The Surprise
“Is blindfolding your wife really necessary?” Amanda asked, smiling while holding on tight to Thomas.
“It is when she makes it so difficult to surprise her.” Thomas whispered, softly kissing her ear.
She held on to his arm when the floor seemed to shift and vibrate. It felt like they were in an elevator. “Where are we?”
“You'll know soon enough.” He led her further on before stopping her. “Wait here.”
Amanda tried to remain still. She listened closely, hoping to discern where she was. There was a beep and then a click before Thomas guided her forward.
"Wait a few moments more." He ordered and then stepped away.
Amanda heard another click. Wherever they were had a burst of heat start on her right side. Thomas returned and took the blindfold off.
"Oh!" Amanda looked around at the hotel suite. A fire was burning in the fireplace near the bed while rose petals were strewn about. A bouquet of roses was set on a nearby table. She bent down and took a deep breath of there sweet scent.
"Surprised?" Thomas asked.
"Very much so." She kissed him. "How did I not hear people in the lobby?"
"We didn't enter in through the lobby." He replied. "I talked the manager into letting us through the staff's entrance."
"You are sneaky." She teased.
He pulled her close. "Since we will soon be dealing with these two," he gently rubbed her stomach, "I thought we could use a weekend just for us."
"Just us." She repeated, cuddling close. "I like the sound of that."
"I hoped you would." Thomas cupped her face and kissed her.
"Who has Kathleen?" Amanda asked.
"Matt and Addison flew in two days ago with their children. They are all staying at our home with Kathleen." His lips brushed her cheek.
"They did?" Amanda blinked in surprise. "I didn't know they were in Cordonia."
"They visited the palace first and then came to St Orella this morning." He explained. There was a hint of pride in his voice at having kept this so well hidden from her. "And now, we have an appointment at the spa for a massage."
"We do?" She wound her arms around his neck. "I suppose this is to get you out of back rub duty."
He kissed her. "Not at all. I am merely taking advantage of them having a prenatal masseuse." He took her hand and led her out. "This weekend is simply to show you how much I love you."
Amanda pulled him close for a kiss in the elevator. "Allow me to reciprocate by saying how much I love you."
______________
Nearly two hours later..
"I don't know if I want to eat, clean up, or just melt into the bed." Amanda said as they walked back to their room.
He chuckled and opened the door for her. "Perhaps the next surprise will decide that for you."
"How did you plan all this without my knowledge?" She asked.
Thomas nudged her toward the bathroom. "Years of practice from living with you." He whispered, kissing her neck.
Candles were soon lit while a tub was filled with warm water. Sparkling cider and chocolate covered strawberries were on hand while an opening in the wall revealed the fireplace.
"Thomas." She whispered, speechless at the effort he was putting into this getaway.
He smiled and began to unbutton his shirt. "I hope that was an I love it translation of my name."
"It is." She promised. She looked down at her protruding belly as he continued to undress. "Maybe we shouldn't do this together."
"We should." He pulled her back against his chest. "I know the doctor warned us to abstain after your last bout with contractions," he pressed a lingering kiss to the curve of her neck, "but I still need to hold you in my arms."
She closed her eyes at the sweetness of his words spoken in that deep voice. "I would love that, though I do warn you that seven and a half months pregnant with twins does not make me look attractive at all."
"You know I could never think that." He waited until she got undressed, smiling softly at the blush visible on her cheeks in the candlelight. He then helped her into the tub.
Thomas settled behind her. He sighed at the soothing warmth while gently urging her to lay back against him.
She reclined on his chest, resting her head on his shoulder.
"This is what I have been looking forward to." He said, wrapping his arms above her belly. His lips pressed tender kisses along her jaw. "No interruptions. Nothing distracting us from each other. A moment alone with no worries."
She turned her head to meet his mouth for a long kiss and smiled against his lips when his arms tightened around her.
His voice had deepened after that exchange. "Is there anything I can get you?"
She relaxed even more within his embrace. "No thank you." She placed a kiss on his cheek. "I have all I need right here."
"That's my line." Thomas teased, chuckling when she teased him back for keeping the best lines for himself.
He cuddled her close and whispered in her ear. "You are and always have been what I need."

Back up plan
Note: Real life characters used, but with second 1st names, so I will present a legend:
Ezra Matthew Miller
Thomas William Hiddleston
Benedict Timothy Carlton Cumberbatch
Paul /no 2nd first name/ Bettany
*
- Come on, we are late...
- We are not!
- Matthew!
He stopped and tilted his head. His baby curls bounced.
- That's not my name!
- What's with you and second names? - I asked innocently.
- What's with you and second names! - he mocked with more annoyed tone.
- I like it.
- Ezra! Ez-ra! Say it.
- Ezra...
- OK... Not in this way, we are in a crowd, and I am going to work.
I laughed.
- Will William and Timothy be there?
- You mean Tom and Ben? - he walked in front of me faster, yelling.
- That's what I said. - I whined in protest.
- How about Paul? - he stopped and looked at me.
- What about him...
- His name?
- He doesn't have one... - I whined.
- Ha!
- Shut it Miller! What play you siad you were gonna rehersal today?
- Ugh... - he growl - You forgot already...
- No... I am just bad with names....
He loked at me raising a brow. I smiled and tried to wink but failed.
- I told you, you can't wink.
- It works...
- Sometimes, and only with the left eye. - he fake mocked me and laughed.
We arrived at the theater. It was one of the last rehearsals for the play they were gonna perform this Friday. We entered. The security knew him and they just nod to each otehr, we were in a hurry because we were kinda late. When the security looked at me he raised his hand holding mine and dragged me in. When we entered the big hall room they had already started.
- Sit there - he pointed me the 4th row. - The view there is the best.
The writers looked at us and frowned their faces.
- Ezra... - I squeezed his hand and pull him closer to me. - They are here, I rolled my eyes in the directon of the play writers - I can't stay, what they will say...
- They won't say anything - he pet my head - Over the rate Paul's sons, chill... - he looked at my hand squeezing his - Can you let me go now?
- Sorry - I whispered and let my grip on his forearm.
He ran and literally jumped on the stage and I sat several seats in the 4th row.
He positioned himself on the left side of Paul. He had forgotten his script, Paul gave him half if his.
- I know it, it's OK.
- You better take it - one of the writers said. He sounded rather serious, I got anxious - lately me and Ezra spend more and more time together, I was worried my presence might bother his work. My hands were shaking and I was on the edge of crying. - If I had a girlfriend that pretty, I'd probably forgot my name too! – he leaned and whispered to the other - Girls at my time weren't that's pretty... - although it was a whisper the whole hall geared him.
My head rang... Everyone were laughing. I felt my face on fire. Ezra was blushing too. I saw Paul pushing him playfully. I also heard boys giggling somewhere behind me.
They eventually proceed with the rehearsal. It was some 18 century or something. It was a straight play, with a hint of romance and drama. Paul was the husband, Ezra was one of the lovers of the wife, Tom was the other one and Ben was the the tailor, who knew about everything and blackmailed her. The actress who played the unfortunate Mrs pretend hold her big dress in one of the parts when she was dancing with Ezra. It was pretty.
At one of the other scenes where she was charming Ezra's character after several year they were apart, he kinda forgot his words and was cutely blinking, it was sprinter for him to forget, she laughed at him, it was so cute I giggled as well.... Horrible move, because all turned to me.
- Girl's giggle is always a good omen. - Paul said.
They took 20min break. Ezra came to me.
- I am so sorry... It slipped.
- What do you mean? - he hugged me. - I brough you here to test if the play was funny.
- Ezra... - I rolled my eyes - You know I laugh at everything.
- True! How do you like my character?
- Well... I say I'd tap that... Unfortunately looks like I have to be married to unlock this option. - I heared William laughing next to me.
- Not exactly necessarily - the woman said, bumping her shoulder into mine, then she ran to Paul and jump to hug him.
- Looks like she took her role for real.
- Well... Probably because she is his wife for real.
- Oh... Oooh... Mathew... Quality timeig with the wife of your mentor... Shame on you... - I yelled and slapped him, like she did in one of the acts.
- Seriously now? - he pulled me closer to him no whispered in my ear - I have seen your tumblr, so don't you dare lecture me on morals. – we both giggled.
- Get a room! - Paul yelled at us.
- Don't bother the kids. - Timothy said and ruffled Ezra's hair. - Plase convince him to keep the hair. Mine used to be like this, but I made the huge mistake of cutting it short.
- Guilty! - William stopped next to us, raising his hand and covering his face with his other one.
- I refuse to live in a world where pretty boys cut their hair! - I said dramatically and fake fainted.
- Bravo! - the woman clapped at me and laughed.
- Paul too... - Ezra whispered.
- What... - I looked at Paul, hugging his wife, like they were both 13. - Him... Curly...
- And so wrongly blond... - Timothy added.
- No.... - I covered my mouth with my hand, mimicking the vibes of the time in the play.
- Yes... Ben has photographic proof.
- I need to see it.
- Get me... The money form the doctor, and we will talk. - he said in character.
- Deal! - I did a little bow so as him.
- You managed! - Ezra squealed.
- Well I now manage to do a lot of stuff with you attached to me.
I headed someone coughing behind me, when I turned around I saw 2 tall boys - one dark haired the other blond, then it hit me these were Paul's kids and what I said probably... No definitely came out wrong.
- That's not what I meant... - now everybody laughed. - I am sorry if you thought like this.
- Of course we don't - Paul said, his wife was trying to silence her hysterically laughter.
- You are horrible... - I pointed at him with one free hand, while petting the baby curls with the other. - He is horrible! - I said while turning to face Ezra.
- Tell me about it! - Matthew said shaking his head in dessaproval. - Tom can confirm.
- Yes! - he put his hand on his heart. - I give you my word as a Marquis!
I decided to leave for the rest of the rehearsal, otherwise I feared it won't be interesting enough.
This week I met Ezra once, we went to spa. People were looking oddly at us - we were in the Jacuzzi, I was in the edge, he was in my lap, so today - in front of me, I was massaging his head, the baby curls were wet and we're even curlier. It's not that we were doing anything inappropriate... Maybe his pleasures sounds, from me massaging him were giving the wrong vibe... Who cares.
It was finally Friday!
I put on a black lace dress, as matching to their play time gap as possible. I was on the 4th row, next to Paul's and Timothy's families. I believe the pretty girl on my left was William's girlfriend, but not sure.
The play was amazing! Half the play Ezra was blinking in awe puppy in love, the public definitely loved him. Later when he was the already with a a name lower I bet half the girls were in love! He was more serious, but the baby curls made him irresistible. Paul's doctor, I am sure made several women and young ladies consider the idea of faking a faint through the cocktail. William's Marquis definitely striked, I heared someone wissling on him several times, it was ride and inappropriate, but I am sure it sums up the idea of the theater. Timothy definitely made all the women hot and in need of new dresses... And clothes in general. The spot light Madame on the other hand, made all the men considering cheating on their wives. The lady on my left blushed several times. British man William was born with manners and it was a mesmerizing to watch.
There were wild applause after. People stand and applaused, 15min. I saw Ezra tear up, this was his 2nd big theater production, this time was one of the kinda leading roles, the last time he was like 15min of 2 hours, now he was missing only 30min of 2 hours and a little bit. It was a huge win for him. The rest were already famous names in theater performances.
The cocktail was in the lobby of the theater. Everyone were super excited, from the play, several people took pictures with the actors, the writers, the producers... Kids get pictures with theirs fathers, pretending they don't know them and fangirled around them. I got several fancy pictures with Ezra, in the spirit of the performance, they were all in costumes still. Since Jenn, Paul's wife, was out of role and with present day clothes, the British club asked me to pose with them.
- No way... This shit will go viral. - I protested.
- Come on!... It will be glorious! - Ezra hugged me and waggle with me. - I will tell people this is so my girlfriend there. - he whispered in my ear is this tone of his.
- Ugh... Matthew!
- You can't say no...
- My default option is ‘yes’, not being able to say 'no'! There is completely no need for you to inssist.
- I do it only for your baby curls.
- Yes! - he loudly kissed my cheek.
I was positioned between Paul and Benedict. One was hugging me and I had placed my hand on the knee of the other. Tomas was hehind us, and Ezra was kneeling in front of me. The picture turned amazing. I managed not to giggle or blush to death. Although my mind was constantly attached to their pretty hands. I bet Ezra will tease me till I am alive for this.
We got changed for the club party. Only cast and crew members and several close friends and families. Ezra put one of his favorite 3 buttons in general shirts, the other English gentelamans were with pants and elbow rolled up shirts...
I was wearing a leather pants and lace top, and leather jacket, with my bike boots. The others went with their cars, I had picked my motorcycle for us. Since Ezra loves rides. There was a crowd of people in front the club, I doubt they knew who we were, but wanted to go in, since there was something in.
Suddenly Ezra pulled me closer, hiding.
- What is it?
- My ex! Where? – he gently pointed out while pretend fixed his hair.
- That’s why I am here, right?
- Don’t say it like that … it sounds ugly, I love you and also you are my amazing back up plan. – he whispered and masked it with kissing my cheek.
- Ok, let me!
I took his hand in mine and walked. I felt a hand on me. I looked at my left. There was a man, taller then me, sharp face and green eyes, short hair, a little bit slicked on a side.
- Yes... - he was visibly surprised, by the fact I was a girl. Ezra tired to pull my hand but I didn't turned back. - I know I am lovely! But we are busy now!
The man spoke.
- I...
- Sorry, darling, I am taken! - I rise my hand, holding Ezra's.
The man frowned.
- Ahm ... - Ezra came closer. - He is looking at me.
- Oh, of course he is, you are exquisite! But unfortunately... He is also taken! - I again raised our holding hands in the man's face. – Bye! – I sassed away.
We walked in the club.
- That was nice... - Ezra said.
- Yes... You definitely deserve an Oscar for this performance! So do I! – I sassed again. - I am sooo impressed! - I said holding his face in my hands, squeezing his cheeks and poking his nose.
- Well I am sick of him... what a jerk!
- Obviously we had a bad pick at boyfriends... - I beeped his nose.
The English gangs walked by us. We both stared dreamy nd followed.
- OK... I have to ask, but answer honestly. - he took me to the reserved spot and we sat the little couches.
- Ok... - I held his hands in mine.
- If... If you were to choose... Like Madame... Which one is going to be?
- Am... - I looked at the men - Which one of them... Like I just pick one...
- Yes! - he said with a devilish smile.
- Noooo... – I fake cried.
- Yes! Pick one. Only one... Must be...
- Damn you... Miller... - he mimmiced my giggle. - Miller...
- Yes, I am aware... You want me to hate this one too?
- I choose you! You will be the husband, I will go with them as lovers? OK!
He pretend to be in a deep inner debate on this one... He stayed like this for a while.
- OK, I agee. But only if I am in.
- Pfff... Matthew... When did I do something without you!
He kissed me.
- I hope this lipstick doesn't leave a mark.
- Nope...
He laughed. We got up to dance.
- I have one last win over you!
- Really?
- Yes, you’d meet him when he comes! And you will sooo loose the 2nd first name game! – Matthew laughed, a rude laughter.
- What makes you think I will lose?
- Jude will tell you when you meet! – he “flipped” the curls and we proceed jumping around on the melody of the song.
*
Hint: David Jude Heyworth Law – he uses his 2nd first name as 1st first name.

Hotels in London UK experience a massive influx of visitors who travel from a distance to watch the two teams battle at the odds.
The England v India 2022 matches are ODI or One Day International cricket matches that are played between two teams that have international status. The game lasts up to 9 hours and the fixed number of over is 50. These Limited Overs International or LOI are also referred to as Twenty20 International matches generically.
These matches were organised in the late 20th century. On January 5 of 1971, the first ODI between Australia and England was organised at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. With 40 eight-ball overs per side match, Australia won by 5 wickets. ODIs were played in the red-coloured balls and white-coloured kits.
You can comfortably stay at Westminster Abbey hotels and enjoy close proximity to the Lord's Cricket Grounds for the England v India 2022 ODI matches.
Since the 1970s, ODI trends have changed drastically, Coloured informs were included as were the matches played at night under floodlights with dark sight screens and white balls. The cricket grounds are fitted with cameras for different angles, effects microphones to capture sounds from the players and on-screen graphics. All of these are televised.
Organised at the Lord's cricket grounds, or Lord's, it is located in St. John's Wood, London. It is owned by the Marylebone Cricket Club or the MCC and was named after its founder, Thomas Lord. The cricket ground has significantly contributed to the history of cricket and has seen many records being made and broken.
It is also the home to the world's oldest spring museum. Even if you are not here for the match, you can always enjoy an insightful trip to the historical museum. Not only that, if you are an event planner, you can organise your event at the Lord's cricket grounds which is one of the top conference venues in London.
However, it must be noted that Lord's is not on its original site. It has been changed between three grounds since its establishment between 1787 to 1814. Lord's Old Ground, the first ground, was situated where Dorest Square is now located. Lord's Middle Ground or the second ground was abandoned for the construction of the outfield of the Regent's Canal. It was used from 1811 to 1813.
The current ground is about 250 yards away from the Middle Ground. It has the capacity to hold more than 30,000 visitors and developments are being done to increase capacity and the services offered on the grounds.

Our First Cruise Together
We recently got back from our first ever trip out of the country together and wow. Wow. Wow. Wow. That’s pretty much all we can say about it. Wait, no, that’s not right. We have a lot to say about it! Those are just the first words that come to mind. There’s more, though!
We went on a Caribbean cruise with our good friends Beau & Matt from ProbablyThis and had a blast. Celebrity Cruises was kind enough to host us on board the Equinox for a seven day cruise (be sure to check out the hashtags #sweetheartsatsea for some fun photos!) where we visited San Juan, St. Maarten, and St. Kitts – three of the most beautiful old cities and beaches we’ve ever been to. The old cobblestone streets of San Juan had us feeling nostalgic for a time and place we’d never been to before. The beaches of St. Maarten and St. Kitts were breathtakingly gorgeous. Why did we wait so long to go to the Caribbean?
First, the ship itself is so cool. It’s ginormous and has everything you can think of on board and more. It has a movie theater, a casino, a library, multiple bars and restaurants, a café, a cafeteria, an indoor and outdoor swimming pool, a gym and spa, and even a grass lawn on the top of the ship. The cafeteria is open until midnight, so you know we were snacking all day. One night, at 11:45p, we went up there and ate pizza and dessert just because we could. And it was glorious.
It took us a full 3 days to visit almost every part of the ship, as we discovered new floors and areas almost every day. One of our favorite areas to chill by far was The Lawn Club on the 15th deck on the stern of the ship. Oh, that’s another thing. You’ll have to get familiar with the words used to describe ship directions (stern, bow, starboard, etc). We heard them a ton on this trip and had no idea what they meant at first, but did our best to learn them by the end of it. But back to The Lawn Club! It was this huge yard, basically, of beautiful Bermuda grass where you could lay out and relax and work on your tan. There was a bar serving you ice cold drinks and blue skies/ocean views everywhere you looked. Is this what heaven will look like?
Other than the food and various fun parts of the ship, we had so much fun on the port excursions. The first day we stopped at San Juan, Puerto Rico and went on a food & walking tour of the old city. We drank Puerto Rican coffee, enjoyed some local dishes (and got to make our own mojitos!), and ate some flan, which we haven’t had in forever. The old buildings and charming cobblestone streets of San Juan stole our hearts. It was hot and humid, but the tour guide told us it was their winter. It was 80 or so degrees! As you know, Puerto Rico was hit so badly by the hurricane and it devastated much of the island. Tourism is a billion dollar industry there and helps their economy immensely, so they want everyone to know they are back in business and gladly welcoming tourists to the island. It’s a beautiful place and we plan on going back as soon as we can.
The next port day was in St. Maarten, which is the Dutch side of the island, not to be confused with St. Martin, the French side. This island was also hit badly by Hurricane Irma and we saw a lot of destruction that it caused. It was heartbreaking to see, but also inspiring to learn how the locals are coming together to rebuild and grow again. We went to Kim Sha Beach where the water was a beautiful turquoise and the sand was snow white. We luckily had gorgeous weather most of the time, though there were a few scattered showers here and there. St. Maarten marked the first time Thomas officially stepped off of U.S. soil and into a foreign country! For lunch we had shrimp tempura on a French baguette and it easily became one of our favorite meals on the trip. After we walked around a bit, we all loaded back onto the ship and headed towards the next port.
Our last port day was spent in St. Kitts, another beautiful island in the Caribbean. This was probably our favorite excursion we experienced because we had to travel by a catamaran to get there! Neither of us had ever been on one before so it was such a treat to sail the 45 mins from St. Kitts to a little cove with clear blue waters and lots of fish. We snorkeled with the guys and drank a locally made soda called Ting, a grapefruit drink. Snorkeling is no joke. Have you ever been? It actually takes a lot of lung capacity and we found ourselves short of breath a lot, but it was still a blast. We were wiped out by the end of it, so we hopped back on the catamaran and sailed back to the island. On the way back, we met some folks from Columbus, Ohio that were So. Much. Fun. They told us how they’ve been going on cruises together for more than 10 years (there were about 14 in their group, all friends since high school). They told us about all the places they’ve visited like Europe and Punta Cana, about their kids, and best of all, how they will be at the home & garden show this month (!!) which is where we will be speaking at! Once we were back on the ship, we started settling in the make the 2 and a half-day journey back home, starting with an invitation to watch the sail off on the helipad. How cool is that?!
The next two days were filled with lots of food, sun, shows in the theater, massages (thank you Nikky and Risper!!!!), more food, pool parties, trips to Café el Bacio (our favorite spot for coffees and cappuccinos) and walks around the ship at night.
Every night we went to a new restaurant and experienced different cuisine that was equally as good as the previous one. The first night we went to Tuscan Grille, an Italian restaurant with low lighting, candles, and such a sweet staff. We got the lobster alfredo and lasagna and man was it delicious. The next night we went to Silk Harvest, which served Asian cuisine, and they had the best shrimp tempura we’ve ever tasted. We also visited Murano, a French restaurant and also got the lobster there. They grilled it right in front of you and the whole place smelled like garlic and butter. Does it get any better than that? We decided to try out Sushi on 5, their newest restaurant on deck 5 and it was amazing. It was so amazing, in fact, that we went back 2 more times after that haha. Also worth noting is that we went back to Tuscan Grille again for dinner because it was that good. For lunch and breakfast, we mostly stuck to the OceanView Café, a huge cafeteria with every type of food you can imagine. Have we mentioned how we ate too much on this trip?
It’s crazy how a cruise ship operates. It’s like a little city, with SO many people operating it and working together to make it function. We got to know the staff and looked forward to seeing their familiar faces every day. Rex, the man who always made sure to turn down our room each night before we got in. Alexander, the executive head chef who was kind enough to give us a private tour of the kitchen during peak dinner action. Madalina, the sommelier who knew exactly what kind of wine we should drink with dinner each night. Miguel, one of the ship executives who kindly escorted us onto the ship and shook our hand every time we would pass him onboard. And even our favorite singer on the ship, a girl & guy duo called Devico, who had the most beautiful voice we’ve ever heard. It makes you feel like you’re not in the middle of the ocean, miles and miles away from civilization, when you have such amazing people to look forward to seeing every day.
So all together, this cruise was amazing. Just the idea of visiting different countries, meeting so many different people from all over the world, sharing the sea with strangers (at first) who become friends in 7 days, and being that far out in the ocean with nothing but blue waves all around you, it’s kind of mind boggling. It’s also wonderful when you can go with great friends. This is the third time in 6 months we’ve had the chance to hang out with Beau & Matt and we always have a blast each time we do. They’re absolutely hilarious and so smart when it comes to business. We’re lucky to know them.
If you have never been on a cruise before, we highly recommend it after traveling with Celebrity Cruises. They're actually offering a special offer with their Sail Beyond Event, where you can save up to $300 on select packages plus unlimited WiFi. Click here to find out more about it! We want to give a HUGE THANK YOU to Beau & Matt from ProbablyThis, Elizabeth from Celebrity Cruises, and all of the staff and people behind the scenes who made this trip possible. We wont soon forget it and will cherish these memories forever.
Love, PJ & Thomas

The Benefits of Hot Stone Massage
1.Deep Muscle Relaxation: Hot stone massage goes beyond surface muscle relaxation, penetrating deeper into muscle tissue, providing a more intense form of relaxation.
2.Detoxification: The increased heat can promote sweating and detoxification, helping the body eliminate toxins more effectively.
3.Enhanced Pain Relief: Hot stone massage is particularly effective for chronic pain, as the intense heat can reduce muscle tension and provide long-lasting pain relief.
4.Stress Reduction: Like warm stone massage, hot stone massage is highly effective in reducing stress and inducing a profound state of relaxation.
III. The Key Differences: Warm vs. Hot Stone Massage

Temperature Variation
One of the most significant distinctions between warm stone and hot stone massages is the temperature of the stones. Warm stone massages use stones heated to a lower temperature (around 110 to 130 degrees Fahrenheit), while hot stone massages use stones at a higher temperature (typically 130 to 145 degrees Fahrenheit).
Depth of Heat Penetration
Warm stone massages primarily focus on surface muscle relaxation and are ideal for those who prefer a gentler experience. Hot stone massages, on the other hand, offer deep heat penetration, making them suitable for individuals who seek a more intense therapeutic session.
Therapeutic Intensity
The therapeutic intensity of hot stone massage is generally greater than that of warm stone massage. Hot stone massage is favored for individuals with chronic pain and muscle tension, while warm stone massage is suitable for those seeking relaxation and stress reduction.
Ideal Candidate
Warm stone massage is an excellent choice for individuals new to stone massages or those who are more sensitive to heat. Hot stone massage is better suited for those who have experienced stone massages before and desire a more invigorating treatment.
IV. Which Stone Massage Is Right for You?
Consider Your Goals
The choice between warm and hot stone massage ultimately depends on your massage goals. If you're seeking deep muscle relaxation, intense pain relief, and detoxification, hot stone

Best Spa centers for yogic peoples.
Yoga and contemplation are incredible approaches to locate your middle—yet the spa, well, that is a completely unique voyage inside. Asanas have nothing on the talented handicraft of a back rub advisor or the supple fingers of an aesthetician. From water yoga in Virginia's Hot Springs to a precious stone back rub in Maui, look at these 10 spa get-away spots consummately appropriate for yogis needing genuine R&R.
Underground aquifers, Virginia
The Omni Homestead Resort, took care of the verdant, and appropriately named Bath County, is home to the primary spa structure in America. (Thomas Jefferson is said to have washed in the on-property mineral natural aquifers to calm ailment torments.) The child amicable property—croquet! bows and arrows!— keep your family involved, while you unplug at the eucalyptus warm suite and the grown-up just spa nursery pools. The stone reflexology way is a certain method to get grounded. At that point absorb the tenderly burbling natural aquifer to release everything. Attempt the Japanese-roused Hanakasumi body treatment, which incorporates an intensive foot-and-lower leg back rub to give your piggies relief from each one of those Chaturanga Dandasanas. Try not to miss the Saturday Aqua Yoga class in the underground aquifers pool (during cooler months it's at the mineral spring-encouraged indoor pool)— you'd be amazed how lightness changes the Warrior succession. Additionally, book on OmniHotels.com and your spa-cation will give supper to seven days to a group of four gratitude to an association with Feeding America.
Gurgaon, India
The "Tree of Life" painting in the hall of ITC Grand Bharat pays reverence to the eight phases of life sketched out in the Vedas and establishes the pace for your yogic excursion. Calling the Kaya Kalp Spa palatial is no modest representation of the truth. At 35,000 square feet, the all encompassing space is a sanctuary for conventional Indian treatments and Ayurvedic rehearses. The 3-night Signature Well-Being retreat incorporates a gathering with an Ayurvedic specialist who will distinguish your dosha, a body treatment, a back rub, a customized yoga and reflection session just as a mark shower custom at turndown administration (start with the Kundalini shower that utilizations orange bloom, cardamom and jasmine to patch up the sensory system and mollify stream slack). The complimentary Swasthya supper menu incorporates things like mahi tikka and soyabean daal to improve sirath (inside) and surat (outer) excellence. Enjoy a reprieve from spoiling and take a stab at zorbing, AKA climbing in an air pocket over the rural property.
St. George, Utah

End your stay with the Desert Dreams Ritual, a footbath joined by singing dishes and a specific tea mix of free leaves of lavender, white, green and peppermint teas. St. George's, Grenada
Find the sweet side of spa treatments with Cocoa Coffee body scour and the Grenada Chocolate facial at the Blue Haven spa at True Blue Bay Boutique Resort. Or then again, go for the Indian Head Massage—a 30-minute treatment that spotlights on weight focuses to improve blood stream and lymphatic waste. St. Thomas is definitely not the typical Jamaican vacation spot. All these years my family has been going and we never ventured out. After living there I was able to see the parts of the island that others may not know about. St. Thomas is the “forgotten Parish”. It’s far less developed than the others, but that leaves it to some natural beauty all it’s own. • One of those gems 💎is bath fountain. The people have fought to keep it free and open to the public. There’s a natural steam of hot water that flows into a creek (not pictured). You can get a hot water massage with pimento oil (can be bought for about 500 JMD for a smaller bottle if you want one) and natural clay. (I recommend paying with foreign currency, but local is accepted as well.) You can negotiate a price, but it’s more affordable than any spa you’ll ever visit! Going early morning or on a Sunday is best to avoid the crowds as there is one hot water flow. You’ll want to rent a car, charter or pay a taxi extra to take you up. The walk up can be done, but it’s quite the trip. Once you’re up there the walk to the fountain might be sketchy if you’re scared of heights or not very adventurous. • There’s always the hotel, located on the same property. I haven’t stayed yet to rate the facilities, but I do plan to do so. You can pay for a Roman or jacuzzi bath (pictured) for specific time increments and just sit in the natural mineral bath if you’re not into the outdoor adventure portion. It’s a relaxing experience in a private room. Bring plenty of water! It’s like a sauna in there! But there are snacks and drinks usually available to buy by the gate as well. • Can you tell that one of my dream jobs would be to be a travel journalist/blogger? Soo if anyone wants to hire me 🤷🏾♀️ I’m just sayin’ #travelblogger #blogger #travel #Jamaica #JA #SaintThomas #minerals #natural #Bath #BathFountain #mineralwater #dreamjob #job (at Bath Fountain Hotel & Spa) https://www.instagram.com/p/ByiagN3gC9u/?igshid=27u5otwheu6x

ST. THOMAS, U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS—Speaking Wednesday from the grounds of the lavish tropical estate where he plans to spend much of his downtime while in office, Donald Trump unveiled a new presidential retreat he hopes will allow him to escape from the grueling pace of life at Mar-a-Lago.
With its sunny climate, secluded setting, and luxurious accommodations, the 45-acre Caribbean hideaway known as Isola Vista—which sits on a pristine white-sand beach along the island of St. Thomas’ southern coast—will reportedly serve as a haven where the president can find respite from his five-star Palm Beach, FL resort and its many day-to-day pressures.
“After a while, all that time spent at Mar-a-Lago starts to take a toll,” Trump said of the relentless routine of recreation and extravagance he experiences at his oceanfront Florida club. “I’m there so much that sometimes I just need to get away and clear my head. Here in St. Thomas I’ll have a place where I can simply relax and, for a little while at least, forget about all those headaches I left behind in Palm Beach.”
Added the president, “A few days in the Caribbean should be all I need to feel refreshed and ready to get right back to the usual grind of Mar-a-Lago.”
According to sources, considerable efforts have been made at Isola Vista to create a tranquil retreat far removed from the rigorous schedule of golf, fine dining, and spa treatments the commander-in-chief faces every single day he is in Florida.
His stressful days at Mar-a-Lago reportedly begin at 6 a.m. with a breakfast prepared by a Michelin-starred chef, followed by an early tee time at the award-winning Trump International Golf Club. By the time the last wearying soiree at his private club finally winds down, the president is often completely exhausted, aides say, prompting his decision to decamp to Isola Vista for some much-needed rest and leisure.
“It’ll be great to fly down here from Mar-a-Lago and have a little me time,” said Trump, describing how the new retreat will finally let him enjoy some peace and quiet away from his exclusive members-only Florida resort. “The amount of unwinding I’ve done in Palm Beach lately has left me completely drained. Hopefully Isola Vista will allow me to recharge anytime I overdo it at Mar-a-Lago and start to feel run down.”
Following his first visit to Isola Vista, presidential advisers confirmed Trump’s time away appeared to have had a positive effect on his mood and energy level.
“The new retreat seems to have worked wonders on the president,” Trump aide Jessica Ditto told reporters. “When he returned to Mar-a-Lago, he was eager to dive right back into his packed daily schedule immediately and couldn’t wait to get started on the day’s first hot-stone massage.”

Wellness around the world
When the book ‘Eat, Pray, Love’ came out it seemed obvious why it was so successful. As an ambitious and driven woman yearning to find her career passion alongside a big, adventurous balanced life, this book hit home and I don’t think I was alone. Most of my close friends and colleagues dreamed of doing or being more too.
The truth is, the search for whatever “more” was to me, started decades earlier. Growing up in a small southern town, I was the slightly unique girl that managed to float relatively easily between the different cliques and social norms in my environment. I enjoyed and got along with almost everyone. All the while, I felt I was destined for a faster paced, more exciting (in my naïve eyes) big city.
Having been absolutely unable to stop singing and dancing as well as being crystal clear that I was meant to be a big Broadway star (who then went on to direct blockbuster movie musicals), I pursued my dreams with fearlessness and gusto! If I wanted to do an improvised dance piece for an audience, I just did it, if I wanted to choreograph the big tap number for the kid’s theatre group, I naturally took charge and made it happen. I started the dance team in my high school when there wasn’t one and I didn’t think twice about doing it, I simply made it happen.
When I decided to quit being a professional singer and actress and commit to being a spa manager, I felt as if I went through a break up. I was heartbroken that the industry I had loved my whole life was not the dream I’d thought it could be. I was talented enough to work relatively consistently, yet I rarely felt authentic and was always searching for my own voice. I performed on cruise ships, did a lot of regional and off-Broadway theatre, was in a few bands and I sang on tour in a Broadway show all over the world and worked with and performed with legendary icons. At auditions, I tried subconsciously to be what I thought the casting directors were looking for in hopes of landing the job. Ultimately, I became disillusioned and that’s when I discovered I was good at something else…. (sound the trumpets) Customer service.
I enjoyed my ‘survival’ job as we called them then, of being a receptionist in a busy NYC spa. I loved talking about products and interacting with guests. I quickly moved up and it felt very natural to grow in this new environment. I used my acting skills along the way when needed but for the most part, I truly liked being part of a company, participating in the growth of a brand and ultimately discovering that leadership was in my blood.
Cut to almost 15 years in the spa and wellness industry and I’m on a beach in Costa Rica having just booked my ticket only a few days earlier. What was my purpose? I had grown to not only love this industry but adore and admire the people I connected with along the way. It was so much fun to be an equal and smart businessperson alongside these other smart, driven people sharing ideas, best practices and even antidotes of our crazier moments. It was inspiring to move up and become part of a huge corporation with a strong vision that I got to be help facilitate. I felt proud to represent the companies and brands I worked for. So how come I felt burned out and unfulfilled?
Standing on the beach with my toes in the sand, I promised myself I’d make my mark on the world and do something awesome. Now as I approach middle age (gasp), what happened to that fearless young girl whose world revolved around the magic of theatre? Surely I have not reached my full potential.
After my own personal ‘Eat Pray Love’ trip involving a few weeks in St. Thomas BVI, a week alone learning to surf in Costa Rica and a week with business colleagues learning to ski in Steamboat Springs CO, I made a big move. Still trying to find my way, I accepted a new, bigger job that I had hoped would be my dream job in a new city. Sadly it wasn’t, and even though I didn’t know what I was going to do next at the time, I knew it was time to seriously reevaluate.
Then, my father died suddenly. Let me tell you, when you quit your big fat job, leave your friends and home across the country and then your biggest supporter and constant ear is gone…. The world is a totally new and different place. So here I am sitting at my mother’s kitchen table watching endless webinars, reading multiple self-help books and trolling LinkedIn for some sort of inspiration.
WHAT am I yearning to do? As most good slightly controlling driven people do, I wrote a list.
1. Travel – I have inherited my father’s wanderlust and absolutely LOVE to explore and visit pretty much anywhere.
2. Wellness or balance – I’ve lost my way and am not in my best shape physically or probably mentally so this is also a personal quest.
3. Products – I love love love products and have rarely met one I didn’t like. Drug stores are like candy stores to me and a sparkly Sephora or well-appointed spa is my crack.
4. Leading a team – being part of a bigger picture and leading a team feeds my soul. The best compliment I have ever received was from a former assistant who said my development of her propelled her career and that I’d made a positive impact on her.
5. Genuinely helping and caring – big and small scale. Being even the tiniest part of someone’s experience that they will cherish is an amazing gift. Heck I grew up going to Disney world, I will always believe in magic, it’s in my DNA.
6. The Spa and Wellness industry in general – I did not grow up going to a spa so when I did start working in one it was a whole new exciting world! That feeling has never worn off as I see trends change and evolve and provide help, healing, and relaxation for people.
7. Looking and Feeling great- this one is tough because I rarely feel like I look or feel my best but I strive for it. Getting a treatment or even better, creating a treatment with therapists/estheticians is fantastic. Everyone should get a massage and a facial often. Seriously.
8. Alternative healing and beauty- this is vague passion but I’ll sum it up: I like it all. Cranioscral, Reiki, acupuncture, Yoga….you name it I am down for it.
9. Medical spa services – I know, it’s a contradiction but not to me. I’m an equal opportunist, I believe in Natural and organic products for some things and believe in science for others. Plus, being in this industry I’m a little vain and am not above a little botox to remove the angry eleven from my forehead.
10. Travel – yup, it shows up again and again. I’m not sure if this means I travel on my own or being a guest at some of the world’s beautiful spas and wellness centers. I’d hoped that my previous “dream job” would take me all over the world but alas, it is up to me at this point to make my global dreams come true.
Having made this list, I realize I’d like to combine all of these but how? This my friends is the moment of inspiration…… I will go in search of wellness around the globe and share it with you. I’ll document my journey with blog posts and videos. Having been previously sidelined with obstacles, many self-imposed, I now rally my inner strength. I hear my Dad’s voice in my head saying, “you got this Jilly” and I slap on some sunscreen and go.

THE RITZ-CARLTON ST. THOMAS
Why we love it: For starters, it’s The Ritz-Carlton, a place that knows everything there is to know about throwing an amazing wedding. From a talented team of event professionals to a long list of hotel amenities (cozy bedding, yummy restaurants and beautiful beaches) to gorgeous venue spaces, they basically have your entire celebration covered. Just want to relax in absolute luxury on your honeymoon? Well, they have that covered, too, with a prime spot in St. Thomas and a plethora of local activities that will keep you and your love on your toes. And that includes duty-free shopping.
What you can’t miss: The spa. The Ritz-Carlton is known for pampering their guests and the spa in St. Thomas is definitely no exception. Reserve a seaside cabana, soak in an island renewal wrap or relax with an amazing massage. It’s just what your pre-wedding (or post-wedding) body deserves.

CANEEL BAY RESORT
Why We Love It: This gorgeous resort is set on 170 beautiful acres (hello, seven beaches) right smack-dab in the center of the Virgin Islands National Park. Which means you can rock that luxury-filled wedding you’ve always dreamed of with a big ol’ side of natural beauty + adventure whenever you want. It’s scuba diving by day and spa pampering by night with amazing amenities for all of your guests to enjoy. Umm… awesome.
What You Can’t Miss: Those breathtaking views. Caneel Bay’s ceremony sites alone are to die for. Not to mention their list of fab reception venues, like the Sunset Terrace, the Sugar Mill Ruins, the Turtle Bay Estate House + Veranda and the Caneel Beach Terrace.

RENAISSANCE ST. CROIX CARAMBOLA BEACH RESORT & SPA
Why we love it: Two words: tropical rainforest. Oh, and the villa style hotel suites (hey there, marble bathrooms), on-site spa and amazing restaurants have a little something to do with our obsession, as well. We dare you not to fall head over heels for the gorgeous views, and with a long list of fun-filled activities and Estate Davis Bay just a short distance away, the time of your lives is right there for the taking. Plus, they offer 10,000 square feet of event space, including scenic outdoor spots.
What you can’t miss: Their attendee booking tools. If you’re planning the wedding of the century, the Renaissance St. Croix Carambola Beach Resort & Spa makes it so, so easy with a unique-to-you Reservation Link that you can share with all of your guests and embed in your wedding website. Your nearest and dearest can even check-in using a mobile app. We adore the convenience.

ECO SERENDIB VILLA & SPA Why we love it: This five-star villa sits on a hilltop overlooking the Caribbean Sea and can easily accommodate 16 stay-over guests (+ two kiddos on rollaways) and up to 40 for weddings and special events. But you can’t talk about the Eco Serendib Villa & Spa without mentioning their amazing sustainability programs and their total commitment to providing a luxurious, yet eco-friendly experience for you and all of your guests. Their “go green” effort is applaud-worthy… and inspiring.
What you can’t miss: Their “Seed to Plate” program. Dining in style just took on a whole new meaning by giving you the option to pick the produce you want planted in the Villa’s organic garden prior to your stay. When you arrive, the Villa’s horticulturist and chef will harvest and prepare your meal, fresh from the garden. It’s awesome.
