It was odd. If anyone else had reached out to her like that, she might have felt the need to pull away, to flinch back, but with him the action felt- familiar? Comforting, maybe? She couldn't quite place it. Almost as if it was on the very tip of her memories, but just barely out of reach. She felt relaxed, calm, it was confusing to say the least. And if that wasn't enough, her hand moved, almost on reflex, swooping a flower up and on tippy toes, she found herself repeating his actions back at him.

Don't ask her to explain herself, she couldn't answer even if she wanted to, but being around him felt- safe. It was nice.

A light string of giggles left her, a playful smile finding its way to her lips.

Since Kaya comes into the shop fairly often, Kaz has begun to like these little in between customer games. Maybe it was because he chose to be mostly alone while growing up that he never really played a lot of these games? Or maybe it's just because he enjoys Kaya's company. Either way. it's been fun. "I mean shit, what would you do? Xenomorph kinda~~~~" Of course he would insinuate some borderline nasty shit, but he leaves it at that. With the added eyebrow wiggle though of course. 17. what are some of the signs that your muse shows their care/love without saying they love/care about their partner?

Nate will send texts to those he loves randomly, just to check in on how they're doing. He'll make an effort to cook meals for them after a long day at work. He gives soft touches to their partner; a hand on the small of their back, a brush of hair behind the ear, a squeeze of hands in passing.

23. would your muse be good at recognizing their partner's needs right away, or would it take some time?

Nate has always been an observant person. He's always kept a watchful eye over his siblings, making sure they have their needs met even when he was still young and his little siblings were still growing. That aspect has translated into his romantic life, though it does take a little bit of time to learn about them and what they need from the start before it becomes easily recognizable.

"Oh?" The son of Anubis emerged into view from behind the side of Babylon with grace. This wasn't where he normally ended up, but he knew his friend was working and Tau had some extra time today before he had to return home, so he figured taking a little detour to see his friend and maybe drop off some goodies may be in order. Though it seems his friend must have an annoying customer, so the towering, comforting man makes his way with a little baggie in his hands to the two. "Perhaps you have time for questions about your position here?" Acting as if he was a curious bystander in front of the stranger, he noted the way the guy was already starting to back off. It's not that Tau is intimidating, because he isn't, but the aura he carries is very.... as if he is supposed to be wherever he is. It tends to deter other's and he knows this as he gives a knowing glance to Max, also flashing the little surprise tucked in his hand; a small bag of chocolates he brought back from his trip to Japan. He had yet to try them and knowing Max probably hadn't either, he had been really excited to share the experience with him. Once the stranger is gone, Tau's little knowing smile grows. "Obviously I actually did not come here to speak about your job. I must share these with you it is quite important. I hope you can make the time for this distraction~"

Her initial response was one of confusion, reflex almost causing her to flinch back from the gentle touch, almost. Brows furrowed as the other placed the flower in her hair. It wasn't everyday someone treated her so- it was unusual to her, to say the least. Though she wasn't completely lost on the sentiment, her brother had done this once when she was small and a girl at one of the many orphanages she'd been in had done the same. It was a gesture of- well, she couldn't exactly tell you what it meant, but she knew it was supposed to be a nice thing!

A smile made its way onto her features, repeating the action, and putting a flower of her own in River's hair.

Nate likes soft hair that he can run his fingers through, expressive eyes that he can get lost in, and a warm, confident laugh.

12. does your muse get flustered easily? how would they typically react to compliments from someone they are interested in/dating?

He would deny it, but it isn't difficult to fluster him. He's not overly confident like his siblings, at least not as much as he used to be. There are times where his cheeks might color with a blush at a compliment, but for the most part he's good at keeping his flustered feels internalized so that you can't really tell - unless you know him well.
