That interview came and went as quickly as anything at this point.

It was definitely a choice to release it so close to the start of the Olympics. The coverage has basically drown it out.

Maybe, but I don’t think the Olympics had anything to do with it. My gut is saying that it was planned to fully capitalize on the Birmingham 2027 announcement and/or developments in the lawsuit so Harry can start laying groundwork for something involving one or both of those things.

I’d say the timing of the interview overlapping with Olympics coverage is nothing more than classic Sussex karma - every time Harry or Meghan (usually Meghan) try to relaunch and grab headlines for themselves, the universe steps in and reminds them of the pecking order.

(And given the Sussexes’ luck with this sort of thing, I honestly think that if/when Meghan starts using that ARO Instagram, Jimmy Carter will pass away and usurp the news cycle.)
