Miitopia : The Golden Warriors Master Post

(Originally posted on my old art blog. You will see the watermarks of the old blog in the comic.)

Fandom : Miitopia, Gyllene Tider, Roxette Status :  Ongoing

Miitopia - The Golden Warriors is a fan comic of Miitopia crossovers with 2 Swedish bands with the same one front man, Roxette and Gyllene Tider ( pronounced “yil-le-ne-tee-der”). Based on their appearances in 2013 - 2015. Inspired from my Miitopia gameplay on Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo Switch. (Including a Swedish musician, Niklas Strömstedt as the Great Sage in the gameplay and this comic.)

Even though there are new contents added in Nintendo Switch version. The comic still based on Nintendo 3DS version. It may be some additional content especially for my own headcanon. But there will be no horse...^^; The comic started on November 2017 as a quick traditional sketchy comic. Then it became a serious comic series in later chapters. The comic format changed to be digital in Karkaton arc. I usually work on this comic when I have a free time. It will be delayed sometime because of my full-time jobs or having breaks from physical/mental health. And tragically, two of the musicians, in real life and had been added to Miitopia main team, had passed away when Realm of The Fey arc was in progress. They are dear Marie Fredriksson, the lead singer of Roxette, who had fought her illness for 17 years and passed away in late 2019. And the Roxette drummer, Pelle Alsing in late 2020. Their musical legend will be remembered and this fan comic will be dedicated to them.

In my AU/HC, "Neksdor" (endonym being Thulmisa; from ظلمة دامسة, another term for midnight in the Arabic language) is not just based on Ancient Egypt and its neighboring empire of Kush, but outright descended from them- it's a long, complicated history that requires a lot of explanation regarding Aeronia's/Miitopia's relationship with Time itself and how it is treated as a physical dimension; one that will be explored in another post inshallah.

Echidna is the late mother of Prince Dakarai, and the former queen of Thulmisa. Her reign was marked by peace and curiosity going hand in hand; a perfect reflection of who she was as a person. She was a gentle spirit, first and foremost, soft-spoken yet knew the exact words to comfort her subjects- they knew her not as a queen with an iron grip, but as a mother to them all.

But her softness was not her one and only trait that made her so beloved and...eccentric in comparison to the rest of the family line; she was an alchemist by profession- dedicated to uncover the world's inner-makings and bring forth its secrets to all that seek to know them for their own benefit, but it wasn't out of disenchantment with the world around her, no, no- she loved life and Earth so much that she just wanted to bring forth its true beauty.

Despite her breakthroughs both as a scientist and a queen, she had met her demise far too soon; the in-depth details were hidden from the public, and her kingdom was left with fragments of the entire truth; the Realm of the Yokai, a spread of dark ichor, and dust in the air. Shambling to reattain order, her only kin was chosen to inherit rule; the then-young prince Dakarai al-Rahim, who was only 7 years of age at that time...

- Team Fortress 2 (I just like watching the funny men in the funny ragdoll game. I main a combination of Scout, Soldier, and Pyro)

- Team Umizoomi (Once again, a genuine interest. This is my favorite nick jr show and I can ramble about it a lot and I'm pretty sure I have an attachment to it lol. I like all the characters but dislike half of their designs, my favorite characters are Squiddy, Blue Mermaid, Doormouse, and both of the Troublemakers)

- Undertale (Not as big of a fan of it as I was when I was younger, but I still like it. My favorite characters are Napstablook and Alphys)

- Yakuza (I just really like the silliness of it. Kiryu is def a really great character)
