You ever think about how easy it would be for you to rickroll everyone here just by putting The link in a "in reference to this post" link. No one would bat an eye about clicking it

I mean, yeah, I could, but what would the point be? Most modern browsers have opted to block autoplay on page load in order to combat intrusive advertising practices, and even when they don't, whatever video hosting platform you use is probably going to stick an unskippable thirty-second ad in front of the video anyway. Folks often talk about capitalism's corrosive effects upon the arts in terms of how it warps mainstream media, but frankly, I think the way it's distorting meme culture is even more telling. (Rant under the cut for the benefit of those who didn't come here for half-baked political opinions.)

oh i HATE those ads where if you scroll past them they keep on playing their stupid little ad after it’s no longer on your screen, even if you open another app, and the only way to stop it is to either close the app or scroll up combing through the small unobtrusive banners until you find it and flip its little mute toggle. genuinely feels like a booby trap. genuinely feels like a curse

also if we want to get into it I really don't think the movie stresses enough just how sick and inconsiderate it is for a 6-time grand slam winner to enter a challenger tournament just so he can feel better. by mowing down unseeded players fighting to qualify in an open. art and tashi are so embarrassingly out of touch

The cartoon did not downplay Sokka’s lingering trauma with their father being gone. It didn’t “just address” Katara’s grief with not having either of her parents there. They were core aspects of their characters that were referenced and built upon throughout the entire show. For the LA show runners to miss that is a critical failure.

This shows that the people involved in the Netflix ATLA don’t know jack shit about how ATLA was handled. They’re approaching it like a Wikipedia plot summary that they’re expanding on. They’re pretending this is some groundbreaking shift from the show when it isn’t. I have no reason to trust the people making this when they don’t even seem to know how the source material works.

Yeah no this is hilarious. I knew snuggies were a thing but I didn't know there were ones that just had brands on them and honestly that's so funny to me. I don't understand why you'd want a wearable blanket with a food/drink brand on it. I mean if your love for Cheetos is so strong you want it to keep you warm at night then sure. Sure I mean I guess. Who's going to stop you?

Anyway there wasn't actually a Snickers one I just made it up. I know it's hard to tell because. Because my branded clothing design here is so believable and authentic. My editing is so unbelievably superb. Sorry I'm having too much fun with this. Here's Chara with a Snickers snuggie. Either they genuinely like Snickers that much or they think the idea's so dumb it wound back around and became funny.
