The Last of Us Fancast
I’m very excited about the Last Of Us show and after the anouncement of the casting of Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey as Joel and Ellie, I wanted to talk about the people I had personally envisioned as the characters. This by no means implies that I disagree on the casting, I’m very excited to see both Pedro and Bella embody these characters and I think they’ll do great! That said, here are the actors I actually had in mind that could play the characters.
Joel Miller: Nikolaj Coster-Waldau or Hugh Jackman.
Don’t tell me he doesn’t give off Joel vibes! I haven’t seen Game of Thrones, but frmo what I’ve heard he’s an amazing actor capable of showing both Joel’s soft and dark side. Besides, he physically resembles Joel and he’s the right age and build!
I’ve seen people not liking him as Joel, but... I can really see it! He reminded me a lot of Joel in Logan (not to mention that the movie itself was a lot like The Last of Us with the traveling and his father-daughter relationship with Laura) and I think he could do a really good job as Joel!
Bonus Joel: Karl Urban
Ellie Williams: Kaitlyn Dever
I haven’t seen Booksmart (yet) but I saw someone saying that she could be Ellie and I thought she would be great! She physically reminds me of Ellie and it feels like she would do great at portraying both her innocence but wild side from the first game. I just get Ellie vibes from her as well, it’s all about the vibes.
Tommy: Charlie Hunnam
Marlene: Sonequa Martin-Green or Zoe Saldana
There’s a limit of 10 photos per post, so I’ll do the other characters soon! Tell me your thoughts so far, I would love to know!
#should i do one for part ii as well? let me know!!#random#fancast#the last of us#tlou#the last of us fancast#tlou fancast

Grant Gustin is pictured and heavily preferred for the face of a romance request for Marlene McKinnon (fc. Candice Patton). This guy is really open to make your own.
Liam Hemsworth is wanted for Frank Longbottom. Face claim is open, but character age should be 27-28. The man is super open to create/plan out with the player who is rping his wife Alice. Former Order member and father to Neville, he has a lot of potential plots he can be a part of!
Daisy Ridley is pictured for Mary Macdonald. The face claim is open, but character age should be 25. Marlene, Lily, & Dorcas would love to have the final member of their girl gang around!
Zoe Saldana is wanted for a romance interest for Kingsley Shacklebolt (fc Idris Elba). This woman is pretty open to make as you wish, though it would be neat if she also is a career-driven individual, much like King has been over the years.

Fancast for Riverdale Era at Hogwarts
I thought it would be a fun exercise to decide what characters from movies and whatnot I felt related to the various non-Riverdale characters in my fanfiction (because the Riverdale people are all casted). Here are my thoughts on the characters (in order of appearance):
Scott Mulciber- Aaron Tveit
Enjolras in Les Miserables. Dedicated to the cause of the Death Eaters, rallies friends and scorns enemies, opposite of Enjolras he does take an interest in women.
Evan Rosier- Allen Leech
Imitation Game portrayal of John Cairncross. Observant, friendly and kind on the surface, but will hold his ground and manipulate you if need arises.
Christopher Wilkes- Chiwetel Ejiofor
Doctor Strange portrayal of Mordo. Concerned with order and authority.
Tristan Avery-James Soulsby
Mischief Managed portrayal of Peter Pettigrew. Fun loving, but a little behind everyone else and too enthusiastic about things.
Severus Snape- Mick Ignis
Severus Snape and the Marauders portrayal of Severus Snape
Lily Evans- Chloe Delanney
Mischief Managed portrayal of Lily Evans.
Sirius Black- Robert Downey Jr
Iron Man. The first one. Everything is about him even if he isn’t trying to make it that way. He is smart, but not wise.
James Potter- Bradley James
BBC Merlin portrayal of King Arthur. Cocky jock who is the best at all things jock, not a bad mind either, a little bit of a bully, but has the best intentions that don’t always turn out right.
Remus Lupin- Robert Pattison
For portrayal of Edward Cullen. Isolated, thinks he is a curse, avoids romance, still caring, but distant to everyone.
Peter Pettigrew- Logan Leman
Charlie in Perks of Being a Wallflower.
Mary MacDonald- Judy Greer
Casey in 27 Dresses. Complainer, encourages risky behavior because she has been there done that, she is a partier, don’t ask her to settle down.
Marlene McKinnon-Reese Witherspoon
Annie in Penelope. Good friend, caring, likes to help you push your limits, fun loving.
Millie Moore- Emily Blunt
Emily in Devil Wears Prada. The best trend follower/setter, obsessed with being the best, not particularly loud, but dedicated where she thinks it counts.
Zoey Slater- Angel Coulby
BBC Merlin portrayal of Gwen.
Zara Greengrass- Zoe Saldana
Guardians of the Galaxy portrayal of Gamora. Very particular, headstrong with her opinions, doesn’t have time for silly things, will cover herself unless you have proven worthy of her friendship and trust.
Persephone Phillips-Brenda Song
London in Suite Life of Zack and Cody. She really isn’t that empty headed, but as a pureblood without a sacred 28 last name she uses it as a tactic to earn male attention.
Victoria Rhyes- Amy Adams
Brenda Strong in Catch Me If You Can.
Coco Bean
This beautiful cat I found on the internets.
Regulus Black-Jonathan Rhys Meyers
August Rush portrayal of Louis Connelly.
Barty Crouch Jr- Andrew Scott
BBC Sherlock portrayal of Jim Moriarty. [He’s really only a background character in Season 1, but I hope to use him more in future seasons....depending on where Riverdale goes in Season 2.]
I guess Zoey and Victoria are also just background characters, but I still care about them. Ask me about any of these characters.

ESTRENOS DE LA SEMANA (26 de abril - 06 de mayo de 2017)
por Luis Miguel Romero
ALIEN DAY: ALIEN
GUARDIANES DE LA GALAXIA VOL. 2 GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 2
*PAÍS: Estados Unidos *GÉNERO: Ciencia Ficción / Fantasía *CLASIFICACIÓN: A *DIRECTOR: James Gunn *ELENCO: Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Bradley Cooper, Vin Diesel

Manny & Lo (Sony Pictures Classics) / Marvel Cinematic Universe Wikia
Once upon a time, Scarlet Johansson was a child actress, Samuel L. Jackson was bullied and Jeremy Renner was broke. I don’t think any of those actors could have ever known what the future held for them. Some of Marvel’s cast members came from rough times of poverty and broken families. Others had their start in acting before they were even old enough to begin school.
It certainly didn’t happen overnight, but the following actors have signed themselves up to be a part of the largest grossing franchise in history, according to Forbes. From the yet to be fully introduced, Brie Larson as Captain Marvel, all the way to Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man, this cast makes up the globally-popular Marvel Avengers.
Take a look at some of the Avengers cast members when they were just little ones. Before the fame, before the fortune and before landing roles in record-breaking blockbuster films.
Brie Larson/Captain Marvel: This award-winning actress got her start as a Disney star. She played Courtney Enders in the 2003 Disney Channel Original Movie, Right on Track. She had her major breakthrough role in 2015’s Room which won her the Academy Award for Best Actress. Today, she’s gearing up for the release of her first Marvel film, Captain Marvel, which is set to be released in 2019.

Samuel L. Jackson/Nick Fury: Samuel L. Jackson grew up in Chattanooga, Tennessee during the 1950’s. In an interview on Live! With Kelly and Michael, Jackson revealed he learned to read by the age of two. He used to get beat up at school for being so smart. Today, he has the last laugh by being one of the most celebrated actors of all time. He plays Marvel character Nick Fury.

Chris Pratt/Star-Lord: Upon the release of Avengers: Infinity War, Chris Pratt tweeted out an interesting story from his childhood proving just how crazy things can work out. He told his followers that when he was 12, he bought $300 worth of baseball cards and comic books. He’d hoped they might be worth more one day. In a stack of his old comics, he found “The Infinity Gauntlet.” “Little did I know … baseball cards would end up being pretty worthless, and [the] same with comics. If I were to buy an island, it would have to be the old-fashioned way. (Like playing a character that existed in the comics),” his hilarious tweet read.

Zoe Saldana/Gamora: In an interview with Ocean Drive magazine, Zoe Saldana revealed she was bullied as a child. She insisted the struggles she went through made her fearless. “I’ve been called everything, I’ve been told everything. And yet, the moment you realize [bullies are] coming from a place of complete fear because they knew that you were the one who was going to get away, you’re free,” she said. “Get away” is right. Today, Saldana plays Gamora in one of the highest grossing franchises of all time.
Instagram: @ZoeSaldana / Marvel Cinematic Universe Wikia
Elizabeth Olsen/Scarlet Witch: You’ve been living under a rock if you don’t know how Elizabeth Olsen got her start. She’s the little sister of the famous Olsen twins actresses, Mary Kate and Ashley. While she did live in her sisters’ shadows for quite some time, Elizabeth eventually got her own start in acting. She landing her first major role in 2011’s “Martha Marcy May Marlene”. She got the role of Marvel’s Scarlet Witch in 2014 and it looks like her career is going nowhere but up from here.
Instagram: @ElizabethOlsenOfficial / Marvel Cinematic Universe Wikia
Mark Ruffalo/The Hulk: Mark Ruffalo didn’t just fall into acting. It took a lot of hard work for him to make a name for himself. In an interview with Moviemaker magazine, Ruffalo revealed he had attended over 800 auditions before landing a big role. Today, that’s all in the past. He’s been in major films such as Shutter Island and Spotlight. And, he’s been playing the major role of The Hulk since 2012.
Instagram: @MarkRuffalo / Marvel Cinematic Universe Wikia
Scarlet Johannson/Black Widow: Scarlet Johannson had her first movie role in the film North at the young age of nine. In an interview with James Lipton, Johannson said her childhood was no walk in the park. Her parents had four children to take care of living in Manhattan, New York. They had to rely on welfare and food stamps. Today, that’s all changed, “ScarJo” is an A-list actress and plays the wicked Black Widow.
North Castle Rock Entertainment, New Line Cinema) / Marvel Cinematic Universe Wikia
Tom Hiddleston/Loki: It’s hard to believe the Tom Hiddleston on the left could ever play a villain looking that cute. Growing up in England, his mom instilled a love of film in him at a young age, according to Biography. He started out acting in theatre and slowly transitioned into film, eventually making a name for himself. Today, he plays Thor’s villainous brother Loki.
Twitter: @TwHiddleston / Marvel Cinematic Universe Wikia
Chris Hemsworth/Thor: Arguably the biggest heartthrob of all Marvel movies, Chris Hemsworth grew up in a farmland in Australia with his parents and two (also incredibly good-looking) brothers. According to E! News, he had his small screen start on an Australian soap opera. He got big enough down under to appear on Dancing With The Stars Australia. He eventually made the move to the silver screen and today he charms audiences as the hunky Thor.
Instagram: @ChrisHemsworth / Marvel Cinematic Universe Wikia
Chris Evans/Captain America: Chris Evans had his start in show business in the early 2000’s, landing roles in films like Not Another Teen Movie and Cellular. However, his big break came in 2011 when he got the leading role in Captain America: The First Avenger. He’s since gone on to play Captain America in seven other films along with Avengers 4 coming out in 2019.
Twitter: @ChrisEvans / Marvel Cinematic Universe Wikia
Tom Holland/Spider-Man: Tom Holland, only 21-years-old, can still be considered a little one. He told PEOPLE about his rough start in the acting world. At the age of 12, he starred in a London run musical of Billy Elliot. “There were times when I was bullied about dancing and stuff,” he said. “But you couldn’t hit me hard enough to stop me from doing it.” On he pushed, on the left we see him in the 2011 film, The Impossible. On the right, he’s Spider-Man, starring in biggest reboot ever according to Forbes. The film grossed an estimated $870 million worldwide.
The Impossible (Summit Entertainment) / Marvel Cinematic Universe Wikia
Robert Downey Jr./Iron Man: On the left, we have a five-year-old RDJ with a small role in the film Pound, which was directed by his father. On the right, we have one of the highest paid actors in the world. With a father in the film industry, it’s no wonder he became an actor. Following years of controversy in the media and addiction issues, RDJ made a major comeback. He took on the role of Iron Man in 2008 and has continued living a sober, stable life.
Pound (United Artists) / Marvel Cinematic Universe Wikia
Jeremy Renner/Hawkeye: Like most actors trying to make it in the industry, Renner started out his career completely broke. He told Business Insider that he and a friend would actually buy, live in and renovate homes in Los Angeles to keep a roof over their heads. In 1995, he made his debut in National Lampoon’s Senior Trip at the tender age of 24. Fast forward to 2018, he plays Hawkeye in one of the most successful movie franchises ever.
National Lampoon’s Senior Trip (New Line Cinema) / Marvel Cinematic Universe Wikia
Chadwick Boseman/Black Panther: Chadwick Boseman made history when he became the titular hero in Marvel’s Black Panther. The gravity of his role had special meaning to him. During press for the film, he revealed he was the victim of racism as a child growing up in South Carolina. Today, Black Panther has gone on to break records, it became the third film ever to earn more at the North American box office than Titanic, according to Forbes.
Anderson Independent Mail / Marvel Cinematic Universe Wikia
Dave Bautista/Drax The Destroyer: Though the photo Dave Bautista tweeted is a little blurry, no amount of blur will hide those rock hard muscles. The photo on the left is him during a bodybuilding competition at the age of 18. Bautista had his start in the mixed martial arts world. He’s a six-time world wrestling champion who went on to pursue acting. It’s no wonder he landed the role of Drax the Destroyer, who else could fit that massive (in more ways than one) role?
Twitter: @DaveBautista / Marvel Cinematic Universe Wikia
Baby Raccoon/Rocket Raccoon: Now we had to throw this one in just for fun. How cute are baby raccoons! The adorable (yet pesky) critters found in dumpsters at night has been recreated into the genetically enhanced Rocket Racoon for “Guardians Of The Galaxy.”

As mentioned in my previous post, I’m going to take you through a quick(ish) recap of my recent trip to Los Angeles, where the sun always shines, the people are friendly (and always seemingly high), the fast food is plentiful and cheap, and the overall quality of life just seems to be that much fuckin’ better.
Ready for the next set of adventures? OK, leggo …
Day 3
Today was just a day to futz around and see the city, namely parts of it that I hadn’t before explored. But first things first — breffus!
Mane, look, this was good as hell!
I made my way to Jack in the Box, except not the one I usually frequent at Sunset and Cahuenga, which, oddly, has the distinction of being the worst restaurant in the world. (I humbly disagree.)
After taking a morning walk around Hollywood, I ended up at a JITB somewhere on Highland Avenue. It was there that I had to ridiculously inexpensive breakfast you see posted above.
Now, you’ll note, I love me some fast food. It is what it is. But what I marveled at during my time in Los Angeles is just how much cheaper fast food is out there. An entire meal at In-N-Out might cost me $7; the breffus pictured above, $5. Shit in NYC is so overpriced it’s offensive. This is but one example of why I don’t buy into the whole “L.A. is just as expensive as New York” nonsense.
But, I digress.
After breakfast, I made my way down to Wilshire and over to the La Brea Tar Pits.
Yeah, yeah, I already know. The Tar Pits are the pits — literally. But I’ve been intrigued by them since I was a kid, and I finally had the opportunity to visit. It’s actually quite fascinating.
For starters, tar and methane continue to seep up to the surface to this day. I could see it all bubbling up in one of the pits. Pretty freaky — and cool.
There are places on the grounds where tar emerges and so the staff has put out cones warning people to “look out” for “sticky” areas. I found that most visitors like to poke sticks into the tar, proving that we are all still children, no matter our actual age.
I also bugged out at the fact that, to this day, small animals and bugs still get trapped in some of the tar pits. Crazy, son.
After touring the La Brea Tar Pits, I went next door to LACMA — you know, the Los Angeles County of Museum of Art. While there, I walked around its outdoor sculpture garden, where I saw, among other works, the iconic Urban Light installation. It’s pretty damned cool, if you ask me.
All of the lights.
After checking out the art, I went around the corner, where Johnie’s Coffee Shop sits.
Declared a historical landmark by the Los Angeles City Council back in 2013, Johnie’s Coffee Shop is another example of the Googie-style architecture that once dominated Los Angeles. It’s appeared in numerous films, including Reservoir Dogs, The Big Lebowski, Miracle Mile, and Gone in 60 Seconds (the Nicolas Cage one, not the good one).
Interestingly enough, it became a hub for Bernie Sanders supporters during the 2016 election, and much of the political artwork and messaging remains, as you can see above.
There were a few other notable places I passed and saw on my journey back to Hollywood. The SAG-AFTRA headquarters were right there near the Tar Pits; the Petersen Automotive Museum was across the street from Johnie’s; although I didn’t get to go during this trip, I passed by the classic Canter’s Deli on Fairfax; and I also saw the Groundlings improv and sketch comedy school, retro burger house the Oinkster, and, of course, Winchell’s donut house.
And then it was on to Big Wangs, mane. They had little Buffalo bites, like four for $2, son. I had to get down on some. And while I was there, I worked on a screenplay and treatment, because even on vacation I gots to get some work in, ju heard!
After dark (and a quick beer-induced nap), I made my way back over to the Chinese Theatre so that I could get a good look at some of the celebrity handprints in its forecourt. I spotted classic and contemporary stars such as Sidney Poitier, Sophia Loren, Jane Fonda, George Clooney, and Michael Jackson.
Feeling a wee tinge of hunger, I also revisited Dave & Buster’s, where they had specials galore, including $4 beers and $5 nachos. So that was dinner. Tee-hee.
Day 4
I woke up a bit later than I had planned, so I decided to get something quick and easy for breffus …
In-N-Out for breffus
In-N-Out, mane!
Oh my God, I so love the Double-Double. So delicious, so sublime.
Once my belly was stuffed, I moseyed on over to the tourist trap of all tourist traps, Madame Tussauds. Now I know what you’re thinking: “How corny!”
Yeah, I actually thought the same thing. But then I went through the exhibit …

Bruh. Madame Tussauds takes you on a 45-minute journey through Hollywood, showcasing stars from the 1930s up to the present day. As you can see above, they had wax figures of everyone from Audrey Hepburn to Rihanna, from Alfred Hitchcock to Quentin Tarantino, from Bette Davis to Kylie Jenner.
The Marvel room was the very end of the exhibit, and I was wearing a Marvel T-shirt. One of the employees was like, “Man, you’re gonna love the next room.”
Seriously, I had so much fun, it’s ridiculous.
Hanging out in NoHo … that’s North Hollywood, not North of Houston.
After the tour at Madame Tussauds, I hopped on the Metro and journeyed out to North Hollywood.
Ah, yes. North Hollywood. The Valley. I kinda dug it. It’s a bit quieter than Hollywood proper or Downtown L.A., with its arty sensibility and retro-chic aesthetic. I imagine it would be a cool place to live.
Beer goblet, as per usual

LOL
Mjölnir key chain!
Im here so much Im the mayor!
I loitered around North Hollywood for a bit, and then it was time to head to — where else? — Big Wangs! More beer, more bites, more music, more fun.
Also, did I really snatch the Big Wangs mayorship on Foursquare Swarm? Bruh, I’m from out of town! LOL.
Seeing Thor: Ragnarok again!
And because it was a relatively chill day, I decided to end the night with a movie. So of course I saw Thor: Ragnarok a second time!
This time I saw it at Regal’s L.A. Live 14. On Tuesdays, they screen first-run movies for just $8. That’s a bargain!
And, yes, I enjoyed Ragnarok just as much as I did the first time. Hell, it’s so good, it may be the first film I see three times this year.
If only this were true …
And on the way back to the hotel, I saw this … on a street named Hope.
One day … maybe … one day …
OK, song time until next time! Here’s “MotorSport” by Migos featuring Nicki Minaj and Cardi B.
