One Piece AU where the pirates have two factions; Peace Mains and Morgania. (Reference: Romance Dawn by Eiichiro Oda)
Peace Mains: Pirates who made a living by hunting Morgania.
Morgania: Pirates who made a living by pillaging and committing crimes.
Basically a more slice of life AU with some major lore, with Luffy looking for adventures rather than One Piece and meeting new friends along the way.
Ace and Sabo followed suit because Crocodile knows that his youngest won't be able to avoid trouble. All three aims to make a crew consisting of Peace Mains pirates.
They basically travel around for weeks and for 2 months and then they go back to their hometown. The rest of the Strawhats joined but they sometimes go do their own thing sometimes. Somehow they're always nearby when the brothers get themselves into trouble. Is it fate?
For the Shichibukai, they're made out of the strongest Peace Mains and they're the top amongst the pirates. They control a large region and prevents Morgania pirates from causing havoc. Unlike canon they don't work with the Marines and aside from nicknames from the public no one knows their true identity, the only exception being Kuma.
Crocodile: He guards Alabasta and the surrounding area. As a warlord, he is known for punishing Morgania pirates to near death as a warning. He is known as Mr. 0 by the Marines due to the number nickname given to his underlings and the Desert King due to the area he rules over. He often appear without his head during Baroque Works meetings, so not even his coworkers know how he looks like.
Dracule Mihawk: Known as the Sharp-Eyed Man and the Marine Hunter by the Marines, he is known for working alone. He takes down Marines and Morgania Pirates from the shadows, his hawk mask covering his face. He lives alone on an island until he met Zoro and Perona. He starts to leave his island more often. Used to be a normal hawk when he was hit with a Devil Fruit power that turns animal into humans.
Gecko Moria: Doesn't go by any epithet, but he is whispered amongst the Marines like an urban legend of the seas. Not much is known about him.
Kuma: Was called the Tyrant and the only one who the Marines know for sure his identity is. He never stays in one place for long, but wherever he goes the people said that a big, gentle man helps them.
Boa Hancock: Nicknamed Medusa, all who laid their eyes on her become stone, and they all forget how she looks like after turning back. Lives in Amazon Lily and send out ships to help free slaves to the outside world. Hopeless romantic. She and Jinbe are friends.
Jinbe: Known as the Knight of the Seas. He frees slaves and destroy human auction houses. Marines are not sure if he's human or something else. He went to Amazon Lily shore on weekends for tea with Hancock.
Donquixote Doflamingo: Known as the Heavenly Yaksha, he always foils Marines plans to capture Peace Mains pirates. His brother, Rosinante is still alive alongside their parents. Rosi joins the Marines and along with Sengoku resolves to make sure the Marines don't do much harm. He works at a boutique belonging to his parents when not doing pirates stuff. Law is his adopted nephew and Doffy isn't sure if the kid knows or not that he's a pirate.

Welcome to the Black Market
I actually watched episode five of Midnight Museum live-ish, so let's see how my theories unraveled in this episode:
The Lotus
Tumblr media
The crescent moon, which symbolizes life and death, showed up several times, but the lotus was also clearly shown which symbolizes rebirth (I couldn't figure out if it was a crown or a lotus before). There is also a smaller crescent moon on top of the lotus.
That bbq body is about to get reborn.
Tarot Cards
Khatha was the Hermit, which I guessed he was the Emperor because of his clothing and position in the poster, but the Hermit would make sense since he mirrored the image when he first encountered Dome in the past but he didn't have a lantern, which is a key element to the Hermit due to his introspection.
Tumblr media
Sidenote: The Emperor and Justice (who I think Khatha and Bam are) conflict with each other because they are two different types of rule and power.
Tumblr media
Triphop was the Chariot, which is powerful and represents overcoming difficulties, but...he hid the card, so I still think he is the Hierophant unless that was his grandfather's position.
The High Priestess was the mystery woman.
New God
Last episode, Dome was told something about his mission involving a new god. The High Priestess left behind a bible with her card in it, and she recited Acts 2.19-2.20:
I will show wonders in the heavens above and signs on the earth below, blood and fire and billows of smoke./ The sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood before the coming of the great and glorious day of the Lord.
That bbq body is looking more and more godly.
Auction
There are six known Fabergé eggs still missing. They held surprises in them such as pictures or other treasures. The auction featured two because Triphop already lost one, and Khatha was outbid for the other.
Tumblr media
Van Gogh created several sunflowers paintings which were part of a series. There are two known ones missing, but Two Sunflowers is not one.
Tumblr media
Egyptian canopic jars hold vital organs that were removed during the mummification process. This set features the "four sons of Horus: the baboon 'Hapy,' representative of the North and protector of the lungs; the god 'Duamutef' jackel-headed guardian of the East, who protected the stomach; the hawk 'Qebhsennuf' of the West, protector of the intestines; and the god 'Imsety' of the South, human-headed guardian of the liver." Thank goodness Khatha won this because if homegirl is trying to Frankenstein/Build-a-Bear her way into a god, not having the organs would be a big obstacle.
Tumblr media
This is the 1727 'Davidoff, Morini' Antonio Stradivari violin. It was stolen in 1995 from a locked room with no forced entry and hasn't been seen since. Some believe a ghost took it.
Tumblr media
Although the the High Priestess bought a lot like Perseus' shield with the head of Medusa
Tumblr media
She wasn't there to buy anything. She was there to confirm Khatha has what she needed - Dome, which he did by buying the Onmyōdō necklace. If Dome really is the Magician, he has the power to bring back the bbq body.
Brother?
Tumblr media
Nope! We already know they aren't blood related in the past nor the present. Khatha first encounters Dome when his boat drifts to shore. Best Friends Forever maybe, but brothers in the blood-related sense is out the window.
@slayerkitty - Thanks for the heads up as usual, and I'm still rooting for Dome x Khatha. I don't care what this Triphop says.

Keep Your Eyes On Me - Bucky Barnes
Summary: taking part in @the-slumberparty 's warm up of one word drabbles, my word was 'medusa' so this is what I came up with I hope you enjoy.
Pairing: Archeologist!Bucky x Female!Reader (AU)
Warnings: None, black market auctions, mild violence (nothing gruesome), mythology rewriting using creative liberty lol, knives mentioned.
Word Count: 905 (yeah even i don't believe i could stop myself here)

Tumblr media
A series of grunts echo around the silent temple. Blue eyes follow the dust bellowing upwards from the stone tomb. Bucky huffs, pushing the stone again. A small gap finally created.
Sweat pools on his brow, grabbing the flashlight to peer into the tomb. Empty. Yet again.
“Fuck.” He looks around, there must be something salvageable, something to get him out of the tricky situation. The flashlight gleams over something on the north wall.
Bucky scrambles towards it, laughter found in the relief of spotting the gem. The light tucked between his teeth, carefully he uses his tools to dislodge the opalescent stone.
It tips forward into his palm. Raising it up he observes it, this would do, a fabricated story of the lost jewel of a goddess’ crown or necklace. The money of collectors and snobs would come rolling in, he tosses the stone up and down, weighing it in his palm.
Oh this definitely would work in his favour.
The winning bid makes Bucky and the man waiting for his money very happy. He gets to keep a handsome portion. Lay off the jobs for a while.
He goes to the nearest bar to celebrate, tie loosened and a hefty number of digits in his account.
“Barnes.” Marc Spector greets, clad in a clean cut suit.
“Spector.” Bucky places his glass of whiskey down on the bar table, “Back from the Middle East?”
“Oh I’m in and out you know this, there is someone asking for you however. A job if you will.” Marc looks to the side then back at Bucky.
“I’m not looking for a job.” He lifts the glass to his lips again.
“Yes but this employer is looking for you.” Marc gestures to the private rooms with a nod of his head.
Bucky regards Marc’s dark eyes, he had immense respect for the man. They had worked alongside on projects together. There was a certain level of trust the two shared.
“Alright, I’ll bite.” Drowning the rest of the burning liquid, Bucky licks his lips following Marc to the private rooms.
The mercenary knocks on the door. Bucky tucks his hands into his pockets though his gloves are on he prefers to keep them tucked away.
Marc opens the door, “You’re on your own.” He mutters, the archeologist nods, slipping past the threshold. The door closes behind him.
The dim lights and couches are empty. Bucky’s lips quirk in the slightest. Turning to the left he blocks the hand that encircles the knife.
Twisting and gaining control of it, he moves back. Defending himself against the hits.
Landing a few of his own, the bottle green dress twirls around you as you move around him.
A very deadly goddess. He thinks, he hears your amused laugh.
When his gaze meets your eyes, he stops moving. Every cell in his body froze into place.
“Hmm, I do wish we could have played longer, Mr. Barnes.” You tut, hips sashaying as you walk back to the couch, knife twirling between your fingers before you tuck it into the holster on your thigh.
His eyes are free tracking your movements.
What have you done to him?
Was there a drug in his drink?
How is he still upright?
You sigh, sounding bored.
“I do love the theory you came up with for the stone at tonight’s auction.” You sip a very fruity drink, “Hmm at least the alcohol concoctions have improved over the years.”
Years?
“Now, a goddess’ favourite gem, hidden away in her temple, away from prying hands. But her utmost devout servant stole it from her, because he thought she didn’t love him back.” You list the made up theory verbatim.
Slowly Bucky feels his fingers beginning to move, you smile at him.
“Now, the reason I asked for you is, I want the gemstone. I don’t care how you do it, I don’t care what the costs are, you will return that item to me.” You watch as he swallows, testing his throat control.
“Why do you want a stolen relic?” He rasps, soon he feels ropes wrap around his limbs, tightening and pulling him down to his knees dragging him across the floor. When he feels the texture on his skin he realises its scales.
Widened eyes meet yours yet again, you only smile before standing and cupping his jaw. Your nails softly dig into his cheeks.
You turn his head side to side observing him.
“It would be a shame to curse you.” You coo at him. Your free hand stroking his cheek.
“Is there only one way to curse me?” He challenges, your nails dig in a little more. His eyes darken.
You chuckle, “Your conning skills won’t work on me.”
He breathes deeply, keeping his gaze locked with your own.
“You stole from me, Mr. Barnes. When you entered my temple. Tried and then opened my tomb, then decided, ‘Oh, a pretty stone is the way to go’.” You tilt your head as you watch the thoughts in his mind connect, intertwining the loose ends.
“Medusa.” He whispers, sure of himself.
“The one and only.” You smile, Bucky’s lips part in the slightest as you lean in closer, “So tell me, are you going to bring my little gemstone back, my little artefact thief?”
Bucky licks his bottom lip, then his teeth softly dig into the flesh, “It would be foolish to deny a goddess.”

i love the fact that my two main book series that i’m into have complete opposite main characters and yet i absolutely love both them
Percy Jackson: Will jump in-front of very sharp and dangerous weapons to ensure his friends safety, will turn down immortality and god status, throw himself into literal hell for his girlfriend, gone on like 27 quests, fought and lead two major wars and countless battles for the gods and is about to go on another quest despite all of this just so Zeus will give him a recommendation letter for uni, has buried countless friends and family, been betrayed by said friends and had to kill some of them for his own protection, went on a quest to save his mother from the god of the underworld despite being 12 years old, had never held a sword until 4 hours ago and will 8/10 perish, nearly dived off a cliff after his crush, offered to stay in hell just so his girlfriend can escape, and was complicit in the ‘murder’ of his abusive step father, using medusas head to turn him into stone and then sell the statue for a lot of money and using said money to better their lives and repair the mental damage he caused
Kaz Brekker: will dangle you over the side of a building for information and then drop you, burn a hole in your ceiling and crash into your dining room table with your disgraced runaway son, threaten to arson your innocent girlfriends house, beat up 20 or so members of the gang he is also in, use you as insurance, use you as a hostage, use you as a distraction, have your sole part in the plan to be get beat the fuck up and leak the rest of the plan, fake your assassination and keep you so close to death and simply hope you’ll wake up but it doesn’t matter if you don’t, tell you he’s buried your son alive in a field in the middle of nowhere to traumatise you but he hasn’t, ask you if your mother is a whore and then knock you the fuck out, never tell anyone else the plan which will result either in you being seriously wounded, kidnapped or dead, use your father to get other people to embezzle funds into an auction for the guy you’re gonna assassinate, kidnap your pregnant wife and hold her to ransom, rip your eye out, threaten to rip out the other one, say he’ll drop you off in the next town if you give him the information he wants but when you give him said information he throws you into the sea to either drown or die of infection but it’s okay because he’s “the kind of bastard they only raise in the barrel”

Words: 821 words
The auction had been somewhat of a success.
She did manage to get that Medusa bracelet which she had had her eye on, but had failed to get the painting of Judith beheading Holofernes. And then Mr. Murray and Sir John had been red with rage as they tried to outbid themselves over some miniature warship, which had been delightful to watch. Like two dogs fighting, not the scrappy street kind fighting for a bone, but the fat little lapdogs, who could barely move wiggling their ugly bodies to reach a treat first.
Afterwards, there was more champagne, canapes, and chatter, but she soon excused herself to the restrooms, not because she needed to, but because she wanted some silence.
Using the opportunity, she was just retouching her lipstick, when the door opened once more, revealing a no longer strange face.
“Ah sorry,”, Mrs Shelby mumbled as she saw her.
“Don’t worry.”, she told her with a smirk. “This is the Ladies room - you have as much right to be here as me.”
The corner of her lip twitched and she glanced at the door, making her realise the meaning of her words.
For a woman of admirable height, Mrs Shelby moved like one half her size, as if she wanted to make herself as small as possible, almost unnoticeable.
It was sad to see, but it was a sad world, so she wasn’t surprised.
Not wanting to stare, she turned her back on the other woman and went back to her lipstick.
To her surprise though, Mrs Shelby watched her.
“My husband says you have a reputation.”, she said.
“I suppose we all do.”
She huffed slightly.
“He says you enjoy tormenting men.”
That made her smile, and she turned, biting the desire to lick her freshly painted lips.
“I don’t torment men, Mrs Shelby, at least not unless they deserve it.”
She tilted her head and smirked.
“And it is not for enjoyment, it is for a sense of justice- or satisfaction.”
Mrs Shelby didn’t look all too convinced and so she walked over to her and gave her hands a little squeeze.
“I don’t mind men, Mrs Shelby. I just happen to be able to see humorous way of their collective existence.”
“Like what?”, she wanted to know.
“Well,”, she mused, “For one they always like to remind us that we are the weaker sex.”
She clicked her tongue as if she was scolding them at the notion.
“Well, I have children, so do you, don’t you?”
The realisation made her smile just barely as she nodded.
“Alright, yes.”
“Quod erat demonstrandum.”, she said, already half turned when she saw a flash of fear in her eyes, before she quickly lowered them.
That short quick moment of their shared joke was gone, shattered on the ground by her slip of the tongue.
By now, by her voice and posture and the way she presented herself, she had long realised that Mrs Shelby wasn’t comfortable here. And now she had made her even more uncomfortable, which wasn’t at all her intention.
“It means “which was to be demonstrated.””, she said softly, “People use it when they’ve proven their argument.”
“Oh.”, Mrs Shelby muttered, clearing her throat.
“No need to blush.”, she assured her. “Latin is a terrible beast of a language, in fact, it is said that if the Romans themselves had to learn it, they never would have had the time to conquer half the known world. But it is rather useful if you want to appear smarter than you actually are.”
She dismissed it all with a wave and felt a pang of relief when Mrs Shelby seemed to relax slightly.
“There are like twenty phrases people use and the rest, well, everyone’s forgotten that as soon as they leave the school room. So if it goes beyond that, people just nod and pretend, without daring to question it as they are all afraid of being called out.”
“Is that why you like to humiliate men, ‘cause they don’t know what they are talking about?”
There was uncertainty in her voice, and she knew the question had a double meaning.
“I don’t mind a lack of knowledge. In fact, there are infinitely more things I don’t know than those I will ever have the time to learn. Unfortunately, not everyone disagrees with my assessment. Most people have rather insufferable delusions of grandeur.”
Offering the other woman a smile she took a deep breath.
“I don’t like to humiliate in anyone, but I do have a certain and rather concrete dislike about people who refuse to accept the limitations of their own personhood, station, knowledge, role in society. It is usually them who preach water and drink wine and I can’t stand that.”
She smiled up at the taller woman.
“I’m sure you have the misfortune of knowing the kind.”
Mrs Shelby snorted.
“Oh trust me I do.”

“This epic wrap-around cover is the work of fan-favorite Steve McNiven and appeared on the 2017's Monsters Unleashed #1, the first issue of an event series in which Marvel's contemporary heroes battle some of the many 'Pre-Hero' monsters co-created by Jack Kirby in the early 1960s. The cover features many of Marvel's most popular heroes in battle with some of the company's cult classic monsters, Fin Fang Foom, It the Living Colossus, Goom and Gorgilla. The heroes include both versions of Spider-Man, Peter Parker and Miles Morales, as well as Iron Man, Captain Marvel (Carol Danvers), Thor (Jane Foster), Wolverine (Laura Kinney), Captain America (Sam Wilson), Black Bolt, Medusa, Rocket, Ms. Marvel (Kamala Khan) and more. The name Monsters Unleashed comes from a Marvel black and white magazine published in the mid-1970s. Marvel's 'Pre-Hero' monsters, including such well known characters as Groot and Fin Fang Foom, first appeared in the late 50s and early 60s in a series of short one-shots, a few of which had sequels. In the early 70s, the monster stories were reprinted in a series of anthology titles such as Monsters on the Prowl, Where Creatures Roam and Where Monsters Dwell. This exposure to a new generation of fans and creators led to some of the monsters appearing in new stories where they would interact with Marvel's superheroes. Fin Fang Foom, who first appeared in Strange Tales #89 in 1961 the month before Fantastic Four #1, became a foe of Iron Man in the 1970s and appeared in animated cartoons. It, the Living Colossus first appeared as the Colossus in Tales of Suspense #14 (1961). The character was revived as "It, the Living Colossus" and briefly appeared in his own series in Astonishing Tales in 1973-1974. Goom first appeared in Tales of Suspense #15 (1961) and Gorgilla first appeared in Tales to Astonish #12 (1960).”

Nancy Drew, Ep. 1x06 – The Mystery of Blackwood Lodge
Okay, it’s taken six episodes; but I’m hooked.  I mean, I still am not invested in the relationships and such (although Bess and Lisbeth are kind of sweet).  But I do like the quirky nature of the show and the mystery is quite good.
Ball, Pegasus, Kraken, Medusa.  Nancy is trying to find out the connection between Lucy and Ryan based on a poem Lucy wrote.  Those words are brought up.  They will be important.  Nancy goes to Ryan’s house and, because he didn’t answer the door after three seconds, Nancy figures that means she has permission to just walk inside.
Inside, she finds an overturned dining chair.  We have a quick Lucy appearance.  And then she finds an invitation with a bird on it. It’s the same bird that can be found drawn on Lucy’s poem.  Then, Nancy flashes back to Karen talking about how Lucy changed after going to an underground party.  The invitation itself says “The Velvet Mask,” and “dusk.”
Meanwhile, at The Claw, Bess is obsessing about her first date with Lisbeth.  George just wants her to shut up and get to work.  Nick asks if Nancy is at The Claw because he found more information on Owen (let me guess, we’re going to find out Owen was helping Tiffany at some point?).  Nancy comes in and we get exposition about The Velvet Mask; that it is an underground party held by rich people every five years.  It’s always held in a different location.  That townies who go to the party, end up being…hunted?  (Sure the last one is probably an urban legend, but who knows with this show).
Nick talks to Nancy about Owen, and reminds the audience that Tiffany was digging up information on the Hudson’s.  Still, Owen’s name keeps popping up and the Hudson’s and the Marvin’s do do business together.  Nancy says she’ll talk to Owen.
Nancy meets up with Owen and she asks if he and Ryan are business partners or mortal enemies.  He tells her they’re both.  He then asks if this question comes from Nick, as he’s noticed him following him around.  Nancy then asks about The Velvet Mask, specifically where and when.  Nick says he’s happy to talk to her tomorrow over dinner. Nancy deduces this means he has plans that night; which, given his look, is a yes.  So, the invite must be for tonight.  Then, he invites Nancy to go sailing with him sometime.
Nancy goes home.  As soon as she steps inside, someone slams the door behind her.  It’s Ryan who “didn’t mean to scare her?”  (Really, dude?).  He thinks someone is trying to kill him.  Okay, info dump time.  Ryan is there because he needs Carson, but apparently is willing to tell Nancy his story. Ryan thinks someone is trying to kill him.  The night before he heard someone rummaging through his house and he went to sleep in a motel.  The thing is Ryan owes money to some bad people and he can’t pay them because he’s been cut off by his father because his father found out about the kiss at the fundraiser.  He, oh geez this is lame, just so happens to have these Roman Coins that he can sell at an underground auction tonight; except he can’t get to them because they’re in his family’s storage facility.  He was hoping Carson could pull some strings.  Of course, Carson is in Boston; but it’s a good thing that Nancy is a master at B&E. She’ll get the coins, if Ryan takes her to The Velvet Mask.  We don’t get his answer her, but you know he’s going to do it.  Also, Nick calls during this scene and Nancy rejects the call. This is the second time this has happened, which usually spells bad things in Teen Dramas.  I’ve got a feeling they won’t last (and, uh, I kind of know what happens between her and Ace later).
Meanwhile, Bess has decided she and Lisbeth will have a late lunch at The Claw.  Ace coaches Bess in the ways of dating, as she doesn’t date much. It’s a nice scene.  Lisbeth comes to The Claw that afternoon and it’s an awkward cute date.  However, Lisbeth has to leave early because of a family emergency; which Bess thinks was just her trying to get away from a bad date.
At the same time, Nick and George are looking through the files; trying to figure out why Tiffany was also looking at the Marvin’s.  Nick isn’t sure what all of these documents are; but George knows that they are a shipping manifest (her family has been in fishing industry for three generations). George asks if Nancy got information out of Owen.  Nick tells her Nancy hasn’t called back, to which George makes a face.
Back at Nancy’s, Nancy asks Ryan about Lucy Sable and if she was at The Velvet Mask the year before she died.  But before this conversation goes on, there is a knock at the door.  Nancy opens it to find Nick and George standing there.  So, they’re wondering what’s going on and Nancy tries to make an excuse, but she opens the door too far and they see Ryan in the house.  Nancy steps on to the porch and shuts the door.  Nick and George are trying to figure out why Nancy seems to be helping Ryan, until Nancy mentions that she thinks Ryan killed Lucy.  When that confuses her friends even more, Nancy finally admits to being haunted by Lucy.  And if she’s bringing it up this soon, my guess is that Ryan may not have anything to do with Lucy’s death.  Eh, scratch that, he may not have killed Lucy, doesn’t mean he doesn’t know anything about it.
Anyway, Nancy tells Nick and George she thinks that something may have happened to Lucy at the party.  At which point, George and Nick wonder why Nancy has never brought up any of this before; like she didn’t trust them.  (To be fair, though, neither of you two believed in ghosts until, like, yesterday, so….).  Anyway, she tells them she’s hoping to find out information about what happened to Lucy (by going to a party, 20 years later?).  Nick asks “what about Tiffany?” to which Nancy says she’s put some calls out to the person she sent the blood sample too.  Nancy asks if they’re good, Nick says “100%.”  They were, in fact, not good.
Nick and George goes back to his truck, where Gorge calls him out on his bs.  However, Nick looks through the shipping manifest and finds something about Roman coins.  It must be the same ones, but “what are the chances?” he asks.  It’s called plot contrivance, Nick.  But George asks the important question, why are they important? But they’re going to find out because George knows someone.
And (Good Lord George!) she apparently gets the guy, who used to date her mom, to The Claw by pretending that Victoria wanted to speak to him.  She apologizes for Victoria not being able to make it, then Nick asks the man if he could look at something for them.  Real smooth, guys.  Uh…turns out it’s a shipping manifest of a ship that sank 18 years ago.  All of it’s crew and cargo was lost.  So, the coins are burial coins, the 12 coins of Charon.
Which Nancy has just stolen from the…That’s the secure storage facility?!  It has a chain on the door!
Anyway, the man leaves and Nick and George discuss.  It seems in Tiffany’s files there are several copies of cashed insurance checks.  If the Hudson’s put in a claim for those coins, well obviously insurance fraud.  But the more important thing is that, for them to have the coins, it is quite possible that they stole their own cargo and sank the ship/killed the crew to cover up their crimes.  If Ryan is trying to sell them, he must not know the whole story.  They figure that that’s why someone is trying to kill Ryan. Which is possible, but wouldn’t it be easier to just unfreeze the assets?  Or move the coins to a location that Ryan doesn’t know about?  I mean, I could totally see Ryan’s father able to kill his son, but….
Ok, so, back at Nancy’s home; Ryan is wondering where Nancy could be.  Ryan drops his wedding ring and he stoops down to retrieve it.  He hears creaking behind him, and he turns around. Lucy is there and he can see her. Furthermore, Lucy is able to grab Ryan’s arm.  As she does so, the metal on his ring starts to glow red.  Nancy comes into the room, she doesn’t see Lucy it seems, but she does see the burning ring on his hand and it’s clear something has his arm. Suddenly, Ryan is let go and he asks what that was.  Nancy says it was Lucy.
Ryan thinks, at first, that Lucy is haunting the house; but Nancy lets him know that the sounds at Ryan’s place was Lucy too.  Which means, was Lucy haunting him before Tiffany’s death?  Tiffany heard sounds too.  Nancy’s phone rings and she doesn’t answer.  Instead, she gives Ryan the poem.  Nancy believes Ryan is the Prince and he took Nancy to The Velvet Mask.  Ryan says that they had a summer fling and that was it; afterwards she ended up getting killed.
Nick calls again and Nancy goes into another room to answer.  Long story short, Nick doesn’t want Nancy to give the coins to Ryan as it is important to Tiffany’s investigation.  Nancy says that the coins won’t help solve Tiffany’s death (how would she know?  She doesn’t even know why their important).  Besides, she needs to give them to Ryan to solve Lucy’s murder and she hangs up.  Nick is understandably upset and doesn’t understand why Nancy is so single minded.  George points out that this has always been Nancy’s nature.  If they want the coins, they’re going to have to go to the party.  And the only way in, is if they go as the guest of someone who’s rich; like Laura Tandy.
Nick talks with Ace and sees if he can talk to Laura.  Now, while this is going on George is talking to Bess (this is right after the date) and asks if she wants a new dress and a chance to steal something at a party full of rich people.
Cut to the party and...where have I seen that staircase before?  Wait, is that the Sisters of Quiet Mercy?!  Fitting they used the same location.  So, Ryan and Nancy go in.  Ace, dressed as a Chofer, lets out Nick, George, and Bess.  Nick tells the guard they’re guests of Laura Tandy.  Nancy sees them arrive.
The three decide that they need to get masks before they go to the auction, where they plan to steal the coins.  Meanwhile, Nancy has ditched Ryan and is looking for the other items in Lucy’s poem (but if the location is always different, why would she expect to find them?). Well, Nancy finds two of the clues in the shape of masks hanging on the wall.  “I watched Medusa embrace the Kraken, but not her husband the King.” Ryan is the Prince, so the King is his father.  Which would make Medusa his mother.  Oh look, here’s Owen with more exposition.  The Kraken was his Uncle Sabastian and he wore that mask every year until he died. It’s looking less like Ryan murdered Lucy, but his family…and Carson worked for the Hudson’s.  Is that why the dress was there?  Is he involved somehow?
Anyway, Nancy asks if Owen knows anything about Ryan brining Lucy to the party 20 years ago.  But he doesn’t.  However, he is interested in those coins.  See, the ship was a venture between the two families.  If Ryan has the coins, it’s proof the Hudsons double crossed the Marvins.  One of the people on the boat was Sabastian, who was a rival of Everett Hudson.  Nancy tells him she doesn’t have the coins. Owen tries to convince her to leave and she agrees to, if he can tell her where to find a Pegasus.
Meanwhile, Ryan runs into his mother, who is doing everything possible to get Ryan not to sell the coins.  She even says that if Ryan gives her the coins, she’ll get the father to change his mind.  Ryan refuses.
Nancy is lead toward the Pegasus, when they run into Nick.  Owen reminds her to remember their agreement and tells her which room to go to.  Then, he leaves Nick and Nancy alone.  Nick follows Nancy, who hopes he isn’t here to steal the coins.  Wishful thinking.  Nancy’s says there’s too many of them there and they will all be thrown out before any of their goals are accomplished.  Look, this is basically set up so the Nick asks Nancy to let him in and she turns him down.  The problem is, she did tell him why she’s here; she’s being haunted by Lucy and she thinks that this party has something to do with her death.
We cut to George and Bess, who see Lisbeth working at the party.  She works for the Hudson’s, but there’s clearly something else going on. Bess is frustrated and Lisbeth is…quite possibly turned on.
Cut to Nancy, where she finds the Pegasus on a piece of furniture.  So, to put it together; Lucy was unhappy at the party and so she hid. From her hiding spot, she saw Sabastian and Ryan’s mother, Celia, together.  But it seems that maybe Celia caught Lucy?  She definitely catches Nancy.  The mother tries to be all sweet towards Nancy, until Nancy tells her about her suspicions (oh, she and Betty Cooper would work together so well).  At which point, the mother not-so-vaguely threatens Nancy.  But she expects Nancy can be discrete, just like her father.  Oh boy.
At the auction, Owen tries to convince Nick to work with him.  That would be a no.  Bess and Lisbeth flirt.  The auction for the coin starts, George screams, Ace turns off the power (how’d he get back there), and in the dark, Bess and Lisbeth kiss.  Then Bess remembers the plan and tries to grab the coins, but the lights come back on and she’s caught red handed.  It looks like Bess is in trouble, but Owen vouches for them and promises they won’t speak a word.  Nancy sees the three escorted out.
Ryan, at this point, sees a younger version of Lucy, who he calls Luce.  He goes into the room were she is.  Meanwhile, Nancy sees leaves on the floor, blowing in the wind. She goes back into the room and sees Ryan kissing Lucy; who’s back into her ghostly form.  Lucy grabs his arm and his wedding ring starts to burn him again. Nancy realizes that Lucy is upset about the ring.  On the ring, Lucy has engraved her name and an arrow pointing to Tiffany’s name. Lucy is trying to tell them her death lead to Tiffany’s.  Ryan understands how bad this looks, but he didn’t kill Lucy.  At the time, he was away a boarding school when Lucy was murdered. Ryan’s dad forbade his son to ever talk about Lucy again.
The truth is, Ryan did love Lucy and he took her to the party to impress her.  He knows something bad happened that night, but she wouldn’t tell him what.  Then, his parents wouldn’t let him talk to her and they told them they took care of Lucy. Nancy asks how and Ryan replies through Carson Drew.
Nancy goes home, afraid of what she learned.  However, she gets some good news from the person she sent the samples to. Tiffany’s results aren’t back yet, but there’s information on Lucy.  Turns out there were two different hair strands on the crown; Lucy’s and the killer. Furthermore, those hair stands belonged to a woman; which means Carson isn’t the killer.  Maybe.  Unless there’s another explanation for the hair.
At The Claw, the group is upset that their plan didn’t go so well (except Bess, she’s happy). Nick apologizes for getting the others in trouble.  Nancy comes in and everyone is upset with her for not helping out.  Even when Nancy shows them that she switched out the coins. (Um, three episodes ago, most of these people would have happily let Nick take the fall so they weren’t suspects anymore; so maybe not be so judgy against the person who’s currently being haunted.)  Nancy’s tells Nick she hopes that this gives him the chance to do what he wants, to turn the coins over to the police.  Nick’s response is that he hopes Nancy got what she want and…did he just break up with her? That just felt so final.
Nancy begins to tell the others that Tiffany’s and Lucy’s death may be connected, when they hear a car pull up to The Claw.  It’s Owen, who won the auction.  Owen is fine with loosing the coins as he knows that the reason Nick wants the coins to prove the Hudson’s were involved is some pretty immoral things.  And he just so happens to have the number to an FBI agent, who he’s willing to give to Nancy in case she finds the coins.  Wink, wink, nudge, nudge.
Meanwhile, Nick is watching from the window.  George suggests violence, but Nick says he’s good.  It’s clear to Nick that it may not work out with Nancy.  Meanwhile, Lisbeth comes by with pizza and so she and Bess seem to be working it out for now.  Owen asks Nancy out, but she says her heart belongs to Nick (yeah, about that…).  Nick is still watching and puts his head in his hands.  The camera focuses on the coins, that are starting to stand on their ends.
