Carag is a 13 year-old boy who must hid the fact that he can shapeshift into a puma. He finds a sense of belongs, friends, and the ability to start controlling his abilities at a secret school for young shapeshifts, or Woodwalkers. "But his new-found contentment is disrupted when a mining operation threatens to destroy the Woodwalkers’ environment and their community. This threat soon leads to mysterious attacks on humans. As the situation escalates, Carag and his friends must distinguish allies from enemies to save their unique Woodwalker world, and to protect innocent humans."

Woodwalkers, based on the novel by Katja Brandis, stars Emile Cherif, Lilli Falk, Oliver Masucci, Martina Gedeck, and Hannah Herzsprung. The film is directed by Damian John Harper from a screenplay by David Sandreuter. Woodwalkers is the first film in a planned trilogy.

Woodwalkers premiered in German theaters on October 24, 2024, and will release internationally soon.

The Lives of Others (2006) was photographed by Hagen Bogdanski. Hagen was born in Berlin and has 52 cinematography credits from 1994 to three episodes on German tv 2020-21. His entry among my best 1,001 is The Beaver.

His other notable credits include Papillon (2017).

Jenna Coleman's new film, "Control" has apparently wrapped filming now

It seems like Jenna already finished all her scenes more than 2 weeks ago. But I just saw somewhere that the rest of the filming has also now been completed.

The film also stars James Mcavoy, Julianne Moore, Sarah Bolger, Nick Mohammed, Kyle Soller, August Diehl, Martina Gedeck, Rudi Dharmalingam, Seumas F. Sargent, and Ryan Wichert, and was filmed in Berlin.

It is based on the audio story "Shipworm". A release date is not yet known.
