Just one.

His name is Morel. He's the only street sweeper in The Mushroom Kingdom, but unless there's been a big festival he doesn't really have a lot to do because Toads are so neat and clean and don't really litter anywhere.

So he's pretty happy whenever he sees Luigi out and about, because that means there's a 50% chance something's gonna get knocked over or broken.

Did you people miss me? I took a drawing break but managed to power through this big drawing yesterday! I really wanted to draw all the Partners together with the man himself. With how many pictures for it exist now(and all the positive attention received tysm!) I decided to give my Paper Mario "setting" a name, what with a potential plot taking shape in my weird little head. Hopefully I can make even more content for it along with my other ideas. Making OCs is fun! Why'd I not do it for so long?

The variants include (from left to right on each drawing) Bleeding Tooth (both Flipped Up and Flipped Down caps), Vine, Brush (both Leaves Up and Leaves Down), and Clover!

Mario ocs I finally will share info about

Bombomtaro (or just Bom), a Bom-omb samurai who has a rivalry against self-proclaimed Oni-King, Tensei, a Koopa gang leader who had taken over Bom's home country.

Ven Diona, a Putrid Piranha. Boss of the Diona Gang, one of the most infamous gangs of the criminal underworld. He plotted to take over the Koopa Kingdom and destroy Bowser's family. The plot ultimately fails as the Koopalings are able to take him down but because of a lot of their underlying issues at the time, they had almost split apart after his arrest.

The Piranha Man, a Spiny Piranha Plant whose name and origin is unknown. A man who was believed to be a monster due to his appearance. He had allied with Ven Diona during his plot to take over the Koopa Kingdom.

Marie, a Magikoopa scientist who works for the Koopa Kingdom. She hates magic because there's no way to explain it scientifically and it drives her nuts.

Pierro, a Ptooie clown. He jus chillin idk man.

So I caved in and decided to design some (Paper) Mario OCs for the fun of it. I wanted to focus on newer species from some of the newer games, though it occured to me that we never had a piranha plant for a partner.

Extra stuff below the cut:

Bonnie - A rich Bonneter who wants to see the world outside of her hometown, she accompanies Mario in hopes that he would be able to give her that wish. In return, she assists him by helping him solve puzzles.

Her field ability works similar to Kooper and Koops where Mario can launch her. In battle, she's also able to absorb enemies' HP by capturing them for a brief period.

Petra and Screech - A pair of adopted siblings, Petra is the shy and reserved one while Screech is the loud and abrasive one. Both of them wish to become singers one day, though their music needs a ton of work.

Petra can hover for short period of time, so her field ability allows her to carry Mario through large gaps. In battle, Petra is able to attack by biting her enemies. She has trouble with spiked enemies, however. She can also use Screech to make enemies dizzy for a short period of time.

Wubblyn - A young Wubba that Mario finds in a cave. She likes to explore all kinds of nooks and crannies, though this often gets her in a lot of trouble. She greatly admires Mario and wants to be just like him one day.

Her field ability allows her to squeeze through small gaps in the walls that Mario can't get to. In battle, she's able to charge at enemies and cause them to get stuck, though she can't reach flying enemies. She can also lower the enemy's defense.
