now im also still thinking about tma dnd au.... mostly i agree with jonny&alex' assignments. Signing a contract to work in the Archives is really signing a pact with the Eye, so everyone there multiclasses in warlock, but only Jon really gains levels in it because of all the xp he gets by reading statements. Tim is a fighter, Sasha a 'real' wizard, Martin a bard who performs poetry instead of playing an instrument, says he studied at the College of Lore, but really he's self-taught and not even level 3 in bard.

Species though. i mostly drew Jon as a tiefling cause i wanted to give him horns but really, a tiefling would be preoccupied with whether or not he's turning into a monster. Sasha can just be human, and i think Tim is a half-elf, charismatic, easily fitting in with most crowds.

On the one hand i want Martin to be tall. but on the other. he just is a halfling. easily underestimated, typically caring, not very fast, not easily immobilized by fear, and, considering how little he gets hurt or wounded compared to tma's other characters, definitely a certain kind of lucky

OKAY SO— when I said I was working on something related to the new Lasko audio, that wasn’t totally accurate IT REALLY JUST INSPIRED ME TO MAKE THE SCENE I’VE DESPERATELY NEEDED :,)

Melanie’s hair through the seasons:

Like most others I usually imagine Melanie with blue hair, but I’ve seen a few designs where she has red hair too and I got the idea that the color changes based on her connection to the slaughter. So here is my headcanons for Melanie’s hair through the show:

(Natural color is dark brown/black, length varies between chin length and shoulder length)

• Season one: the standard blue. Well maintained and recently cut. Only some roots showing

• Season two: purple. she’s had a close encounter with the slaughter at this point. She’s still trying to hold onto her image so she tries to keep it together. Slightly more roots showing

• Season three: hot pink. She’s just been shot. It’s grown out a bit as she’s kind of at the end of her rope but when she gets hired she tries to keep it in slightly professional hairstyles (tied back). Keeping it together for her first office job. When Elias reveals that they’re trapped she stops caring and her hair is messier, but still a hot pink as she gets closer to the slaughter

• Season 4: red. Full slaughter mode. It’s cut short again and more “sharp”. Her bangs are shorter and out of her eyes

• Post bullet removal: the red fades to a softer pink and her hair grows out. Pretty messy and not put together until she goes to therapy

• Post blinding: back to blue! She cuts her hair to have more texture, keeping the side pieces long but cutting the rest, slightly longer bangs so they cover her eyes

My theory is that the reason Peter Lukas and Jonah Magnus have such a strained relationship is that Jonah has been stealing Peters Lonely-Aligned people to work for the institute. Like the wiki says that he deliberately picks people who he knows wouldn't be noticed if they went missing, so people who are already aligned with the lonely are prime candidates. I think it annoys the shit out of Peter that Jonah keeps taking people who are aligned with the lonely and making them work an office job together.

Here's some contextual and random facts about them lolol:

Azalea and Melanie are characters of a webcomic I'm making ! It's just a little passion project that I'm slowly working on. (emphasis on slowly)

Theo is just a nickname. His actual name is Theodore. MC's name is still TBD.

They're also gonna be in a comic thing :D but more episodic and slice of life-y instead of an overarching plot.

Kian makes pipe bombs in his basement.

Kian is based on a rock I got on a random beach. I took a picture of it and put a bunch of stickers and gave it a personality a few years ago bc I thought it would be cute 💀 I have other rocks that still needs to be gijinka-fied LMAO (my fave is this one beach glass named Kelsey)

I was debating on naming the jester clown guy JJ but i decided against it, it's cute but ehh idk.. I might change my mind on it if I can't think of anything.

Kian and friends + the jester guy + that one teeth guy that I didn't include here (whoops) are mostly just one-offs and don't really have an ongoing story. I made them mostly cause I wanted to design a cool looking character. Maybe I'll do smthn with the rock friends but I don't really have any ideas :P

Nigel and Gabriel are part of this western cowboy universe thing I'm doing on the side. A lot of wonderful people have made ocs for it :DD !!!

Gabriel has a twin sister named Mica, who also helps around their church.

Nigel is just an amalgamation of the kinks i like (that will not b disclosed !!!!!). Cause I thought 'hey, why don't I make a blorbo that has all my kinks that would b awesome ahaha' and look at me now.

Also BTW i know Nigel is technically a cop but he's more of a classic cowboy than an actual police officer. I added that random fact just for the cowboy³ joke. ACAB.
