Carag is a 13 year-old boy who must hid the fact that he can shapeshift into a puma. He finds a sense of belongs, friends, and the ability to start controlling his abilities at a secret school for young shapeshifts, or Woodwalkers. "But his new-found contentment is disrupted when a mining operation threatens to destroy the Woodwalkers’ environment and their community. This threat soon leads to mysterious attacks on humans. As the situation escalates, Carag and his friends must distinguish allies from enemies to save their unique Woodwalker world, and to protect innocent humans."

Woodwalkers, based on the novel by Katja Brandis, stars Emile Cherif, Lilli Falk, Oliver Masucci, Martina Gedeck, and Hannah Herzsprung. The film is directed by Damian John Harper from a screenplay by David Sandreuter. Woodwalkers is the first film in a planned trilogy.

Woodwalkers premiered in German theaters on October 24, 2024, and will release internationally soon.
