Random Touhou headcanon 5: as kinda alluded to earlier, Meiling and Sakuya are married. Have been since the incident of 7.5 (but before the gameplay). The funny, is that Remilia didn’t know they were married until like… three months ago. And the only reason she found out was because she offhandedly asked Sakuya about the ring she’s been constantly wearing the last almost 20 years. They never told Remilia because it just never really occurred to them to. Literally everyone else Meiling and Sakuya know already knew, just Remilia never noticed.

I need ya’ll to hep me out here, we need to start differentiating ship names between the two Meis. It’s a little confusing to call both OG Mei X Nene and No.4 Mei x Nene “Meinene.” Like it works for captioning edits/fan arts/fics but if you’re just talking about them it gets confusing

My proposal is that we switch around the order of names. This might get confusing so bear with me here, I think it would be best to let the more popular versions keep their order as it is. When most people talk about Aoimei, they’re referring to Aoi and OG Mei; whereas SakuMei is mainly Sakura and No.4 Mei

So it would be

Meinene (OG)

NeneMei (4)

Aoimei (OG)

MeiAoi (4)

SakuMei (4)

MeiSaku (OG)

I also think it would be funny to do it with numbers, so like Aoi4Mei and Mei4Nene. These are just ideas ofc, feel free to use any of these tho and lmk if you have any feedback
