F2 liveries 2023

A guide to the f2 liveries for the 2023 season!

good to know: teammate liveries in f2 need* to be at least 70-80% similar in colors *this used to be the case in 2020, not sure if it still is a rule but most likely it still is. I think Callum Ilott once said this on a stream so I have no source lol

MP Motorsport (Hauger & Daruvala) Changes: not much, the original livery is still black and orange

Rodin Carlin (Maloney & Fittipaldi) Changes: no idea what their actual livery is since they're both RB juniors

ART GP (Pourchaire & Martins) Changes: presumably changed the livery to accommodate Martins' Alpine livery but with maroon red for Pourchaire as a Sauber Academy driver

Prema (Vesti & Bearman) Changes: still looks extremely similar to their normal livery, thank the lord. no huge changes

Hitech Pulse-Eight (Crawford & Hadjar) Changes: who knows! Another pairing of RB juniors, so they're not running their usual livery

DAMS (Iwasa & Leclerc) Changes: you guessed it, another RB junior. The other car looks like a regular DAMS car, not a whole lot of change in their normal livery

Virtuosi (Doohan & Cordeel) Changes: another livery adjusted to suit the Alpine livery. Cordeel is not Alpine but got stuck with the blue anyway. No idea what Virtuosi's actual livery would've been

PHM Racing by Charouz (Nissany & Benavides) Changes: where Charouz used red, white and blue, PHM is going for brown for some inexplicable reason?

Trident (Stanek & Novalak) Changes: sure looks like a regular old Trident, nothing shocking there

Van Amersfoort (Verschoor & Correa) Changes: good old black and orange, is this a legal requirement for Dutch teams? asking for a friend. No changes from last year!

Campos Racing (Maini & Boschung) Changes: not sure why they have different colors since neither are affiliated with an academy, maybe just sponsors, but I'm not mad at it. Looks similar to last year's liveries.

My friend made a really awesome short film for her 3rd year! Please check it out. The music suits it so well and the story is very exciting!

Cruella (2021) dir. Craig Gillespie. I wasn't going to watch this but Josiah mentioned the same person directed I, Tonya (2017) which I thought was great. I watched with a dog that I was dogsitting.

Goodfellas (1990) dir. Martin Scorsese. A pretty good story. I think the acting in it was great as well. The slurs threw me SO off guard.

Puss in Boots: The Last Wish (2022) dir. Joel Crawford. I'm so excited for Shrek 5. This was great. Love how Spiderverse is bringing about a new age of animation.

The White Lotus, Season 1 (2021). I'm only watching this for Jennifer Coolidge.

One seat left on 2023 F2 grid as ART promote F3 champion Martins | Formula 2

FIA Formula 3 champion Victor Martins will join Theo Pourchaire at ART for his first season in Formula 2, the team has confirmed. Martins claimed the F3 title with the team last year in dramatic circumstances at the final round in Monza, beating Zane Maloney to the crown by just five points. After two seasons in the FIA F3 series, Martins will remain with the team and join Pourchaire for his first season in the second-tier single-seater championship. The 21-year-old completed three days of testing in an F2 car with ART at the post-season test in Abu Dhabi last year, covering almost 1,200km over the test in preparation for his step up to the series. Martins says he will be aiming to fight for the championship in his first season in F2. “After a successful year with ART Grand Prix, I was not considering taking the next step with any other team,” he said. “I can’t wait to discover the Formula 2 championship, which is tough and competitive, with such a professional and experienced team. The tests made it possible to remove what little doubts I might have had about my adaptation because I felt comfortable and confident. My objective will therefore be to do everything possible to win the title in my first year.” ART team manager Sebastien Philippe believes Martins has the ability to adapt to the new series quickly and be competitive from the early phase of the championship. “Victor made enormous progress in 2022 and has proven that in both difficult personal and sporting conditions, he has the mental strength and the talent to achieve great things at the highest level of motorsport,” said Philippe. “The Abu Dhabi tests confirmed his ability to adapt quickly and well to his new single-seater. His determination, his enthusiasm and his conquering spirit will be weapons in a championship where competition is fierce.” Martins’ confirmation leaves just one final seat to be filled for this year’s Formula 2 championship – that of the second MP Motorsport driver alongside Red Bull junior Dennis Hauger. Audi se suma a la lista de inscritos del Mundial de Rally Raid W2RC en 2023: Todas las categorías en autos y motos crecen 

El equipo oficial de Audi a través de Q Motorsport se ha inscrito para disputar el Mundial de Rally Raid FIA W2RC con sus tres autos pilotados por Carlos Sainz, Stephane Peterhansel y Mattias Ekstrom, en lo que verá aumentar la competitividad del campeonato que vivirá su segundo año. A partir del Dakar 2023, Audi sumará puntos para el Mundial a diferencia de este año donde participaron en algunos eventos selectos y sin puntuación. En total, 19 autos aparecen inscritos como participantes del Mundial en un claro crecimiento de la parrilla para la próxima temporada a partir del Dakar en enero.

Además de las tres entradas de Audi, se destaca que también se han inscrito por los puntos Martin Prokop con el Ford Raptor, Mathieu Serradori con el equipo oficial de Century, Guerlain Chicherit y Orly Terranova representando a Prodrive y dos equipos chinos con SMG y BAIC. Se suman a la parrilla estable conformada por el campeón Nasser Al-Attiyah, el subcampeón Sebastien Loeb y Yazeed Al-Rajhi.

Las motos tendrán 16 inscritos con los equipos oficiales de KTM (K. Benavides, Price, Walkner), Honda (Quintanilla, Brabec, Cornejo, van Beveren), GasGas (Sunderland, Sanders), Husqvarna (L. Benavides, Howes) y Hero (Buhler, Branch, Rodrigues, Caimi) todos presentes además de Mason Klein que subirá a la categoría principal con el BAS Dakar tras ganar cómodamente el título de Rally2.

En la clase T3 habrá 14 participantes, partiendo por las dos mitades del equipo oficial Red Bull Can-Am que tendrá a Chaleco López defendiendo el título, Cristina Gutiérrez, Seth Quintero, AJ Jones y Mitch Guthrie. También estará Yamaha X-Raid con Annett Fischer y Joao Ferreira y en el South Racing, Fernando Álvarez, Helder Rodrigues, el argentino David Zille y Dania Akeel.

En T4, veremos también 14 inscritos liderados por el campeón Rokas Baciuska en el Red Bull Can-Am, con South Racing presentando a Rodrigo Luppi y su hijo Rodrigo Conti, Sebastián Guayasamín, Molly Taylor y Yasir Seaidan. Energylandia presentará a la familia Gozcal con Michal y Marek, además de su hijo Eryk. Nico Cavigliasso también correrá el serial. Finalmente, los primeros campeones del mundo del SSV, Polaris, regresan con gran fuerza con un equipo de dos autos liderado por el mejor SSV del Dakar 2016, Michele Cinotto.

Finalmente, habrá cuatro camiones T5.

F2: Vesti dominates in wet Silverstone Sprint Race

Mercedes junior Frederik Vesti was in a league of his own as he strengthened his Championship lead with a third victory of the season. A heavy downpour ahead of the Sprint Race left the circuit drenched, but Vesti overcame a rolling start and one Safety Car restart to breeze to victory by over 13 seconds. Theo Pourchaire lost out early on but fought back to take second, whilst Jack Doohan was locked into a relentless battle in the later stages with Oliver Bearman but overcame the Briton for third. READ MORE: Verstappen beats Norris to pole in thrilling wet-dry qualifying at Silverstone Tricky conditions on the opening lap saw Brad Benavides tagged by Clement Novalak, as the pair tried to avoid a slowing Ayumu Iwasa, triggering an early Safety Car. Once racing resumed on Lap 4, Vesti steadily pulled miles clear of the pack, as his PREMA Racing teammate Bearman flew past Pourchaire and Isack Hadjar with two brave moves into second. However, a spin at Club undid his efforts two laps later, and Pourchaire soon found his own way through on Hadjar in the Hitech Pulse-Eight car. The mistake allowed Doohan to close in on the Briton to set up a lengthy duel. Firstly, he seemed to have got the move done, but was squeezed onto the run-off at Stowe. Bearman then made his own dive past Hadjar at Copse, with Doohan following through. Forced on the defensive, Bearman locked up into Vale, running into the gravel, dropping behind the Alpine Academy junior who assumed the final podium spot. F3: Franco Colapinto wins rainy Silverstone Sprint Race Enzo Fittipaldi and Hadjar eventually demoted the Ferrari junior to sixth, as Victor Martins and Arthur Leclerc rounded out the top eight points scorers.
