💖 Which of your fics is your pride and joy?

...Almost all of them, at different times. (A few of my oldest ones I cringe at slightly now, but that just means I wouldn't write them that way now. :P)

However, "Wherever We Go..." has a special place for me. It's a plot I'm proud of, I like the execution, I was able to write it without getting blocked or letting it gather dust, and I love the response it's gotten. Gravity Falls fandom in general is really really nice to post for in terms of engagement, but this is my most popular GF fic, and I treasure that.

🤷‍♀️What's a fic you didn't expect to be popular, but really took off?

"Following a Trail (that I've seen in fairy tales)" started life as a bullet-pointed Tumblr post, that turned into proper paragraphs halfway through but was still written in a single push. (I'd had the idea for a long time, but the spark came as one of those reaction-from-exertion bursts of creativity that sometimes come when you should be Done with the week.) I didn't expect it to go anywhere, but the Tumblr post has gotten maybe more crying in the tags than anything else I've made! The power of Doctor Who fix-its. :P I crossposted it to AO3 last winter for archiving.

👀 Would you ever accept requests or commissions?

Not unless I had right of refusal and got a lot more confident about being productive on a schedule, I think. Commissions I probably wouldn't do even then, but requests...? Maybe. It's a fun idea to me, but right now I'd end up stressing myself out more than writing. (I opened a request game years ago and filled less than half the things people asked for, I think. I apologize to everyone I did not write for. <3)

❓ GF ships?

Generally I don't think much about shipping in Gravity Falls -- I'm here for the family and friends! I can give a rundown on the ships that come to mind, though.

I am a firm supporter of Melody/Soos, because I think she's lovely and Soos deserves A) the world and B) to build a family and have lots of kids. I lean toward Dipper/Wendy in the future, but only once they're both college-age at least; I also think it's highly likely Dipper/Pacifica will date in their teens, but I'm not personally invested in it. I've never seen anyone I thought was the right fit for Mabel, and I think "Ford/Sleep" and "Stan/Happiness" are gems of relationship tags.

Tbh, I've really liked Gravity Falls, but the topic of ships never crossed my mind for it because I don't belong to the intended target audience. I think they're fine, I just don't have specific opinions for or against because I'm not really into ship stuff for younger teen main characters for series like ATLA and Gravity Falls.

In answer to your other questions, in terms of cartoon fandoms, I like Phineas and Ferb, and also Infinity Train, but I haven't actually gotten around to watching Amphibia or TOH (although I kind of know a bunch of stuff about TOH from passively absorbing fandom things). And I've seen two of the Star Wars movies, but I can't really get into it very much.
