Headcanon #14

Leo was 8 when he started teaching himself medical stuff. He broke his toe by stubbing it, so he learned how to treat it to hide it, because it was embarrassing.

No one even found out that he had any medical knowledge until 2 years later when Mikey broke his leg while skateboarding and Leo immediately started treating it expertly.

They didn't find out why Leo taught himself medical stuff until 3 years after that, when they were playing truth or dare with April during a family sleepover.

Donnie dared him to tell an embarrassing secret he'd never told anyone. Donnie was really trying to get Leo to admit that he actually doesn't like pineapple pizza and only eats it to mess with Donnie.

When Leo told everyone about his broken-stubbed toe they all started laughing hysterically.

For the twins next birthday Mikey and Raph worked together together to make to make Leo a shirt that said "I taught myself medicine to hide my broken toe", it had a drawing of 8-year-old Leo with a comically large cast on his toe.

Leo is streaming. He's just chatting with the audience because multiple games are updating, including the one he planned to play, and is waiting for the notification that it's down.

His model is dressed in blue flannel over a white shirt with jeans.

Leo: My twin said they were working on a helper, like Shelldon, for mine M and Reds streams.

Chat: Why can't you just use Shelldon?/You would all use the same helper?

Leo: Shelldon is technically a helper AI/assistant that's connected to D's main setup, and as for why we'd all use it, is because streaming is our side gig.

Chat: What!? Side Gig? You have a 'real' job?

Leo: Wow, what a response. Yeah, I'm working at a clinic as part of a medical program, M works at a local restaurant while selling his art, and Red is part of a small local wrestling league.

Chat: *various wild reactions, a garbled mess, so normal*

Leo: D works mainly on commissions, and tends to a large garden, when not streaming.

Chat: Commissions?

Leo: They build and fix tech stuff. Though he also does alot of programming.

Shelldon flies in: Hey B, half of the downloads are done!

Leo: Does that mean I can start my game?

Shelldon: Sorry Dude, right now mods you use are still updating.

Leo: How much longer?

Shelldon: According to the speeds anywhere between 10 minutes to 4 Hours.

There is a long pause, Leo lets out a long sigh, his model slumps over in exasperation. Shelldon flies off to who knows where. Leo gets back up, checks the time.

Leo: Well chat, how about a lunch date, and I tell you about some of the stupid things me and my brothers did as teenagers!

Chat goes a bit nuts as Leo switches the scene to a diner booth with some pizza and a soda in the center. They never get around to playing any video games.

Rottmnt Leo headcannon

So, I’m a big Rottmnt fan and honestly have a random idea about the Medic! Leo headcannon. A lot of people believe Leo might be a Medic in the hidden city, which is what I’d like to add on to. What if Leo went to the Hidden city and worked as a pediatrician in one of the Hidden City’s hospitals? It’s a random idea that popped into my head at 3am, Leo just seems like he would be good with kids to me, and for some reason now I’m kinda obsessed with the idea.

Doctor Triage - A.K.A The Medic of the Family

A what if Leo also has a Alter persona like Mikey

One of my favorite brands of the Medic Leo headcanon is him only really having the knowhow of how to best use a medkit up until the invasion. Sure, he could fix a boo boo with the slightest of ease and he had the color coordinated bandaids he knew Mikey loved, but his knowledge didn’t really go past first aid training. There was never a real reason for more - after all, it’s not like they were ever hurt for very long, and not often or too badly.

And then the invasion happened, and Leo looked at the state his brothers were in, looked at the state he himself was in, and decided that maybe he could spend his time bedbound on something more helpful than being lost in his own head.

He needed to be a better team player, so- what better way was there than being a medic?

Headcanon #2

Leo has three types of handwriting.

His real handwriting: Fancy cursive that looks professional and rivals Donnie's. He uses this with Donnie only.

The handwriting we see in canon: Clunky misshapen with random uppercases that he uses in front of everyone else. He uses this one in front of everyone just to mess with Donnie, Donnie has said that it isn't Leo's handwriting but no one believes him.

The classic doctor handwriting: He taught himself it when he was 8 because he wanted to be more like real doctors. He used it once for a paper contract with Big Mama, she misread enough that she signed the contract, agreeing to give Leo a lifetime supply of uranium for free. He then gave Big Mama a translated version of the contract. On the Twins 21st (the year Splinter agreed that Donnie could have uranium) Donnie also received two copies of the contract.

Hhhhhhhhhhh qvq I was planning on uploading the last 5 pages all together, but this is all I’ve managed to get done the past month because the pages are packed with stuff and also work has been crazy busy with 60ish hour weeks. Since it’s been so long I thought I’d upload the 2 pages instead of delaying longer.

I learned from doing this that cracked ribs and bruised ribs have the same general treatment 8′D

side note: flail chest is when broken ribs are completely detached and have a risk of puncturing organs. That’s why Leo checked Mikey first, to make sure he didn’t have that. =3=b

Leo is streaming, his model is dressed in a blue unicorn hoodie, and blue jeans, it's seated at a bistro table with a afternoon tea set on the table. River is also on the table munching on a cookie. There is a chat box close to where River is sitting.

Leo: Okay, so I've mentioned I work at a clinic right, one day a client comes in and just says 'I need the Tea.' I sat there a little confused until I finally ask, do you want the top gossip, a drink, or are you looking to fill a prescription?'

Leo, and his model both take a drink of tea.

Leo: They understandably got annoyed, before handing me their prescription. Though they did ask if there was any good gossip I could legally tell them.

Chat is in a frenzy about this.

River: There are multiple people who want to know if you're clinic is very sketchy.

Leo: Is this about the whole some things being weirdly controlled? If so the clinic I work for found ways to make medicine that's not sketchy, just took a long time to develop working alternatives that didn't have very bad effects to the body.

River: D.M.B.RedFan wants you to clarify what you mean. Also.

River smacks the chat box with her fan a dozen times. Multiple people were 'Knocked Out'.

Leo: Well, I helped make, and test the prototype doses to see how they effect the body. It was a long and kinda painful process, but hey we needed a lab rat, and I wanted to, well...

Leo looks a little embarrassed. Then clears his throat.

Leo: Anyway, let's move onto a different subject, who wants to hear about the time I accidentally crashed into a movie shoot!

Chat is still going nuts, and at least a dozen people were 'knocked out' for trying to push the subject. But some noticed a Trans Rights sign was on the 'wall' behind Leo.
