominoes falling into place in the coming months? Only time will tell.

Timing remains essential to the 1998 Australian Grand Prix.

On March 8th, 1998, Albert Park (then called the Melbourne Grand Prix Circuit) hosted the 1998 season opener. The race was dominated by the McLaren-Mercedes team with its two drivers taking home a 1-2 finish.

While it was no surprise that a McLaren driver took the chequered flag first, there was controversy surrounding it.

For the first half of the Grand Prix, Mika Hakkinen was leading the race. However, on lap 36, he lost the lead due to coming into the pits after a misheard call. This led to Hakkinen's teammate, David Coulthard, leading the race.

Coulthard had a 12-second lead that was reduced to 2 seconds by lap 55. On the front straight during lap 56, Coulthard let Hakkinen pass him. This move and the pre-season agreement between drivers - whoever led the first corner would win the race - drew great controversy and race-fixing allegations.

McLaren Team Boss, Ron Dennis, spoke on the controversy and claimed that someone else had tapped into their team radios which led to Hakkinen losing the lead and coming into the pits.

"We do not and have not manipulated Grands Prix unless there were some exceptional circumstances, which occurred in Australia [1998] when someone had tapped into our radio and instructed Mika Häkkinen to enter the pits."

Eventually, they would go in front of the World Motorsport Council where the verdict was "any future act prejudicial to the interests of competition should be severely punished in accordance with article 151c of the International Sporting Code." Team orders remained controversial in Formula One and were banned following the 2002 Austrian Grand Prix. It wasn't until after the 2010 German Grand Prix that they were allowed again.

In 2023, Hakkinen spoke about the 1998 Australian GP and the agreement that he had with Coulthard:

"The team said something on the radio, I was confused, I thought they asked me to come to change tyres and that was not the case. They were just giving me some different information. So I just drove through the pit lane and I of course lost the lead of the race, David got the lead."

"We were sitting on the front row, me and David – and we just made a deal. The driver who was first at the first corner when the race starts, that driver is going to win the Grand Prix. There's not going to be any fight. We had a deal, so David had to let me past – brilliant!"
