Day One

Day one of the Margaritaville Trip has ended! Today was a pure travel day with me spending it mostly napping in the car lmao. Tomorrow we’ll reach Harrass Casino in North Carolina and be there for a few days before officially heading to Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg.

Obviously, Arlo hung out with me and jammed in the back seat. He has official dominion over the Witcher Bag while I’m sleeping XD

Our food stop was of course the usual choice of Bob Evan’s, which we always seem to hit up either before the big trip or after. I decided to get a weird mix of breakfast and chicken noodle soup. Tasted great though!

We officially stopped in Kentucky for the night, where we got shakes at Steak N Shake(I got choc chip cookie dough) and I found out the vending machine has YooHoo! in it. I’ve never had that before, so might try it in the morning.

No real complaints, outside of a private matter but hey. Otherwise? Great travel day. Hope that continues!

I want to start off by talking about our own personal experiences. Back in March of 2022, we stayed at the Margaritaville Island Inn. We booked the stay through Hotels.com but really didn’t know that we had just put ourselves at a location that would be within walking distance of attractions. We had never heard of the Margaritaville Resorts, so we basically stumbled onto this experience. We just knew that this location was close to a few attractions that we were interested in seeing, nothing was really planned out for the vacation. On a side note, we had such a great experience we had to return as a family for our daughter to have these experiences as well. The second trip was in August 2023 and this was just as amazing, but more to come on that in another blog.

Day Two

Day two of Margaritaville trip has ended! We went from Kentucky to North Carolina, and will be staying here for a bit - let’s talk about that. :D

We ended up stopping at a pancake place in Pigeon Forge to eat breakfast, which was super filling and super good! Then, road tripping time >:D

Got some great shots over Gatlinburg, and of course Arlo got some too :’D

Shockingly, the further up we went, the foggier it got! It even snowed in a few areas, which was beautiful to see.

When we got to town, there were some awesome bear/fox statues and signs to take pictures with!

Once at the hotel, we got settled in and enjoyed the view.

Naturally, the night needed with some wonderful dessert. Tomorrow will be interesting, as we are meeting up with family. How fun!
