Kristen Stewart was getting cancelled on tumblr and I found out about this through a passive aggressive post aimed at the Twilight fandom. Then I found out that her only crime was making a bad Mario Maker level.

Originally, this was just supposed to be a splatoon picture, but then I remembered that the Wii U was more than just Splatoon for me

I was even able to play my first Zelda(Windwaker) on there! as well, as finally play ocarina and twilight, princess 

It may not have been the best console, but it holds a lot of really good memories for me and those silly squid kids making me mentally ill was one of them 💕💕🦑

I made this one too before the other one but I initially didn’t think it was going to be enough, looking back at it now I do like it

MARIO 3D MAKER ANNOUNCED!!!

With the success of the 2D level designers Mario Maker 1 and 2, Nintendo has announced the upcoming release of Mario 3D Maker, in which players will be able to design and play their own 3D levels like in Mario 64, Super Mario Galaxy, and Bowser's Fury.

"The skill level required of the player is greater in 3D," said Mario spokesman Namu Wartveggie, "So Nintendo will be providing classes in 3D design, as well as online courses in 3D modeling, shader construction, and non-uniform rational beta spline modification, which will be the main tool for Mario 3D Maker."

Some fans have expressed concerns that the learning curve may be too steep for casual gamers, but praise the Nintendo's ambition to allow players across the world to make their own levels. According to James Beefcloud Jr., "I have a degree in 3D game design from USC, and worked as a developer on Unreal Engine for several years. This new Mario Maker game is pretty hard to figure out." 11 year old beta tester Daisy Thompworthy disagreed however, "Yeah I mastered it in a couple hours. The interface is slightly counterintuitive but once you get past the non-euclidian modality of the boolean interactions it's pretty easy to make a level. I figured it out between Sekiro speedruns."

Mario 3D Maker will release for the Super Switch console and computers with over 30 terrabytes of RAM in July.

to round off last night's stream, here's the Miiverse style art i made of Rivers building a level in Mario Maker!

i sketched this in MS Paint with a tablet to simulate drawing it on the gamepad, and used Aseprite for pixel-y things like the dithering and comments – how did anybody have the patience to do that with the stylus??
