El concepto del “estéreo” (un formato de reproducción sonora con casi un siglo de antigüedad y aún con vigencia) siempre me ha provocado interés como tema en la composición. Este formato había aparecido como tema cuando compuse la obra “Estéreo” (del álbum “Pendiende”, 1999) donde los canales del estéreo son usados más como fuentes que como plano de imagen sonora. En el caso de “Faro” que había comenzado a interpretarla en vivo sus primeras versiones durante el año 2011 , su montaje consistía en un sistema estéreo por delante del intérprete y el público y otro sistema estéreo por detrás ellos. Entre estos estéreos se disputaban dos universos sonoros: uno más tonal y reposado, y otro pleno de distorsión. Convoqué a la artista visual Mariela Bond para trabajar en esta versión audiovisual de “Faro” para el ciclo Luminiscencias, sin recordar que ella había sido partícipe de la primera interpretación en vivo de esta obra. Al comenzar la conversación, recordaba perfectamente la obra. Para esa ocasión (en el festival Panorámica - Fundación Telefónica) las imágenes eran trabajadas sobre una pantalla apaisada de gran tamaño."

Princess Rhaelle never let Alicent get in the way of seeing her brothers and sister. In return, the young princes and princess grew up knowing they were loved and cared for. Princess Helaena was set to marry her nephew, prince Monterys, the young boy loved his aunt as much as she loved him. The children were still young but soon enough they would marry. Lady Laena and prince Daemon left King's Landing after an argument between the young princess and her uncle. No one knew what the argument was about, not even Laena or Laenor.

The Keep was lively with all the children running around. Princess Rhaelle was expecting her seventh child, Laenor was always watching over her, he, despite having other taste loved his wife, it was odd to say the least but they did love each other yet they shared bed with others. Laenor knew this babe was to either be his child or the child of the Commander of the City watch. He didn't care though, he loved all his children, even the ones he did not sired.

"The queen has been quite as of late" Laenor said as he took a sip of his wine. Rhaelle nodded. "She has no other lies to spread. For now" she replied. "If this babe is mine she will say nothing. Your father as put her in her place and he has replace Otto with Lyonel Strong. The man keeps his son and grandsons protected no matter what" Rhaelle smile. Lyonel Strong was an honorable man and she knew it. When Harwin confessed to his father what had happened between him and the heir to the Iron Throne the man nearly collapsed where he stood.

But he knew that Jace and Luke were his blood and he had to protect them. Rhaelle made allies with other houses. House Stark was a match she had come to make. Her Visenya was to marry Cregan when she came of age as they were only two years apart. Monterys would marry Helaena. Jace would marry Nymeria Martell, Luke would marry Mariela Tyrell. Aegon would marry Baela and Aemond would marry Rhaena.

The matches were secured by Rhaelle and her hand, securing her reign with other houses. Aethan was to marry Morrigan Baratheon to strengthen the bond between the houses. Laenor had made allies with people in the Free Cities to farther support his wife.

Alicent Hightower plotted on how to end the princess. Her and Larys Strong always tried to find out ways to ruin the princess' reputation but they always failed as the princess was always one step ahead until once she wavered. When Laena was due to give birth the lady called her closest companion and friend, princess Rhaelle.

Princess Rhaelle, after hearing the news flew on dragon back to see her lover, Lady Laena. Although, pregnant and nearly her time to give birth as well, she discarded anyone's opinions and flew over to see her. "Laena!" she yelled as she tried to run. "Rhae, please!" Laenor begged as she left him behind. "She can't die on me, Laenor. Not her. Not Laena. Not my Laena" she nearly cried. Her steps echo in what seemed to be an empty hall. Rhaelle stopped and gathered herself before walking in.

Laena, smiled as she saw her lover. "Rhaelle" she began. "You came" she whispered. "You called" Rhaelle replied. She rushed to see her, she sat beside her. "I can't believe you're here"  Laena said tiredly. The woman has been in the birthing bed for hours now. Daemon waited outside, he didn't want to see Rhaelle just yet. He couldn't.

Rhaelle held Laena's hand as the two talked about what they had been doing since Daemon moved his family away. "I know my time has come, Rhae" Rhaelle shook her head. "You cannot leave me, Laena. You hear me?! I cannot do this without you" she cried.  Laena smiled at her dearest love. "I wish to ask for one last thing" Rhaelle nodded. "Anything" she told her.

Laena kissed Rhaelle's hand. "When my time comes I wish to have a dragon riders death. I don't want to be cut open. I just wish to go in peace" before Rhaelle could reply, Laena's labors pain came back but stronger. Rhaelle held her hand, she delivered Laena's son third daughter for her. "It's a girl, Laena. A beautiful baby girl" Rhaelle said with a smile as she held the baby girl in her arms. "I wish to name her" Daemon walked in. He laid eyes on his wife first before looking at Rhaelle. She simply nodded, acknowledging his presence.

She walked over to Laena first. She wanted her to get a chance at holding her child. "Here, take her" Laena seemed to be fighting to stay. "What will you name her?" Rhaelle asked. "Rhaella. In your name and honor" she replied and Rhaelle felt the sting her eyes. It wouldn't be long before the tears would come. "Oh, my sweet Laena" she said in a whisper before bending down to kiss her. "Promise me, Daemon..." Daemon walked over to her. "Promise me, that Rhaella will be loved, always. Promise that you and Rhaelle will watch over her and her sisters" Daemon nodded as did Rhaelle.

Lady Laena Velaryon passed away two hours after her daughter's birth. At Laena's funeral everyone had gathered to say their last goodbye. Rhaelle stood with her good mother, princess Rhaenys. Vaemond gave his speech and bid his goodbye to his niece. He had jabbed at Jacaerys and Lucerys blood but nothing got past Lord Corlys who glared at his brother. The funeral had ended and everyone had gathered near the beach to spend some time with the grieving family.

Princess Rhaelle sat with Ser Laenor both let the water feel them. "I miss her" he said in a hush tone. She held him by the arm. "I remember when we were little. We used to play the hiding game. We used to play that for hours" she smiled at the memory and he did too. "Do you remember when we accidentally found the secret passages because we had lost Laena?!" the two laughed at the memory of their sweet Laena.

Laenor kissed Rhaelle's hand. "Thank you" he said to her. "For what?" she asked. "For loving her as much as I did" he replied. "I love you as much as I love her" she replied before kissing him. Daemon watched her; jealousy brewing within him. Alicent watched them too, she hated the fact that Rhaelle was happy without her. It was never about the crown. It was always about her love. Rhaelle's love.

one of the only words mariela says (once in a blue moon) is “mama” (what she calls regulus) and she mumbles it in her sleep sometimes when she’s cuddling with him like “mamamamama…”

they’re both the only two out of their family that experience mutism and prefer BSL to spoken language, so they have a very close bond, and regulus is the only one that can fully calm her down

mariela (and finch) likes to sit down and play with regulus’ curls, whether it’s braiding them, putting clips in them, tying them in strange patterns, etc., she just loves her mama’s curls <3 a very satisfying sensory activity for her when she’s little and when she’s older

mariela is a s l e e p y baby, always napping in regulus’ arms and nuzzling closer to her. she can’t get to sleep without hearing her mama’s heartbeat and her singing, but she stays asleep for hours.

bonus for james and finch🤭: just like regulus can with little star, james can always tell when finch is about to knock something over or crash into it, so he’s at the ready and scooping him up in his arms before he can. kisses and hugs often follow, and lots and lots of giggles ofc. the only things james can’t save are his glasses though. poor things get ripped off and whipped around by his little baby, then finch comes around and smacks them off on accident through his various jittery activities. those glasses last like 2 weeks and then he’s buying a new pair, but regulus loves them so he never gets contacts (not that he’d want to. my james is quite fond of his glasses <3)

BACKGROUND

Lucius is the first-born son of Samwell Blackwood, a child who was born out of wedlock. Gléra, Lucius' mother, raised him until she passed in a car accident when Lucius was only six years old. Lucius was in the car with his mother, and he actually got to see her dead in the car when the paramedics were pulling him out to take him to the hospital. Samwell took him in then, and he moved from Reykjavík to the Faroe Islands to live with the Blackwoods.

Since his childhood, he showed an affinity for music, and Samwell ensured that his son had the means to nurture that talent.

Lucius was a bit rough around the edges in his school years, and he was diagnosed as a teenager with anger management issues, stemming from the trauma of his mother's accident. It wasn't rare for him to get into fights at the boarding school, especially when it came to stepping in to defend his siblings. Therapy helped him greatly to deal with his trauma and work through his anger issues, giving him the right tools to deal with that. And of course, music continued to be a means for him to process his emotions and find some catharsis.

After graduation, he studied music composition at the Iceland Academy of the Arts and did his Master's degree in Film Music at the Stockholm Royal College of Music. He had his big break composing for his first film in 2017, fresh out of of his Master's degree.

His artistic name is Lucius Rivers, a nod to his mother's name, Gléra (Icelandic name meaning "glass river").

Lucius has been lauded as one of the great film composers of his generation, due to his unique style in blending orchestral elements with modern electronic textures that create atmospheric, emotional soundscapes that feel timeless. His work has been consistently recognized for the past five years, earning award nominations and consecutive wins at the Academy Awards for the last two years for his projects in films with Denis Villeneuve and Ulises Tarth.

RELATIONSHIP HISTORY

Lucius dated Zialla after the two of them collaborated for the theme song of a James Bond movie. He was brought in as the composer for the film, and given Zia's popularity she was the director's pick for the theme. Together, they were nominated for an Academy Award and their performance at the ceremony sparked a lot of speculation that they were together due to their chemistry on-stage. Little after, they confirmed they were in fact dating. They were together for over 3 years, but with work increasingly keeping them apart, they chose to end things amicably.

Is this the way to point the rising star and top actress Ferguson and her amazing character Ilsa to the exit of the M.I. franschise?😭….Could you really not think of a better farewell for her?

Did Rebecca herself ask to be written out of the franschise ?,since this double episode does not mean the end of the series and thus there are still going to be M.I. movies in the future according to Christopher McQuarrie and Tom Cruise.Now that Ferguson also has other roles to tackle in films and series"Dune" en "Silo"where there will be a second season of it, I can imagine our Swedish beauty being too busy to play the role of Ilsa in M.I. anymore.Or did Rebecca not ask for this at all?

Was your inspiration already running out with her character or do you think with the arrival of Hayley Atwell her Grace that Ilsa's role was played out in the franschise?

Otherwise, from the previous film "Falout," it looked very much like Ilsa was going to join the IMF now that she had surrendered her "license to kill" to MI6 exchanged for a "license to love" for her and Ethan❤️

They completed the story of Ethan's previous great love who was also his wife,Julia Meade-Hunt (Michelle Monaghan) , especially for this purpose and even had her and Ethan separated from each other because they wanted to use the genie that Cruise and Ferguson radiated toward each other toward the next films.Why did you put all that effort back then only to make it all worthless in this film,all that effort for nothing???

So did you guys just suddenly change your mind when Hayley Atwell could join the new film because Christopher McQuarrie had wanted her for years and Tom Cruise and Atwell even had a relationship with each other for a short time.Maybe they thought Atwell was a suitable or better replacement for Ferguson in terms of love interest for Tom's spy?

And what's the point of her death for in the story?To make Ethan suffer or even more motivate to kill Gabriel?As if Ethan wouldn't have had a good reason to want to kill him before that.He killed his first great love Marie in the past(Mariela Garriga) and is a great danger to his friends and lover so her death really made no difference in that?

The James Bond Franschise was heavily criticized precisely because in the earlier 007 films women were killed before to motivate James to take out the villain,which was woman-unfriendly to many now and now M.I. would indulge in these practices as well?

Or are you telling a big lie and Ilsa didn't really die in the movie? At the beginning of the movie, after Ethan came to her aid in the desert, it seemed at first that she was dead, which fortunately she was not, and then Ethan asked her to stay dead to the outside world.After Ethan found out that Gabriel,his old dangerous sadistic enemy was back on the scene,he probably prepared Ilsa for that in order to deceive him since he knew that she might not be able to stand up to him individually and Ilsa put a bag of fake blood in her blouse to make it look like she was mortally wounded and then played it well so Gabriel thought he had killed her?

We didn't really see Ilsa die in her last shot,only wounded or mortally wounded in Ethan's hands and it may be feigned comedy to deceive Gabriel.Or even if he really stabbed her that doesn't mean she died from that,she may also be badly wounded and that's why she and Ethan decided to let the outside world think she is really dead so Ilsa can recover from her wounds secretly and dead to the outside world safely and well.

The character of Pom Klementieff who plays Paris here was also stabbed at the end of the film by Gabriel and was also badly wounded but apparently her character is going to survive because she participates in the sequel,even though I myself thought she was dying, so why not do the same with Ilsa???

We are watching a "Mission Imbosible" movie where great deception occurs several times,so it is certainly not impossible.I'm not 100% convinced that Ilsa is really dead until I've seen the sequel or Christopher McQuarrie and Rebecca themselves officially confirm it, so who knows, maybe they want us to believe that she died so we'll be surprised when she reappears next year in a secret smaller role and for the last time in this franchise.That e.g. James Bond in NTTD had a daughter in the movie 2 years ago,was also a big secret that they managed to keep hidden from most so who knows also that this theory of Ilsa could be true or at least I hope so from my heart.

Because Rebecca Ferguson and her Ilsa Faust deserve a much better ending than this anyway.His and her character have taken the franchise to a much higher levela,her dynamism and acting talent that she exuded was top levela that not many are going to be able to match and with all due respect to Hayley Atwell and Pom Klementieff(especially of Pom I am a fan)but they are never going to reach that levela that Rebecca had!

So McQuarrie and Cruise,rectify this major blunder of this film if you can because for the last time:Ferguson and her Ilsa deserved much better than this brutal murder and I fear even a lot of fans for the future M.I. would drop out otherwise.

It wasn’t easy feeding two hungry kids on an inconsistent salary—there wasn’t always someone willing to pay to have their fae-related troubles taken care of, and sometimes there wasn’t anyone who could pay in the first place. They made ends meet how they could, living on a sailboat to lower expenses as much as possible while still allowing for easy travel around the islands of Indonesia and Papua New Guinea. There were odd jobs here and there for their single father, and the kids themselves had taken to scamming locals whenever they landed in a new place.

That’s why, when he found a sizable community of hunters willing to take them, the paterfamilias of the Tangaroa clan happily gave his son and daughter away.

It was a decent enough life, though being separated from his sister meant that he grew away from her. Instead, he was given to a family with a boy his age, and the two became fast friends. They grew up together, were homeschooled together, and learned how to kill together. It was the strongest bond the boy had ever had with another person, so when it came time to leave the nest, the pair naturally struck off into the world together. They got their own boat and lived on the sea, walking in Rhett’s estranged father’s footsteps to lead a nomadic lifestyle, learning many new skills and workable trades along the way to make ends meet. It worked for them for years, until they found a young woman adrift at sea. She was fae, they immediately knew, but Rhett was able to convince his brother to let her live. He’d never been as rigid as Desmond when it came to killing—particularly with sentient fae, he was more inclined to let them go if they weren’t hurting anyone. Desmond always caved to his sibling’s wishes, caring more about their bond than some stupid fae.

But Mariela, the sun nymph they found floating at sea (an escaped captive, she told them, after her whole aos sí had been destroyed), proved to be a more difficult case for Desmond. It was because Rhett was falling in love with her, and as much as he hated the idea, he did want his brother to be happy. So he tried to just accept it, to get past his prejudice and get used to her living on the boat with them, which worked for about a year. Then she announced she was pregnant, and Desmond snapped.

It was a promise that Rhett had made to Mari to protect their family that ended up saving her, but the same promise killed Desmond. And Rhett, whose hand held the knife dripping in his brother’s blood, blamed the nymph. In a fit of heartbroken rage, he kicked the hesperide off the boat, vowing to kill her if he ever saw her again. And after a week under the unbearable weight of loneliness, Rhett resolved to find her and take both of their lives and put an end to this whole mess.

During the decades that followed, the older hunter fell in with a large family of slayers in Mexico, finding a new family for himself and letting his need for revenge fall to the wayside. Already a talented blacksmith, Rhett built a small forge in the town and provided weapons for his new community, settling into a routine that was comfortable—with the occasional interruption to go hunt down nymphs and other fae when he would get news from his extensive network of contacts.

While out on one such hunt, his surrogate family was wiped off the map, save for one person—a younger slayer he’d come to love as a little brother. Finding him alive was supposed to be a good thing, but with the rest of them gone and the grief too heavy for either hunter to bear, their tempers often flared and they fought until it drove a wedge between them, forcing them to go their separate ways.

Alone again and with nothing else to live for, Rhett resumed his search for the nymph that had ruined his life and set him on this dark path, picking up what might have been her trail again much farther north. So, with the possibility of finding Mariela and putting himself out of his misery, Rhett headed to Wicked’s Rest after hearing what a hot spot it was for supernatural activity. If nothing else, he could live out the rest of his days in this cursed town, being useful with however much time he had left.

Personality: Paranoid, intense, unpredictable, obsessive, protective, pugnacious, resilient, eccentric

When he is not hunting and killing fae, he can be found working as a contracted smithy at the Ball & Chain forge in the Pines. He is a skilled swordsman and master craftsman.

He has earned himself a reputation among hunters for being particularly brutal with his methods of dispatching fae, and will hunt any type of supernatural being if asked. He has no reservations when it comes to fae with human intelligence or their potential innocence, fully buying into the idea that one day, whether they mean to or not, they will hurt someone.

He suffers from a dissociative disorder that often forces him to stop and check to make sure that his perceptions are real, or that he’s not experiencing a memory. He has several grounding techniques that he uses, but if he is in the presence of another person, he may suddenly ask them to describe something they see or interact with him in a way that would confirm his corporeal presence.

He is fully blind in his left eye and partially blind in his right eye, but it isn’t visibly apparent and the warden is sort of in denial about it. This is a relatively recent injury, and as such, his coordination both in battle and life in general is not what it used to be. This means that more of his targets get away from him, which only serves to make him angrier with the supernatural community as a whole.

Rhett drives (and lives out of) a refurbished vintage Volkswagen van, painted with a rather psychedelic, purple mushroom landscape on its sides and back. He lovingly refers to it as the ‘Fungi Wagon’.

Later that day, Megan, Tess, and Emily met up with Amira, Safiya, Amir, and Mariela. Emily was happy to see Mariela, and they headed to a bench and sat together and chatted.

Megan and Tess greeted Amira, and Megan hugged her two oldest nooboos. Amira glanced over at her daughter chatting with Megan’s daughter and smiled. “They haven’t seen each other in a few months but they’re already back in friendship mode.” She joked to Megan and Tess. “Yup. Emily was so excited to see Mariela today, she kept saying they’d walk around the museum together and talk. I swear, they bonded ever since I brought Emmy over to your house.” Megan added, grinning. Safiya watched her moms’ exchange with some wistfulness. Although she knew they weren’t in love anymore, and were happy with other spouses, it still made her sappy to see them talk casually like this again. It made her remember Winterfest where her moms would be goofing around and talking, and would hug her and Amir before they’d sing silly winter songs and exchange presents, or family summer vacations where they’d be in the car on the way to the beach, and Megan would hold Amira’s free hand as she drove and they’d smile at each other from time to time, which Safiya found slightly cheesy but sweet. Saf snapped out of it as her stepmom Tess asked her a question about her soccer team at Foxbury.

very normal about last nights session entirely because in the post-game my gm offhandedly went 'you're assuming theres a good outcome [to the impending confrontation with Mariela]' and thus my brain started running fucking rampant about what the fuck could possibly happen and i am Afraid

so, in brief. naielle kidnapped her sister mariela to prevent her from tearing a hole in reality, and when she brought her back with her to the main plot, Mariela got forcefully made a warlock of naielles patron. marielas been highkey plotting to kill naielle for a while, but the two had come to something of an understanding about their situation, the fact that naielle was sincerely genuinely sorry about it, and that they actually had a way to get them both out of the pact.

however, before this could happen, twin aboleths unleashed a Wish spell on a nigh-divine scale, intending to unwrite the expedition naielle is apart of which has been opposing their forces. this has fucked with a lot of shit, and notably causes problems for mariela.

the way the wish has worked is that it worked backwards to find the spot to rewrite from - the expedition's departure - and changed that event, and then has filled in the subsequent ~year up to the present day, which is the day they unleashed the wish. however, this rewrite is not perfect. while the majority of people dont remember the original timeline, some do, and many of them actually possess the powers they would have without realising it. for instance, while naielle started the campaign as a lvl1 warlock, and thus in this reality should still be a lvl1 warlock, she is actually lvl 13.

which means that mariela, having never been kidnapped, and thus should not be a warlock, DOES have that extant connection to their patron.

there are other things. since naielle was not in the expedition, and as a result several things did not occur, she never teleported home to marry her fiancee, and THUS never aided in the capture of her sister. meaning the holes in reality WERE created. mariela was not stopped in this task (which has some other implications due to how naielle stopped her originally, but naielle doesnt remember that yet)

so, there are holes in reality, which have been used in the loal war, and which have resulted in mariela's side clearly winning and naielle's clearly losing. like indisputedly.

A consequence, at some point in this chain, is that Mariela appears to have gotten Fucked Up. she wields the power of the unravelling of reality, she HAS the warlock powers with an unclear amount of knowledge as to where she acquired them, and has possibly been contacted or manipulated by the twin aboleths who started all this. the amount of meddling isn't clear. but she's supercharged, furious, and inbound.

the party is aware of the weird timeline shit, and is in the process of fixing it. this requires destroying a specific artifact - the scroll which declared the expedition cancelled. this is easier said than done, being of nigh-divinity requiring like power to destroy.

for which there are options :)

Naielle channels the full might of her warlock patron, briefly becoming a mortal demigod and destroying the artifact, at the cost of becoming an aspect of her patron. this is apotheosis, something naielle has been avoiding in the prime timeline

the party find some means of throwing the artifact into one of the holes in reality, ideally rending it asunder (?) and thus destroying it

this obviously means mariela, though naielle does not know that.

so! thats great. delightful.

so obviously, with regards to a 'good outcome' for naielle and mariela, both need to survive this event. now, dying in this reality before it is 'corrected' is not in and of itself a death sentence, as evidenced by a few characters who were dead originally who are not currently (bc the events that lead to their death never occurred, or some external force got involved). HOWEVER. ascension to the astral sea, as in the case of naielle achieving apotheosis, would be a reality-withstanding "death" (she technically isnt dead but she doesnt get to continue being on the material plane, i tell you what).

'severing the bond of kin', similarly, would. probably kill mariela 'permanently'. like this cant be Good. it cant just be as simply as killing her once. it would be sort of primal, given the transformation she appears to have undergone. the nature of her connection to our patron isn't Good and Normal (its actively killing the patron, which is Cool). its. its not good in here!

so now its like oooooh. this might not end well at all. i was prepared for naielle to have to help kill mariela, and then in the fixed reality have to grapple with that and apologising and so on. but there might be like. PERMANENT consequences. which. ooooooh. ooooooooh nooooooooooo

and the bit that hurts that little bit more. that makes it a little bit more painful, especially for naielle?

Hera comes over and they start bonding! They become good friends! Aria is really enjoying talking with her and getting to know her more! 

Aria is definitely feeling really happy in the place that she is in her life right now! 

I’ve had Aria roam around the worlds the last couple days and she’s getting closer to completing her collection! 

Aria mastered the DJ mixing skill which is so exciting because it means that she can open up her new bar soon! 

Aria gets promoted to Chef Drink Operator! 

Mallory’s hamster passes of old age which makes her really sad but was happy to know that she gave her a good life! 

It’s Aria’s birthday so she spends some time baking herself a cake! 

She ages up into an adult and Mariela supports her! 

For her birthday, Mallory gifts her a building for her to start up her own bar! She decides to place it into a new town called Newcrest! She names her new restaurant/bar Scotty Bar and Grill after her mother’s vet clinic Scotty Paws! Aria is so excited for this point in her life! Next step: settling down and completing her career!

1. what is their full name? do they have any nicknames? what are they and why did they get them?

Vera - Also know as V, Vera Bazhaar is my main girl with the link to Silverhand. V's nickname was picked up after leaving her nomad clan the Bakkers. She needed something quick, easy and memorable that didn't lend out her full name. (V stands for Very creative alias) She also adores the amount of sex jokes the name V has since opened up for her.

There is also a part of her that wanted to separate herself from that period of her life. But as she’s had time to move on she’s gotten ok with her close friends calling her Vera.

Nyx - Born as Salone redacted

Nyx decided to name herself after the primordial goddess of darkness to protect her identity and reflect her place of being a powerful person in the shadows. It also unintentionally reflects their minor god complex. (Also to be noted Nyx identifies as nonbinary and uses she/he/they pronouns.)

Dante - Rockerboy with the stage name Dante Aguatavana but the people from home know him as Davidson. 

Before he had built any kind of career Davidson was just the tough guy on the street. But on top of being the tough guy he was known for taking care of his own without needing any familial or gang ties to them. If you were from his neighborhood you could come to him. 

As this reputation grew with his neighbors as he got older people, especially women would come to him seeking help from abuse and dangerous friends or family. 

Not everyone has the Mox to back them up when this kind of trouble starts up Davidson was the one to turn to. 

This quickly became a way to discreetly get rid of abusers, often staged as a break in or robbery gone wrong that was common enough in the area to not raise an eyebrow. The abusers would be killed without a trail to follow, just like the poison Aqua Tofana from times long past.

Dante took this name to honor his origin and remind him of his values during his rise. Determined to never let himself slip away when he found fame.

31. who are their closest chooms in NC?

Vera - Sedak - (OC) Vera's best choom is a Solo named Sedak. He's a flashy type of guy with a killer attitude who's always dripping in gold. Their styles don't exactly match but when they work together they get an amazing synergy going. With V hacking targets and sniping from the shadows while Sedak keeps all eyes on him and his mantis blades.

Judy feels like home to be around. Not the same way the Aldicacos do, with tents, campfires and a sister, who she considers Panama to be. But in the way that lets the world wash away when she comes home to her. The way that making her smile has turned into her daily goal. Judy has the bit of genius in her that keeps V hooked. They've both got ideas for technology just in different ways with techie know how and V's netrunner experience. She knows they can make amazing things together and it's all the more reason to spend as much time as possible together.

Nyx - It's hard to find people who can understand who they are as a person now. For so long working for corporations defined their life and now with finding a new purpose it seems that others couldn't quite see past that label.

Delamain - It says something about a person when your best choom is a car… But Del can understand her in ways others can’t. Both attempting to defy their purpose but not quite knowing how. She couldn't bear to reset a freedom that they had worked so hard to achieve. Del has proven to be a great friend, able to offer advice, listen and never judge her gruff way of speaking. Now without the taxi service they're free to roam together. They have dinner while watching the sunset together at least once a week.

Dante - (OC) Her personality is not for everyone and she is starkly aware of the fact. She built walls to protect herself and hurled insults from the ramparts. Dante was able to laugh off the insults and threw some back even. Often just going for a laugh but sometimes actual critiques that made her think. By being Dante's choom Nyx has grown as a person and become more understanding and personable.

Dante - When you can have good days of being surrounded by groupies and bad days of trash magazines and exes trying to ruin your reputation it's hard to tell who's truly your friend. You can’t trust those who just kiss your ass or idolize you. It's just a race to see who's heart gets broken first when you come crashing off the pedestal.

Edward Shawnalore - (OC) But with Edward Shawnalore he doesn't feel like there is that layer of rose colored glass between them. They meet during a bar fight, fighting back to back and watching out for each other while they teamed up against all the pissed off patrons. Ed says what he means and sure he's a bit angsty and mixed up in the head at times but he's still figuring things out on his own. They’ve always have time for banter and quick jabs during gunfights. They really bonded on finding out that not only did they have the same taste in music but they both made music the other liked. He wasn’t really expecting to fall in love with Ed when it happened but sometimes it just it just hits ya at the most unexpected times

34. Do they have siblings?

Vera - Vera was raised very communally. Her family really took "It takes a village" literally. Therefore she feels like she had many siblings as well as many parental figures in her life.

But with this abundance of family she did in fact have an older brother by blood. His name was Axel and he was obsessed with fixing and building cars. Always helping show Vera around the shop. She was never too interested in how cars worked or how to fix them, opting to just bring them to her brother if they needed work. But she fell in love with driving. The newer the better, she was always so interested in technological advancement.

Nyx - Grew up as an only child and has never gotten used to sharing or not having things her way. Her family put untold resources into creating and raising the perfect daughter. But she didn’t turn out to be that in many ways. 

Unfortunately this still affects Nyx and they can tell but can’t quite fix it. They have a hard time making and maintaining friendships. They often can’t quite tell where the line between friendly and hostile is due to being raised by cold handlers and tutors who she thought loved her, giving her this warped perception of what love is.

Dante - He has two older brothers and a little sister. 

The eldest, Aurelio went off to war and came back in pieces not really the same. He's been on a slow path to recovery and he lives at home with their Mother. He says he's there to help take care of her and Dante lets him have that. They never got along as kids but are slowly working on rebuilding a relationship.

The second son, Emilio joined the Valentinos. He's been sticking to the gangoon lifestyle ever since. He and Dante don't really see each other that often but they say hi whenever they pass each other at Padre's.

Lainey was a surprise baby for the whole family. Dante's mother, Mariela thought she wasn't able to get pregnant anymore and… well now there is a toddler in the house and Dante is just trying to be a good big brother for her whenever he's around.

Yeah, I’ve got a few moments before the alchemy brew will be bubbling

Okay okay so these guys are in a little bit of trouble at the moment. The Miami circle is having to throw down with the sabbat right now, but they’ll be fine. I..hope. Anyways, so there are five thinbloods in charge. The first is my Tommy- not Tommy baker who is also a thinblood under the wing of the tremere and fled! Confusing- so...I’ll call him Mr Martin? Jeez Fina is rubbing off on me. Anywho, Mr Martin is what we have titled a Brawler, for now. His job is kinda like being the sheriff or hounds, but like, less formal and more bone breaking. His job is to essentially keep the safehouse defended and teach the other thinbloods how to fight. Mr Martin is like me and is one of the shovel- I mean thinbloods from Atlanta. Woke up in the same dirt pile! He and I like to knife spar for fun, He tells me that it isn’t fair when I use far reach to stab him. I say I’m leveling the playing field because he’s a combat veteran and always has a belly full of bulletproof- as he calls it. He just resonance taps to get Fortitude all the time.

The next person I met in Miami was Asha. Asha is our Pathfinder in the circle. The pathfinder is supposed to help with internal community affairs and offer advice and guidance to thinbloods. Her job is kinda like being a harpy and sweeper- but uh way nicer and less suspicious. Asha is an outspoken community activist and used to lead a lot of the rallies and events for the Latina community in Florida- well, that was when she could go in the daylight. Asha actually did the difficult thing of leaving everything behind and disappearing once she was embraced. No one knows she’s alive- ish. She’s still outspoken, but has dedicated herself to pulling thinbloods like her from the clutches of the sabbat. She really really really hates them. I don’t try to pry about what they did but uh- she’s definitely fucked up about it. But anyways, it was Asha who reached out and found my two next circle members: Mariela and Quinten. Mariela is our Host in our circle. Again, kinda like a harpy, but offering the hand to other kindred in the area. Her job is to keep up appearances and make pretty little alliances. And Mariela LOVES the attention. She’s a bit vain. But it works. Mariela works closely with Quinten- her childe. Yeah. Mariela embraced someone. Not a lot of thinbloods can do that. And although Quinten hasn’t tried, he can make ghouls. Quinten is our Scout in the circle. Everything up until now has been kinda oh its this but nicer! Quinten has the shady bloody job. His job is to make things look official on paper and be an assassin. I don’t like it but it's a truth. Sometimes you gotta stake a few bastards and live for another month. 

Quinten is a… bit quiet about it. He’s got these dark dark brown eyes that always look like his pupils are dilated. It’s honestly a little creepy. Like he’s thinking about how he can cut you up into little pieces and dissolve you in lye… so he’s perfect! The last one is Jose. Asha and Mariela and Quinten convinced him to join. I explained that I was leaving and I think that was also a deciding factor for him. He didn’t want anything to do with me or my project. And honestly? Fair! Jose is the alchemist who’s lab I got a bit lost in the sauce and eviscerated him for making me frenzy.. Heeeheee I held him together with duct tape! Ah uhm… yeah. I can be humble enough to admit when my alchemy is outmatched. Dude knows how to brew Animalism and Protean like a pro. However, the alchemist had never seen my Far reach or envelop and that surprised him. 

The last one in Miami of import is Cass. Cass I have been sworn to secrecy about a few things. But uh, she is cutthroat. She doesn’t take any shit. Not that she can afford to. She’s one of the older kindred who...gets it. She knows what it feels like to be hunted for what she is and what she can do. She broke my blood bond! That power is enviable. So. Yeah she is in Miami, but good luck finding her. She doesn’t want to be found.

It was a wonderful sunny day this day, it was the perfect day for Mariela to take her horse out for a ride in the nearby forest. She prepared herself by getting dressed in an appropriate dress to ride and then making her way down to the stables. She approached her dappled grey Hanoverian horse and prepared him to be ridden. She could of had servants do this kind of thing for her but she preferred to do it herself sometimes as she thinks it makes her and her horse feel closer and create a stronger bond between them.

After about 15 minutes she was ready to ride and made her way towards the gates of Wendale. However, she stopped walking when the gates opened. She was confused at first as she didn't ask for the gates to open but the realised who it was. Rob Stark of Winterfell. She immediately bowed her head to him before speaking. "Welcome Lord Stark. I apologise for my appearance as I would have dressed more appropriately if I knew you were coming."

1. All the Named Akras Characters have gone on at least one fishing trip with Grahdens at some point in their careers. All of them. Paris didn’t even know how to fish until she went on her first trip with Grahdens, where he taught her everything. 

2. Seria has the unfortunate reputation of being “That One Shitty Substitute Teacher” for the class Ren taught before the one with the Three Houses Lords+Flayn Lookalikes in what can be described as “A Bet Wrapped in a Social Experiment.” Ren had already informed the class about suddenly bringing in Seria to sub and was as honest ash she could be and spun her reasons as positively as she could.

3. Shortly after Karl first summoned Mariela, she became one of his Units that can appear before their Summoner by their own power, which is only possible if that Summoner and Unit share a very strong bond or if that was their first true Unit. They quickly forged a proper mother-son bond and made up for a lot of lost time.
