Ok so context: i have an android phone. Why? I ain't gonna pay for all of my necessities (phone, phone charger, earbuds, ext) at full price for an iPhone, I'm saying hell nah to that one plus I've dealt with apple products before and... No. Just no, i don't like to use them. Though I'm probably gonna upgrade my phone soon because the one I'm using is getting old, either way not the point

Anyways. So Android phones do a thing to YouTube videos that aren't music videos that you can have a mini screen on while going to other apps.

Ok so of course, sometimes that glitches by making the YouTube mini screen invisible.

I was watching YouTube on the mini screen earlier while doing something on my phone, when the video was over i thought i closed YouTube down for now. Apparently not because i clicked on the corner of my screen and it popped up and scared tf outta me

And I'm currently quietly laughing at my own stupidity at being jumpscared by YouTube

So me and my family went to Meow Wolf (in Denver Colorado specifically, aka the alien planets themed one), loved it there and the place, right up my alley, hated how my mom practically kept me on a leash the entire time and were moving far to slow to what I'm used to moving around

Anyways, I now have a son

Their name is Zalok, their eyes apparently glow in the dark and scared me when i saw small eyes looking back at me when I turned off the lights.

I love them.

A distinguished gentleman.

Though the cashier when i got them whispered something to him and that frankly worries me. Because i don't know what they said to them at all

Idk why but I remembered something that happened online a few days ago and I'm trying not to laugh at myself because of how i reacted

Ok so i was playing a horror map with a couple of friends, which happened to be both console and VR accessable, which does play in for me btw because i play the game in VR. The whole map tho being about you're being hunted by creatures with no eyes so they go off sound of where you are kinda deal.

Ok so we were playing, whatever doing puzzles and stuff.

I was up a ramp, closer to where we spawned in that portion of the map because i thought that was where we were supposed to go next so i was just waiting there for the other two to be done since it was crammed where the other two were though of course i stayed visible to them.

Turns out... that that was NOT where i was supposed to be because the animation of the monster appeared and was RIGHT next to me and starred chasing my friends to where we were ALL supposed to be at.

One of my friends panicked and yelled my name before being chased while my dumbass froze in fear and put my hands up in a "i surrender" pose (remember how i said i play in VR? Well as you can guess my hands were up like that irl too)... To a monster with NO EYES

We were all kinda "linked together" for where to go so the next loading screen i was with them so everything went fine. But we were all joking about my reaction (myself included of course because it was funny to me the fact that it WORKED) and one of my friends actually said how, in a realistic standpoint if this was irl and not a videogame, how smart that'll be to just stay completely still and silent like that.

Yeah 5 seconds later the monster appeared again and 2/3 of us (me and the only one of the three of us not in VR since console people can do it too) instantly did the hands up thing again... Though that time it didn't work but we were laughing through that jumpscare cutscene
