How fascinating love it would be, in which you fear your beloved.
What a fascinating love it would be if you feared your beloved. Subhan'Allah! The real love. For the sake of Allah, in Divine love, i.e., Allah's Love, The love of Allāh ﷻ also includes the love of our prophet Muhammadﷺ, and all the prophets (عَلَيْهِ ٱلصَّلَاةُ وَٱلسَّلَامُ), and the Khulafa-e-Rashideen◌ؓ, Azwaj-e-Mutahirat◌ؓ, Ummahat-ul-Momineen◌ؓ, Ahl al-Bayt-e-Athaar◌ؓ, Shuhuda-e-Karbala◌ؓ, Ashra-Mubashra◌ؓ, Baqiya-tu-Sahaba Ikram (رَضِيَ ٱللَّٰهُ عَنْهُ), Hazrat e Tab'in Tabe Tab'in, Shuhuda-e-Islam, Mufassireen, Muhadiseen ؒ , Awliya-Ikram ؒ Ajma'in (رضوان الله أجمعين) and our parents, brothers, sisters, family, relatives, neighbours, friends, the entire Ummah and all the living beings. Subhan'Allah!
"And those who truly believe, love Allah intensely."[Al-Baqarah | 2:165] Subhan'Allah! In which you also love the other lovers of your beloved. Not like any other metaphorical love, i.e., love for Allah ﷻ's creation. In which you detest other lovers of your beloved. Well, how can one's heart not love Allah, our Lord, the Almighty, the most compassionate and merciful, to whom belong the most beautiful names? To whom you can't thank enough, even if you spend your whole life in prostration. That heﷻis not in need of our worship, yet he showers us all with his abundant blessings. Allahu-Akbar! Heﷻ is "al-Shakur", rewarding our few deeds with limitless happiness, even though he's the one who gifted us the ability to carry out those very deeds. In fact,
it is said that fear denotes abstaining not only from all that is forbidden but also from those deeds from which it is advisable to refrain. According to a scholar, fear forces a traveller on the spiritual path to hold back and refrain from displeasing Allah. Just like when you love someone, you are afraid of making them upset with you or refrain from doing anything that will displease them. Also, just like lovers who are unable to meet, they send letters, and the lover reads them over and over. Qur'an-e-Kareem is also like a love letter from Allāh ﷻ. From the beloved to you. so that we read it over and over again. Subhan'Allah! It implants fear in our hearts concerning our end. The Qur'an warns us to be steadfast in our belief and practice of Islam. May Allahﷻ guide us all. Many verses of the Qur'an cause hearts to tremble with fear and are like threads with which to knit the lace of life. "And whoever does an atom’s weight of evil will see it."[Al-Zilzal | 99:8]
and Say: "Shall We tell you who will be the greatest losers by their works? Those whose efforts have been wasted in the life of the world while they thought they were doing good. " [Al-Kahf | 18:103-4] Allahu Akbar! May Allah ﷻ grant us all forgiveness and protection against Shaytan and his deceptions. And may he ﷻ make it easy for us to fight against our Nafs and to oppose our desires and sins. Allahumma Ameen! How happy and prosperous are those who knit the laces of their lives with these threads? With such warnings, the Qur'an orients us toward the Hereafter and encourages us to consider it more important than anything else. In his luminous speech, Allah the Almighty uses fear as a whip to force us into His presence and honour us with His company. Like a mother's reproofs to her child that draws him or her to her warm, affectionate arms, this whip attracts the believer toward the depths of Divine Mercy and enriches him or her with Allāh ﷻ's blessings and bounties that He compels humanity to deserve and receive out of His Mercy and Graciousness. Subhan'Allah! How can one's heart not melt out in the love of their lord? Indeed, One whose heart is full of fear and awe of the Almighty cannot be afraid of others and is therefore freed from all useless and suffocating fear. In His luminous, hope-giving speech, the Almighty Allāh ﷻ tells people not to fear anything or anyone other than Him: "Have no fear of them. Fear Me, if you are true believers." [Aal-Imran | 3:175] "They arise from [their] beds; they supplicate their Lord in fear and aspiration, and from what we have provided them, they spend." [As-Sajda | 32:16]. Heﷻ praises those who design their lives according to their fear of God use their willpower carefully and strive to avoid sins. Such sensitive and careful souls fly in the heavens with the Almighty's approval and pleasure. Also, those holding Him in reverence drink the sweet, enlivening water of nearness, which comes from taking refuge in Him. One who fears God sometimes sighs and sometimes weeps, especially when alone, in an attempt to extinguish the pain of being separate from Him as well as the fire of Hell, which is the greatest distance between him and Allāh ﷻ. Allahu Akbar! Why do we not fear him? Is our love for Allah just words and no action? May Allahﷻ protect us! And shedding tears is the most effective way of putting out the fires of Hell. It doesn’t matter if you don’t know how to put it in words. Cry your heart out to Allāhﷻ, because the thing is, even if you don’t understand it yourself, Allah does. Indeed, "whether you conceal what is in your hearts or reveal it, Allah will know it. He knows what is in the heavens and what is on the earth. Allah is powerful over everything." [ Aal-Imran | 3:29] Indeed, imagine a single teardrop that occurs whilst you’re repenting. Just one single teardrop, that rolled from your eyes down to your cheeks whilst you begged Allāh for forgiveness for your sins. Imagine that this one drop of water, was enough for Allāh ﷻ to extinguish all of the fire and torment that was awaiting you for the sins that you committed. We just have to repent with sincerity. Surely, Allah ﷻ loves to forgive. You know, every tear that falls from your eyes in repentance to Him makes your heart feel lighter, happier.Istighfaar can do that. It raises you in rank even more than when you first fell. And his mercy is greater and ever nearer to the one who comes to him with a repentant heart. So repent and allow your heart to blossom. Subhan'Allah! Lately, I read a quote: "I know of no better love story than that of a forgiving Rabb and a repentant slave." Also, you don't have to tell anyone that I cried in the love of Allāh ﷻ or I please him in alone or anything. When you love someone, you hide it. I know, love can't stay hidden for long. People around you get to know about it through your actions. But just don't express it to others with your own tongue. Yk!
However, don’t allow your emotions to overwhelm you into falling into the traps of Shaytaan. causing you to drift away from your deen, your beloved. Keep your head up and cope in beneficial ways. Sit with the Quran and recite or listen to recitations, get up and pray and make your sujood longer than usual. Find comfort in Ibaadah and know that Allāh ﷻ knows and Allāh ﷻ does not burden a soul more than it can bear. Trials and afflictions are to improve us and make us stronger. Think back on the difficult times in the past? Did you not come out stronger and wiser? Patience is key. Hold onto the rope of Allah with patience and aim for his mercy and love, which eventually leads you to Paradise. In-Sha-Allah! "Fa Inni Qareeb": 'I am near. I respond to the call' - Allāh ﷻ guarantees that he will respond to the one who calls. Subhan'Allah! How foolish of us to think that he won't respond to our supplications. "Na'auzubillah!" (We seek refuge in Allah.) Also, if someone doesn't have anyone to speak to, pour your heart out in front of your lord, may it be in Tahajjud. Subhan'Allah! Talk to Allāh ﷻ, your beloved. He is the "Al-Wali" (the Protective Friend) of those who believe. Heﷻ surely will turn the darkness of your life into light. May Allāh ﷻ grant us all patience, self-control, and strength. May Allahﷻ honour us and not humiliate us in this world and especially in the hereafter. May Allahﷻ cure all of our illnesses, our distresses, our pains and grant us the best of healing. May Allah ﷻ replace our anxieties, our worries, our fears, our depression and our problems with peace, contentment and barakah! "Allahumma inni as'aluka hubbaka, wa hubba man yuhibbuka, wal-'amalalladhi yuballighuni hubbaka." (O Allah! I ask for your love, the love of those who love you, and deeds that will cause me to attain your love.
Ameen allahumma ameen!✨

How well and how much do we fulfil the rights and responsibilities with our family members and other people?
In this dunya, it’s easy to take advantage of others, to take people’s rights, to steal, to slander someone, to abuse someone’s trust, and then getting away scot-free. For the oppressed, justice and victory are rarely on their side in this dunya.
But in the akhirah, every single matter will return to its rightful place. Allah says:
🌸 ❛Then, when the Trumpet is blown [on the Day of Judgement], there will be no kinship among them that Day, nor will they ask of one another.❜ 【Surah al-Mu’minun 23:101】
Imam Ibn Kathir rahimahullah wrote that this aayah means no relative will ask about the welfare of another relative, even if he sees his friend carrying a heavy burden, even if he was the most beloved to him. On the Day of Judgment, we will be so distressed and distraught with our own welfare, that we do not have the capacity to care about anyone else's — even if that person was the most dearest to us in the dunya. In another aayah, Allah says:
🌸 ❛That Day a man shall flee from his brother. And from his mother and his father. And from his wife and his children.❜ 【Surah ‘Abasa 80:34-36】
In regard to this aayah, Ibn Mas’ud radi Allahu ‘anhu said: ❛On the Day of Resurrection, Allah will gather the first and the last [of jinn and mankind], then a voice will call out:
🌿 “Whoever is owed something by another, let him come forth and take it.”
And a man will rejoice if he is owed something, or had been mistreated by his father, or child, or wife — even if it is little.❜ 【Tafseer Ibn Kathir】
On the Day of Judgement where everyone is desperate to save their own selves, the oppressed will claim for every single injustice, every single mistreatment, every little fault and hurt that the oppressors inflicted upon them in the dunya — even if the ones who inflicted those pain were some of the most beloved people in their lives. So what more if the oppressors were merely acquaintances, strangers on the social media, or the most haughtiest tyrants the world has ever known?
So please be careful on how we treat others. Be vigilant on how we interact in reality, and how we behave online. What we unlawfully take from someone in this dunya is not worth a single khayr in the akhirah.
May Allah protect us from being oppressed, and from oppressing others. May Allah have rahmah on our ummah.
Your sister in Deen, Aida Msr ©

You’re Gentle and Kind and you have put beauty in generosity, so when I lose my patience and I’m pushed to the edge of my kindness, pull me back and pour buckets of softness in my heart so it can pump with ease and let others breathe the breeze… YA Perfectly Wise! You’re closer to me than my jugular vein, but if I pull back and my heart disconnects, pump the blood through my veins so I can feel the pain – the pain of being far away from You and the pain of being so numb. The pain of apathy and the pain of a cold heart. YA Responder to Prayer ! You respond whenever a servant calls upon You so please accept…accept…accept my prayer! Ya Loving One! I ask You for Your love and the love of those who love You, and for the action that will cause me to attain Your love so make Your love more beloved to me than myself and my beloved. Ya Forgiving! Rinse my soul of sins that hide beneath the skin – the sins that no one knows of, except You…Separate the layers around my bones and wash my heart from the evil that makes it dark.

Allah calls Himself Ar-Ra’oof—The Kind, The Compassionate — on ten occasions in the Quran. He is the One who bestows mercy with the utmost tenderness. Ar-Ra’oof has beautiful pity on us, with which He gently warns us, withholds from us, and instructs us to all that is good!
The One Who is Most Kind, the Tenderly Merciful
Ra’oof comes from the root raa-hamza-faa, which points to three main meanings. The first main meaning is to be gentle, kind, and forgiving and the second is to be merciful and compassionate. The third main meaning is to show pity and tenderness.
This root appears 13 times in the Quran in two derived forms. Examples of these forms are rafatun (pity for them) and rafatan (compassion).
The term Ra’ûf means tender affection, the highest mercy and compassion, the upper limit of ar-Rahîm. The meaning is similar to ar-Rahîm, but focuses on the utmost tenderness, kindness and affection, which accompanies the outpouring of mercy and compassion.
Linguistically, ra’fa refers to the tenderness, kindness, and affection with which Allah ‘azza wa jall bestows mercy on us. Al-Ghazali mentioned that Ar-Ra’oof has pity, and that pity is the intensification of mercy. It has the same meaning as raheem though in a more intense form. Ar-Ra’oof is the One who bestows pity and mercy on us in many different forms, including warnings and withholding, for us to be guided to success in this world and the next!
Ar-Ra’oof Himself says:And never would Allah have caused you to lose your faith. Indeed Allah is, to the people, Kind and Merciful [Quran, 2:143] And of the people is he who sells himself, seeking means to the approval of Allah. And Allah is kind to [His] servants [Quran, 2:207] Indeed, He was to them Kind and Merciful [Quran, 9:117]
The infinite kindness of Allah
Of the ten times, Allah’s Name Ar-Ra’oof is mentioned eight times with His name Ar-Raheem (The Bestower of Mercy) in the Quran. How can we understand the concept of ra’fa and the concept of rahma (mercy)? After a calamity hits us, Ar-Raheem has mercy on us. Ra’fa refers to Allah ‘azza wa jall taking care of us and warning us so that we can protect ourselves from His own punishment.
Ar-Ra’oof says: On the Day when every person will be confronted with all the good he has done, and all the evil he has done, he will wish that there were a great distance between him and his evil. And Allah warns you against Himself (His punishment) and Allah is full of kindness to (His) slaves [Quran, 3:30] How merciful is this? Ar-Ra’oof warns us how to avoid His punishment out of pure kindness and affection, by sending us prophets and messengers for advice, sending us the Quran and guiding our hearts when we turn to Him.
An example was given about ra’fa and rahma; a parent warning their child to dress warm in winter so that they won’t suffer from the cold, is the concept of ra’fa. Whereas if the child gets ill and the parent’s heart that aches for the child and they do everything to find a medicine, that’s merciful (rahma).
How can you live by this name?
1. Reflect on the ra’fa of Allah.
Do you reflect on the mercy of Ar-Ra’oof in guiding you to be a Muslim each day? And indeed, it is difficult except for those whom Allah has guided. And never would Allah have caused you to lose your faith. Indeed Allah is, to the people, Kind and Merciful [Quran, 2:143] What about all the times He warned you through certain signs in your life, like that “feeling” you should not go to a certain place? Reflection is ‘ibaadah.
2. Learn from the mercy of the prophet.
Ar-Ra’oof described the Prophet salallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam as ra’oofun raheem: There has certainly come to you a Messenger from among yourselves. Grievous to him is what you suffer; [he is] concerned over you and to the believers is kind and merciful. [Quran, 9:128] Study the seerah to learn how the prophet salallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam dealt with His companions, family, and even his enemies!
3. Increase your heart in mercy.
Be kind to others and handle people’s feelings with tenderness. Sometimes you are so busy with your own life and your own family and friends that you forget about others. The connection you feel with the Muslim ummah is a mirror for your emaan. Read about the situation of your fellow brothers and sisters around the world and think of ways of how to support them. For example in every witr prayer, make sure you remember the ummah in your dua.
4. Be proactive.
Someone once said: All that time I was waiting for someone to do something about it. Then I realized that someone was me. Ar-Ra’oof has pity on us and He even warns us on how to avoid His punishment. If you see your brother or sister low in emaan or even going astray, feel concerned for them and advise them with kindness and care. Forbidding evil and enjoining good is a duty upon you; how seriously do you take it? You are the best community ever brought forth for mankind (in that) you command the proper and forbid the improper and believe in Allah. [Quran, 3:110] Be inspired by the ra’fa of Allah ‘azza wa jall to help warn and guide others as much as you can!
5. Open your heart to the Quran.
Allah ‘azza wa jall says: It is He who sends down upon His Servant [Muhammad] verses of clear evidence that He may bring you out from darknesses into the light. And indeed, Allah is to you Kind and Merciful. Ask Ar-Ra’oof to make your heart tender for His Reminder, the Quran!
6. Ask Ar-Ra’oof.
Ar-Ra’oof mentions a beautiful supplication in the Quran, using this name: And [there is a share for] those who came after them, saying, Our Lord, forgive us and our brothers who preceded us in faith and put not in our hearts [any] resentment toward those who have believed. Our Lord, indeed You are Kind and Merciful. [Quran, 59:10]
Memorize this beautiful dua’, call upon Allah ‘azza wa jall with it, and teach it to others!
O Allah, Ar-Ra’oof, we know that Your kindness encompasses us. Increase our hearts in mercy and aid us in forbidding evil and enjoining good in ways most pleasing to You. Make us reflect Your ra’fa, open our heart for the Quran and make us of those who follow Your warnings so we can avoid Your Punishment and enter Paradise safely, ameen!

Dear young one,
We are the exact same people. How life separated us but our lineage and our upbringing, the values we were taught the language we comprehend, the tradition we carry is the exact same. My father’s name is your father’s name. Our grandfather is the same. Separately intertwined. Our struggles were not the same, but we struggle to our extent. Life differs from sibling to sibling, let alone a distant cousin. We’re all blessed in different ways, tested in different ways. My parents left to survive. Not knowing if they would. It was written, and for the believers that’s easily understood. If I could, for you I would. I feel as if I owe you a life, a better life. Because I had one. Though I know Allah is Ar-Razaaq. And my parents went from farms, to refugees, to the Middle East, to Italy, to the middle of the “greatest country.” All with nothing, But Allah. The same rab that provided for them, will provide for you.
Dear cousin of mine, perspective. The “greatest country.” Wasn’t what they expected. Depression. Overworked, under compensated. First generation children raised in the worst conditions, sicknesses and diseases common and often left untreated, due to insufficient funds. People don’t know Islam. Cellphones numbed the minds of people. Mental health and stability is at the hands of strangers with a notepad in a lounge chair. Muslims and Black people are hated for being people. Family’s separated. Intoxicants glorified. Women lost modesty. The men are not men. Crime is widespread. Infidelity is common. It’s not a safe place. Our kids, don’t speak our language, don’t understand our culture. The barrier of communication between child and parent created misunderstanding between them. Parents left hopeless and helpless in world they didn’t come prepared for.
So let me tell you how to attain the life you’ve yearned for, of happiness, of wealth. Of freedom. Of security. Of contentment. Here on the farm, the way my parents did on their journey. The way I did in the country I was born and raised in. Happiness was in the duas we made, knowing the All Hearing, was listening to us. We found wealth in the Quran and Sunnah, the guide to our lives & the lives of those who lived before us. The greatest people to ever live on this earth, May Allah’s mercy be upon them. Our freedom, we found when we let go of the love of this dunya. The security, our true security was fear of Allah, alone, without any partners. Secured our faith in every situation, scenario knowing that Allah wants good for us, to protect us and to call upon him alone. Subhannallah. And how we found contentment is knowing what Allah has written for us was meant for us, that our souls would not be tested with more than we can bear. That if Allah had willed we could’ve been worse than what we were tested with. That verily after hardship comes ease. That Allah is with the patient. That we remember a time in our lives when we were worse than we are now. That Allah allows us to make dua so much so that it has the power to change our qadr. That Allah is the most beneficent, the most merciful.
- Sincerely a diaspora
May Allah keep us firm on our deen. May Allah aid our brothers and sisters back home. May we increase in sadaqa and keep our ummah in our duas. May Allah increase us in gratitude. May Allah protect and guide the Muslimeen in the west and forgive us of our shortcomings and have mercy upon us, Ameen.

Assalamualaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu to you and your family. Wishing you a joyous Eid! May Allah ﷻ make this jubilation a blessing for all of us. May Allah ﷻ accept all of our prayers, fasting and good deeds. May Allahﷻ's blessings and mercy be upon every family and home. May Allah ﷻ have mercy upon us and give us all patience, peace and strong faith! May Allahﷻ protect us from the Hellfire and grant us to be inhabitants of the higher stages of Paradise. Allahumma ameen! May Allah ﷻ forgive me and you for our sins & may He ﷻ grant us a never-ending abundance of blessings on this blessed day. However, test after test we've have failed, but his infinite mercy still remains. Allah-hu-akbar! Indeed, we've sinned so much, we've wronged ourselves so much, we've violated our souls by committing sins. Despite that, our sins shall never become greater than the mercy of Ar-Rahman, Ar-Rahim, and for Him to forgive us. Indeed, He ﷻ is The Kind, The Pardoner and The Forgiver - Ar-Ra'uf and Al-‘Afuw. May Allah ﷻ allow us to yearn only for our true home, and may we understand that the only way we will reach our true home is through sincere obedience to Him. May Allāh ﷻ help us all and thus guiding us to help each other. May Allah ﷻ protect our loved ones from any harm. Though, lately it has been quite challenging time for all of us. And many of us have lossed our dear ones. May Allah ﷻ protect our muslim brothers and sisters in Palestine and all over the world. May Allah ﷻ grant our Ummah victory. May Allah ﷻ grant us all forgiveness and ease to all those who rest in their graves and may Allah ﷻ grant his illuminous noor in their graves from amongst the noors of Jannah Al-Firdaus. Allahumma ameen! May Allahﷻ keep us steadfast on our deen. May Allah grant us all Jannat al-Firdaus. May Allah ﷻ make us do all of good actions for pleasing him alone and may he ﷻ be pleased with us always. Ameen ya rabbul alameen!

SUFFERING UMMAH
PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE POST
Very important for our ummah.
By Hadhrat Moulana Abdul Hamid Saheb (Daamat Barakaatuhum)
During a trip to the United Kingdom, I gave a talk in a Masjid in London. In the vicinity of the Masjid, Jews predominantly reside.
In that talk, I mentioned that once, when Haaji Bhai Padia (Rahmatullahi ‘alayh) was travelling by air, a Jewish Rabbi was seated next to him. In conversation, the Jewish Rabbi said to Haaji Bhai Padia (Rahmatullahi ‘alayh): “We are not afraid of the Muslims today, because Allah’s help is not with them, nor with us. Today, everything is about power: The one who has more arms and more ammunition, wins. We have more, and we are more powerful. However, when the Mosques (Masaajid) of the Muslims start filling up for the Fajr prayer as the Masjids get full for the Jumu’ah prayer, we will not be able to fight the Muslims, because Allah’s help will be with them, and we can never overcome the one who is assisted by Allah.”
After this talk, a young man came to me and informed me that he is from India (or Pakistan). He said: “I go home once a year. Each time, on my return, my neighbour, who is Jew, asks me: ‘How many people are attending the Fajr prayer?’ …This is the question posed to me every time. Once, I asked him: ‘Why do you always ask me this same question?’ He said: ‘Today, we have no fear for the Muslims, but when their Masjids get full for the Fajr prayer as they do for Jumu’ah, we will not fight them as Allah’s help will be with them and we cannot fight Allah.”
Abdullah S’aud is a brother from South America, whose homeland is Palestine. He related that he was a little child when his family was exiled to South America. At that time, Ariel Sharon mentioned to the father of Abdullah S’aud: “You will come back; but not today and not tomorrow. You will come back when your Masjids are full for Fajr like how they are for Jumu’ah.”
We clamour and we shout and we cry, for the rise of Islam, yet we do not rise for the Fajr Salaah.
Our hypocrisy becomes evident in the light of the Ahadith. There is no doubt of a person’s Nifaaq (hypocrisy) if he is absent from the Fajr and Isha Salaah, in the Masjid.
Rasulullah (Sallallaahu ‘alayhi wasallam) said: “The most burdensome prayers for the hypocrites are ‘Isha and Fajr, but if they only knew what they contain, they would come even if they had to crawl.”[1]
Rasulullah (Sallallaahu ‘alayhi wasallam) said: “A person who does not go for Salaah after hearing the Azaan is committing a great wrong and is doing an act of Kufr (disbelief) and Nifaaq (hypocrisy).”[2]
Hadhrat Abdullah Ibn Mas’ud (Radhiyallahu ‘anhu) had said: “If you neglect the Sunnah, you will go astray. Verily, I have seen a time when no one stayed away from the congregational prayers except for the hypocrites who were well known for their hypocrisy or a sick man. I remember that a man would be brought leaning on two men and put in the Saff (row) to attain its reward and escape the sins of missing it.”[3]
If the entire Ummah performed Salaah - established Salaah - the entire Ummah would be in the protection of Allah Ta’ala, the One who is Al-Mighty and All-Powerful. No power on the surface of the earth will be able to overcome or defeat a people in the special protection of Allah Ta’ala.
Rasulullah (Sallallaahu ‘alayhi wasallam) said: “Whoever prays the dawn prayer (Fajr), then He is under Allah’s protection. So beware, O son of Aadam, that Allah does not call you to account for being absent from His protection for any reason.”[4]
Boycotting, sanctioning and marching may find a place in bringing attention to injustice and crippling an economy but they do not draw the assistance of Allah Ta’ala. The assistance of Allah Ta’ala comes only with obedience to Allah Ta’ala and with conforming to the Sunnah.
Muslims, today, see some kind of solution in marching and boycotting – but sadly, do not see the solution where it is: In practically implementing the teachings of the Qur’aan and Sunnah.
We will only overcome the forces of Zionism and the enemies of Islam taking the route of obedience to Allah Ta’ala and His Rasul (Sallallaahu ‘alayhi wasallam).
Our condition is that Salaah is neglected; the beautiful Sunnah is disregarded - there is no care and no concern to identify ourselves with Rasulullah (Sallallaahu 'alayhi wasallam), by adopting the Sunnah Libaas (dress/garb), maintaining the beard one fist length and following in his noble footsteps. ...The majority do not want to give up the song and dance, the interest and gambling, the western culture or the Hollywood/Bollywood culture, and all other sins. ...Then how will we invite Allah Ta’ala’s Nusrah[5], in this manner?
Allah Ta'ala has His conditions. These will have to be met first, before we can overcome our enemies.
Allah Ta’ala clearly defines His conditions and His promises:
“Allah has promised, to those among you who believe and perform righteous deeds, that He will, of surety, grant them in the land, inheritance (of power), as He granted it to those before them…
So establish Salaah (Prayer) and give regular Charity (Zakaah); and obey the Messenger that you may receive mercy. ”
[Surah Nur 24 : 55 / 56]
The Sahaba-e-Kiraam (Radhiyallahu ‘anhum) were able to overcome the super powers of their time because they were living Islam.
The keys of Masjid-e-Aqsa were willingly handed over to Hadhrat Umar (Radhiyallahu ‘anhu), the Ameerul Mu’mineen, whose reign as the Khalifa saw the establishment of justice on the face of the earth. This justice was through the implementation of the Qur’aan Sharief and Sunnah and standing firm and resolute on its teachings.
Hadhrat Umar (Radhiyallahu ‘anhu), himself, said: “We are a people whom Allah Ta’ala elevated with Islam.” – i.e. true and sincere submission to Allah Ta’ala.
We talk about Masjid-e-Aqsa and the violation and desecration of Masjid-e-Aqsa by the Israeli Zionist forces. However, the condition of Masjid-e-Aqsa is only a reflection of the condition of the Ummah at large.
Sheikh ‘Ali Abbaasi, the Imam of Masjid-e-Aqsa, had asked Hadhrat Mufti Ebrahim Salejee (Daamat Barakaatuhum), the principal of Madrasah Taleemuddeen, about the sad and distressing condition of Palestine and asked why there is no support from the Muslim countries.
Hadhrat Mufti Saheb (Daamat Barakaatuhum) explained that he had read in the Tafsier of Hadhrat Moulana Ashraf Ali Thanwi (Rahmatullahi ‘alayh) that Allah Ta’ala has different systems for Masjidul Haraam in Makkatul Mukarramah and for Masjidul Aqsa.
Hadhrat Moulana Ashraf Ali Thanwi (Rahmatullahi ‘Alayh) had explained in his Tafsier that Masjidul Haraam is continuously under the protection of Allah Ta’ala. The Kuffaar will not be able to gain control of Baitullah, and the condition of the Muslim Ummah does not affect this protection. This protection has no interruption.
The condition of Masjid-e-Aqsa is centred and based on the condition of the Muslim Ummah.
If the Ummah is obedient to Allah Ta’ala, then Masjid-e-Aqsa would be in their full control. If the Ummah is in the disobedience of Allah Ta’ala, then the Muslim Ummah loses control of Masjid-e-Aqsa and the land of Palestine. Control is handed over to our enemies.
This is what we see today. A great majority of the Muslim Ummah are heedless of the Commandments of Allah Jalla Jalaaluhu; even engaging recklessly in sins.
We raise our voices against the Israeli Zionist forces who desecrate our beloved Masjid-e-Aqsa; we march against the injustice, we wave the Palestinian flag everywhere, and we wear its colours in some way or the other - all in solidarity. ...However, if we are not performing Salaah and if, in our lives, there is disobedience to Allah Ta'ala, then let us understand the very, very sad reality: We are instrumental in the desecration and violation of Masjid-e-Aqsa and the oppression of the Palestinian people. Then our role is not constructive; rather it is destructive - because we are a contributing factor to the Israelis having control of Masjid-e-Aqsa.
Imam Maalik (Rahmatullahi 'alayh) had said so aptly, in his time: "The last generations of the Ummah can only be reformed by that which reformed its first generations. What was not part of the religion then, cannot become part of the religion now."
The first step is establishing Salaah in our lives and working towards bringing the whole of Islam into our lives, practically. If we really want to solve our problems, this is the only way.
May Allah Ta’ala forgive us, have mercy upon us, guide us, and grant us the understanding and the Taufeeq of becoming practical on Deen.

السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
My dear children,
We have now entered the most blessed month of the lunar calendar.
This month is called Ramadhaan and it's the 9th Hijri month.
"Ramadhaan" is an Arabic word which means:
Something that has been intensely heated up. It's something that's so hot, that it can burn things.
Do you know why this name was given to the month of "Ramadhaan"?
It is because this is a month that can burn away people's sins, and it is also a month in which we can be saved from the burning hot fire of Jahannam.
Allah gave us this month of Ramadhaan and made fasting in it compulsory. Allah wants you to appreciate what you have by feeling the hunger of those who don't have anything to eat. He wants you to ask Him for all that you want and need; the du'aa of a fasting person is never rejected and this is truly a gift indeed.
But, what else can we do in Ramadhaan that will increase the amount of rewards we receive?
Let's begin with Tahajjud Salaah...
You WILL be awake for suhoor, so why not perform Tahajjud Salaah?
Perhaps you can wake up a bit earlier; it doesn't take long at all.
Tahajjud Salaah is a minimum of 2 Rakaats and a maximum of 8 Rakaats.
This is also a time when every du'aa is accepted. It's also a time when Allah shouts out and says, "Who will call upon Me, that I may answer Him? Who will ask of Me, that I may give him? Who will seek My forgiveness that I may forgive him?" (Bukhari, Muslim)
Also, during the day, recite lots of Qur'aan. It's better to complete one whole Qur'aan with tajweed than rush to complete many Qur'aans, because you may unknowingly change the meaning of the Arabic words.
You gain 10 rewards for each letter of the Qur'an that's recited PROPERLY, but you won't get those rewards if you read incorrectly. So read at a moderate pace and look carefully at each word and sign. Did you know... Allah will even reward you for at least trying.
Then, when Maghrib gets closer and it's almost time to break your fast, raise your hands or go in Sajdah to make du'aa.
Nabi Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم said:
“Whatever is prayed for at the time of breaking the fast is granted and never refused.” [Tirmidhi]
My dear children, in every du'aa you make, ask Allah to protect you, your families and the rest of the Muslim Ummah from harm. Beg Allah to cure all who are sick and remember to sincerely ask Him for forgiveness. Allah loves you, He is aware of everything you go through and knows of all that you do.
Let's pledge to make this the best Ramadhaan ever; we don't know if we may see another Ramadhaan again.
May Allah accept our fasts and good deeds. May He also write our names amongst the pious and amongst those who enter Jannatul-Firdows.
آمين
