FLRDGLSBJ!!!!!! @tenasilvertear just finished this absolutely AMAZING fullset outfit. I don't have pics of all of the pieces (tho he is wearing them all) and I am just beyond floored. There is a haori, yukata(? Or is it just a mens kimono, I am terrible and forget the differences), under kimono, a really awesome western-fashion shirt, a pair of pants (that fit like a glove, jussayin) and two obi. Just like... omg. Srsly go buy clothes from her. Cuz wow. Kouji looks amazing. I am in love. I need to go shower her with more praise and like... grovel at her feet or something. Almost forgot, Kouji is a Migidoll Elf Owen on a Immortality of Soul Class 70 body.

Why so serious, Estel? I'm happy to have him back, even if he does have a bit more attitude than before. Within ten minutes of opening the box he had his signature piercing back in and had stolen Kit's body for a quick welcome photo. Estel is a Migidoll Elf Owen. Temporarily on a Raurencio Studio body. For the record the resin match is quite nice.

Estel may have claimed the body and hands that were for sale…. I’m not sure yet. The body is nice, it just wasn’t for Kit though. It would have to be dyed… again.

I just don’t know….

Shalien and Glaciole off on some kind of adventure

Glaciole needs an identity beyond “probably froze to death a long time ago in a Bad Way,” but I don’t know what it is yet; I think I’ll kick him around with Shalien and maybe Fheonore when he arrives and see if anything sticks.

I impulse-airbrused Elf Boy over the weekend, but he still needs a name.  I also need to practice airbrushing before trying anything like this again ^^;

OKAY I finally figured out a name for him by smashing some French words together (fun fact: one of my college majors was French): “glace” for ice, and “luciole” for firefly

What with it being end-of-the-year recap time and all, I thought I’d do a post of my personal top ten favorite BJD photos I took this year - and realized I should do this every six months at the longest, if I want to narrow it down to ten.  So here’s my 2017 top ten favorite pics of SD+ dolls, instead; MSD size later ^^;  It was hard to narrow down, but I tried to get “most recent/in-character looks” and no duplicates.

I’m thinking Soom Girl and Elf Boy here (names... pending ><) will complement each other really well, but the stunningly beautiful default faceup on Elf Boy (Migidoll Elf Owen) has cemented my suspicion that it’s Soom Girl’s faceup (also default from Soom) I have a problem with, which is irritating.
