My Strawberry Moodragon that I want to make into a fursuit some day. LOOK AT HER she's so CUTE! I think I want to name her Mooberry Lemonade like she's a my little pony lol.

And remember folks, if you wanna make a Moodragon, you just gotta make sure you get a big bowl and mix one part flavour, one part moo, one part dragon, and sprinkle in hugs and squishiness. Bake for 2 hours.

Moodragons come in various flavours! Examples include: Strawberry, Blueberry, Blackberry, Matcha, Raspberry, Cherry, Cocoa, Lemon, Orange and pretty much any flavour that would taste good with cream.

i will start with i'm not much of a writer, you won't find that my sentences are grammatically correct or anything like that. maybe you won't even bother reading anything that i write, and honestly...i don't really care.

i created this blog with the intentions of using it as a creative outlet, a place to spill my thoughts and feelings and excitement and all that comes with the ins and outs of life. of course i enjoy participating in lots of bookish activities like journaling my thoughts and reviews on books, keeping up with monthly tbrs (which i have been crushing lately, as you will soon see!) watching lots of book hauls, reading vlogs, and book shopping vlogs on youtube (maybe too many...but no booktok, i will say i still have not fallen victim to those trends).

the only thing i have found is that i lack a place to be able to actually discuss my love for literature. sure i have many friends that enjoy reading, but no one who really has the same love for it as i do. i could spend entire days curled up in a chair at the library or sitting in my room reading. books are the thing that i use to escape the world around me, a way to throw myself into someone elses life and leave the anxieties of my own behind for a while. i could talk for hours about the characters i have come to love throughout all of the fantastic stories i have read, about all the lessons i have come to learn...

so this is my place. i look forward to sharing my journaling spreads, reviews, current reads, favorites and so so much more!

Besties Vegan Paradise, 4882 Fountain Ave., Los Angeles (East Hollywood), CA 90029

What could have been another corner market at one time is now a destination for vegans in Los Angeles. Everything at Besties is vegan. They have a deli case with vegan meats and cheeses, frozen desserts, baked goods, sauces, noodles, rice, spices, beverages, tofu, tempeh, snacks, candy, etc. While you can find some of the brands they carry elsewhere (e.g., Ripple, Coconut Bliss, Beyond Meat, Nada Moo), they have a deeper selection of vegan products than even much larger stores like Erewhon. They had Tofurky products that I haven’t seen elsewhere. They had some prepared meals and desserts from local companies like Karma Baker and Yvonne’s.

Another room houses their zero waste products – soaps, lotions, washcloths, bowls, toothbrushes, bags, etc.  

Also, they have vegan hot food (franks, taquitos, mozzarella sticks, chili) and soft serve (two flavors a day). There’s a stamp card for their hot food, floats, sundaes, and soft serve.

The shelf tag has the weight, where the item is produced and the price.

Minor Figures Nitro oat milk matcha ($2.92)

Foodies PUMFU original ($6.96) – cheaper than Erewhon, good stuff, like tofu but made with pumpkin seeds

Hodo tofu firm ($4.54) – cheaper than Sip/Snack in Highland Park

Mortal Kombucha Chill Flower ($4.74) – haven’t seen this brand elsewhere, the kombucha flavor wasn’t strong enough for me

Vegan soft serve, vanilla ($5.95) – this wasn’t good, it was super sweet, sweeter than froyo and most soft serve ice cream. The vanilla flavor didn’t taste like vanilla. It was more like marshmallow. In any case, the flavor was bland and not very pleasant. And it was way too sweet.  But it was smooth and creamy.

Matcha powder

Coconut water

Milk??? (not necessary, but yum factor/nutrition??? Also moo-cow or any plant-based milk provide equal yum factor)

Ice (so much ice. ALL the ice in your household plus whatever you can pillage from neighbors)

Sweetener if you want, idk, up to you friends

Mix/stir first three ingredients together and pour over ice. Add sweetener if you’d like.

OR.

If fancy/not lazy like me because ugh, wash the blender bits and pieces in this heat??? throw everything in the blender and blenderize the hell out of it and enjoy!!1!
