Tiszta Chicago - a 252. epizód
Le is töltenéd? Popkult, csajok, satöbbi…

So they look at Harry and they look at the Firm and they know he’s not going to be able to return. Harry can use all the “family” manipulation tactics he wants, but in the end it’s going to be a corporate decision and he’s not going to be let back in.
These people Harry is looking towards for deals are human beings with families and family members. Just like Michelle Obama said, it is bad to badmouth your family on public. Everyone has family issues, and no one will want his family member to go around badmouthing them. No major corporation will touch them with a ten foot pole. The most they can get is crumbs. You don't go around badmouthing the most powerful royal family in the world then expect companies to take you seriously.
Besides, they don't sell. Bower has talked about how Victoria Beckham was disappointed that none of the clothes she gave Meghan sold. Mind you, she was still in the RF, yet she wasn't able to sell clothes she was merching.
You know the tie that Willam wore to Singapore sold out ? The owner said he had only 8 followers on Twitter and that all of a sudden, his phone was blowing up and that people were ordering his ties like crazy. He now wondered why there was a 140 percent increase in orders, that was when he realised it was because William wore his tie. He said his wife didn't stop crying out of joy. That is influence.
I saw that!
Netflix is trying to salvage the situation by essentially doing all the production work themselves and just using the Sussex name , and that’s a decent idea. Harry and Meghan could build on that by building a “The Duke and Duchess of Sussex Presents” brand. They could use social media to shine a light on causes. They could do an Instagram account. They could do a YouTube channel. They could do a real podcast highlighting causes and charities instead of celebs. They could promote other people instead of themselves for a change. Netflix is telling them what they are willing to pay for and they should take that and expand it.
But no.

It remains SO WILD to me to this day that meghan didn't interview all of the guests she had on her podcasts. That someone from Spotify sent a list of interview questions and then sat in a studio and reordered that section of the podcast and then spliced it in with meghan talking.
That sucked and its not shocking spotify didn't think that number of people needed to work on a podcast that didn't produce any amount of numbers.
So I know they did that on their Christmas podcast and she did that for her Michele Obama interview but I was unaware she did this for her podcast.
Her interview with Mariah Carey had to have happened in real time because Meghan was super offended when Mariah said Meghan had Diva tendencies.

Taylor Swift ‘snubbed invite’ to appear on Duchess of Sussex’s Archetypes podcast
Reports claim Meghan wrote a personal letter asking her to appear on the Archetypes show but the singer declined through a representative
Victoria Ward 24 June 2023
Tumblr media
Taylor Swift snubbed an invitation to appear on the Duchess of Sussex’s Archetypes podcast and the couple left Netflix and Spotify executives “underwhelmed” by their lack of productivity and ideas, it has been claimed.
The production of Meghan’s Archetypes podcast was fraught with difficulties over securing the right guests and the Duchess often asking for late changes, according to the Wall Street Journal.
In a wide-ranging analysis of the couple’s careers since settling in California, the newspaper suggested that their big dream of wowing Hollywood with their star power and royal connections had been undermined by a lack of substance.
It revealed that Archewell employees and associates had admitted the company often lacked direction, and that the royal couple “at times seem surprised by the work required to finish entertainment projects.”
It added: “Most potential initiatives, they said, follow a similar route: Big idea, subpar execution.”
It is alleged that Meghan wrote a personal letter to Taylor Swift, asking her to appear on Archetypes, but that the singer declined, through a representative.
The production of Meghan’s Archetypes podcast, which has now been dropped by Spotify was fraught with difficulties
“Harry, in particular, struggled to land on an idea,” the newspaper added of their Spotify deal.
The couple have had multiple ideas rejected by Netflix, which is said to be unlikely to renew its deal when it expires in 2025.
They were also hampered by a recent, post-pandemic downturn in the industry that has led to widespread cost-cutting and restructuring.
Spotify recently laid off 200 people, including many audio engineers, and is said to be revamping its approach to podcasting.
Other proposed projects by the Duke and Duchess are said to have included a sitcom likened to the hit show Emily in Paris, “but about a man”, and a family-friendly show about gay characters that felt similar to the popular coming-of-age drama Heartstopper. Netflix is said to have turned down both.
The couple are reportedly developing a show for Netflix called Bad Manners, based on the Miss Havisham character in Great Expectations.

It is described as a prequel to the Charles Dickens novel that recasts the lonely spinster as a strong woman living in a patriarchal society. It is not known whether it has been commissioned by Netflix.
Despite following a path forged by Barack and Michelle Obama, who have been hugely productive and successful, the Sussexes appear to have failed to live up to the mark.
Netflix executives are said to have grumbled about Archewell’s output, fearing that their six-part Harry & Meghan documentary released in December was all they had to offer.
The couple announced earlier this month that their $20 million Spotify deal had come to a premature end, having produced just one series of Meghan’s 12-part Archetypes podcast and a short “holiday special.”
A joint statement said: “Spotify and Archewell Audio have mutually agreed to part ways and are proud of the series we made together.”
A source close to the couple told the Telegraph that it was proving “tough” for the couple to move forwards with Netflix projects in development due to a Hollywood writers’ strike, which has brought much of US film and TV production to a crashing halt.
Their multi-year Netflix deal, rumoured to be worth $100 million, was announced with much fanfare in September 2020, with the streaming service predicting that the couple’s programmes would provide its “most exciting and most viewed” content the following year.
But the only show the couple have so far produced was their six-part eponymous docuseries.
Heart of Invictus, a behind-the-scenes documentary following competitors as they prepared for the 2022 Invictus Games, was announced in April 2021 and slated for release the following spring.
But that too has not yet seen the light of day, although Netflix insists it will be launched this summer.
An Archewell spokeswoman told the Wall Street Journal: “New companies often make changes in their start-up phase, both with people and strategy, and we are no exception. We’re more equipped, focused and energised than ever before.”
She said the company recently hired a new head of scripted content, actress and producer Tracy Ryerson.
A Netflix spokeswoman said Harry & Meghan was its biggest documentary debut. “We’ll continue to work together on a number of projects,” she added.

📃 Megalist of 𝑭𝒊𝒓𝒔𝒕 𝑳𝒂𝒅𝒊𝒆𝒔 and Other 𝑵𝒐𝒕𝒂𝒃𝒍𝒆 𝑵𝒂𝒎𝒆𝒔 in H&M’s Political Orbit 📃 by u/SeptiemeSens (Part 1 of 3)

📌 First Ladies:
Akshata Murty - Multimillionaire heiress and wife of Rishi Sunak, Prime Minister of the UK. On May 8th, 2024, Akshata attended Harry's Invictus Games 10th anniversary service at St Paul's Cathedral in London. Also in attendance: uncle Charles Spencer, auntie Lady Jane Fellowes, and other Spencer family members [source]
Hillary Clinton - In 2019, Hillary accepted Meghan's invitation to visit Frogmore Cottage where she met Meghan and 6-month old Archie. Following the Oprah interview, Hillary commented: "It just was heartbreaking that this incredibly accomplished woman Meghan Markle, who falls in love with Prince Harry, was not fully embraced by not just the so-called Firm, which is the name for the permanent bureaucracy that surrounds the royal family, but by the media in the UK." Hillary also participated in Meghan's 40x40 project [source 1 // source 2 // source 3]
Jill Biden - At an awards ceremony following the Oprah interview, Jill wore an Oscar de la Renta lemon dress pattern. It was similar to another Oscar de la Renta lemon pattern dress Meghan wore to a Spotify event the month before. Sewer Squadies claimed that Jill's dress was a subtle nod of support to H&M. Meghan even sent Jill a basket of lemons in thanks. After the funeral for the late Queen Elizabeth II, H&M reportedly asked to fly back to the US on Air Force One but they were denied [source 1 // source 2]
Michelle Obama - When Meghan guest-edited British Vogue's September 2019 issue, she lied about a "casual lunch of chicken tacos with Michelle Obama". In reality, it was an email interview. Following the explosive interview, Michelle thoughtfully responded: “My hope is that when I think about what they’re going through, I think about the importance of family, and I just pray that there is forgiveness and there is clarity and love and resolve at some point in time,” Michelle Obama said. “Because there’s nothing more important than family.” The Obamas are hold great respect and admiration for the late Queen Elizabeth II [source 1 // source 2]
Oluremi Tinubu - Following H&M's tour of Nigeria, First Lady Tinubu gave a speech in which she remarked: "We don't accept nakedness in our culture." Her comments were widely interpreted as a critique of the Meghan's clothing choices in Nigeria. Nearly a week later on May 30th, in an *alleged* email reply to AFP Fact Check reporter Tonye Bakare of Nigeria, the office of the First Lady *allegedly* clarified: "At no point did she say anything about Meghan's dressing." [source]. Was this the sinister work of Misan Harriman, Christopher Bouzy, and the Sussex Censorship Industrial Complex? Plausible deniability by First Lady Tinubu? Was First Lady Tinubu silent or was she... silenced?
Sophie Grégoire Trudeau - Former wife of Justin Trudeau, Prime Minister of Canada. Meghan's 'dear friend' Sophie participated in the 40x40 project and the Archetypes podcast. In May 2024, Sophie publicly distanced herself from Meghan: "I know her,” she says, before adding that they haven’t spent much time together, and telling me how terrible she feels for Kate Middleton after her cancer diagnosis (“my heart just sunk when I saw what was happening.”) [source]
Zita Oligui Nguema - First Lady of Gabon, photographed with H&M during their May 2024 visit to Nigeria [source]. Will First Lady Nguema invite H&M to visit Gabon for their next faux royal tour?

I find it hilarious that Meghan has desperately hyped and outrightly exaggerated relationships with Alisters. She talked to Michelle Obama over dinner. Remember when she leaked that Hillary Clinton, Oprah, The Clooneys and the Obamas had formed "a ring of steel of protection" around her and that they are advising her on Megxit, prompting the Obama's to tell people magazine that no such thing exists.
During her podcast, she personally interviewed only Alisters herself, while the other guests were interviewed by her producers. During Netflix documentary, she showed a text, supposedly coming from Beyonce. She got SS to get some high profile celebrities to do her 40x40 stuff for her. She leaked about her 'friendship' with Gwyneth. She is desperate to be friends with celebrities but when the chips are down, when it comes to where she should be hanging out with them, no celebrity associates with her so she resorts to hanging out with those she pays or her employees.
They are all pr relationships.
And, at this point, it’s painfully obvious that they are pr relationships.

This was the most detailed prediction from Plant that I could find on how a divorce would play out:
I expect very quiet negotiations and then a surprise announcement that unleashes a ton of rumors. The first step will be that she gets a house and moves there with Doria. Then we get some pap shots of them without Harry. Then people start wondering where Harry is. Maybe there’s a sighting in the UK. Then, boom, she announces the divorce and the new projects she’s working on. Probably her old IG is reactivated.
She should wait until next year, but the Diana-clone anon is likely right and she’ll do it in November to overshadow the royal holiday season and take advantage of the Diana separation/divorce anniversaries.
The deal will be no money for her, but a decent-ish trust for Archie. The trust will own the house and will pay a set amount for Archie’s care and security. She relaunches The Tig, publishes an autobiography, does a podcast, and goes on a book/speaking tour. The whole thing is spun as Michelle Obama 2.0.
Harry goes to Africa for six months and reemerges in time for Invictus 2021 with a bit “Hero Harry Hunted Poachers in Africa” pr drive. The divorce is spun as Harry choosing duty over love.

Strongly suspected a Diana-related date (e.g. Nov 20 - Panorama) but also thought William & Catherine's anniversary was a possibility.

Thank you so much! I will have to bookmark this.
If Plant's prediction comes to pass, the bigger question is when. My best guess is right after the book is out, and he will do all the press for it solo. But then again, I am not holding my breath.
