☆ dino x gn!reader — domestic fluff!
☆ from repairing a sink to love confessions on the kitchen floor
9pm is right around the corner, and you know for a fact that your boyfriend is far from being done with repairing the leak under your kitchen sink. but of course he won’t accept defeat, which is why you resorted to having dinner on the floor, sat next to him to keep him company.
“you really should go lie down on the couch” chan tells you from beneath the sink, his voice muffled and punctuated by the clinks of his tools. “this isn’t good for your back.”
he’s not wrong, this position is definitely not the comfiest even though you managed to rest against a piece of furniture. but the view isn’t so bad here, you think to yourself, contently watching his arms flex as he twists and tightens metal pieces here and there.
“but if i leave who’s going to feed you those baby tomatoes?” you ask, looking at the half-eaten bowl in front of you.
putting his tools down, he emerges from under the sink with a contented sigh, stretching his limbs as he sits upright. “you’re such a simp” he chuckles, yet still gladly opens his mouth for you to throw yet another tomato inside.
with an exaggerated scoff, you put a hand over your heart in mock offense: “excuse me? says the biggest simp ever?”
the thing is, you don’t even mind being called a simp; you’re lucid enough to know that it’s only the truth. similarly, chan doesn’t mind it either, but it’s just so much more entertaining to deny and act like it offends him.
“if there’s a simp in this room it’s definitely you. and allow me to tell you why…” you tell him as he returns to the small confined space below your countertop.
you don’t even have to make an effort to gather your thoughts, countless examples just flow naturally into your brain: “first of all, you always carry me on your back when we’re walking back home from a party. you kiss me goodbye every morning even when i’m still asleep. you have a picture of me in your wallet, i’m your phone and ipad wallpaper. also, you keep a secret box on your side of the closet where you put all the receipts from our dates…”
a few seconds of silence follow your words.
when you lean to your side to finally catch a glimpse of your quiet boyfriend, it turns out he’s looking right back at you, a surprised expression painted on his face: “i didn’t know you knew about the box.”
suddenly, he gets the funny sensation that you’re definitely going to win this round.
“i know many things” you affirm, a satisfied smile on your lips as you keep going: “i know that you always keep one of my doodles in your phone case. i know that you bought duplicates of my skincare products to keep in your car as an emergency kit. and i also may or may not have heard you talk to seungkwan about me…”
this time, it’s a loud bang that comes to punctuate your sentence. but before you can even start to worry, chan yells a reassuring “i’m okay!” before getting out of there once again, “just dropped my tool, that’s all. but now let’s circle back to what you just said…”
with a chuckle, you notice a slight embarrassment spreading on his face, his cheeks turning a familiar shade of pink.
your relationship has never been a secret, so it wasn’t a surprise to know that he likely spoke about you to the other members. however, you hadn’t truly considered the nature of those conversations until a few months ago, when you had sort of eavesdropped on a discussion.
“don’t be embarrassed” you reassure him, a playful spark in your eyes: “it was nice to hear you describe us as a “perfect match” and feeling like “a married couple already, but in the best possible way”.
at this point, his surrender is palpable. “okay, you win. maybe i am a simp,” he concedes, a mixture of defeat and self-consciousness coloring his voice. his shoulders sag slightly, but his gaze is still full of affection. “i can’t deny it anymore. just like i can’t deny that I’m not a handyman. i actually have no idea if I’m fixing this thing or just making it worse.”
“i think it’s time to leave the plumbing to the experts,” you tease, taking the screwdriver out of his hands, “let’s bail on this floor and go cuddle on the couch; i’ll order some proper food.”
with just those words, he flashes you a bright smile, one that you know so well you could sketch it from memory. as he rises to his feet, he looks at you earnestly: “i meant what i said to seungkwan, you know,” he confesses, his voice softer than usual.
you take a brief moment to let his words and his sincerity sink in: “i know, baby,” you reply, your own voice matching his softness as you grab his hand to get up. “and that’s exactly how i feel too.”
his smile grows even bigger, relieved to see that you not only understand the depth of his love for you, but reflect it back to him as well. it’s all he’s ever hoped for, really — to find someone he could trust implicitly, someone he could pour all his love into, knowing it would be returned with the same intensity.
“we really are made for each other,” he states, giving you a proud nod as he pulls you close, arms wrapped around your waist.
“yeah, look at us. in love, both clueless about fixing that sink. perfect match.”
with a heartfelt laugh, chan gently rests his hand on your neck, pulling you closer for a kiss; the kind that lingers for a few more seconds than what you expected. just enough time for the both of you to think about how lucky you are to have found each other in this lifetime.
requests are open!

Timebomb but in college:
The art studio was quiet, save for the low hum of a fan spinning overhead and the gentle scratching of pencils against sketchbooks. The late afternoon sun poured through the tall windows, casting golden rectangles across the hardwood floors and catching on the vibrant streak of blue in Jinx’s hair as she leaned over her sketchpad.
Jinx was anything but conventional. Her style was chaotic, a mess of doodles and scribbled phrases scrawled in every direction. But there was a charm to her chaos—a story hidden in the erratic lines and overlapping colors. She chewed on the end of her pencil, her leg bouncing under the table. Her combat boots tapped against the chair leg rhythmically, breaking the silence.
Across the room, Ekko sat at his own table, head bent over his work. His dreads were pulled back into a loose ponytail, a single strand hanging rebelliously in front of his face. He was meticulously shading a cityscape, every detail in the foreground and background placed with intention. His style was the polar opposite of Jinx’s, and yet they fit together in a way neither could fully explain.
He glanced up, his dark eyes catching on the figure across the room. Jinx, deep in thought, looked like she was concocting something in that chaotic brain of hers. Ekko smiled faintly and shook his head before going back to his sketch. But a few seconds later, his pencil stopped mid-stroke.
“Hey, Powder,” he called, the name slipping out naturally, teasingly.
Jinx’s head shot up, a smirk already forming on her lips. “Don’t call me that, stopwatch,” she fired back, her voice carrying easily through the quiet room.
Ekko chuckled, leaning back in his chair. “What are you working on over there? Another masterpiece?”
Jinx held up her sketchpad, turning it around dramatically. It was an explosion of colors and swirling lines—figures and objects barely distinguishable from one another. Somewhere in the chaos, he could make out the faint outline of a figure mid-leap, surrounded by jagged bursts of energy.
“Wow,” he said, leaning forward with mock-seriousness. “I think that might be your best yet. Totally screams ‘I didn’t do the homework.’”
Jinx laughed, loud and unapologetic. She dropped the sketchpad onto the table and leaned her chin in her hand, her blue eyes sparkling. “What about you, huh? Still drawing buildings like you’re auditioning for some boring architecture firm?”
Ekko spun his sketchbook around to show her. The cityscape was breathtaking, with towering buildings and intricate shadows cast by streetlights. But in the corner of the page, there was something new—a tiny figure sitting on a rooftop, her hair whipping wildly in the wind. The detail was unmistakable.
Jinx blinked. “Is that…?”
“Yup,” Ekko said, grinning.
“Me?” she asked, leaning forward as if to get a closer look. Her voice was softer now, her usual sharpness replaced by something almost shy.
“Who else would it be?” Ekko shrugged, trying to sound casual. But the slight flush on his cheeks gave him away. “You’re always on my mind anyway. Figured I’d sneak you into my city.”
Jinx stared at him, her usual snark momentarily failing her. Instead, she tilted her head and let a genuine smile tug at her lips. “You’re such a sap, stopwatch.”
“And you love it,” Ekko shot back, closing his sketchbook and standing up.
He walked over to her, pulling a chair next to hers without asking. Jinx didn’t protest; instead, she scooted over slightly to give him room. He leaned his elbows on the table and looked at her sketchbook again.
“You know, it’s messy, but it’s got heart,” he said, tapping the page lightly. “Just like you.”
Jinx rolled her eyes, but her cheeks turned pink. “If I didn’t like you so much, I’d punch you for that.”
“You can punch me anyway,” Ekko said with a laugh, nudging her shoulder.
They sat there in comfortable silence for a moment, their sketchbooks forgotten. The golden hour light bathed them in warmth, and the hum of the fan became a soothing background melody.
“Hey,” Jinx said suddenly, breaking the quiet.
“Yeah?” Ekko turned to her, curious.
“You ever think about how weird this is?” she asked, gesturing between them. “Like, you’re all… grounded and smart and stuff. And I’m—”
“Brilliant and unstoppable?” Ekko interrupted.
Jinx froze, then laughed. “You’re impossible.”
“And you’re incredible,” he said, his voice softer this time.
For a second, the air between them changed. Jinx’s usual bravado faltered, and Ekko’s confident grin softened into something more earnest. He reached out, hesitating for only a moment before brushing a stray strand of hair from her face.
“You’re really something, Jinx,” he said, his voice barely above a whisper.
For once, she didn’t have a sarcastic reply. Instead, she leaned forward, her forehead pressing lightly against his.
“Don’t make me regret this,” she murmured before closing the gap between them.
The kiss was gentle but electric, like a spark igniting something long overdue. It was messy, like Jinx’s sketches, and deliberate, like Ekko’s cityscapes. Perfectly them.
When they pulled back, Jinx was grinning, and Ekko couldn’t help but laugh.
“Guess that means you’re stuck with me now,” she said, her tone teasing but her eyes soft.
“Wouldn’t have it any other way,” Ekko replied, resting his forehead against hers.
The sun dipped lower in the sky, casting the room in shades of orange and pink. Their sketchbooks lay abandoned on the table, but neither of them cared. In that moment, everything else faded away, leaving only the two of them—and the beginnings of something extraordinary.

1000 kudos/100 Follower Special!
wow so um, there’s a LOT of you now
Tumblr media
👀👀👀
WHERE DID Y'ALL EVEN COME FROM LIKE?? HI!! 👋👋👋
AND ALSO
Tumblr media
THIS???? CRAZY, incredibly appreciated <3 but also wild
anyway, I think that deserves celebrating! So, here’s a couple ideas I came up with for y’all to vote on, with the option of sharing other ideas in the comments, I’ll do the top two and save the others for the next milestone :)
If the 'other' option gets the most/second most votes, I'll do another poll with ideas that people suggested and we'll go from there. You can scroll down and click the read more if you'd like more info on each option! SO, having said all that:
Letting you guys make the call with this one! I have stuff prepped for all of it, just a matter of people voting since this is ME showing my appreciation to YOU. And again, next milestone will have the opportunity for the other choices :)
Also, this isn't just for followers/the moots either! Anyone is welcome to vote and participate if they'd like to 💙💙
Please also feel free to ask questions in the comments if that helps you with voting! Can't wait to see what you guys pick :D
I will expand on each option here for clarity in your decision making:
CS one-shot: I will write a one-shot (3,000-5,000 words prob) based in the CS universe. It will be canon to the fic but will never be mentioned/referenced in the fic itself so stand alone to read. It may be a future scene, may be based somewhere in the current timeline. Open to ideas on the POV and such (though I have some floating around that I can do ;))
Q&A/Ask the Cast: a classic, I know my ask box is open but here's also a clear chance to ask something that you've been really curious about! I won't share spoilers for the story, but everything else is on the table, including stuff about me, writing etc. Just no super personal questions is all! Additionally, you can ask the cast questions and answers will be in character, perhaps with a little doodle as well ^-^
Finished refs/busts for the cast of CS: I'll post the finished versions of the rough sketches I shared a few months ago, along with the remainder of the cast! This includes the rest of the engineering team, the division heads, the glamrocks, and the DCA! I also will include little blurbs for all the characters as well. This will probably happen eventually anyway BUT if you want them sooner rather than later this is you're chance if you're curious :)
Spooky Season one-shot: something halloween-related that again I'm open to ideas for! Would also be about 3,000-5,000 words in length, could be related to CS or not
Writing Requests: similar to the requests I did for reveal day, same rules apply (no nsfw, suggestive is fine, be specific if you want specific) but a little longer in length (500-1000 words)
Doodle requests: I provide you with a little drawing I made with tender love and care (would be lined, colored, shaded, etc.)
A peek into the drafts: I do in fact have a couple other fic ideas floating around in my brain that I simply haven't started so that I don't get bogged down/focus on CS. I would share those and a little bit of concept art
Other: explained above

| Paint My Body |
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
•couldn't think of a description for this but it's filthy and cute!
•contains: femdom/sub, titty-fucking (aw yeah shawty) subby taeyong tingz, fluff at the end.
•Hi Besties!! Welcome to the only fluffy fic I'll write on this page (kinda sorta.) This was bumping around in my brain for a good little minute and I think I kinda ate with this one. This fic was heavily inspired by the SHALALA album pics where Taeyong is painting and doodling (love those pics btw)
•just a cute lil fluffy fic that I wanted to do for ya'll 💕 hope ya'll enjoy!
It was a beautiful fall morning as Taeyong was in his art room just painting away on a canvas since that was one of his favorite things to do outside of rehearsals and studio time. He always needed something to get away from the hectic world of being an idol, he couldn't be happier when you surprised him with his very own room to unleash his creativity. The door was wide open as you stood in the doorway watching the handsome man staring at the blank canvas, his hand kept pushing his hair back while rocking the most casual outfit to exist, which just a white shirt and blue jeans with his barefeet on the tarp.
"Knock, knock!"
"Goddess!"
"What are you up to in here?"
"Just trying to figure what to paint. I usually go with the flow of the brush but nothing is clicking"
You titled your head and looked at the canvas with him, your lips puckering up while trying to come up with an idea. It kinda shocked you on how Taeyong was having a block because it didn't happen often, a few drawings scattered across the walls made you smile. He was such an amazing artist and was blown away from his talent, an imaginary light bulb appeared over your head as you rested your hands on his broad shoulders.
"Y'know, what if you painted something that wasn't a boring white canvas?"
"Goddess, I don't wanna paint on the walls, I'm running out of room before going up to the celing"
You rolled your eyes at his response as you slid your hand to the tie of your black robe.
"No silly, not the walls! I'm talking about my body"
The robe slid off your body in one fluid motion, Taeyong's face started to turn a bright shade of red as he stared at you. Your body was absolutely perfect in his eyes, your big tits all the way down to your round pear shaped ass that he loved worshipping, your body was something that he dreamed about everyday. You winked at him as you threw your hair up in a thick bun and lying your naked body back on the tarp covered floor.
"Let me be your canvas, little rose"
The boy gulped and grabbed several paint buckets of different colors, opening each can carefully. The various colors that caught your eye was orange, yellow, blue etc. His hand was shaking before lightly drizzling the dark orange paint along your body. The paint had a slight chill to it and it caused you to arch your back off the floor and moan, this caused Taeyong to choke on his spit as he poured more colors on you, circling around you as paint got all over feet. His favorite color, which was pink, trickled over your full breasts as he watched you giggle from how the drops felt.
"How do I look so far?"
"Absolutely beautiful"
Taeyong stared at you with awe as you massaged your entire body, causing the paint to mix together a little bit. Your legs opening a little bit to reveal your pussy to tease him before closing them back together, you lifted your foot that had a fresh red pedicure done and rubbed it against the growing bulge in his pants, the blush getting deeper as he kept his eyes on your foot, a wicked laugh left your lips as he moaned lightly while humping your foot a little.
"So desperate. Take those pants off"
He quickly unbuttoned his pants and let them fall into the paint covered the floor, his hands going behind his back as he kept his eyes glued to your foot. To his credit, Taeyong was blessed down there and you couldn't complain about it, You lifted yourself up and rubbed your hands over your paint covered tits as you pulled the boy over to you, you dragged your hands down his slim thighs which made him stiffen up.
"Since you've been such a good boy for me, I think you deserve a reward. I'll let you fuck my beautiful tits that you just can't stop staring at until you cum, okay honey?"
"Y..yes goddess!!!!"
You wrapped your tits around his sensitive cock, giving him the signal to start thrusting slowly in-between your tits. Your eyes looked deeply into his sweet chocolate ones, it was almost like you put a spell on him. The power that you had over this boy was mind boggling, it made you feel so good that you had your own personal toy to indulge in whenever you wanted, but it also awoke something else inside you.
"Tell me how amazing my tits are"
"O...ooh god! Goddess your tits are a..amazing, soft and so so pretty! Just like you"
"Why thank you! I can tell you're getting close, little rose."
Your hand tugged on his balls a little bit and that caused a little yelp to escape from that cute mouth.
"I..I'm gonna cum! P..please p..please let me paint your beautiful tits with cum please! I..I won't make a mess I swear!"
"Mmmmmm cum for me, sweetheart."
Very loud moans filled the room as Taeyong came all over tits, the load being quite large since you didn't let him cum for a few weeks. His little body lightly going limp from how hard the orgasm was, both of your hands wrapped around him again and pumped together slowly.
"G..goddess! N..no please!!! P..please! I'll cum again! I'm s..still sensitive! P..please please!"
Another wicked laugh left your lips.
"Mmmmm keep begging like that, it makes you sound so pathetic. Go ahead and cum again all over my tits"
You ignored his please as more ropes of cum landed on your tits while you looked up to find tears sliding down his face from pleasure, you giggled and cooed at him as you let his paint covered cock go. His little body pressed against yours as you caught him in your arms, the both of you sat there cuddling in silence for a few minutes to let him rest.
"Thank you for my reward goddess. I really don't deserve your kindness. A..and um, thanks for letting me coat you in paint. You're a living work or art"
"Did that help clear the block in your brain?"
"I..it did!"
The both of you smiled at each other before he got up and tried to clean up some of the paint off of him before heading to the bathroom.
"I'm gonna start a bath for you, goddess! I'll add your favorite bubble bath and rose petals! Just the way you like it"
"Thank you honey, i"ll be there in a minute"
You watched Taeyong walk out of the room as your heart started feeling a bit funny, it started to feel warm and fuzzy and that was something you were not used it. You knew that you refused to fall in love since your breakup a few years ago, but your frozen heart started saying otherwise when you looked at the cancer boy who was living with you.
"What the hell is going on with me?"
End.

Sorry if you’ve answered this already, but what brushes do you normally use for your lineart and/or colouring/shading?
Hey! Thanks so much for the ask :D Disclaimers: - So I use an old version of Clip Studio (which I don't recommend ever since they became a subscription service... use Krita instead!) so the brushes may vary from program to program - I have never taken a digital art class in my life and have no idea how to do things the 'professional' way; so are there better options? probably! I just don't care :D
Tumblr media
I really only use the top four for most of my art, but I also provided the bottom four as honorable mentions. To be completely honest I've never even tried half the brushes that are available to me because creature of habit and laziness xD Maybe I'll make a project out of trying them... anyway List n Explanations under the cut because idk how to stfu:
Tumblr media
Textured Pen: I use this for most of my lineart and base coloring.
Tumblr media
Darker pencil: This is sketching brush, but I also like how lineart looks with this... my brain just wont let me post art I make with it 90% of the time because it looks unfinished/lazy and sketchy- even though my style is very sketchy anyway?? what the heck brain
Tumblr media
Marker Pen: I use this for base coloring, since it doesn't texture or overlap/shade itself at all
Tumblr media
Watercolor brush: My entire rendering process is 99% JUST this brush. Hair, Leather (cloth in general), Blending, Shading, Highlights, Lighting, Blending, Reflections... you name it, and I probably this one brush, love this thing xD When I hard reset my laptop a few years ago I reinstalled the newest version of Clip and it had NONE of these brushes so rather than scouring the shop for downloadable versions or- god forbid- learning how to use new brushes, I just reinstalled the old version lmao
Honorable mentions:
Tumblr media
G-pen: This was my lineart brush before I discovered the glory of the Textured pen. I still use this one sometimes if I want smooth lines, but it's also good for coloring smaller spaces since it has pressure sensitivity and the marker pen doesn't.
Tumblr media
Mechanical pencil: This was my original sketch brush, and also my original line brush if I'm remembering correctly. It's slightly different to the darker pen but I have no idea why I prefer that one over this one tbh. Maybe this one doesn't taper as much on the end...?
Tumblr media
Milli Pen: I like how this one is stupid. I think it makes my doodles more like 'real' doodles- but for everything else its kinda bad imo. You CAN use it to do color, but the pressure sensitivity is strange on it and I just prefer using it to write instead
Tumblr media
Running color edge watercolor: First of all why is it's name so long and second I only really use this one to show glowy effects. It's pressure sensitivity is so low you gotta draw over yourself like ninety times (I'm sure theres a setting to change that somewhere, but am I gonna look for it? nope) so you're better off using the normal watercolor brush
oh yeah, and my eraser:

(you don't have to do all of them...and for the record, I have no idea why the font is so big... But anyways, pick whichever ones you want to answer most! And feel free to answer in regards to your art, if you want, instead of your writing! <3)
Sawubona (Zulu: hello/I see you!) @rambling-tam! ^^ I chose to go for the BIG FONT version because it’s just too good to pass up (affectionately)! Thank you for navigating the seas and bringing these questions to me. I’m not sure if my answers will encroach onto TMI territory or not... but here we go:
10. Cltr+f "blinks" on your WIP & copy paste the first sentence/paragraph that comes up: ''...within—a color… a shade… something… Carmine? I’m starting to see things, Scarlett mused...''
17. What do you do when writing becomes difficult? (maybe a lack of inspiration or writer's block): I like to vent—getting a fresh perspective can really help. I always keep a device on me when I’m out and about, jotting down words, phrases, or bullet points. It’s not always convenient, though. Sometimes, I write about my problems in a dream diary. It might sound a bit woo-woo, but it works (ask Einstein). Going to bed with a seemingly unsolvable problem has proven effective more times than I can count.
I often get a-ha moments when I’m bored or engaged in mundane, repetitive tasks (Buddhists really do know their stuff). I practice active awareness when I walk on forest trails. Sometimes listening to a podcast while I doodle can help, too.
Most importantly, I set realistic goals; Like branches on a tree, let the story evolve and become complex over time. Habits take time to develop, and anything worth doing is hard, but I remind myself that I can ride it out. I am compassionate with myself on those days when I struggle to put a single coherent word on the page. I don’t know if this makes sense, but there it is!
28. On average, how much writing do you get done in a day? Honestly... I'm really out of shape when it comes to writing xD I’m not the kind of person who can produce 15 pages of text in one sitting. It might also be because I have to engage both sides of my brain since I'm writing in a different language, which comes with its own set of challenges and missed nuances. So yes, it definitely varies for me. I use the Pomodoro method; I set a timer and try to focus for no more than 20 minutes at a time, followed by breaks. Recently, I've been able to write between 1,500 and 2,600 words in a sitting.
31. Do you start with the characters or the plot when writing? It's usually the characters. Straight out of the frying pan and into the fire, as Gandalf would say, lol.
68. What, if anything, do you do for inspiration? I don't recommend it because it's a bit controversial, but I tend to have a very vivid and active imagination. I spend a lot of time in my own head. I don't like the negative connotations that come with labeling it as "maladaptive" daydreaming, especially since I am functioning well in my offline life. I think many people who write about this habit with dismay should consider whether they might be on the spectrum if they haven't been evaluated.
I also enjoy listening to music, going to the cinema, and reading or listening to other people's stories, whether they are fiction or non-fiction. Sometimes, a podcast driven by comedians can spark inspiration that keeps me occupied for hours. I have a great fondness for nature and all its creatures. I pay attention to butterflies and try to identify the odd little flower growing through the crack in the pavement.
Recently, I was inspired to write a poem after passing a great, gnarly, leafless tree on my way to an appointment. There was something about it that reminded me of Norse mythology and Aurgelmir, the giant once believed to have created the world.
40. If someone were to make fan art of your work, what fic or scene would you hope to see? Do fanfics written by brilliant writers (side eye) count as 'fan art'? ;)
73. What do you think makes your writing stand out from other works? A broad brushstroke—heavy-handed and inky black—reflects my life experience and individual journey, conveyed through symbols of the human condition. Much of my creative expression comes from pain; I need to channel, express, and sort the information and emotional footprints I wrestle with daily.
I once triggered an art teacher by expressing this. He, like many from his generation, believed difficult emotions should be bottled up and despised the stereotype of the depressed and tragic artist. I can respect his standpoint, but I reject the tyranny of toxic positivity. Feelings like fear, anger, and sorrow are often dismissed, yet they are crucial for growth and change.
This theme recurs in my art and writing. As a metalhead, I find inspiration in darkness, creating something light and honest from it ;)
Thank You 🪷

Hey, Mugi! I saw you reblogging the artist ask game, so I'm ready to fire away 😁 How about 9 and 30? And if it's okay, I'd like to add number 12 and hear (read lol) about your process 🥰
Hey there, Zahra! Thanks for sending me another ask, and of course I'm more than happy to answer😃 However, my Dory-brained friend/aff, you already asked me 12 here. But, fear not! I'm still gonna answer it and focus on something different this time.
Let's-a go!
9. How much time do you spend drawing on an average day?
This is a bit of a tough one. My drawing, painting and animating is very irregular depending on the day and my list of tasks or projects to do. It can be anything from 10-15 minutes spent on just doodling in my sketchbook to essentially all day. And then there are even some days when I don't get to actually draw anything at all. Not sure how to even count the average time taking all of that into account... maybe 2 hours a day, at least for the artsy things? I mean, there's also the design but not art related stuff I have to do, and sometimes the line between the two is a little blurry, but yeah, let's go with that for the art. I hope it makes at least some sense lol😂
30. What inspires you to not just make art, but also be a better artist?
I suppose it's the mixture of all of the artists and animators I admire being a huge source of inspiration, my natural ambition and love for the craft, and a little dream that I wanted to give a chance after failing to fully give up on it. The dream is to become a professional animator, though the problem is, between the time that dream first formed in my head (when I was like 6) and now a lot has changed, for example the types of animation in demand - I've always liked hand drawn animation the most and it has never really changed. But it's become a little niche now. Not to mention the possible dangers of gen AI. But I still keep trying to improve and maybe someday finally get to the professional level I'm aiming at.
And finally, an extra answer to 12:
12. Is it okay for people to ask you about your process?
This time, I'll tell you a bit about my process of drawing comics. I'm a complete amateur at this and have never even watched a single tutorial on how to do it, so I don't know if I'm doing this "correctly"... but I've developed a method that has been working for me just fine so far, and that's what matters in a non-professional setting! I create comics in Photoshop. Let me walk you through my process step by step:
Step one: rough sketch; when I figure out the entire layout of my panels, speech bubbles etc., as well as create the base for my drawings in each panel
Step two: panel frames; I typically use a rectangle tool because so far I've been very basic about the shapes of my panels
Step three: adding text
Step four: making the panel bases; what I mean is, I select my frames and create a mask in order to color inside the frame in a neutral shade of gray that I like to work on top of; then as I work on each panel, I create clipping masks for every layer, makes it easy for me
Step five: draw a speech bubble cleanish sketch/lineart; I do it separately for each panel
Step six: draw everything else's cleanish sketch/lineart; I also do it separately for each panel
Step seven: color panel by panel; I start with filling the speech bubbles with white on one layer per panel; then I like to color an entire panel on just one separate layer so I don't have to juggle between too many of them
Step eight: color the background; sometimes I do this step earlier, but usually once I have everything else colored, I still adjust it a bit; I often keep it very simple, like a gradient (fun fact about my I Was-a Too Late - The Comic: the first few pages all had a gradient that gradually became less saturated, starting with the same color the previous page ended with; to signify the shift in the mood from normal and bright to something much more grim; the saturation in the panels themselves also gradually changed for the same purpose^^); but sometimes the background or part of it can be a frameless panel, too, which spices things up a bit
That's it, that's been my comic drawing process so far!😃 Hope you found it interesting.
Thank you so much for the ask, my beloved friend!😊 Always happy to find you in my inbox.
The asks are all based on this game.

Sims 4 Valicer Outfit Fun II -- CC Edition
We interrupt your regularly-scheduled Chill Valicer Save updates with another "watch me play dress-up with my OT3 in Sims 4" post, courtesy of me downloading a bunch of custom content outfits a few weeks ago and having period brain this past weekend. :p Sometimes you gotta keep it simple, you know? Anyway, here's some new outfits for Smiler, Victor, and Alice, all with a lovely CC bent --
Tumblr media
First up, Smiler in an outfit from @the-crypt-o-club's 2022 Simblrween offering, Angsty Adolescence! The half-plain-black, half-black-and-yellow-checked pants were a MUST -- they remind me a bit of what Agent Joytide was wearing during the Smiler Takeover! The alternating yellow-and-black plastic bracelets also felt very appropriate to The Smiler's general theme, and of course I had to give them the yellow sneakers with the happy face and rainbow doodles and the cute Freezer Bunny t-shirt in yellow. XD I think Smiler's also sporting some custom eye make-up, though I don't know if that's from this particular pack or one of The Crypt-O-Club's other Simblrween offerings. Looks good, though -- great for a party outfit!
Tumblr media
Next up, let's have a Victorian Smiler, courtesy of @simmerofthedawn and their Men's Day Wear set from Part One of their Victorian Collection! This is a great set of men's suits, in both darker colors for Autumn/Winter and lighter palettes for Spring/Summer, so you'll always have a suit appropriate to the season! Plus they made a copy of the Vampires top hat and gave it SO many more swatches -- "33 shades" as per their own post! Seriously, the set is worth downloading just for THAT ALONE in my opinion. I naturally had to put Smiler in the swatch that contained the most yellow, and that proved to be this particular outfit -- even if the colors are a tad more muted than I'd like. Still, they look snazzy, and it is SO NICE to have a top hat that matches their outfit perfectly! :D
Tumblr media
We now move onto Victor's section, featuring him in his Crypt-O-Club outfit -- or, at least, one of their Freezer Bunny shirts from the Angsty Adolescence collection, in a kicky blue. I'm not 100% sure on the shorts and shoes, though I would GUESS they're also CC, as that's what I was mainly working with during this "playing dress-up in CAS" section. *shrug* Either way, he looks pretty nice -- I think this would be a good "workout" look for him!
Tumblr media
Back to Simmer Of The Dawn's Men's Day Wear for this picture, with Victor showing off one of the darker swatches for his outfit. In fact, I chose this particular outfit because it's actually as close to a "canon" Victor outfit as I'll probably ever get! The top half isn't quite right -- wrong type of necktie, waistcoat fastens too low down, coat tails are too long -- but it's still good, and the pants are REALLY good. Maybe a BIT dark, but still REALLY close to Victor's canon trousers. I approve. :D
Tumblr media
And while we're on the "Victor in actual Victorian clothes" train, here's Victor sporting a suit from Simmer Of The Dawn's Victorian Collection Part Four -- the Men's Day Suit collection! These also come in darker tones for Autumn/Winter and lighter ones for Spring/Summer, and feature higher waistcoats, slightly different tails on the coats, and bow ties. Victor's in a Spring/Summer light blue ensemble because I thought it looked nice on him and fit his usual color scheme, paired with a pretty gray top hat. Perfect for a promenade around town!
Tumblr media
The top hat from Simmer Of the Dawn remains, but we move onto a different creator for this outfit (minus the gloves and shoes) -- Historical Sims Life on blogspot, with their Boldness Beckons outfit converted from Sims 3! This is a nice, more wintery look for Victor, bundled up with a thick neck scarf against the cold. :) He looks very smart indeed!
Tumblr media
And finally, we end on a couple of Alice outfits, starting again with Crypt-O-Club's stuff! Alice here is sporting a dress from I believe the DIY Or Die fan pack -- what can I say, it looked really good on her! The shoes are another swatch of the Angsty Adolescence Converse (seriously, I love those, with all the fun doodles all over them -- you can customize them for any personality), while the stockings should ALSO be Angsty Adolescence, but might be from another pack -- I've downloaded ALL their "fan made stuff packs" at this point, so. . . XD Still, it's a great "punk princess" look for her I feel!
Tumblr media
And as for the Victorian look, I found this by @vintagesimstress -- the 1890s Working Girl Mini-Set! A couple of blouses and a trio of skirts based off what working-class ladies wore in the 1890s, as indicated -- Alice is wearing the shortest of the three skirt lengths because I like being able to see her feet. XD The set also comes with an apron overlay that you can put on as an "accessory" (under the "tights/stocking" option), but I forgot to put that on ^^;. Still, it's nice to see Alice in a classic Victorian blouse and skirt! Even if it's a bit weird to see her in anything that long. XD
And there we have it! I hope you enjoyed this CAS post -- NEXT week, back to the Chill Valicer Save and the store!

WE DID IT!
We've reached 100 followers everyone! Thank you so much for your support! This has been such a journey and never in a million years would I have expected people to like and enjoy my stories as much as I do, seriously, it means so much to me! Thank you all once again for your support, it's been amazing and has made me so happy to read all of your asks
I would also like to apologize for not posting as much recently. My brain has been a little fried from writing, but I'm slowly but surely working on the drafts! Sorry for the people who sent asks and are waiting!! Here's to hoping this event will be a little bit more of a break and motivate me again!
ANYWAAAAAYS!! For the poll, Mine doodles won! I'll be taking 50 requests for Mine doodles! I've also decided to add some flat colors! As mentioned in the poll post, in the beginning you may only request one drawing that way anyone who wants to request gets a chance, after requests start dwindling/ a certain time period ends(still deciding, maybe a week or two!) you'll be able to request more, all a ask is that you don't spam please! No need to worry if you don't get to ask a request, either because you weren't here the first time, or time ran out or all the slots filled up, this event will be repeated eventually and you can ask then!
I do have a few more things you can request/rules and what you can't! Please read carefully and if you have any questions let me know :3
CAN
Request multiple Mine characters in one piece
Request your oc/s with a Mine character or multiple!
If there's a specific pose and/or outfit you want me to draw the Mine cast in, please send in some references, thank you!
I ask that you send requests in my askbox, you can turn on anon ofc!
Also please be kind of specific about what you want. like if you want to suggest maybe like Yani and Jun, like what are they doing, is there any sort of place you had in mind for where they are? Any kind of outfits you want to put them in? If you just want a drawing of one of the characters, you can just say (name) plain and I'll try to come up with something! I'll also assume that an ask with a Mine character and you oc is romantic unless stated otherwise, so please be as specific as you can, even if you think I may not need it or it should be obvious, I need things stated to me clearly :3
CANNOT
Request nsfw(I'll probably have that event on twitter at some point!)
honestly, anything that goes against my rules so like no proship or bigotry or anything else gross like incest(Please dni with my stuff if you're into any of that stuff)
No requesting other people's yandere's(You can suggest your yandere oc with mine though if you want to, just not any solo drawings of a yandere not in Mine.) Also if you're requesting your own yandere, I ask that you keep anon off for that ask, just so I can make sure it actually is your yandere, thank you! Also if you don't want your account to me linked with mine, then you can send me a message of your ask and I'll send the ask to myself :3
Also I'd prefer to not draw any solos of your ocs(Once again, totally fine if you want me to draw them with the Mine cast :3)
Please don't request shading or clean lineart, it tuckers me out quickly and makes me lose motivation, if I did that, this event would never finish LMAO
Please don't rush me either, I have a life outside of Tumblr and Mine. I may also not like how the drawing is turning out(I'm sorta a perfectionist when it comes to my own art) and I may also lose motivation or just may not feel like drawing(Kind of like what's happening with writing rn)
Honestly, for my don'ts I don't think I have to worry, everyone who has followed me has been really kind and respectful but I felt the need to clarify things and say things because of some of the stuff I've seen on social media. Anyways, HAPPY 100 FOLLOWER MILESTONE EVENT!! I appreciate each and every one of you so much more then you could ever know, I wish I could express my joy and gratitude better! MWAH MWAH <333333
With that, let the event BEGIN!!

Geo-flower on a plate
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The first one is just me copy pasting my design on a picture of a plate and how I thought it should look like. The second one is how it actually turned out through Shutterfly, and they didn't inform me that it would be a plastic plate, which was a real disappointment. As well as the color shift to shades of violet. It's not supposed to be violet anything, only blue, white and gold. I wish I could make the gold dots shinny, but I don't know how to do that on a flat design.
This one is one of my best designs. People sometimes think they look like Mandellas I can see why they might think that, but mine aren't as fancy as those. They are independently designed without any outside influences. I just feel my way along. Takes a surprising amount of mental energy to do this. I was both attracted by the process and drained by it. I could draw a cat in the tiniest details and be less worn out than a session drawing one of my abstracts. I don't know why.
The abstracts "talk" to me. More than half of them aren't even planned. They just start out as a random doodle, a trick of the eye sees a shape and I go from there. It's all loose and fluid and it's as if the shapes I'm creating are telling me how they need to be.
This was especially true of Celestial Wind Whorl:
Tumblr media
This is the digital version, but the original version was a freehand drawing I colored with black sharpie marker. I stared in the center and worked my way out. Each layer telling me what needed to be next.
My very first abstract was my Wing Design:
Tumblr media
Born of a frustrated doodle in my anatomy textbook, because I really wanted to draw something, and I'd been putting it off in favor of being good and concentrating on my studies. I had mistakenly thought I could be a medical assistant. More than once actually. And I thought I could be a phlebotomist too. Managed to be a CNA for a short time, but that didn't work out either.
Took me a long time to figure out what the middle of the design should look like, but eventually I managed it. The grey parts are actually supposed to be metalic silver, but I don't know how to do that in a purely flat design. Also this digital redraw's blue lines are a little too dark. But I let it go rather than draw this over again.
Honestly, abstracts aren't even my favorite art form. Never have been. Just for a while I was drawn to creating them and eventually outgrew it again.
The last abstract I've ever created was Solar Flower:
Tumblr media
I haven't created another abstract since. This one happens to be one my most complex. Shapes within shapes. Though I do realize it's hard to see here.
Does anyone know why it's more draining to draw an abstract than to...say for example, draw a hyper realistic cat? I can't figure it out. One would think that it would be the opposite, especially since most of my designs are fairly simple. It's like my brain is burning more calories in such a way that I actually notice, unlike when I'm drawing something like an animal or a scene, or even just a still life. I eventually get tired, but the same way as drawing an abstract design.

Week 1 Evaluation of working on Sacred Liminality the comic
This week I overwhelmed myself.
First it started off with excitement!
That snowballed into anxiety.
I let myself get ahead of myself.
I have a lot to learn when it comes to using a digital canvas as a medium. There's even more to learn when it comes to creating comics.
I attempted my first colored piece via cell shading. It's so cool, y'all. But I'm soooooooooooooooooooooo bad at it.
I forgot I needed to use different layers and ended up messing up the piece.
I am still proud of it. It's more than I've ever done! And I definitely learned that I *need* to remember layers are a thing.
I also have so much to remember when it comes to social media.
I have a software I'm using to help me try to keep all of my organization in order... but even so, I'm still having a hell of a time.
Part of this is due to my failing to acknowledge that I require time to set all of this up.
I got plenty done. Two character sketches, one kinda rendered, and a comic strip with 5 panels. Plus, add on setting up and editing multiple different social media platforms to look kinda similar. (Koji, Tumblr, Twitter, Reddit, Imgur, and ComicFury). I even attempted to set up a website. By then, I was way to overwhelmed to get past setting up a basic domain name.
What I've learned is I need to scale back, and I think I'm going to push back the release date. I can put out bad art. That's fine with me. Actually that's one of my goals. Put out bad art. Just put out, honestly. Haha (I'm a sex novel character *wink wink*).
As I revaluate, I think I want to set it up so I have a month to get pages started and inked. This will give me time to also actually practice and learn how to cell shade properly. I also want to do a bit more re-working on the comic page I have. I may post it with this just as a reference for myself of where I started.
I also want time to work on other pieces so I can give my brain a break from working on the comic page. I want to be able to look at it with some freshness before posting. This distance will - hopefully - allow me to critique my art, make changes, and ultimately make it better in the end.
Other things that came up - I'm an anxious bean. I'm horribly scared of what other will think of my work. Like on one hand, I want important people I look up to see it and be like 'Hey, you're a badass,' but I don't want to put out my art because jeezus christ some asshole is gonna say something mean and I'm going to be a bawling sack of tears. (And my run on sentences are strong with this one).
Then there's the lingering issue of feeling like a failure because I am not keeping to my initial time tables I set for myself. Even now I want to cry because it's like 'Fuck, I use to be able to do this.'
Mind you, for reference since many of you know nothing about my life, I am currently thirty. I haven't produced art at a regular rate since high school back in 2008-2011. Because of life, I let my art go. My art is kinda like a time capsule in that way. It still reflects the knowledge my brain and body has of drawing and coloring of a high school student.
While that doesn't bother me because art is just something I can get better at, it does suck when I remember creating as if it was breathing. I would walk into a class, sit down, and doodle or sketch or continue on a project. And it wasn't like I didn't have worries back then. I just could push them to the side. Art would take over, and I'd create.
Now I have to shovel through more of my brain shit before I can start. the process is a bit more stiff. I have to work at doing art... and I know that will change as I progress... but damn man, I'm shaming myself for not having the skills and progress of my 17 year old self.
I've been through worst. This won't stop me of course. I am just in the midst of finding that internal kindness that will help me.
Journaling has always helped. That is part of why I built it into my process. First views and ya know interacting with a creator... All that marketing jazz. But also, like, I kind hope it humanizes me. Maybe someone else will see it and say they've experienced similar. It's always nice to not feel alone.
Creating can be lonely, especially people just starting out on their own. I know I feel alone sometimes. Thankfully, I am strong enough to lean on myself. Haha
I don't really have any special way of ending this other than simple promo stoofs.
Promo Stoofs Ahead
Hey, I'm writing/drawing/promoting a comic.  This will be my personal little experiment using my newest deck of cards. Being a bit high, I was illuminated with such a fantastical idea which I am now bestowing (or cursing) upon the internet. I have no idea at the time of writing this what the plot will be, who will be the main characters, nor what words shall be spoken. Accompanying each tarot inspired panel shall also be optional written pieces connecting each panel via delicately chosen (or incredibly rushed) words for thine eyes to feast upon. Come along and enjoy the chaos as we both discover the next panel together.
As of now the comic won't be dropping until Dec 21st, 2022 or in pagan terms - Yule! I'm hoping to gift - possibly curse - the world with my art (and myself with a well created comic). Anything I release before then will be of course promotional in nature.
(Wheel of the year reference below for anyone new to pagan holidays. Stevie Storck Artist.)
Tumblr media
I do have other social media. Check my link tree out as I also will be posting on YouTube concerning connecting spirituality and art.

I really do appreciate you stopping by!
Have a lovely day.
Keep creatin'!

1, 6, 8, 13, 19?
how i would describe my style -
inconsistent HDHGFKDJHG
no, really though, i have so many different art styles at this point! i'm pretty bad at picking just one and sticking with it. i have a handful of ones i default to when i intend to draw something in "my" style, but i have several that fall in between semi-realistic and cartoony, depending entirely on what vibe i'm going for. if anything, i'd say i tend to fall in the area of "you can probably tell i can't decide between anime styles, western cartoony styles, and realistic". most of my art is like, semi-stylized but i also can't resist working on the anatomy if i let myself spend very long on a doodle, so when i actually do want to go for more stylized art, i have to really swallow down the urge and allow myself to draw spaghetti legs without defined knees or whatever it is i'm hung up on in whatever area i'm 400% zoomed in on
6. warm or cold colors -
aaahh that depends entirely on the piece though! i'm gonna say warm, because that's where my brain is leaning tonight, but my preference varies a LOT.
8. most and least fun parts of my process -
the most fun is probably cleaning up my sketch and getting it to look the way i want it! i try very hard to avoid killing the aspects that make the sketch look good, so a good amount of my drawings are secretly just sketches that i keep chipping at until they work as lineart.
the least fun is... usually towards the end, when everything is coming together enough that i start zooming out and spotting all the areas that look totally off and make me want to redo the whole thing DHGKJSDHG
13. how long do i usually take on a piece -
my pieces depend a lot! if i'm doing a thing with multiple characters, full (or near full) bodies, 70 coloring and shading layers etc, i can easily spend like 3-5 hours or more on it. my simpler doodles or linearts with minimal coloring/shading tend to be anywhere in the 10-45 minute range. i've been informed i'm a very fast doodler so a lot of my simpler stuff is churned out in like, 5-20 minute chunks! though i'm spending longer on pretty much all the ygotober pieces this month.
19. how often do i draw -
depends how busy i am! i try to at least doodle a little bit every week, but i have periods where i draw for hours a day and periods where i'm so busy with other crafts or projects that i have to sit myself down with pen and paper for an hour just to make sure my hands don't forget how to draw things. on average, i probably draw every other day or so.

Hey! I'm the one who asked the poorly worded art process question. I'm here to give it another try by being more specific. The problem is . . . that's hard. Because that was about a specific as I can get, since I kind of want to know everything about how your art works.
Big things, like how you come up with ideas, or how you design characters. But small things, too, like what tools you use for drawing, how you balance between traditional and digital art, and how you decide what color to use for your unique and beautiful line art.
I want to be more specific so you can answer, but the question in my head is too vague and broad for me to be specific about it. So . . . here are some subquestions of my question, I guess! Maybe that helps?
Sorry this is so weird, and thank you, your art is amazing
first of all, thank you so much <3
and yes, this is far more answerable! i hope i can satiate some of your hunger for insight without writing a whole book.
HOW DO I COME UP WITH IDEAS?
this is obviously going to be very different for everyone. i very rarely have to dig for ideas or sit down and brainstorm, unless of course i am trying to achieve something very specific, like fulfill art contest criteria or working on a commission. my brain is very visually wired, so a lot of my ideas literally just pop up in my head (i know of several artists with aphantasia - some people don't have any visuals in their head at all and I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THAT'S LIKE AND I AM IN AWE OF THESE ARTISTS), sometimes i see a character or character design and im like HNNNG i need to draw them, or i just... have a concept i really want to Exist and i'm going to figure out how.
my biggest problem is that often, when i get an idea i want to DRAW IT, NOW NOW NOWNOWNOW, and that's just Not Feasible. sometimes because i'm Literally In Bed, sometimes because i have too many things i need to do or draw first... but i need to clear up space in my head, because my Urge To Draw will be like, beeping and whirring until i satisfy it... so i write it down on my TO DRAW-list! it's a real list that exists on my phone and i have to use it frequently. if i keep scrolling down i start finding weird notes that i have NO idea are supposed to mean anymore, but that's fine. i can't satisfy every Art Urge. sometimes i need to let them pass.
Tumblr media
HOW DO I DESIGN CHARACTERS?
this one might vary a bit, but it can often be boiled down to "i sketch around until i figure something that Works." many of my characters, especially my older characters, became characters by accident when i kept drawing them over and over and i was like Ah I Like Drawing You... You Exist Now. that's how sparrow spellcaster happened, at the very least. this could happen because i had school and i would focus in school by doodling/sketching while listening to class. since i no longer go to school, pretty much all of my new characters are far more intentional. Timian and Vinta specifically exist as a result of a "favourite character fusion" challenge, and a lot of iphimery characters started with a Purpose rather than just harnessing the vibe of something i drew multiple times without thinking.
it helps to write down elements or tropes i want to include, like "sturdy-looking" or "VILLAIN OF EVIL SCARY MAGICS but it's a little girl and the dark magic is bright lightning and not shadows" or something. it can vary from a tiny visual detail to their role in the story. whatever i want to Achieve. my Intent. because my brain works so visually, i just really need to sketch somethign repeatedly until i nail it and can be like Yes That's It.
sketchbooks look a little messy but that’s what they’re for.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
WHAT TOOLS DO I USE
for digital art, i’m currently using an ipad pro and procreate. i use a lot of the brushes that came installed, like Mercury is my primary lineart brush, and Moorilla is my primary sketching brush, but i also buy a lot of custom brushes on the hunt for More Delicious Textures (DAUB has a lot of good ones, especially if you want some that imitate traditional art). i have also used Huion and XP-pen tablets and generally recommend them, as well as clip studio paint as an art program (i love it very much and if it wasn’t subscription-based on ipad i would still be using it).
for traditional art, mostly just whatever sketchbook i have + my trusty mechanical pencil. i mean i have two: one with softer lead (it comes out darker) and 0,7 mm thickness, and one that’s 0,5 and harder lead for more light sketching, or if i’m going to line it with ink.
i also have a trusty pentel brush pen that i love DEARLY and feel bad for not having used in a while for reasons i will get to.
when i work on calendar pieces traditionally, i like to draw lines with ink - i use a dip pen with exchangeable nibs - and then color with watercolors. i have several sets because they’re all slightly different and i want the Range.
i sometimes travel with a little sketchbook in my bag and an assortment of pens, so that i can sketch Anytime, Anywhere. i think doodling with a pen can be very useful because you gotta become comfortable with the mistakes and imperfections and keep going anyway. if i doodle at work that’s the tools i have -  regular ball pens and a bunch of paper lying around.
HOW DO I BALANCE BETWEEN DIGITAL AND TRADITIONAL ART?
currently, i... don’t, really. it was easier when i had school, and i would just doodle freely and then maybe use some of my sketches as thumbnails or concept ideas. it’s harder now that i need to intentionally sit down with my sketchbook, and tbh... the ipad works very well for sketching. it’s so CONVENIENT and i have WORK all the time and my time to create art has become much more limited than it was. i miss going to my weirdo art high school where we would try out a whole bunch of different tools and methods. sure, yes, i had to paint with Acrylics My Beloathed, but getting to play around in different mediums is VERY valuable.
i genuinely want to be able to make more time and space for non-digital art again, but i just don’t have the ability to right now. it’s also different now that i’ve moved away from my parent’s place - i used to have an enormous desk and my mother has a large collection of art tools and there was a lot more storage space for whatever i created. digital art is very convenient and very accessible. ah well!
HOW DO I DECIDE ON THE COLOR FOR MY LINEART?
i usually line in black or a very dark color, and when i’m done coloring + shading i might play around with the colors and see what works. if you lock the layer you can just throw all the spaghetti at the wall you want. i decide on whatever fits the piece. i tend to be pretty fast and loose about it too, sometimes you can probably spot parts of my lineart that have slightly mismatchy color, but it’s like... done is better than perfect! i don’t have the energy to overlook every single pixel of my piece or else i would drive myself utterly mad.
HOPE THIS ANSWERS ANYTHING AT ALL!! THANKS FOR ASKING!!!

heyo shrimpy!! sorry for the late response,, i got busy with exams lolol first, how are you today? :D Is anything good happening to you? enjoy your vacation btw, i hope you have a lot of fun! ^^ second, hmm finding your artstyle? that sounds even more challenging than improving for me, ngl hh- I don't know why but reading your answer made me think of a chibi dazai eating a nice burger... sounds cute,, I'm sure your drawing turned out amazing :D it's always a bliss noticing your art getting better, makes me want to draw more ^^ somehow, you drawing in a cuter art style makes you more adorable,, lovely doodles filling the empty pages,,,,
imagine dazai catching you doodling him with cute little hearts around the page,, and as his lips curved upwards a mild shade of pink dusts his cheeks, admiring you a little bit more before walking towards you quietly, wrapping his arms around your neck from behind. your frame stilled against his loving embrace, the pencil in your hand dropping on the concrete desk, your lover's lips close to your ears... his warm breath hit the back of your ear, kissing it in the process.
"I didn't know you drew me so much, gioia mia~¹" his sweet, teasing voice gently made its way into your eardrum, with you shivering afterward. his soft, umber locks brushed against your tender skin, the warm temperature his body radiated comforting you. your cheeks were probably red by now, and you were certain he already noticed. after all, when does he not?
clearing your throat, you comfortably positioned yourself, closing your eyelids slowly before speaking.
"u-uh, yeah. I, uhm-"
"and they're so well done, my darling! I assumed you were an artist since you always brought a notebook and pencil with you, even in our workplace, but I didn't expect you to draw me... I am flattered, my belladonna~ your artstyle mirrors the way you are... cute!~" your brain couldn't take in his words, and yours were stuck in your throat. all that was left was a stuttering mess whilst you shakingly turned around, with your lover chuckling at your adorable reaction.
dazai could now definitely see how your cheeks gained color, the redness painting them well. noticing your alerted gaze and trembling, he raised his hand to hold your warm cheek, caressing it with his thumb. although your quivering didn't cease, he took a note of how your eyes widened for a second before calming again. his smile broadened as you leaned into his touch, your timid orbs avoiding his loving ones. unfortunately for you, he had other ideas in mind.
and so, he leaned closer.
your eyes snapped back at him, his nose almost touching yours. a small gasp escaped you as you attempted to form a sentence, but failed to do so. the man in front of you only beamed at your reaction, his heart melting at how adorable and lovely you were. he was truly fortunate to have a loving, caring, understanding partner such as you.
he really loved you and cherished you with all of his soul.
"osamu! y-you're-" and before you could say anything else, the brunette gave you one last loving look before closing his eyes...
and placed his lips against yours.
your eyes bulged out from your sockets as a small shriek left your throat, but was immediately muted by your beloved's kiss. your flustered state couldn't comprehend what was happening, but the warmth of your chest was so overwhelming, you couldn't help but hastily press your lips back against his, tightly closing your eyelids to enjoy the moment more...
smirking, dazai stopped for a brief moment while you whined in protest, but he quickly soothed you while shifting his hands to grip your chair, gently twisting it around. you opened your eyes again to understand what he was doing... and regretted it as soon as you saw his smug look, while he caged you between him and your chair. you glanced around stunned, the dulcet shade of rosé overlapping your already flustered profile. shakingly, you looked up and met his calmer and haughty orbs again, making you gulp as your heart rammed in your chest.
his smooth, defined face was all you could see, and if it wasn't for your panicking mind, you were sure you could observe him for hours. you felt so open under his narrow, shadowy, russet orbs as if you were an interesting book he was very invested in. that fierce, intense way he observed you with, only made you shyer, and you shrank on your chair... which wasn't the best move, you thought, since he cornered you more than before, and all you could do was watch him from below, too red to do or say anything.
his low chuckle reverberated through the room, and a small drop of sweat rushed down your embarrassed face as he towered over you, devouring all of your sweet, lovable expressions. his smirk widened as your pupils shrank, bending down to your level once more. he tremendously wanted to pick you up and place you on the king-sized bed, while you desperately clung onto him and whispered his name, trying to evade his all-seeing gaze... but held himself back to tease you more.
after all, you looked so delicious right now...
"o-osamu..." your needy, wobbly voice brought him back from his little daydream, shaking off any other thoughts he had in mind... all that mattered now was you. humming, he got closer to you, both of your faces millimeters away. if he was trying to kill you, he was doing a great job at it. the smile never left his mouth, and you could feel the confidence seeping through him... his breath hit your lips as he exhaled making you freeze on the spot.
"hmmm? what is it, my dear? do you perhaps need something?" he asked, already knowing what you wanted and needed. but hearing you spell it out for him... it was a bliss.
you nervously exhaled, feeling the warmth in your cheeks rise as if you weren't blushing enough. not brave at all to face him head-on, you fiddled with the hem of your shirt, looking down as you did so. dazai screamed internally at the cuteness with all the courage you had, you shyly told him...
"p-please osamu, i-i need you..." and that was all he needed. chuckling, he stared at you with a wolfish grin, pleased to hear those words coming out of your lips.
"then... let me take care of you, amore mio~²"
your sketchbook was long forgotten that night, but dazai did make you "sing" some sweet songs for him...
