United States vs Puff Daddy
The big news of the week was that the Federal government swooped in and arrested Sean Combs, aka Puff Daddy, Puffy, Puff, P. Diddie, Diddie, Love. While this was shocking to many, it was not a surprise for other people, many of whom had been wondering what was taking the Feds so long to make the arrest. It is speculated that the charges against combs are related to activities that allegedly took…

Sean “Diddy” Combs is facing dozens of new allegations of sexual assault in a series of civil lawsuits set to be filed.
At a press conference held on Tuesday, Texas-based attorney Tony Buzbee said he is representing 120 accusers with allegations against the entertainment mogul that occurred over 20 years.
“We will expose the enablers who enabled this conduct behind closed doors. We will pursue this matter no matter who the evidence implicates,” Buzbee said during the press conference.
“Many powerful people ... many dirty secrets,” the lawyer said of the allegations. He added that his team has “collected pictures, video, texts.”
Buzbee added that the allegations will include: “violent sexual assault or rape, facilitated sex with a controlled substance, dissemination of video recordings, sexual abuse of minors.”
“It’s a long list already, but because of the nature of this case, we are going to make sure damn sure we are right before we do that,” Buzbee continued. “These names will shock you.”
Buzbee said he’s had more than 3,000 individuals come forward to his office with accusations against Combs and that he plans to begin filing lawsuits in various states within the next 30 days. He added that they will name the other defendants at a later date.
Among this new group of accusers, Buzbee said, 62 % identify as African American, and that they hail from more than 25 states, with the majority from New York, California, Georgia and Florida.
Buzbee said that 25 of the accusers were minors at the time of the incidents occurring as early as 1991. Buzbee said that the events occurred at parties hosted by Combs, as well as auditions for people hoping to “break into the industry.”
NBC News has reached out Combs’ legal team for comment.
Combs is currently being detained at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, New York after prosecutors in the Southern District of New York charged Combs with sex trafficking, racketeering and transportation to engage in prostitution in an indictment unsealed last month.
Combs was denied bail twice, but on Monday his legal team, which now includes attorney Alexandra Shapiro alongside Teny Geragos and Marc Agnifilo, filed the first paperwork ahead of an appeal of the bail decision.
Buzbee has represented victims in several other high-profile lawsuits, including against BP in 2010 after the Deepwater Horizon oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. He also represented individuals accusing NFL quarterback Deshaun Watson of sexual misconduct in 2021. That same year, he filed a 750-million dollar lawsuit against Travis Scott after a fatal crowd crush at the rapper’s Astroworld Festival.
Combs’ legal issues have been mounting since his ex-girlfriend, Cassandra “Cassie” Ventura, filed an explosive civil suit against him last year, accusing him of assault and sex trafficking over the course of their relationship. Combs, who has vehemently denied the accusations, settled with Ventura for an undisclosed amount. Several months later, surveillance video showing Combs brutally beating Ventura in the hallway of a Los Angeles hotel leaked, and the mogul apologized for his actions.
Since Ventura’s lawsuit, multiple other civil lawsuits have been filed against Combs — most recently one from Dawn Richard, a former member of the girl group Danity Kane who alleges Combs groped, assaulted, imprisoned and threatened her life. Combs has denied all claims against him, calling them “sickening allegations” from people looking for “a quick payday.”
Many of the lawsuits against Combs were filed in New York City, which has the Victims of Gender-Motivated Violence Protection Law allowing people to file lawsuits alleging sexual abuse even after the statute of limitations had passed.

Tumblr media
the sound of incessant knocking wakes you too early on a saturday morning. jesse groans next to you, rolling to lay on his back. you sit up next to him, gently nudging his side. “are you gonna get that?”
“later,” he groans. you stifle a laugh, pulling yourself out of bed. jesse whines as you pull one of his shirts on, making your way to the front door.
it almost shakes with the force of the pounding. “jesse!” a man shouts from the other side. you swing the door open, leaning against it. a middle-aged man stands on your porch, hand still raised to knock. he’s wearing a gray jacket and glasses. you shift uncomfortably under his harsh glare. his eyebrows furrow, face contorting into a scowl. “where’s jesse?”
“he’s asleep,” you press the side of the door even closer to your side, using your body to block the view from inside your home. “what do you want?”
“i need to see him.” you step back when the man raises his hand to press on the door. you push back, keeping him outside.
“you couldn’t have called?”
the man glares down at you. “no.”
you roll your eyes, glancing behind you. jesse stretches a little, rushing to your side when he notices the man.
“babe,” he leans down so his lips barely ghost against the side of your neck. “i’ll handle this. why don’t you start breakfast?”
you raise an eyebrow at him but the look he gives is enough to tell you to back off for the time being. “sure.” you step aside, away from the door.
“i won’t be long.” you nod as jesse steps outside, closing the door behind him.
“who is he?” the man yells. their voices are clear despite the door separating you from him. “does he know about you? about us? what have you told him?”
“nothing, alright, he’s cool. don’t worry about him.”
you grab a bowl from the cabinets, setting it on the counter next to the carton of eggs. their voices only continue to grow louder. “don’t worry about him? are you hearing yourself? jesse-”
“listen, what is this about? you show up at my house and start pounding on my door and you don’t even tell me what you want?”
the man sighs. “we need to cook more. a lot more. our pseudo is going bad.”
this time it’s jesse who sighs, though he sounds more exasperated than anything. “seriously?” after a moment of silence, he sighs again. “fine. tomorrow.”
“we need to do it today.”
“i’m busy. i’ve got plans.”
the man scoffs. “smoking pot and sleeping all day are not plans. who even is that guy? what’s he doing here?”
“he’s none of your business.” jesse hisses. “we’ll cook tomorrow. now leave.”
he doesn’t give the man a chance to respond before he comes back inside, closing the door behind him. you stand in front of the stove, flipping an omelet in a pan. jesse relaxes a little, some of the tension falling from his shoulders. his hand is warm as it presses against your side. he pulls you against his back, head resting on top of yours.
“eggs?” he murmurs. you hum, twisting to press a kiss against his cheek.
“we need to buy groceries.”
“later,” he whispers, turning you around in his arms. he reaches over to turn the burner down, pressing his lips against yours in a sweet kiss. his hand presses against your thigh, coaxing you to jump up onto the counter. you wrap your arms around his neck, now level with him.
jesse smiles when you pull away, leaning down to press another peck against your lips. “so,” you whisper. “which drugs do you sell?”
you can feel him freeze against you, wide eyes staring into your own. after a beat of silence, he speaks. “how did you know?”
“you two weren’t exactly quiet,” you trace your fingers along his jawline, thumb stroking against the skin of his cheek.
“meth,” jesse sighs. “i make crystal meth.”
“wow.”
“are you gonna turn me in?”
you hum in faux contemplation, pulling him down so his forehead rests against yours. “no.” his hand moves up from your thigh to your waist, hand slipping underneath your shirt. “you’re lucky you’re so cute. otherwise, you’d be halfway to mdc right now.”
jesse laughs. “i’m glad.”
you chuckle, pulling him down into another quick kiss. “promise me,” you hold your hand out, sticking your pinky up. he glances down at your hand, raising an eyebrow. “no stupid shit.”
“no stupid shit.” he chuckles, intertwining your fingers together. “i promise.”

NEWS: Arrest of Metropolitan Arseny, Abbot of the Holy Dormition of the Svyatogorsk Lavra, Ukraine
Tumblr media
On April 24, 2024, the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) conducted a search in the Holy Dormition Svyatogorsk Lavra of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, detained the abbot of the Lavra, Metropolitan Arseniy, and informed him that he is suspected of disseminating information about the movement or location of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which is punishable by up to 8 years in prison. The accusation is based on the fact that in September 2023, during a sermon in the church, Vladyka allegedly told the faithful about the locations of checkpoints of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near the Lavra and thus disseminated information of a military nature.(1)
After that, Vladyka Arseny was taken by the SBU to the city of Slavyansk, and then to the city of Dnipro.
That very night, the night of April 24-25, 2024, the Oktyabrsky District Court in the city of Dnipro fully upheld the prosecutor's petition and chose a measure of restraint for Metropolitan Arseny in the form of detention for a period of 60 days. The court ignored the defense's petition for house arrest and the possibility of applying bail. At about three o'clock in the morning, Vladyka was sent  immediately from the courtroom to the Dnipro pre-trial detention center.
Metropolitan Arseny suffers from serious illnesses and therefore requires constant medical supervision and treatment, which cannot be provided in the conditions of the pre-trial detention center. The arrest of Vladyka is a blatant violation of human rights and is aimed at forcibly removing Metropolitan Arseny from fulfilling the obedience of the abbot of the Svyatogorsk Lavra, which is one of the main spiritual centers of Ukraine, and isolating him.
The brethren of the Svyatogorsk Lavra prayerfully support Metropolitan Arseny, await his speedy release from arrest, and consider the accusations against Vladyka artificial and far-fetched. Despite the large-scale destruction of the monastery, with the support of Vladyka Arseny, divine services are held in the Lavra to this day, and the brethren of the monastery continue to carry out their monastic podvig every day. Also, a large number of people who lost their own homes as a result of hostilities live in the Lavra.
Metropolitan Arseny is, as it were, the heart of the Lavra, without him it is impossible to imagine the Svyatogorsk monastery. For all of us living in the Lavra, Vladyka Arseny is an indispensable spiritual mentor, administrator, and man of prayer. Therefore, the isolation of Vladyka is a heavy blow for all of us.
We thank all of you, dear brothers and sisters, for your prayers and words of support for the Holy Dormition Svyatogorsk Lavra of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church.
(1) WHAT MOTIVATED THE ARREST OF THE MOST REVEREND METROPOLITAN ARSENY?
Tumblr media
The checkpoint Vladyka mentioned in that sermon was explicitly set up in the neighboring village to block pilgrims from coming to the celebration of the Synaxis of the Saints of the Svyatogorsk Lavra last fall.  It functioned for only one or two days  - for that particular purpose. Vladyka lamented that people were being prevented from coming to worship at the Lavra and from bringing the monks and refugees badly-needed humanitarian aid. Busloads of people from far away, including families with children, were held up and turned away.

Lawsuit Alleges Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs Raped 10-Year-Old Boy.
A new lawsuit against Sean “Diddy” Combs accuses the music mogul of the rape of a 10-year-old boy at a Manhattan hotel in 2005. The plaintiff, represented by attorney Tony Buzbee, claims he was drugged and assaulted by Combs during a visit to New York intended to advance his budding music career.
Allegations detail a disturbing series of events, claiming Combs coerced the boy with promises of fame followed by a drug-laced drink. After the drink took effect, the lawsuit states that Combs sexually assaulted the boy and threatened him to remain silent.
The lawsuit is part of a slew of recent legal actions against Combs, including claims that he raped a 17-year-old in 2008. These cases add to the list of allegations against Combs, including previous accusations involving minors.
Combs, currently detained at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, faces charges including sex trafficking and racketeering. Combs was arrested on September 16 and denied pre-trial release twice, with bail set at $50 million. His upcoming criminal trial is scheduled for May 2025, where he could potentially face life imprisonment if convicted.
So far, well over 120 individuals have made accusations against Combs. A hotline set up for others to report their own accusations received over 15,000 calls.
Combs is also linked to the Democratic party through Ben Meiselas, co-founder of the far-left MeidasTouch Network. Celebrity attorney Kenny Meiselas, the father of Ben Meiselas, had been employed by Combs. He also helped his son get an internship at Combs’s record label, which led to work with Hillary Clinton.
The Biden-Harris White House has described the MeidasTouch Network as its “front lines” against President Donald J. Trump in the 2024 presidential campaign.

Years after being accused of swinging a baseball bat at police officers during the January 6, 2021, attack on the US Capitol, Edward “Jake” Lang is now using encrypted messaging channels to create a nationwide network of armed militias in all 50 states.
Though he has been in prison for over 1,200 days, Lang is working with a network of election deniers and conspiracists to promote the North American Patriot and Liberty Militia, or Napalm for short. The group officially launched last week with 50 state-specific militia groups on Telegram.
Lang claims that the Telegram groups already have 20,000 members, including pastors, farmers, former military personnel, and currently serving sheriffs. However, multiple experts who reviewed the channels tell WIRED said that figure was wildly overestimated and that the real figure was closer to 2,500 members. But a group this size, they warn, is still large enough to cause a serious threat. And while unarmed members are welcome, the group is, at its core, a pro-gun organization. “We are pro open carry, pro always have it on you, rather than waiting for somebody else to be able to defend your life,” says Lang.
As the 2024 US election approaches, Lang says that Napalm will be focusing on potential “civil unrest” around the vote. “We have to make sure that we're prepared for any real-time scenarios, any eventualities,“ says Lang. “Civil unrest at any given moment, especially around an election time, is something that could come along, and so we have to plan for that contingency as well.”
Tensions around the November vote are already at an all-time high, and many Republicans refuse to say if they will peacefully accept the outcome of the November election. Over one-third of Americans now baselessly claim that President Joe Biden’s victory in 2020 was illegitimate. These conspiracies have led to a resurgence in far-right activity, of which Napalm is just the latest facet: Lang, along with all other members of the group’s leadership council, ardently believes that the 2020 election was stolen from former president Donald Trump.
“We've noted considerable energy being put into resurrecting far-right paramilitary activism right now,” Devin Burghart, the executive director at the Institute for Research and Education on Human Rights (IREHR), tells WIRED. “The growing talk of ‘Second Amendment remedies’ to unfavorable electoral outcomes is a serious cause for concern. Militia groups like Napalm promote political violence and sow the seeds for another potential insurrection.”
In addition to the election, Lang says that Napalm will respond to everything from natural disasters to Federal overreach, political protests, and potential Chinese invasions.
“I thought it was necessary to get organized in case these encroachments, these violations of our civil liberties, our natural rights were to escalate to a point where it'd absolutely be untenable and that we would need to defend ourselves.” Lang tells WIRED from the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, where he is awaiting a trial set for September. “There is a tyrannical wave that has hit America that we've never seen before. And so it's time that people get organized in case they escalate to something that basically puts our very lives in danger.”
Lang, 29, is from upstate New York. He claims to have been an ecommerce entrepreneur and nightclub promoter before getting sober and finding God in late 2020. At the same time, Lang was getting deeper into “truther content” online that claimed Marxists and Communists were ruining the country. This content overlapped with election-denial conspiracies that led to the Capitol riot and inspired Lang to travel to DC.
Days after January 6, Lang was recruiting people into an armed militia on Telegram that would ostensibly fight against the incoming regime of President Biden.
“It was the first battle of the Second American Revolution—make no mistakes,” Lang wrote about the Capitol riot, according to a tranche of thousands of messages obtained by ProPublica. “This is WAR.”
That effort ended days later when Lang was arrested and charged with multiple counts of assaulting law enforcement officers, as well as felony charges of civil disorder and obstruction of an official proceeding—some of which carry a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison.
After he was arrested, Lang became a figurehead for January 6 prisoners who have been falsely portrayed as “hostages” or “warriors” by Trump and his supporters. While in prison, Lang has published a book, helped produce several films, hosted his own podcast, and raised millions of dollars for inmates and their families—all related to the January 6 attack.
“It's important to recognize that Lang is, first and foremost, a grifter who knows that his ‘political prisoner’ schtick is his only shot at relevance,” says Jon Lewis, a research fellow at George Washington University’s Program on Extremism. “This is someone who has intentionally delayed his own trial date in an effort to remain in the spotlight and who continues to promote violent conspiracies.”
And though Lang’s original attempt at starting a militia on Telegram ended with just a few hundred followers and his arrest, he says that he has spent the past year creating Napalm from his cell with the help of far-right figures from around the country.
Among those who Lang has convinced to join his initiative is QAnon promoter Ann Vandersteel, who is the groups’ national vice chairman. Former New Mexico county commissioner Couy Griffin, who is known as the leader of Cowboys for Trump, is also on the council. In 2022, Griffin refused to certify the results of a primary election vote.
Stew Peters, who will act as the militia’s national communications director, is a Florida-based antisemitic podcaster who shot to prominence in recent years by pushing Covid conspiracies, including a wild claim that Covid vaccines were derived from snake venom. The claim was so outlandish that even other conspiracy theorists dismissed his claims as “trash.” Peters has also pushed QAnon conspiracies and white supremacist content and even called for the death sentence for the “traitors” that he claimed have stolen the elections.
When the site launched last week, one of those listed as a member of the council was Richard Mack, the founder of the Constitutional Sheriffs and Peace Officers Association. When contacted by WIRED, however, Mack said he was not affiliated with the group: “Many groups contact me weekly to work together, but in order for that to happen they must join our mission and philosophy of nonviolence.”
Lang told WIRED that a member of his team had been speaking to Mack about his role with the group, and it was likely just a miscommunication. Hours later, however, Mack’s picture was removed from the website.
Guns appear to be a central aspect of all actions taken by the Napalm militias, even when responding to incidents like hurricanes, wildfires, or earthquakes. “Even in a natural disaster, people that are in desperate scenarios may do desperate things,” Lang said. “And I believe that open carry and carrying a firearm on your body is a natural right of all men, and it's not something to be shied away from.”
While Lang said non-gun-owners would be welcome to join the group: “They would still be trained, and they would definitely be supported in their eventual path to gun ownership.”
Though Lang says all militia activity to date has occurred online, Napalm plans to get into the real world soon. “We will have casual outings at local firing ranges for downrange training, different exercises on what to do if the power goes out, if the internet is shut down, if the water lines are contaminated, [and] wilderness survival training,” says Lang.
All new members have to go through a vetting process, which consists of a five-minute video call designed to weed out potential infiltration from law enforcement.
Once vetting has been completed, members are then placed in a private county-level chat group where they can communicate with other members of the militia. Neither WIRED nor the researchers we spoke to were able to gain access to the private chats.
In the past, a county-level militia cell structure has made it harder for law enforcement to infiltrate extremist groups.
Lang says the vetting process has been established in part as a response to what happened to militia groups like the Oath Keepers and Proud Boys in the wake of January 6. “They had these public group chats, and people said inflammatory things on there, and so we don't have those,” Lang said.
Though Lang claims that the group has signed up over 20,000 members, some experts don’t believe him.
“The best we can tell is that the numbers that the group is claiming are grossly misleading,” Jared Holt, senior researcher of US hate and extremist movements at the Institute for Strategic Dialogue, tells WIRED. “This is an aspirational project. It doesn't reflect any sort of organizing infrastructure that's actively been built. It is being promoted by a group of political hucksters and shock jocks. And I wouldn't be surprised if would-be joiners of these groups come to learn that there is some kind of membership fee, some sort of financial component involved here.”
Burghart and his colleagues at IREHR also reviewed the 50 state-level Telegram channels and found a total of just over 14,000 members. However, Burghart also says that he believes that this figure is “significantly artificially inflated, with real membership closer to 2,500.”
Lang did not respond to questions about whether the Telegram channels membership numbers were artificially inflated.
But even with inflated membership numbers and lack of real-world coordination so far, experts still believe attention needs to be paid to groups like Napalm.
“The promotion of this kind of rhetoric and just mobilizing people around this idea could have reverberating effects,” says Holt. “It certainly heightens the tension of the political environment. It could certainly drive individuals who are maybe suffering some sort of crisis into thinking about more violent action or taking more extreme measures in their anti-government worldviews. And even if one of these states materializes into something with a dozen people in it, that could still cause a real problem.”

Just some ID after I fell into a rabbit hole from Twitter-
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Sacto (Sacramento) County Sheriff Deputy Explorer
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Metropolitan Detention Center, Bernalillo County, Albuquerque New Mexico
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
uh, this ID list fell apart after I quickly found the center jacket from an eBay listing for a Top Gun replica lol
It's really different from the actual ones, and even the knockoffs kinda vary.
All sources I've found for the center jacket point to Avirex, but the number and styles of patches vary. Currently, they still sell the jacket with the "M. Standle" patch (supposed to be H. Standley), but only that and the Dallas ones match.
I'm not gonna go into too much detail on how each patch differs since I'm not the most knowledgeable on military history or patch variations.
Anyways, the ones that are present, in as legit a form I can tell:

Not sure how this jacket managed to get like, three levels away from originally being a Top Gun replica, but sure
