Micro Movers
Tumblr media
I was checking out Ebay UK when I happened to stumble upon these. They're "Micro Movers", and if you've been following me for a while, you've seen the few of Marshall (and one of Claw) I've collected in the past. So far, I have Series 1 (based on "The Movie"), Series 2 (also based on the first movie, but the plastic's transparent), and Series 3 (Rescue Knights). I kept waiting and waiting for Series 4 to show up...
...however, it never did. At least, not in the United States, anyway.
Tumblr media
The closest we got was a Big Truck Pups set, which included Al's semi truck and three Micro Movers; Al, Chase and Marshall (Wish I'd bought one when I had the chance). On the back, it mentioned finding the other pups in the Series 4 blind baggies, but... we just never got them. Unless I'm mistaken...? I don't think so, since up until now, I'd never seen them on Ebay, either.
And now, someone on Ebay UK's selling them. It makes me wonder if they were delayed, or are these are perhaps older products the seller happened to get their hands on? If it's the former, I wonder if we'll still see them in the United States someday? I hope so... I'd love to collect a Big Truck Pups Micro Mover of Marshall, of course. lol
Here's an additional pic that shows what can be found in Series 4. Curiously, it looks like Chase and Marshall's transparent Movers from Series 2 are included, unless there's a difference I'm just not seeing.

I saw a really funny meme about Victoria’s interaction with Gong, and it made me think…
There’s probably a LOT of unexplored potential in bias and prejudice against Cauldron capes, right?
What kind of micro aggressions can form due to this? How does it interact with capes in the same team, politically?
For context:
Tumblr media
- Dying 15.3
Victoria gives a pretty well explained summary of Shaker-Movers, helping to explain why the cape is acting like she has PTSD (which is why Vic’s orders work and Gong’s didn’t), and Gong’s simple response is that she is a Cauldron cape.
Ergo, she wouldn’t have these issues like “real” capes. Right? Victoria wants to argue against it, but she has no real proof of this. She has theories but that’s all they are. Theories.
But WE know the truth. Victoria is correct in that vial capes get powers based off of their personality and mental states!
Battery was a passionate and fiery person who uses memories of staying calm, using breathing techniques from her past to help her manage her fear and pain, which gave her the power to become untouchable so long as she forces herself to remain calm and unmoving to charge up.
Newter was insensate with pain, delirious, and his body torn apart when given his vial, and he gained a body that deals with damage, heals, and induces delirium in others.
Sveta was trapped, torn to shreds, skin peeling off in ribbons and trapped metaphorically in a body that wasn’t right for her. She was given ribbons that could get her out of danger, that would provide and protect her with minds of their own, and a body that was what she wanted while still not being hers.
And WB did a great breakdown of the travelers:
Tumblr media
There’s more to explore like how Alexandria had a desire to remain young, a mind foggy from drugs and a body sensitive to pain etc etc, but the gist is that cauldron capes DO have power issues related to what they can do. And according to Battery, they experience mind boggling amounts of pain with each drink of a vial.
However…
Would non-cauldron capes even care?
When Taylor learns about cauldron capes, her first reaction is disgust that these people didn’t earn their powers. That they didn’t suffer like REAL Parahumans did.
Even Victoria is offended when she learns Dean was a cauldron cape, as the intimacy of sharing their trigger events was seen as the next step of their relationship.
When Legend explains how they all should have had trigger events, but didn’t, it falls on deaf ears. No one responds to him and Taylor doesn’t give his words much thought at all.
And why should they? Cauldron capes are liars. They’ve been lying all this time. Nothing they say could be taken at face value. Eidolon could give a huge public speech about being born disabled, suffering from seizures, and his suicide attempts… and it would mean nothing.
He LIED to them about his origins. An unspoken rule has been broken. He didn’t suffer enough to earn his powers.
It’s interesting to me that the Undersiders nor Breakthrough had someone who was a voluntary cauldron cape. Sveta was an advocate for C53’s and hated Legend for being part of Cauldron, but we don’t hear her thoughts on people who simply bought powers. Taylor never knew Accord and Citrine were Cauldron until the very end.
I don’t know how to end this, but his line sticks out to me:

Day 2 Feminization and jealousy
Axl rose
Tumblr media
Summary: realizing he is going to lose the love of his life over what many would consider small or unimportant axl forces himself to do the unthinkable to get her to stay.
Warnings: feminization, self degradation, mommy kink, oral and implied oral (f receiving), over stimulation, anal, reach around hand job, strap on, femme dom
(sorry for the late post I didn't realize till today the schedule posting feature didn't work)
Master list (main pinned)
I can't do this. She is the love of my life and I have watched her flirt with guy after guy trying to find my replacement. I look over at her as she takes off her heels right across from where I'm sitting on the edge of the bed. I know what she wants and maybe I'll learn to want it too. I'll lose her if I don't. "I'll do it" I say to her. "What?" She says turning to look at me. I make eye contact with her and I have never felt more humiliated in my life.
"I'll be submissive" I mumble looking down not wanting to face her. "Speak up Axl I can't hear you" she says clearly annoyed with me. She walks closer to me and puts her ear in front of my face. "I'll be submissive" I whisper into her ear. She looks at me with a smile all her annoyance gone. I feel less embarrassed and more comfortable. "Really?" She looks the happiest I've ever seen her. I nod my head. "Strip naked for me ax" she says before going to the walk in closest. That was the first time she had used that nickname in 4 months before we had our last big fight.
I pull my shirt off and throw it to the corner of the room. I can hear her moving things around trying to find something. I unbuckle my belt and throw in the same general area of my shirt. I unbutton my jeans and unzip the zipper. I pull my pants down along with my boxers and step out of them. I kick them to the pile of clothes and y/n returns seconds later with a box.
She puts it down on the bed behind me and I continue to look at her puzzled waiting for her to say something. "Okay change into what's in the box and tell me when your done" she says smiling before quickly leaving before I can open the box. I open the box and I feel utterly humiliated and I'm not even wearing it yet. A pink lacey bra with a matching micro mini skirt sit folded nicely in the box.
The bra has no padding and is a tight fit. The skirt has elastic and I have no problem getting into but it does dig into my hips a little. I stand in the outfit almost wanting to cry and lock the door to stop her from ever seeing me like this. But, this is what she wants. The only reason we have had big fights and she clearly doesn't love me like she used to is because she wants this every once in a while. She will be happy to see me like this not disgusted. Y/-" I clear my throat "y/n I'm ready"
She opens the door, walks in and closes the door. I'm not looking at her. I can't until I hear her reaction. "You look perfect baby" I'm ashamed to admit but I get a semi. I feel disgusting and now I'm afraid I might actually like it. I look at her and she is unbelievably happy. I have never seen her this happy before. I look down and see she's wearing a strap on. My semi goes to a full hard on. I'm so full with embarrassment. Thank God she doesn't say anything. My face is burning and I'm staring at the floor. I'm sure even my ears are red.
Y/n puts her hands on my jaw and makes me look at her. She goes up on her toes and kisses me. "Thank you ax really thank you" my embarrassment is somewhat washed away. Her hands mover from my face to my shoulders. "Get on your knees" she says her gentleness fading and I obey without out question. She doesn't need to tell me what to do I know what she wants. I lick my lips and put them around the tip of the dildo. I slowly put more and more into my mouth as she plays with my hair and watches.
Not wanting to gag I stop when I know it's close to the back of my throat. She puts her hands on the back of my head and slowly forcing me to slowly go further. Tears fill my eyes and soon spill down my cheeks as I start to gag. She stops for a moment to let me get used to the feeling before making me go further. I hate this. I hate the gagging and this sick feeling I have in my stomach from thinking I'm going to puke. My hard on is completely gone at this point.
She grabs my hair and pulls me off. Thank God. I cough a little and wipe the spit from my face before following her next commands. "Get on the bed" she says and I nod my head doing as she says. Without saying a word she rearranges me into the position she wants me in. On my hands and knees facing the headboard of the bed. She leaves my side momentarily to get the bottle of lube on off of the nightstand which hasn't been touched in nearly 6 months now.
I hear her open the bottle and the sound of the gooey liquid being slathered on something but I can't feel any lube on me. I know what's about to happen and every part of me wants to end this now before anything happens. But I don't. I think of her smile and how sincerely and sweetly she thanked and spoke to me. I feel the lubed up tip of her strap on prodding at my asshole. She pushes the tip in and my eyes full with tears of pain and humiliation.
She slowly pushes the strap on in further. I am filled with disgust as my dick gets hard again. I'm trying my best to convince myself  I don't enjoy this but I don't believe me. I feel her hips bump me as the last inch of the strap on fills me. Tears roll down my face and I hold back a sob. I enjoy this why the fuck do I enjoy this. She reaches around and with the remaining lube still on her hands she wraps her fingers around my shaft.
She starts to slowly move her hands up and down my cock as she moves her hips matching the pace of her hand. She is very gentle clearly not wanting to hurt me. I let out a moan as she hits my g-spot for the first time. It feels so good and the pleasure distracts me from my thoughts. She speed up the pace. The stretching sound of the the lube up toy almost fully existing me and reentering me fill the room. My tears continue to flow but from overwhelming pleasure.
Then I say something I never knew I even wanted to say. "I'm gonna cum mommy" she speeds up in response and I cum all over the bed and her hand. But she doesn't stop nor slow down. I let out a whine of pain. "Fuck stop" I say and she doesn't listen. I'm not sure if I really want her too. My dick feels like it's on fire from the amount of stimulation it's getting and the tip is firey red. I moan loudly not caring if the neighbors hear.
I'm close to cumming again. I want to say "mommy I'm gonna cum again" but the only word I can get it is "mommy" I continue to repeat the word unable to get through the sentence. I blow another load over the bed and her hand. She still doesn't stop. At this point I feel no pleasure and only pain. Everything hurts and I'm begging her to stop in between sobs. I'm so sensitive and I can barely form any thoughts other than "ouch". I go down on my elbows and bury my face into the bed.
I haven't cried this hard since I was a child. I don't even have time to realize it myself before I'm cumming again. She finally takes her hand away from my dick. She places both hands on my hips and slowly pulls out. Once she's all the way out I colap onto the bed and cry. I lay in my cum crying while takes of the strap on and puts it on the bed side table. Climbs into bed and holds me. I calm down soon after. "What is it?" She asks me still being able to tell when I'm not saying something after all the time she has paid no attention to me.
"I thought I was gonna hate that" I say ashamed. "But you don't?" She asks and I shake my head. "I think I loved every second of it" I admit. "You don't seem happy" she says. "I feel disgusting" I say. "There's nothing disgusting about you baby and even if there was I would still love every part of it" she says and I feel way better. I roll over making her fall into her back. "What are you doing?" She chuckles a little. "It's the first time we've had sex in almost 6 months and you think I'm gonna let you go unsatisfied?" I say as I position my head between her thighs.

Seeing a lot of propaganda lately.
It's convenient that the astro turf environmentalists that schmoozed their way into business and regulation of it set up these oil companies and others with environmentalist paths and ways to get people to get involved in said environmentalism. That was effectively the compromise that would enable industry and progressive life to co-exist.
And now they're treating industrial environmentalism as if it was a scam concocted entirely by greedy polluting business heads. When people taught, trained and given careers in environmental science working with said companies weren't trained to do that shit.
It's just like the "OH MY GOD EVERYBODY PLASTIC STRAAAAAAAAAAAAWWWWS!" fiasco, where the entire point of it was to have a goose stepping push for "change" imposed from the top down, get everybody into a hysteria about how straws were actually hurting the planet, and then come to find out.. No. 40-90% of the plastic in the environment, micro or other, is fishing nets. It was always fishing nets. And pollution from the developing world, or China. They knew that going into it and instead chose to do this campaign specifically to "have a convuhsayshun" by scaring the bejesus out of everybody and then pushing for low hanging fruit to drag you through the process of legislation thought to "change the world."
Those paper straws weren't even plastic free, as reusable as plastic straws, or very good.
So now the agritprops are spreading that anti-industry shit by acting like carbon footprints and home recycling was all a scam by the businesses to deflect from THEIR regulation or emissions, instead of what they really were: Deliberate demands by the environmentalists, whom regulate and oversee themselves as self-appointed experts and regulators of pollution, to micro manage everyday peoples trash and emissions. And make people ask, "Why aren't businesses getting poked with a stick?"
Because they wanted you to go, "GLAD YOU ASKED! Sign this paper that lets us suck great big sums of money out of businesses unless they reach these virtually unobtainable purity goals that are virtually required to function."
The only thing I'm glad about is that carbon sequestration and other forms of particulate management have improved as technologies to where machines capable of sequestering industrial emissions and doing something about storage and repatriation of the waste materials into other industrial applications, are much cheaper now. Eventually, these alarmists and blood suckers will run out of pollutants to use to justify a middle man to antagonize businesses about.
Because really, that's it. Once industries can manage and sequester 99.999% of their emissions until they're environmentally benign, and so are their products, there won't BE anything to tax or penalize for their pollution.
As is, if the UK itself cut its contribution to pollution each year by 100%, it'd put an end to a total of 2% of the global emissions of anything. The big drivers and movers of pollution driven climate change aren't western, they're East Asian, South Asian and African.
This revisionist propaganda where it was just business itself that made life suck for individuals when it "should've been raking business through the coals all along" is just that. It wouldn't have been possible to meet emissions standards of 0 in the west and be able to have any kind of industry.
But then the Inverted-Reds knew that. Which is why so many were gone off the deep end in environmentalism, talking about "getting back to primitive roots" and other nonsensical hippie shit. We're not going to forget that movement, yall.

“¡Ahí tenís, maricón culiaoooooaaaaagh!”, me informa.

“a mi nada me molesta”
ya no puedo acercarme a mi chica -si es que la llegase a volver a ver-, y decirle;

Could you write a fic where Beckett has been sick for a bit and keeps insisting it’s a cold before Castle forces her to take a Covid test preferably pre-couple pretty pleaseeee🙏🏼
pre-couple but covid, idk what time machine shenanigans would go on for that, so i made it tried-to-be-a-couple didn't-work might-try-again-any-day. you might not be looking for that. but here you go:
What started innocently enough soon turned vicious: from a tickle to a hellacious barking, sniffing when she drank a freshly made cup of espresso to vampire sneezing explosively in rapid succession.
Every eyebrow in the bullpen went up. Every eye turned her way, suspicious and damning.
She seemed to notice her audience, turned to him instead, glaring as she spat, "It's not covid!"
"Uh-huh," he answered. Both hands raised in surrender.
But they all knew.
(Well, they all suspected, because it was 2022, and they were midway through boosters and Delta/Omicron and Great Flu Resurgence and some of the beat officers were getting RSV on top of that and then a stomach flu went around when the masks came off in the precinct, and really, coughing and sneezing and a scratchy voice—what else could it be?)
No one was immune to the suspicion, just as no one was immune to covid but in the window of time afforded to one by the life of the vaccine or a previous bout with the novel corona virus, and well, everyone had their own story to tell, much like after 9/11 when that was the first thing people talked about in the street or meeting for a drink, where were you, only now it was how many of your family died or how long were you laid up?
Rick Castle cornered her (not too closely, no; he knew she was contagious and he didn't want his mother getting it, vaccinated or not) in the parking garage of the Twelfth before she could ride up to Homicide.
"It's not covid," she hissed, before he could even speak.
"So take a test," he answered easily. "Put our minds at ease."
"I did. I have. I've taken three," she hissed.
If he stepped back to avoid whatever sprayed from her hissing, could you blame him? "This morning? Before the call about the body?"
"Last night," she said. A grudging hesitation. "It was negative last night."
"Okay, then maybe go to the City clinic," he said amicably. "Could be strep." Or whooping cough.
"I don't feel bad, no body aches, no fever—"
"Alexis got strep every winter until she was thirteen. That year, no strep! We joked she'd grown out of it. But then her best friend, after every sleepover, would mysteriously come down with strep and Alexis wouldn't. Friend's mom made me take her in and get tested. Sure enough, she was asymptomatic."
"It's not strep," Beckett answered. Scathingly, but she was the Captain, and she did often push him aside when she needed to get going and he was being difficult.
(Busy woman, the Captain of the Twelfth. He was often being difficult, considering he wouldn't quit her and she wouldn't commit to him.
But she wasn't wrong, since she had a press conference to get to and a Homicide division to micro-manage. Whoops, did he say micro-manage? He was being mean. In his own head. To the woman of his dreams/nightmares.
Theirs was often a love-hate relationship these days.)
He kept silent, rode the elevator up with her. He made her a cup of espresso in the break room while she prepped for the press conference. Granted, he was rushing to get it ready—coffee was still their love language, despite the bumps in their road—but when she took a sip and her face blanched, he knew.
"Ahem. Funny taste?"
"It's not covid, Castle."
At the press conference, she was in the middle of her rundown on the DB—okay, yes, Castle should have been listening but the guy had been a jackass member of City Council who had tried to get her fired—and her voice cracked.
She cleared her throat. Coughed delicately into her fist. Tried again.
Her voice broke like fine porcelain in the hands of underpaid movers, and the first question from the press was, Are you coming down with something?
She steadfastly refused to look at him. Deny deny deny, and she was getting good at it, as the Captain of the Twelfth, had to give her that.
He was home that night working on book edits—he was giving Nikki Heat a vicious bout of covid, laying her up in her apartment, when a murderer comes to call—when his phone vibrated off his desk and dropped to the floor.
Her face the ID. From that ill-fated night in his bed. She had changed it twice before he'd discovered a passcode to his phone she couldn't guess/wheedle from his mother. Even now, it filled with him a melange of dread and sweetness, terror and tenderness.
"Captain Beckett, you rang?"
"Castle—"
"You sound awf—"
"I have covid."
"I know," he murmured, rising to his feet. "I bought chicken soup from the Czech deli on my way home, and I have a guy on speed dial who can prescribe you paxlovid."
"The drug? I heard it gives you rebound covid."
"That's not because of the drug," he told her, gathering his keys and wallet, his jacket. "It's just a thing some people get, treatment or no."
"Okay," she croaked. "Get me drugs."
"I'll be right there."
He arrived forty-seven minutes later with the prescription, chicken soup, a package of KN95s, his laptop, and a determination he'd not felt since that botched night.
She took it all.
She wore the mask, laid on the couch in the living room with her face to a satin pillow, her eyes slitted like a cat, and watched him make edits on the book.
"Did you give her covid?" she rasped.
"Yes."
She didn't answer. Merely watched him.
He submitted his first round of edits and made her a bowl of soup, wore his own mask but wouldn't isolate from her as she sipped the broth. Her throat worked as if each swallow was pain. Her eyes had dark rings, bruised-looking, and her hair was limp. She coughed and they both flinched.
He fished a water with electrolytes from his bag of provisions, opened it for her because her fingers looked fragile. She drank. She eyed him.
She fell asleep with the bowl against her chest, half drunk. He took it from her, put the water on the floor close at hand, couldn't resist pushing the hair back behind her ear.
He bent low. Held his breath for an instant before he confessed: "I didn't want to. But. I still love you."

CHP: Combined Heat and Power - A Comprehensive Guide
Tumblr media
Combined Heat and Power (CHP), also known as cogeneration, is an innovative energy solution that generates electricity and captures the resulting heat for useful purposes. This process is highly efficient and provides a sustainable way to meet the energy demands of industries, businesses, and even households. In this article, we’ll explore the benefits, applications, and considerations for adopting CHP systems.
What is CHP?
CHP is a system that simultaneously produces electricity and heat from a single fuel source, such as natural gas, biomass, or waste heat. Unlike traditional power generation methods that waste heat as a byproduct, CHP systems capture and utilize this heat, achieving efficiency levels of 60-80% or higher. This dual-purpose functionality makes it a highly sustainable and cost-effective solution.
Key Benefits of CHP
Enhanced Efficiency: By utilizing the heat produced during electricity generation, CHP systems significantly reduce energy waste compared to conventional methods.
Cost Savings: CHP systems lower energy costs by reducing the need to purchase electricity and separate heating fuel.
Reduced Carbon Emissions: With higher efficiency comes lower greenhouse gas emissions, making CHP an eco-friendly energy option.
Energy Resilience: On-site CHP systems provide reliable energy, reducing dependence on the grid and enhancing energy security.
Scalability: CHP systems are suitable for a wide range of applications, from small residential setups to large industrial plants.
Common Applications of CHP
CHP systems are versatile and can be used across various sectors, including:
Industrial Facilities: Manufacturing plants, refineries, and chemical production facilities benefit from the consistent energy supply and reduced operational costs.
Commercial Buildings: Hospitals, universities, and office buildings utilize CHP for heating, cooling, and power needs.
Residential Complexes: Multi-family housing units leverage CHP for cost-effective and efficient energy solutions.
Agricultural Operations: Farms use CHP systems to power equipment and process heat-intensive operations like drying and pasteurization.
How CHP Works
CHP systems typically consist of the following components:
Prime Mover: Converts fuel into mechanical energy. Common types include gas turbines, steam turbines, and reciprocating engines.
Generator: Converts mechanical energy into electricity.
Heat Recovery System: Captures and repurposes the waste heat for heating, cooling, or other processes.
Control System: Manages the operation and efficiency of the entire setup.
Fuel Options for CHP Systems
Natural Gas: The most common and efficient fuel source for CHP systems.
Biomass: Renewable and sustainable, ideal for reducing carbon footprints.
Waste Heat: Utilizes excess heat from industrial processes to generate power.
Renewables: Integrating solar or wind energy with CHP systems enhances sustainability.
Considerations for Implementing CHP
Initial Investment: While CHP systems can reduce operational costs, the upfront installation cost can be significant.
Space Requirements: Adequate space is needed to accommodate the system components.
Maintenance Needs: Regular maintenance is essential to ensure efficiency and longevity.
Local Regulations: Compliance with energy and environmental standards is crucial for successful implementation.
Future of CHP
As energy efficiency and sustainability become global priorities, the adoption of CHP systems is expected to grow. Advancements in technology, such as micro-CHP for homes and integration with renewable energy, are driving this growth. Governments and organizations are also offering incentives and subsidies to promote CHP adoption.
Conclusion
Combined Heat and Power systems represent a smart and sustainable solution to modern energy challenges. By maximizing efficiency, reducing emissions, and offering versatile applications, CHP is paving the way for a greener and more resilient energy future. Whether for industrial, commercial, or residential use, investing in CHP can lead to substantial economic and environmental benefits.
Embrace the power of CHP and take a step toward a sustainable future today!

Marshall Merchandise Update!
Tumblr media
It's been a good month since I last posted about any new finds for my Marshall collection. I dare say I've got some interesting items to show off this time! I'll try to figure out where I'm going to put them later. 😅
Tumblr media
First up, this "Play Cup". It's basically a small coffee mug, except it's plastic and comes with a small bag of candy. The artwork of Marshall is pushed out a bit, giving it a 3D-like look instead of just being flat. I believe this item released around Easter time, but I'm not 100% sure. I was able to get this one on Ebay for a good price.
Chase also got a similar cup, but I'm not sure if the other pups got some, too. I recall seeing some of non-PAW Patrol characters, but I can't remember which ones right off hand.
Tumblr media
Next, this insulated lunch box! Okay, I have to admit, the moment I seen that artwork of Marshall on the front, I knew I had to buy this. I mean, it's just so super-duper cute! Then again, that pup always is! 😉
Just like the Play Cup, the main artwork of Marshall here is also slightly pushed out, and it has a holographic-like outline around him, too. The material is cloth, and it has little pics of Chase, Marshall and Rubble scattered about (no Skye, Rocky or Zuma, oddly enough). There's also a little pocket on the side for a bottle. It's pretty nice!
Admittedly, when I bought this thing, I thought it was going to be kind of small. Turns out, it's nearly eleven inches tall! It easily holds the most out of all the lunch boxes I have.
Tumblr media
Next, this micro mover of... Claw? Hey, I finally managed to obtain the last piece of merchandise of my favorite baddie from PAW Patrol! Well, the last piece available in North America, anyway. Believe it or not, they made additional items of Claw in other countries, such as the Dairy 4 Fun line of products in Germany. I don't think I'll ever own any of those, since they're surely hard to find now... and overseas shipping is usually pretty high, even for small items.
Tumblr media
No biggie, I'm quite happy with these three items! Hey, have I mentioned lately that I'm a big fan of Claw and really hope to see him in the cartoon again someday soon? Please, Spin Master? 🥺
Tumblr media
Last, and possible the most interesting of the items this time; this Mighty Movie theater bundle set! It came with a cup, a [removable] topper figurine, a bucket, a mask, and of course, popcorn and a drink for the movie. I got these at an AMC Theater, although I've heard other cinemas had them, too (like Regal). The whole thing cost $20.
Tumblr media
Actually, I was worried for a while there if I was going to be able to get one or not. I figured they'd sell out quickly, and I wasn't looking forward to the idea of buying one off of Ebay for two or three times the price. Thankfully, we found out that my closest AMC Theater were selling them a day early, so we rushed up to go get one. And according to someone on Instagram, it's a very good thing that I did; they told me that, after finishing the movie, they noticed most of the kids in the lobby were wearing Marshall masks! Possibly more than any of the other pups! Wow, way to go, spotted one! 😁
Well, that's all for now! I have a friend who might send me one more Mighty Movie item that I've been looking for, but otherwise, I have a feeling this is it for movie merch. Chances are, Jungle Pups toys will be up next here in North America, since I'm sure those episodes will finally air here at the beginning of 2024. Then again, Christmas is fast approaching, so I'm sure holiday-themed products will pop up in-between time. I'll have plenty to keep my eyes open for, no doubt.
A Marshall merchandise collector's work is never done. 😅

Triple Tops and High-Frequency Trading: The Unseen Symphony of Forex Moves Ever walked into a surprise birthday party when you were expecting a quiet night in? That's kind of what trading a triple top in a high-frequency trading (HFT) environment feels like—a mix of chaos, excitement, and the odd balloon burst of unexpected market movement. But while most traders might see a triple top as just another technical formation, there’s an entire hidden playbook behind it, especially when mixed with HFT strategies. So buckle up, not like the cliché (no actual seatbelts involved), but in the way a trader prepares for a strategy with ninja-level focus. Today, we’re diving deep into the intersection of triple tops and high-frequency trading (HFT) — a journey of turning complexity into clarity. The Triple Top Mirage: Why It’s More Than Just Three Peaks The triple top pattern has all the subtlety of a drama series cliffhanger—everyone's watching, everyone thinks they know what's coming next, but do they really? The triple top is one of the market's favorite set-ups for tricking traders into believing there's a reversal, only to make a u-turn and shake out the weak hands. Think of it as that new diet fad everyone jumps on, only to find it’s just another version of skipping dessert. The key is in understanding how the big players, and especially the quants behind HFT desks, view this formation. Proven Technique: Trade the Break, Not the Fake Many traders see the triple top and eagerly start placing orders before a true breakout even begins. That’s akin to jumping into the pool before you’re sure there's water in it. Here’s the trick: big HFT players often see these eager attempts and position themselves to exploit the retail traders’ impatience. So, the key here? Wait for the break, but verify it. Look for spikes in volume—real, serious participation—not just that sudden blip that looks like your neighbor testing out their new high-speed Wi-Fi. Empathy Moment: We’ve all been there—the triple top looks like it’s all set to reverse, and you go in with all the confidence of someone who thinks they’ve found the answer to beating casino odds. Suddenly, the breakout reverses, your stop-loss is hit, and you're left with that "what just happened?" look. I’ve been that guy. The market can be a party crasher—it’s like bringing a side dish to a potluck only to realize you’re the only one who brought salad. But fear not; the game can change if you think like the big players. HFT and the Art of Picking Up Market Breadcrumbs High-frequency trading is the Ferrari of trading styles—all about speed and precision, with just a little bit of 'how did they do that?!' magic thrown in. These firms are exploiting millisecond inefficiencies in the market, and while you and I can’t compete on speed, we can compete on insight. HFTs love when a triple top hits—they see it as a confluence of opportunity where thousands of traders are lining up their trades like dominos. And if there's anything an HFT loves, it’s knocking those dominos down, profiting from the cascade. The Ninja Tactic: If you spot a triple top and sense HFT movement (often recognizable by very short-term false breakouts or micro-ranges forming right before a break), use their momentum against them. Wait for that fake move, watch the tape closely for a flush-out—then pounce. It's not about being the first mover; it's about being the smartest. Hidden Gems: The Data Signals HFTs Love (and How to Spot Them) When talking about triple tops and HFT strategies, it’s impossible not to mention the signals hidden beneath those candlesticks. HFT firms analyze an overwhelming amount of data—but the good news is, some of that data is visible if you know what to look for. 1. Volume Anomalies: When a triple top is forming, look at the volume. HFTs often play their hand early if there’s a surge of unbalanced activity right before the third peak. Imagine a quiet poker game where one guy suddenly goes all in on a pair of twos—it’s either a great bluff or there’s something bigger happening. Volume anomalies can be your sign to either brace for the false breakout or confirm a true push. 2. Bid-Ask Spread Widening: Another tell that HFTs are moving is a widening bid-ask spread during peak price activity. It's a signal that liquidity is being stretched thin—like butter on toast that’s just too big. When you see this, know that it’s a moment for caution; HFTs love exploiting poor liquidity. The Path Less Traveled: Contrarian Perspectives on Triple Tops Most traders see the triple top as a classic reversal pattern. But contrarians—those who thrive on doing the opposite of the herd—often look at a triple top as an opportunity for a breakout trade. Sounds crazy? Well, according to recent data (courtesy of a Bank for International Settlements (BIS) study), over 60% of triple top formations in high volatility periods end up breaking out rather than reversing. Here’s the kicker: if you see a triple top forming during a significant news cycle—say, a release of key economic data like the Purchasing Managers' Index (PMI)—consider trading against the pattern. Why? Because institutional traders love to use the volatility from such news to push through traditional resistance zones. Expert Insight: John Smith, a recognized authority on HFT, mentioned in an interview with Financial Times that "Triple tops are less about market reversal and more about market indecision. When the HFT bots smell fear and indecision, they’re programmed to strike, creating the push that often catches most off guard." Use this knowledge to your advantage—trade where the bots want to go, not where the rest think the market’s headed. The Secret Sauce: Using Triple Tops to Outwit HFTs Okay, here’s the little-known secret—HFTs aren’t infallible. They may be fast, but they’re also predictable to a degree. They follow algorithms that work on defined triggers—so if you can identify those triggers, you can sidestep the traps. One sneaky tactic is to watch for price clustering. When a triple top starts forming and the price just won’t seem to break out of a tight cluster range, this is often the HFTs lining up their trades, building liquidity to create a bigger move. When they’re ready, that tight range will burst—but if you position correctly and have your stops well outside the HFT noise range, you can ride the coattails of the bots. Case Study: Just last year, a triple top formed on EUR/USD during a major interest rate announcement. Most traders saw a reversal opportunity. But with HFT activity spiking, indicated by tick data showing massive bid-ask order fills, savvy traders went for a breakout trade instead. The result? A swift 150-pip movement upwards, with retail bears left in the dust. Making Sense of It All: The Playbook Recap Let’s break this down into actionable insights: - Wait for Confirmation: Triple tops are notorious for fakeouts. Be the trader who waits for true confirmation—volume spikes and genuine price commitment. - Watch for HFT Signals: Look for bid-ask spread changes and liquidity anomalies. These are often signals that the real move is coming. - Trade Against the Herd: During high news impact, consider taking a contrarian view on triple tops. Institutional traders may be looking to exploit the volatility for a breakout. - Use Smart Stops: HFTs love exploiting poor stops—set yours outside of the expected noise range to avoid getting flushed out. And there you have it—triple tops and HFTs, an unlikely but potentially profitable pairing when you know the underground tactics and can avoid the common pitfalls. Y bueno....
